Sunset location ADCO, This place was alright at FIRST. Owner Dentist moved to diff location. New dentist is ok

Now my third year with them with diff insurance. New Office Manager is rude, not welcoming at all and the same goes with some of the staff. She explains things like your dumb. I have some $ credit on my account from my previous insurance and found out that some of it were used to pay what was not paid by insurance without notifying me, and mind you, it was explained to me prior to all works done, that it was actually approved by insurance prior to works. Now I am finding out that it was not, so they just took the credit and use it to pay the balance. I would have wanted to be notified first.

With this new Office Manager, i dont appreciate her attitude. She needs to treat people with respect and gratitude. She needs to realize we are(patients)why she has a job. When i came for an appt. everyone was late. Three patients and Dr Huyn was outside waiting for the other staff to come in and open the door.

Since i have been coming to this place i have lost several teeth (either extraction or bridge). I maintained my dental appts for decades and my previous dentist had done a great job preserving my teeth (California). Now with ADCO seems like all they want is to do bridge on my teeth one after another. They wont give you a phone call for any updates on anthing.

I WILL BE CHANGING DENTAL OFFICE. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Great dentists and friendly reception staff. The staff does an excellent job explaining what is wrong, showing you, and gives you information to make your decisions on a treatment plan. They work with you on priorities and what you want done.

One of their dental hygienists, Alesa, does wonderful work and makes a teeth cleaning a positive experience. Great conversations as well.

Daniel at the front desk called to verify our insurance. He made his own note our insurance was a federal plan from Delta Dental Insurance and he assumed they did not accept our insurance. He called Delta to verify, but never asked them if we were covered, he just ask if our policy was a federal plan and then he hung up. Mind you he called them twice but never ask if we were covered just asked if our plan was a federal plan. So, we called Delta and they assured us we were covered. The Delta agent held online for several minutes while we drove back to the dentist, but when we got there they refused to talk to the agent on the phone. Said they were checking thru their own agent. Finally, they did realize our insurance was good and they would accept it. So we started our appointment. They took an x-ray and then told us to wait for the dentist. She showed up and looked at my mouth for the filling to be fixed and then she said it is easy, they already prepared the materials to fix the broken filling. Little did we knew Dr. Navales, went to the back and the lady on the front desk telling us the dentist going out for lunch after waited for so long and then she told us to come back 2 hours. Note we had an appointment and only reason it was delayed was because of Daniel's incompetence's. I would not recommend this ADCO DENTAL. I will rate them zero BS.

Went in there and was treated so badly from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a frown and head shake as if I was in the wrong place then I was spoke. To and dealt with very unprofessionally by the staff at desk she then mumbled something after I told her to have a better day then asked what she mumbled she kept walking to back and never came back until she heard me asking for manager info after I was advised my son could now be seen behind a Technicality,she then began to argue loudly with me and once I got irate with her I was advised to calm down as she kept going I felt staff could have handled their staff a little better in that escalated situation I felt very discriminated against and I have never ever felt that way in a dental establishment we will not ever be going back there

Went in for a simple cleaning and left being scared into believing I needed 4 fillings. Worst mistake ever not getting a second opinion. Christine messed up my fillings so bad I wonder how recently she even became licensed if at all. I came to a follow up to have her fix it and she did not have the skills to fix it. I was given the option to see the ‘specialist’ at the practice which I did and he was not comfortable working on the fillings (I imagine because of how badly done they are). So I had to go to a different dentist to have them fixed and now I’m out hundreds more $ and excruciating pain for months. Horribly incompetent dentistry you should be ashamed.

Let me start off by saying...
I should have seen a dentist sooner and like most people my situation boils down to money and insurance.
I went in last minute because of a tooth that was causing me a lot of pain which I was aware of and am aware that my teeth are in poor shape. But that's what New Year's resolutions are for to always be improving. And I finally got insurance through my husband
On the phone it was promising, I felt like I had a solid chance of getting this taken care of.
Showed up early to my 12:30p appointment and wasn't called back until almost 1:00p. They took X-rays and because of the pain I was certain it was going to be a root canal. Sure enough I need a root canal. The dentist starts looking around the rest of my mouth and immediately tells me I need other work done. AGAIN IM AWARE . I like most people am anxious at the dentist and also I'm ashamed of my mouth and teeth I'm ashamed I haven't taken better care of them I know it'll take me years and lots of money to fix the damage I helped caused but I'm going to try.

