I went to this location because I needed to see the root canal specialist. If I was reading her she would get two stars as well. But this is asking about the dental office not her. Danny at the front desk was amazing. He was great at looking into my past to figure out what was going on with my insurance. He was very considerate of my needs. When it came down to being in the room to get my root canal I was far from impressed. It was a mess. I have pictures because I was concerned that I was going to be contaminated with someone else's germs or something. I am allergic to lidocaine and the assistant was Gathering the other kind of medication. I heard him tell the other Tech that he wasn't sure if there was enough there for the procedure. I got really nervous I actually stood up from the chair. I told the doctor that I had been there long enough and if they couldn't ensure that I was going to be numb for the whole procedure I wasn't going to have it done. We talked about my allergy and what I needed. She insured you there would be enough to do my procedure. She was trying to be very quick and effective. The assistant that was helping her was horrible. He was failing to use suction when he should have. I felt like I was drowning every now and then. A few times when he was going to use water he actually dribbled it all down the left side of my face. So my ear and neck and shoulder were wet. He also a couple times while turning to get something for the doctor bumped into me while the doctor had the drill in my mouth causing her to hit my lip or other teeth with the drill. I have been to several Absolute Dental Offices over the past 4 years and this one by far was the messiest. That dental assistant was one of the worst.

Let’s be honest. No one likes going to the dentist but I had a positive experience here. The dental hygienist was awesome. I didn’t even feel most of the lidocaine injections before my deep cleaning. She communicated through the whole procedure which really helped to reduce my anxiety. The Dr was very sweet as well. They are supposed to close at 5 PM, but they did find a cavity and stayed open a little bit late filling mine. I also want to mention the Front Desk staff were super friendly and very efficient at handling my insurance. I was actually having a pretty crappy day before I walked in but the Front Desk people cheered me up.

The staff was so sweet and communicative. I've searched for a year here in Las Vegas for dental that is professional and upfront about costs; Ive found that here! I need my wisdom teeth removed so all price estimates (estimated to the max amount I would pay, so no surprises) were printed out before scheduling the appointment which was very much appreciated.

The man who helped me schedule the appointments and help check me in at the front desk (I believe his name was Danny) made my experience great. He was kind and helpful, aiding me with any questions I had.

Today I met with my new dentist after my health insurance changed. Since my father was also an oral surgeon I am picky so was happy with Dr. Teresa Solorzano attention to detail. Also the front office took time 2 explain my options & worked hard 2 figure out best course of action.

I always avoid this company like the plague. All locations. They over schedule, you’ll be waiting hours after you appointment, most of front desk aren’t that friendly, and neither are the other employees in the back. The lobby is also incredibly small here so a lot of people are crowded and just standing. Also during wisdom teeth surgery once, I asked if I could keep them because all my friends got to keep theirs and they said $100 which I’ve never heard of someone being charged just to get their OWN teeth. I was also stuck in the chair for an hour or two before I was even worked on while I got into the back room. The nicest people were the nurses who aren’t there everyday (I assume just the surgeon team).

10/10 stars. Came in for an emergency, my crown fell off . The staff is super friendly and professional , made me feel super comfortable . The experience was great, I took my mom for a check up my mom is in a wheel chair. She's a stroke survivor taking x rays are difficult but they went above and beyond to make it happend they moved the heavy dental patient chairs and did there best for the exams. I have been to this location multiple times and I absolutely love this office. I’ve never had any issues with any of the staff. The doctor is the best. I have walked in without an appointment due to pain in my mouth. He had a little bit of time in between appointments, so he took me in and corrected the issue right away. I have been terrified to see a dentist for years now. I'd make appointments get to the office and leave. I've done it twenty thirty times just up and run. But EVERYONE at this absolute dental from the minute I arrived was so damn amazing the receptionist that was working on Friday August 22nd she went out of her way to do absolutely everything to make me feel better. The nurse working with her I wish to God every nurse in the world was made as kind as her. She could see the fear in my face and literally hugged me telling me everything was going to be fine. Dentist is excellent. Dental Assistant is excellent. Office manager in front desk do it all just doesn't work if you're even unable to answer your calls during office hours 10 am ish. My first visit I left with no plan, cost list, no instructions but a medical release to take a bad molar with holes in front and back. Their lack of compassion for such an emergency is inexcusable to say the least. I hope it gets better or they hire more or close down a location that can't perform with normal standards. I would look for a different place. My daughter goes to a different Absolute Dental office and they forget to notate the appointment given for my grandson's Ortho. When they show up no appt and luckily she had the business card with the appt on it. It's happened twice.. Smh. That's serious unprofessionalism. I will go to the medical board and insurance companies next about this.

