This is my first time at Absolute Dental and I was pleasantly surprised of the quality of service I received. The woman who was at the front desk (I did not catch her name) my initial contact, she was so kind & caring . I was referred to Absolute Dental to get a Consultation for a tooth Removal. I had previously had a Stroke and had problems using my right hand to write, I had explained that to her and that I filled out the paperwork online before arriving, but she said , “the dentist needed a consultation sheet.”

She then sat next to me, help me fill out the consultation paperwork while still checking people in to the office. I thought that was a great demonstration of being able to multitask & providing duties that aren’t a part of her job description. that was beautiful💖. It set the tone for the professionalism in that Office. I would give this place a 10 out of 10 would greatly recommend.

This place is absolutely horrible 7 months pregnant with a release from my obgyn for an infected tooth. I waited in the lobby for and hour and a half before being brought back to a worn out room only to be told by a dental assistant that the actual dentist would not see me or extract my tooth because I’m pregnant. I was told this I could receive an oral antibiotic prescription that I went to pick up and my pharmacist to me they never received. So trying to get ahold of them to find my long lost Prescription is also proving impossible because they never answer the phone EVER I know that because it rang the entire time I was in the lobby waiting for my appointment while the receptionist was just sitting there talking.she never answered the phone not once in almost two hours. This place is my third location attempt of this chain of dental office I’ve tried and they’re all garbage.

Awful. This office was extremely rude and unprofessional. The dentist made me wait over 45 minutes until she reviewed the x-rays and then recommended a deep cleaning that would cost me $224 out of pocket. I only wanted to have a normal cleaning done which would be covered by the insurance and they refused and said I would need to get another dentist. I have no issues with the dental hygienist and staff that I encountered on my visit HOWEVER, when I went for my initial appointment April 2024 I was told that I had 2 cavities that would cost nearly $900 to fill since my insurance allegedly wouldn’t cover the full cost. I was about to lose my insurance at the time so I didn’t continue scheduling with this office or any other dentist. Today I decided to try a new dental office and upon completing my initial X-rays and cleaning, I was told I have 0 cavities and perfect dental health. If I had listened to absolute dental, I would have paid nearly $1,000 for a procedure I didn’t need. Please use caution with this office and get a second opinion if they’re recommending treatment you’re unsure of.

Overall, it was really good. I had gone in to get my crown shaped and they were able to let me in a little bit earlier than my appointment which I really appreciate. However, I did feel like the assistant was being a little aggressive in my mouth knowing I had just gotten a root canal and was feeling very sensitive. I will say the actual doctor who did the crown was very nice and talked me through what was going to be done. I just feel like they try to get the procedure done and get you out. which is good on time management, but I also feel like I shouldn’t have to feel like my procedure is trying to be rushed to move on to the next patient. I have no issues with the doctor or dental hygienist—they are kind and handle my daughter well. However, the front office lacks empathy and could benefit from additional training in problem-solving and customer service.

In the past six months, I’ve had to fill out the same paperwork three times, which I find unnecessary. Having worked in front-office medical for years, I know there’s no reason to require a full packet every six months. A simple printout for verification and initials would suffice if updates are truly needed.

During my most recent visit, I understand that the system was down. However, it’s unacceptable to place that burden on patients when there are multiple ways to work around the issue. Worse, when I tried to get assistance, I was ignored multiple times. (Who leaves the front desk unattended when there are patients in the office?) When I finally spoke with a staff member, she seemed completely indifferent to the inconvenience.

Had this situation been handled differently, I would have simply been annoyed and moved on. Instead, the lack of professionalism has led me to decide not to return for future services.