Worst part!
She prescribed me a medication that people who are allergic to penicillin SHOULD NOT take and I only found this out when I went to fill the prescription and was told by the pharmacist ehhh probably not a good idea. So 5 stars to the guy at Albertsons
To the dentist that helped me on Saturday around 1pm your bedside manner stinks and how could you be so careless with writing a prescription

I will be calling on Monday to cancel my appointment and taking my business elsewhere

If you have any anxiety about the dentist...avoid this one from one anxious girly to another

The doctors in this office are honest about the treatment one needs. Other places I have been to only diagnose treatment just for the money. The doctors explain the treatment well and on top of that the assistant explains it again. The assistant Ruby helped me and she was very knowledgeable, helpful, and honest throughout my visit.

They don’t let you go in back with your kids, they don’t explain ANYTHING they are doing, they don’t give the parents an option to be involved in the treatment… they say “this is what he/she has & this is what we are doing OK sign here ! If they are overbooked or running late, they will do half the work on your kids and reschedule you for another day. THEY DONT EVEN LET YOU MEET THE DENTIST THAT IS WORKING ON YOUR KID. & to top it off, I asked for my sons tooth 🦷 after extraction & THEY THREW IT AWAY they refuse to give it to me! When I ask to speak to the dentist they deny.
If you are ok with all that, this place is ok but I’m not.

Our experience as whole family in this dental office on Sahara was the worst. I selected this place based on the name, reviews, location, and they had appointments on Saturdays. However, the name and reviews did not match their service. My first visit in 2021, the hygienist and assistant talked about work drama as they were cleaning my teeth. The conversation was about how the dental assistant not getting a requested raise and a party they should go to or not because of another co-worker drama. The hygienist finally realized this was not a conversation they should be discussing in front of me so she finally ask about me and my family. I asked the rest of my family about their experience and they said the same thing that their dental hygienist were talking about work drama during their service. One of my daughter had fillings done and had to redo a filling at least three times. This filling cracked causing her pain and had to take her to a different dental place to fix since she did not want to back here. My other daughter's gums were bleeding after her cleaning as she tried to hold back her tears while informing me. She overheard her hygienist say to another co-worker that she was late to pick up her child. I concluded the hygienist rushed through my daughter's cleaning service hence my daughter's gum injuries. I did report this to the office staff and they apologized but too much bad service were experienced by my entire family. Next, I received an invoice saying I owe them money and I tried calling their billing department but they were off on a Friday. The receptionist informed me that they will be back sometime next week but could not say which day and if I don't get a call back from them I will have to call back. I normally do not write reviews but it would be a disservice if I did not write this review. They need to shape up their customer service and live up to their name.

I've had nothing but bad experiences the last few years with the receptionists. They quoted me a cleaning and I told them I should be covered and they said I wasn't. So I had to go call my dental insurance to confirm that I am. I shouldn't have to go out of my way to do thier work. Secondly they are always mis scheduling appointments they called me to tell me my son is late for his appointment and I said no he is not I have your card right here with the date and time I will pull up with it right now and they just rescheduled him. That is very inconvenient. All of these years I haven't received a cleaning because of deception and now that I work in insurance I now know how it works I am very disappointed.

Dental work can often feel like an unpleasant experience. Possibly traumatic depending upon the work needed. Having a team of professionals that genuinely care about your needs and overall well-being will determine whether we choose to return or refer others to a service. The process in regards to the procedure I needed took longer than I would have liked. The beauty and purpose to that is the assurance on their end that everything is being done correctly. Hindsight is 20/20. There are not enough words to praise the experience that I had with Dr. Christine Navales. SHE IS THE BEST DENTIST. Her integrity, transparency, and extraordinary kindness reach above and beyond. Rita at the front desk is perfect for a first impression. She is strong, confident, and direct. Attributes attached to sincere kindness and attention to detail. Payments can create intimidating and cautious feelings. Yasmine was very pleasant and honest. I observed her handle an invoice with integrity and a personal touch. Exemplifying a humble persona that provides explanations and assistance which are helpful and understandable. Last but definitely not least was the experience with each dental assistant. Fritz (Prince), Giselle, and Sabdi are truly God sent. It is their inviting personalities and attractive presence that encourage a future return. I highly recommend the team @ Smile Care Professionals!!!

