Born in Northern California and raised in Maryland, Dr. Zima Pakzad’s pediatrician helped guide her desire to be a physician and has acted as a mentor during her career. She attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for her undergraduate studies and graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University in Grenada. Dr. Pakzad completed a family medicine residency with Kaiser Permanente Foundation Hospital. After her residency, Dr. Pakzad returned to school and graduated with a master’s in Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University. I genuinely don't know where to start with how grateful I am to have found Dr. Pakzad. She is the kind of doctor you hope for but rarely find.
She has been relentlessly thorough in getting to the bottom of my health issues — referring me to the right specialists, following up, and actually communicating with me through my patient portal quickly. She doesn't just send you off and forget about you. She stays involved and you can feel that she truly cares about her patients.
If you are looking for a doctor who will advocate for you and treat you like a person, look no further. I am so lucky to have found her.

The office is well organized and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Omar was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Pakzad was thorough, professional and of course friendly! This place is very warm and welcoming. I encourage everyone looking for a primary care physician to check it out!

I was very pleased with Dr. Pakzad she was through and patient with me as I was having a stressful day. I am not however impressed with the phone system of Intermountain Health LONG wait times and they won’t connect me with the doctor’s office to have my questions answered. Very impersonal.

I didn't like the way Dr. Zima treated me. She treated me well, but she didn't tell me anything about my health, other than that I was waiting for more than 40 minutes inside her consultation room after a nurse took my blood pressure and I was ready for the consultation. I was waiting for more than 40 minutes and I was leaving the consultation room when she opened the door and she almost didn't see me and she wanted to leave quickly. I couldn't finish talking to her about my health.

The staff there is awesome and accomodating, I do struggle witht the call center when I need to ask the staff a 2 minute question but it takes longer with the call center then them passing it along then Im office calling me, and by that time I'm trying to do my job and see my client so that I can pay my bills and I don't answer and it will be about 2 or 3 days later that I do get to talk with them because they call and I can't stop and I remember to start the process over again, I will leave the house on Weds and go by there bfore work to ask my question.

Dr Pakzad was the best!! I feel blessed to have found a doctor who gave me all the time I needed and listened attentively. I haven’t had a doctor as thorough in a long time. Not to mention her smile, it definitely left a positive impression. Please don’t go anywhere Dr Pakzad. 😊. I don’t want to forget her assistant and the front desk receptionist, they both are professional, courteous and a delight.

My experience at Dr. Pakzad’s office was excellent. I was greeted warmly at reception, which is the first indication of extraordinary customer service. In addition, as the center of the office functions, she is extremely efficient. The medical assistant was very cordial and pleasant. He helped me to be more at ease. Dr. Pakzad has a very calming manner which makes it easy to relax and talk to her. She listened intently, and then answered all of my questions. This was by far the best appointment I have ever had.