I recently had a cleaning with Miguel at this office. I have never had a more thorough and satisfying cleaning in my entire life. I walked out of there with my mouth feeling amazing. He was so detailed and gentle. As much as he got in every nook and cranny of my teeth and gums, I never felt one bit of discomfort. What a professional. Being on Medicaid or any type of government assistant often makes you feel like you’re getting the just minimal last thought care possible. On top of it being a young adult it’s not easy having to navigate your own doctor appointments without parental help looool. At first making my appointment with Absolute Dental at another location made me feel like that- a last thought, rushed, we got better things to get to. THIS LOCATION ON WINDMILL really made me feel like I was a TOP priority. They treated me so well. Thank you to Dr. Figueroa. Thank you to hygienist Dr. Miguel and thank you to office manager Lucille for answering all my questions taking time to hear me as a patient and not just another government funded individual. Although it was not busy in office, environment alone felt well managed, and an overall calm place to be.The tenderness they had towards my situation and the professionalism/bedside manner that was carried was just what I needed to feel safe in a place that can cause so much anxiety. They scheduled me for 11 am for an oral surgery. "Come 15 min early" they said. It is now 12:30!!!! Why have to been in the waiting room for nearly TWO HOURS.
When I asked the reason, the woman gave me no answer, no explanation, nothing. Oh, she did say that multiple people had been scheduled at the same time. I asked "why would you schedule me at a time as well as 5 other people??? No answer no explanation NO care or respect for you or your time. It is freezing 🥶 in here and I could have better spent this time: in. The staff took X-rays and a couple of pictures but didn’t even check my gum pockets or perform a thorough exam. The dentist barely spent three minutes with me and immediately recommended deep cleanings and fillings on the sides of my teeth without really explaining why or considering other options.

Overall, the vibe was pushy, and I felt like they were more focused on getting me to pay for expensive services than providing proper care. They even tried to add “discounts” outside of insurance to make the services seem like a better deal, which felt misleading.

I took my daughter in yesterday for a teeth cleaning (she is deaf and mentally challenged) and the hygienist told me she has gingivitis and showed me how bad her teeth were and said he'd clean them up good. About 15 minutes into the cleaning I said last time she was here I was told she needed a deep cleaning and it would be $200 cash. I agreed and prepared my daughter for the next visit that it would probably hurt and take awhile. I usually go in the room but this time I did not. She was out in 5 minutes! I questioned the lady and she said it's all good. I couldn't believe a deep cleaning took literally 5 minutes but what do I know! The hygienist yesterday told me there's no way a deep cleaning was done and that a regular cleaning should be at least 20 to 30 minutes. I was also told that she should have had a follow up in 4 weeks after the deep cleaning and that was not told to me. I was then told the former hygienist was let go as they had issues before with her. I'm hoping they give me my $200 cash back!

I currently bring my mother to this location she is a patient here and during our visit we met a very nice dental assistant by the of name Katrina who is very sweet with an amazing personality and great customer service she really treats patients like there family. Now all of a sudden she is no longer working at this location and I have feeling it has to with her race because there is no other African Americans that work at this location and they have just gotten rid of her I feel like these offices need to be diverse and not just one race working at an office that way patients can relate to different workers. Today was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist in my life. I initially had problems here, with older doctors, but the hygienist today, Miguel, was absolutely Amazing. He was the first dentist I've ever had to properly Teach me anything about properly taking care of my teeth. Every dentist tells you to brush and floss, but he was the first to actually teach me how to do those things. He explained why we floss, and how plaque becomes a problem, and what the floride treatment is for. Don't waste your time. The staff is rude and they talk about patients behind their back. A woman left the office while I waited for my appointment and the front desk staff talked rudely about her for 10 minutes. I was appalled. The doctor was very kind but everyone else is short, rude and very unprofessional. There needs to be major staff changes. I have been trying to call the office for months to schedule my follow up appointment and no one is answering the phone. I am extremely disappointed. I will be finding a new dentist.

Edit to add: I went back after speaking to the management. I should have trusted my gut and found another office. Now my dental benefits are used (I have to wait 5 years for new denture benefits) and I am stuck with a denture I can't use.