As a patient for over 4yrs, us parents and young children we have had a really good experience every time except recently. One of the dental assistants needs done serious training so I voiced my concern and just requested to not be placed with that particular person. The unfortunate issue that will have us seek out another hygienist is that upon an appt for our 7yr old who is terrified of the dentist we waited for 20min to be seen. At this point I inquired about the wait time because I had an appt the day before which turned into 3 1/2hrs… not completely the office’s fault which I would have explained further to the young receptionist however she commenced to cut me off to state that it was a slow Dr that day. That was probably not something the office manager would have liked for her staff to say but I digress.
Once I inquired about the wait I was told they would bring her back shortly. They did call her within minute’s however the tech proceeded to shut the door and put her hand across as my daughter walked through and I attempted to follow. I was then told “she will be brought back alone” Excuse me? No she will not go back alone and I will be accompanying her AND I know the routine so I will stay out of the room when X-rays are taken. The young receptionist them said no this is the policy. I asked since when and she proceeded to tell me always. Well being that I have been a patient again for actually 5yrs as I just did the math, I told her and the tech at this point that just last year I went back with our daughter and every other time… then the receptionist went in to say that this pediatrician Dr does not allow parents in the room ??? Meanwhile the tech is asking my daughter if she wants to go back and take pictures.
Now for the record I did not feel that any shady business was going on however I’m sure plenty of parents that have trusted professionals with their children and then something happens outside of their sight did not “feel” like any shady business was going on either. I’m just sayin. If it’s important to you as a parent to be present for exams and such then Smile care Professionals (in this case not so professional) is probably not a good fit for you.

Excellent and professional care! My teeth were missing and broken and painful. They fixed all the problems and then made partials and gave me a smile again! I have told all my family to come here and would recommend Smilecare Professionals to everyone!

This is the worst place to go to for any dental work
I had a crown I was waiting for it took them 5 months to deliver and then still wasn’t put in properly to the point where now it’s infected I will never step foot in this place ever again don’t recommend!!!!

Dr. Novales is the best dental I’ve seen in Vegas. She’s very knowledgeable and kind. She takes the time to explain things and makes you feel comfortable. Everyone in her office from the office staff to the technicians are really nice. And god bless the dental hygienist, she is really great at her job and very sweet to talk to.

Not very happy with Dr. Ben, if he wants to be on his cell phone all the time, at least don't do it so that your patients can see you! Next said that the cleaning of my teeth would be $100.00 I called my insurance company and was told that 2 a year is paid and I still had one left. Had to wait a long time to see Dr. Ben. I will look for another dentist.

Where to begin. I never post reviews, if anything this is my first post ever. I have been working with them since September of 2021. Dr Ben, Ruby and Yasmín have been nothing short extraordinary. Yasmín was nice, caring and understanding, made sure that I had different options to be able to pay in order to get what I needed. Dr Ben and Ruby as well were very patient, caring but most of all helpful. I have gone to other dentist to help with the problem that I was having but none went above and beyond like Smilecare Profs and their amazing staff to make sure I was taken care of! I would recommend them to anyone who needs anything done.

I came in recently with a decayed tooth that had split in half. Dr. Abrahams told me that it was around 50/50 we could save it with a root canal and crown. Due to his skill and hard work, my tooth was saved. Dr. Abrahams is a pure natural at his craft and I highly recommend seeing him at this office for your dental needs.

My first visit was exceptional! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The office is clean and Dr.Tran and hiss assistant Fritz was really nice, calming and very helpful.

They made sure I was comfortable and was guiding me throughout the whole process for my dental treatment.

Next thing I know, my wife & daughter exit the office telling me how rude they were. There are plenty of options available for dentists. Do yourself a favor and escape this drama filled office!!!!!

I made an appointment with Dr Wilson as he is in my plan. Show up for the appointment, get x-rays, picture, looked at for plan of care, then money lady comes in...tells me my insurance is out of network. My insurance is not out of network, I have to pay up front. Then this dentist is out of network and all other dentist only work part time and are never there. Why make the appointment? They stated they never heard of my plan, BCBS access dental. It went downhill from there.
Most of the doctors are listed on my plan.

Wait wait and wait. This place has had me wait for HOURS every appt Ive had. Not even the common courtesy to reschedule. 3 strike.Today I walked out. Not acceptable. You want your patients to be on time you should have the same courtesy. You were watching training videos for a good 45 minutes while your patients waited. Train your people on your time not your patients. Shame on you people milking the system
