I had to take a break right after I started because of pressing issues and I had to prioritize what wasn’t right for me and that lead me back to Akers Chiropractic. I found myself struggling worst than before with my back and body pain all at once and the first day back I was feeling like I could walk and move around better again! I truly feel my best after my visits… yes, I do get a burst of adrenaline and have to remember that my back especially is not as strong as I feel but it does make my daily routine with family members much more manageable and with every visit I appreciate the staff, they are always welcoming and supportive. Having my back positioned properly is an amazing feeling and I now make sure I get my time in to work on me so I can feel better to take care of my family!

Simply being honest but after 3 visits here I am not getting quality care. The staff is all very friendly however I have seen two chiropractors here that have been unable to help me. X-rays of my lower back were taken here and it took over 2 weeks to process. I returned once after the X-rays were still being processed and the chiropractor wouldn't adjust my back because of the lack of X-rays but they still charged me full price for the visit. Once the X-rays were in the chiropractors hand, she did little to address the diagnosis and to my surprise didn't even adjust my lower back yet again. The offices have these bizzare out of place pictures of random people from decades ago and present an unprofessional environment that one wouldn't expect to see at a doctors office. Ontop of that you are forced to watch dated brainwashing videos about chiropractor care...yeah I know what chiropractic care is been receiving it for over 20 years. My time is valuable if you value your time and money, trust me and seek care elsewhere.

tldr; SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE.They didn't mention that Dr Akers is gone from back surgery. My 2pm appointment took until 4:30 pm to see Dr. Cook, for literally 2 minutes, just to be told that she can't adjust my neck or any other part of my body. I told the front desk what happened and they just shrugged and still charged me $95. This was my worst chiropractic experience I have ever had in over 20 years of getting adjustments from different doctors at different offices.

I decided to try this place because Dr. Akers has mostly good reviews. It was not until I was there for my appointment with him that I heard them tell another patient he was gone for the foreseeable future from back surgery.

So I almost left after hearing that but they assured me that Dr. Cook was a good chiropractor and I was in good hands.

There are so many annoying things about this place but here are a few. After waiting in the waiting room for almost an hour then they literally made me watch a video about "what chiropractic work is." I had to sit there and wait then they eventually came back in and asked me all the questions I had already answered on the forms.

Dr. Cook is nice but she is very small and timid with her adjusting style. She barley moved my neck and said she couldn't adjust it. Then she used an electric activator on my back for less than two mins, which not only didn't feel good but it was actually painful with how hard it was on and how she was using it on my spine and then she was DONE.

Hello. I’ve only gone here four times now and let me tell you the difference it’s already made in my life. I suffer with degenerative disc disease and was walking bent over and in a lot of pain. In only four visits I have been able to walk taller and stand up straighter than I have in a very long time. Dr Akers was rather rude and always cut be off when was trying to talk to him about my situation . He didn't crack my back or neck at all and he did NOT try twice when he didn't crack my neck or back the first time that's being lazy and not giving the patient what they are thee for.
I gave two stars instead of one because the staff is amazing I just wish Dr Akers was too but sadly that's not the case in my situation.

What a great staff! Facility is clean with equipment I haven't seen in other Chiro offices. I came in to see Dr. Akers for some lower back pain. I am a full-time nursing student and stay at home mom so needless to say that my back was in pretty bad shape from lifting kids and sitting for extended periods of time at a desk. Dr. Akers was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing and I immediately felt comfortable. After my first visit, I instantly felt relief. I was experiencing extreme sciatic nerve pain out of the blue. I googled chiropractors near my doctors office, Dr Akers came up.