I came to the team for a new denture and after months of try ons the set I was given had the same flaws I requested they fix. I feel like they dismissed my requests and complaints and gave me an inadequate fitting, and cosmetically flawed denture.

I expressed repeatedly that the denture is the wrong color. The gums are dark, the teeth are yellow and it doesn't fit my mouth well at all. I expressed to my tech over and over that it doesn't fit well. He was dismissive and seemed to be more interested in leaving for the day then to help me fix my denture. He held the documents out for me to sign saying I was happy with the denture despite me staying I was unhappy.

I regret going to this location. I regret not advocating for myself better because now I am stuck with an painful, discolored, oversized denture that actually ruins my smile rather than accentuate it. I am disappointed to say the very least.

The treatment and quality I received was up there with my experience from my long-time dentist who converted to a dental implant practice. The crown I received fit perfectly and gives me no issues.

Last month, I lost a filling in a back molar (different molar), and was seen by the dentist the very next day. Not only did I receive the same care (another crown), but the cleaning was the best I’ve ever gotten.

Don’t let the fact that Absolute Dental is a chain brand stop you from using their services. They have highly qualified dentists, hygienists and technicians, the quality of their materials are top notch, and advanced technology for a precise fit (both my crowns fit perfectly).

I can’t speak for all locations, but I will continue to frequent this location for all my dental needs.

I started going here in March, looking to get dentures and have gone through the entire denture process which has been so long and just now I am able to wear my denture. The dental assistants at this specific location, need better training with dentures. When I did my try on fit, I expressed that they felt very bulky and big in my mouth, I asked for the advice of the assistant who told me any bulkiness of the teeth will be fixed when the final form comes in but the try on was cosmetic only. I signed the consent form for the final form to be made, the final form comes in 2 weeks later... extremely bulky and the assistant (a different one) didn't want to touch them telling me that I needed to try them out an come back if they bother me. Well, they bothered me immediately and I couldn't even properly talk in them or have a chance to break them in because they hurt my mouth so badly. I made an appointment that day for the following week to have them adjusted, the dental assistant that helped me was very hesitant to adjust them like she didn't know what she was doing. When she did adjust them, it was the smallest amount, I had to keep telling her to take more but she told me to try them out an come back if they were still bothering me. At least this time I could wear them but not for long, I wore them about 6 hours before the pain was too much, and I had to schedule another appointment to come in the following week. That appointment was no different than the first, hesitant dental assistant, didn't want to take too much... oddly enough that assistant was the same one that told me the bulkiness could be fixed. I left that appointment knowing I'd have to go back but today I received a bill and each time I need adjusting its $35 so I will not be back, I purchased a dremel and looked up how to do it myself. I can wear them now, eat and talk comfortably... thank goodness after 4 long months. I am also having issues with the payment, my "locked in" price a little over $700 has turned into $1200, I am just happy to be done at this point, if you are getting dentures I'd highly suggest going elsewhere.

I honestly don’t even know why I still go here. I got a cavity filled a while back and the tooth hurt so much for months and now there’s a gap like all the filling sunk in. I went most recently last month to get a cavity filled again because you could clearly see one starting to form and it was giving me some slight sensitivity every once in a while and the dentist, I forgot her name, tried to tell me that I had no cavity and that in fact I needed a crown on a different tooth and needed to get my wisdom tooth pulled? Then she prescribed me antibiotics? They insisted I get more x-rays done but I refused and the lady at the front desk (she was nice and so were the assistants) had stated that it should all have been covered by my insurance and I had no deductible to pay. I felt my time was severely wasted as I had just went to get a cavity filled before it became a bigger issue but then it got worse. Fast forward to today and I recieve a letter in the mail from them that I owe $52? I call their main office and they said that my insurance didn’t cover it and that the front desk lady should’ve charged me there. That was the last straw to write my review, my time was wasted so if anything I should have charged them and my mom and friend also have been here before and they have all said that this place is terrible so I really have no idea how their reviews are so high they lead me to believe they are fake. Moral of the story, avoid this place if you can! The assistants and front desk people are nice but at the end of the day this place is just trying to get money out of you not provide good and quality service!