Then as im sitting there waiting he then tells me I won't be seen today because it takes a half hour to verify my insurance. Imagine your jaw is swollen and half your face feels on fire. You book an emergency dentist visit at 8 am. You get there 20mins early and fill out the paperwork. You don't get seen until 840ish and do $40 work of xrays. You finally see the dentist at 915 who hits your teeth with a pen and asks if it hurts.

When you find out you need a specialist- who isnt there, the nurse tells you it is a two week wait. When you call later that day crying and say your pain meds don't help, the nurse says be patient and wait 2 days for the antibiotics.

Oh and they take like an hour and a half lunch at 1230, which is super helpful if you need to reach out.

Hopefully they let me transfer my xrays because they don't give a damn about you.

We made an appointment and then they had some “tech problem” as they said in an email. It was on the day of our appointment. So we didn’t even go. They also stated in the email they would reach out to us and reschedule but they never did. Two weeks later and still nothing. I called like 4 times now and no one answers at all. I don’t know if the women at the front desk are lazy or forgot or what but don’t say your going to reach when your not going to. Tell me to reach out. But then they should be able to answer the phone, at least!!!! Maybe cuz when I made the appointment they had the music playing and it was decently loud. I just had to move on and make an another appointment else where for my family and I.

I came in with a broken tooth that had a massive infection and I didn't even know if my insurance was going to work or not because I had never used it and they patched everything up for me with the insurance and everything they you know set me up and help me fill out my paperwork that I still hadn't filled out and all this and they went over the line of duty in other words and I still have to go back on Monday but honestly one of the best dentists office that I've ever really visited in my life. they're actually better than any of the other absolute dentist office I've ever been to for sure. so thank you to the Buffalo and lake Mead office in the dentist is there and the staff. they're amazing. thank you! ps the prices are amazing also as you can see for my picture my infection was pretty bad. they actually like I said made me feel so much more comfortable and not embarrassed about it. so thank you guys again

I booked an appointment and discussed what I needed over the phone, they gave me a quote of $260 for a small cavity and regular teeth cleaning.
they presented me with a quote of $1950 after having done the tests saying that I needed a deep cleaning, they refused to do the normal teeth cleaning. I had to pay $49 for x-ray tests that I didn't request and that I had already done last week at another dentist! ridiculous!

Let me start by saying I don’t have any teeth or mouth problems I recently moved here and was looking for a good local dentist, I just wanted a routine checkup. I went and after over 20+ X-rays they Refused to give me a routine cleaning and wanted me to pay for a deep cleaning which is over $1000 more than what was quoted. They will book your appointment and then upsell you on services you don’t need. Stay away.

Had an appointment set for 4:00pm.
There was some technical issue where they had me down for 2:00pm. I had an actual email confirmation that said my appointment was set for 4:00 pm. The office hours say 8:00am-5:00pm.
As soon as I walked in to check in at 3:50pm. They said they were closing, and cannot see me. They had me marked down for 2:00, the lady at the front desk didn't even take a look at my phone I was trying to show her. I wanted to get a wisdom tooth removal, it was causing a lot of pain. She was unhelpful and explained what I already knew. They couldn't honor the appointment that was set under the confirmation email I had received. So thanks for nothing! Not sure who that lady at the desk was, but she did not help at all.