The Absolute Dental at Windmill has been great. Everyone that I have talked to here has been polite, kind, and very helpful. I had a filling done, and the dentist was quick and gentle. And the office manager Jennifer took the time to sit down with me and answer various questions I had and helped me fill out paperwork for my insurance that I would have been totally lost filling out on my own!

Edit: Please be sure to double-check with your insurance if a particular treatment is covered or not. I needed a crown and was originally told by someone at the office that it wasn't covered by my insurance. I called my insurance after seeing that it was covered in a benefits pamphlet. Sure enough, it is fully covered by my insurance. After calling and having the office send a pre-authorization form, it got approved in a few days. Saved myself about $1,800 with a few calls.

I'm hoping this was just an honest mistake on their part, but PLEASE double-check with your insurance company to see if the treatment you need is covered!!!

The manager here knows NOTHING yet will lie to you giving false information pretending she did her work when she hasn’t. I came in November 14 for my 1pm appointment. I arrived at 12:40 so I have time to fill out my paperwork and be on time for my scheduled appointment. I had to leave at 2pm because no one had seen me yet. I was charged $135 for the consult (this is due before you’re even seen) I leave and ask for a refund since nothing was done. Th manager tells me it will take 2-3 business days to be reflected. It is now November 30 and no refund is made yet. I had her call my cards customer service in front of me since she had been saying she’s been in contact with them. In front of her, with the phone on speaker, the bank representative states that nothing has been done on their part other than the $135 payment taken but no dispute, refund, reversal has been made. But the manager told me she did it on the 14th and again on the 26th. If she’s not trained for certain things, she shouldn’t be giving out information.

If you have liberty dental please know that you’re covered for an Exam and X-ray when getting your annual cleaning. They tried charging me $35 for both even though it’s covered by my insurance, so they are essentially double dipping. Just make sure you call Liberty before your appointment to make sure they have them as your primary. I also wouldn’t be surprised if more than half of the patients they see aren’t eligible for a regular cleaning due to needing a more detailed service, which , means more money in their pockets. Please always do your research by contacting your insurance. Be your own best advocate!!

Would not recommend a corporate dentist office there's tons of great orthodontist at your local dentist office. I have insurance that covered the consoletation they'll overcharged at this location I was seen today and did not get treated because they billed $11,928.50 for supposably 9 cavities . I have 1 I could visibly see that this location in 2022 did not take care of and a nother one that has to get treated that isn't visible but I overall have no pain in my mouth eating, chewing , no teeth breaking etc came in for a check up what supposedly invisible discounts . I have a friend that has the worst oral health issue where he was having heart problems and bleeding gums and tooth broke , cavities .. I'm not sure where he wants but they charged them $7,000. That's more decent to pay off than what they were going to charge me . I would try oral probiotics and coconut guru , rinse with hydroperoxide y'all it naturally keeps your gums healthy I hope this will help someone🙏🏻🫶🏻

Maybe the dr should listen to the patient. After you dr said no on will ever take my teeth out I got very depressed... later i went to celebrate dental with the same insurance. They listen and agreed. Refered me to oral surgeon and got all my teeth pulled out for dentures. Woken up from surgery with the headaches completely gone. I was finally able to eat again and my health got better. Years later I can eat, have an great smile and so happy. Also it was the same insurance that covered everything at 100%. Your teeth affects your health alot and an tooth infection can kill you.