I made an appointment with this office and I wish I never did. Completely NASTY rude behavior toward me, as well as misgendering me after already identifying myself and all details. I came to better my health with absolute dental I came for the respectful environment that is promised. I received horrible service and no service at all because I will never be treated poorly. Especially when I’m coming out of pocket. I asked for a manager to get better service and was denied. Eventually “Aris” “Iris” claimed to be the manager of the office and decided to escalate the problem instead. I asked for the associates’ name that was being nasty toward me and was denied until I got a name “Donna” which I think was fraud. To make a long story short They have horrible communication with the patient and call center, they have terrible customer service, and their message is to have integrity be respectful and all these nice things but I did not receive a word of it. Went as far as not identifying the person who was CLEARLY being nasty toward me. No name tags ? Being treated nasty, misgendered, appointment not set correctly, blaming call center instead of fixing the problem I will not be back DONT WORRY 😂 ZERO STARS

This is a great office to Have as A home practice. They Genuinely care and want the best outcome for you .,they do not have a surgeon on hand so they will schedule you out in order to get extraction. I’m learning that in order to get services you’ll have to know what your insurance is offering and make it a point to request those services. I called becaise I needed a TMJ dr. Had a referral from my insurance. They said they could see me and help me with my TMJ. Got there 15 minutes early told the receptionist that i was there to see a TMJ specialist then be held waiting for an extra 45 minutes past my appointment. To be told the x rays & the exam wont be covered and they aren't TMJ specialists. Dentist said a mouth guard wouldn't be covered my insurance & it would be a cash pay & i will be charged for the appointment since I have a dentist and I am going to be responsible???
I told them i saw my dentist the day before and was going after the appointment.

I love my dentist but i would stay away from this place. You will be scammed!!!
Thank goodness my insurance is behind me, and i wont be paying this bill & will dispute this unlawful practice.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Kapel. She didn't see any cavities but listened while I explained that my teeth still hurt. She tried a cold test on me and she said my teeth are probably just super sensitive. She prescribed me a special fancy RX toothpaste which I will try. While it felt silly going in and finding basically nothing was wrong, I appreciate that the doctor wasn't just ready to start drilling my face all willy-nilly. She was kind and patient and I will definitely come back here.

I chose this Absolute Dental office on 3265 E. Tropicana as they were able to accommodate my 90 years old father with a day notice as they have some space saved for emergencies. That is almost impossible to find with any doctor's office - even opposite - 2 + months wait for the new patients!
This is only one of the reason - office truly trying to accommodate as soon as possible - here are the rest - brand new office with brand new latest equipment! We did not have to wait; very well organized! Most attentive staff; I would like to mention those that attended my father today: Yvonne at the reception - smiling, professional, handled paperwork fast and promptly! Xray tech Arteshia; very good with my father, as well polite and sweet! Doctor Grace Yoo - knowledgeable and caring with great bedside manners, explaining all the options for my father's treatment! And last, but not least, the office manager Jazmine who discussed and explained financial side of treatments, and made herself available for anything else we might need, such scheduling the appointment for dad with endodontist; handling the referral for dad for oral surgeon, left her direct with me should we need anything else!
During the visit, office was kept immaculately clean; workers were constantly sanitizing everything!
Did you have such a treatment at any doctor's office? I have not!
I am giving them 100 stars! I do not think that we generally like going to the dentists; but, you will like this one! THANK YOU VERY MUCH - YOU ARE AMAZING!

TLDR - BEWARE OF INCOMPETENCE: This place is a disaster...From scheduling, insurance, to procedure sanitization practices (dropped tool during root canal), just don't.

UHC patient here who had to book a certain Dr., this took hours over the phone since the agent was trying to schedule with location as a priority instead of Dr.

Upon arrival, they still booked me for the wrong dr, tried charging me 2x the estimated cost since they booked me with another dr at the same office who was out of network, resecheuled etc.