Since the new ownership I'm not that happy anymore. The receptionists I have met are not really friendly and don't really care. Then all of the dentists are trying to sell you on so much. Orthodontist felt super rushed and suggested a long and expensive treatment plan very quickly without detailed justification. Visit felt pushy. I’m 26 and have never been told I needed braces for non-cosmetic reasons. The appointment felt rushed and the orthodontist failed to listen to my actual needs. After having to wait two months for this appointment, the day finally arrived. I went to my appointment and got there on time. They made me wait an hour in the waiting area. When my name was finally called, I sat in the room for another 30 minutes, waiting for the dentist. He comes in and without introducing himself, he sits infront of his desk and starts filling out and looking over paper work. Then he starts asking me questions that I already provided on my paperwork. As im answering "No" to all of his questions, which I had already answered on the paperwork that he had right infront of him...With a puzzled face, he paused and then proceeded to ask me what was wrong with my eyebrow area. Even though the question was random and didn't make sense to ask about something on my face when he is a dentist, not a dermatologist, and this is a consultation for my tooth removal. I felt very uncomfortable because of my insecurities with my acne. My physical flaws is not something that I need or want pointed out... However, I explained that the day prior, my dermatologist had to do a procedure that involved popping stubborn pimples and cyst. This is why my eyebrow area had small cuts. The area was dry, a little red but not bleeding, nothing coming out, not near the mouth area, nothing concerning at all.. I explained how I have been struggling with bad acne for over a year. He then proceeded to ask me, if a dermatologist has looked at it. Asking why has it been a year? Why so long? If they really can't figure out what is causing this issue? If its safe for him to touch it?... the more he asked, the worst I felt about myself and his negative reaction. He was acting as if I did drugs or have some disease. He barely wanted to touch me. He kept looking at me weird and asking to see the veins on my arms. Asking if I donate blood... At some point he was almost trying to scare me and intimidate me from getting the procedure done by telling me that it can make my TMJ worst, when I have done my research, spoken to dentist and have been told otherwise... He would continue to tell me about the scary things that can happen... He asked multiple times if my wisdom tooth absolutely needs to be taken out? Then asked me about my medications and why I take them. I answered all of his questions. When he asked me why I was on testosterone, I told him that I wasn't comfortable answering that. He proceeded to get pushy by insisting that he needs to know. Even after I said no and explained why, he kept insisting and making me feel extremely uncomfortable. He even told me to whisper it in his ear, that he won't tell anyone. Asking me if its due to a sex change... I asked him if this is a deal breaker and if its something that he absolutely needs to know in order to get this surgery done? He paused for a few seconds and started thinking. Then he said, "Actually, no... its not something that he needs to know." He then continued to insist on wanting to know why I am taking testosterone. Even my wife started feeling uncomfortable with his questions and how pushy he was about it... I told him, if this is an issue, I can always go elsewhere. He says its not a problem but still kept insisting. I finally said, "you know what? Forget it!" As I am walking out, his assistant and all of the other employees and near by patients were listening to our conversation so they stared at me as im walking out. Every body heard my business. I wasted months waiting, then wasted an hour and a half waiting, just to get humiliated multiple times and now I have to start all over again at another dentist office and wait longer for this procedure to get done. I have never felt so discriminated and offended. I have epilepsy seizures, which I put down on the paperwork and he didn't mention it at all... It seems like my seizures weren't as concerning to him as my acne issues and him wanting to know about me taking testosterone. I believe his name is Dr. Kim and he is incredibly unprofessional.

I am a stickler about teeth cleaning so I go every three months. What really turned my head was a Hygenist Christine. First of all she’s a real character. Fun to talk to (when I can, lol). But she uses scrapers instead of those ultrasonic tools that tickle the roots of your teeth. Boy she gets in there and gets everything. After she finished my teeth and gums never felt so clean. She’s old school using manual tools.

I’ve been bringing my daughter here for braces since the end of last year, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. We’ve had multiple appointments for the exact same procedures, and she has had her pictures taken three different times with no clear explanation. It feels like they are not tracking her history or even know where she is in the treatment process.

After six appointments, I finally received a call saying that the insurance had approved the braces procedure. We came in expecting to move forward, only to find out they wanted to take even more pictures again. I have never experienced this level of disorganization at a dental office before.

The lack of communication, repeated appointments, and wasted time have been very disappointing.