Day of root canal, took 1 hr to go back, intern fit crown and had to re-do it 2x, stopped before surgeion go to me since they had the wrong billing codes, spent 2+ hours dealing with that, surgeon does their thing and drops an tool/instrument on the ground, picks it up and continues with the same gloves.

Hoping she didn't use the same tool but she should have surely changed gloves after picking something up off the ground.

$1000+ and 8+ hours later, I vouched to never go back.

Wouldn’t recommend. They are too disorganized for a large chain. My most recent experience confirmed I won’t be going back. I scheduled an orthodontia consultation. Received confirmation and multiple reminders up to the day of the appointment. When I went they couldn’t find my appointment and when they did they let me know they don’t have that team available today… I could reschedule a month out or try to get an appointment at a different location. Why would I waste more time?

Absolute garbage. Charged for a "consultation" to tell me exactly what their general dentist told me two days prior and when I opted to have the tooth removed they only then said I needed medical clearance. I wasnt told I needed medical clearance when I was seen 2 days prior and scheduled this appointment. So wasted $90, wasted an entire day off work, no pay. Why wasn't I told about the clearance before? The information hadn't changed in just 2 days.

My visit to Tropicana was great. I'm somewhat bummed that partials were the only option given with me paying out of pocket. Then you contact and they say you did not meet the waiting period and the facilitator should have known that and it should have been told to me. The dentist was super friendly but im trying to get a referral for tooth extraction and i can get through to every office but this one. I was here on the 18th and havent been able to get a hold of anybody since then ive had other offices call and nobody answers. I need a referral and to get my tooth pulled out before thursday the 3rd. Please get someone who can actually answer the phones ive called everyday and nothing everytime. I've been to this office before and the service is just fine. The frustrating point is trying to get an appointment that is reliable. I showed up to my CONFIRMED appointment to find out that it was cancelled. I didn't get any texts or voicemails about the cancellation. They called but I don't answer calls because of too many spam calls. I rescheduled the appointment assuming it was just an honest oversight. However, I confirmed the appointment (correct time) by text and a few days later, got a text reminding me about my appointment at the WRONG TIME. I don't know how their scheduling system managed to change my appointment time to a time that I never requested and am not available. Well, after all that, I just decided to give up. I called the office but I was sent to an answering service and cancelled my appointment. I hope that they might get their technical issues worked out in the future. And if the office is unaware of appointment mismanagement, here is my feedback. If I'm not alone in this, you might reconsider your outsourced scheduling or answering service.

Worst dentist I’ve ever been to they left me in pain for weeks. I had to get two fillings and two crowns and it had been a whole nightmare. I had to come back twice because they didn’t properly seal my temporary crowns and I was in a lot of pain. I was set to get one crown installed on the 10th but they wanted me to see an endodontist on the 17th, so they canceled my original appointment for the 10th and made me wait a whole extra week to get anything done because I feel like they weren’t trying to spend the time on me.

The dental assistant who did my temporary crowns had a poor skill set and was telling me incorrect information when I came back for my permanents. Now the crowns are in and they’ve been settling and it’s been fine. But the second time I came back for my temporary’s not being sealed, I complained about the filing they did was awkwardly biting into the tooth above it and causing pain. So they adjusted the top tooth and must’ve drilled the filing past where it sits in the tooth because I have sensitivity now and it hurts to eat or drink water.

Here’s the fun part though as I was addressing it with the dentist the day we put my permanent crowns in, the dentist told me they didn’t do the filing that the dental assistant had ground into 2 weeks prior. And when I told them they had touched it, she just shrugged at me.

So not only did they take forever and leave me in pain, but they caused me a whole new problem with my mouth that I had not had prior to going in. Stay away from them, especially if you need some work done.

The only good part about their office was the gentleman up front. He was extremely kind and apologetic even though neither the dentist nor the assistant were. Can’t believe I have to spend more money elsewhere to get my tooth fixed now.
