Received allergy shots on Monday 4/20/26. Had an allergic reaction. My entire right arm turned red and swollen and extremely itchy. Called and left a message for nurse to call me back. Never called back. The next day I called back and nurse said that she would check with Dr and call me back shortly. Four days later never heard back. No advice was given to alleviate my condition. Cancelled next appointment. Very disappointed.

Let me start with the women that were at the front desk today were absolutely amazing. I had great conversations with the receptionist and she was so sweet.
I have been waiting to see an allergist for quite a while now and upon walking in, the doctor asked me why I was there. I started to talk. He interrupted me and basically just told me he was just gonna do his checklist instead so that I didn't confuse him. He continued to tell me things that I already knew. He continued on to give me information about issues that I wasn't even having or was not even there to be seen for. He did not listen to any reason why I was there. I was so shocked at the way that he handled the whole appointment. He was rude. He did not listen at all, by the end of the appointment I gave up, denied treatment that he was offering and stopped talking.
He is literally the worst doctor I've ever seen in my whole life. It was Doctor Nguyen and I do not recommend seeing him.
When I went to leave the scheduling desk asked if they could schedule me for one to two months. I let her know that I would not be coming back there to see them because he was such a horrible experience. She was very sweet and caring about the whole situation as I broke down in tears because he wasted my time and was no help at all. She offered solutions and handled the situation amazingly but in the end, I will not be returning there.

Dr Miyake is an excellent doctor. He really took time to find me the medicine that will take my insurance. He answered all my questions and I don’t feel rushed. He’s very caring. The staff from the front desk to the physician assistant up to the scheduling were all very nice and friendly. My experience in this office is A+.

My son used to see Dr. McKnight. He was so thorough, kind and knowledgeable. Since Dr. McKnight retired, the level of care for my son has declined tremendously. My husband just took my son to an appt today and the Nurse Practitioner, not a doctor, went over the same things she did during our last visit with her. We KNOW exactly what our child is allergic to and we were supposed to schedule to start introducing him to oral test. We've had 3 appts and we have no food plan until the NP's recommendation today for oral test. We've spend several co-pays already up to $400 for her to tell us the same thing we've known only to say we can schedule the oral test in January. Why should we be paying the same co-pays to see an NP?
We were so excited for my son to have this appointment today; only to be greatly disappointed for the last time.
We will not be returning.

Our pediatrician referred our child for allergy tests. We REQUESTED allergy tests and the doctor assessed our child and said she doesn’t need allergy tests. We WANT TO KNOW ABOUT OUR CHILD and the doctor DID NOT DO HIS JOB AND WHAT HE WAS REFERRED FOR. If our pediatrician did not think or want our child to have allergy tests completed, she wouldn’t have made the referral. The doctor simply made an assessment based on responses to questions about food allergies and made an assumption that if she had no food allergies or reactions, she could not possibly have ANY allergies. Either he assumed that or didn’t care to probe about any possible triggers there would be for allergic reactions other than food. We did not request an assessment. We asked for our child to be tested for allergies and we paid $50 copay for absolutely nothing. This complaint will be going to the medical board.

I have been a patient of Allergy Partners of Nevada for close to two years and have had the most excellent care. I enjoy going to the office as the staff members are friendly and professional. I am happy to be under the care of Meredith Speight who is very caring, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I truly feel comfortable by saying under Meredith's care and her recommendations, she has helped greatly with my allergies and breathing issues and made my life a lot easier.

Sean McKnight was an exceptional doctor who genuinely listened, took thorough notes, communicated clearly, and developed a comprehensive plan for our son, who has severe food allergies. Unfortunately, since his retirement, our experience has drastically declined.
Dr. Nguyen, in particular, was incredibly condescending and dismissive. During our visit, he repeatedly asked the same questions about our son’s allergies, making my wife so upset that she was brought to tears. Despite our clear experience showing that our son’s symptoms dramatically improved when my wife eliminated allergens from her diet while nursing, Dr. Nguyen stubbornly insisted that nursing has no impact.
His unwillingness to acknowledge our reality and his inability to provide any helpful guidance or future care plan for our son were deeply frustrating. A doctor with such a lack of empathy and professionalism should not be practicing medicine. It’s disheartening to see what has become of this practice after Dr. McKnight’s departure, and I genuinely feel sorry for other patients facing similar experiences.
We will not be returning.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Father

This is one of the best doctors office I've been to in a while. The staff is friendly the waiting room is spacious for its size. The wait time alone even when they are busy is not "horrible" i waited I believe 10 minutes past my appointment one time only. I'll take that over an hour at my neurologist!
The doctors are super friendly and explain everything with me. Even the notes for the visit. They go over everything and make sure I understand everything before walking me to check out. Not just telling me where to go. I highly recommend this office i wish I found them earlier!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
We've taken an extremely long route to find Dr. McKnight and never would have found our way to him without Dr. Lowe! Henderson feels sooo far from NW Las Vegas and we never would have considered on our own, but today was absolutely worthwhile!
2023 was awful for our son and this year has been worse than I actually remembered... until it was all on paper. We truly NEEDED Dr. McKnight years ago!
Thank you for taking the time to get our son's medical history, listening to our concerns, and not writing us off before getting started! Thank you for diving right in and recognizing maybe we should have been digging deeper a whole lot sooner! Thank you for looking at multiple angles! Thank you for being kind and compassionate! It has been a long road and I literally cried tears of joy! Sorry about that! We feel heard!
We are super grateful for Dr. McKnight and thank you ALL for not rushing us out of the office!
We went straight to SNHD for recommended vaccine and they weren't happy about it. Lol They said we were supposed to make an appointment and that would take 4-6 weeks. We did get through 4 people and were able to get the vaccine to proceed in a timely manner, but just an FYI if anyone else has issues down the road.
We have seen two other allergists/immunologists locally (2 years at each office)...and another in Houston. We are just getting started with Dr. McKnight, but will vouch that he is worth the referral and 5 month wait! Who knows what tests will show, but we absolutely feel like we are making headway!
Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. No complaints, whatsoever. We weren't able to get Nasacort AQ as it has been discontinued as of 11/2023. I will need to follow up on how to administer the new formula, but sooo minor!
Thanks again...for taking us on and helping us get to the root cause! Much appreciated!!!

My son and I have been customers here for 5 years and every time we come for our shots it’s full of attitude and down talking. I have never had an over due or late payment but they whine about a bill that’s less than $10.00. Do Not Come here this place treats you like a number that is only here to pay bills and get out. I am disappointed with the treatment and lack of respect for paying customers.

ZERO stars.
I consider this a no-call no show on part of the physician.
Arrived early for a 10:30 am appt. Was not served at 10:55am and double checked that my appointment was indeed 10:30am (reception confirmed accuracy) waited until 11:30am with ZERO
acknowledgment that office was behind schedule.
UNACCEPTABLE.
I informed the reception I had been waiting for an hour beyond my scheduled time and left without any apology or service.
Do NOT support this office. Huge waste of time and energy.
POST REPLY from business.
I requested a call back when I left the office and BEFORE I left my review. You did not respond to my request. I am doubling down on my efforts. YOUR SERVICE IS SEVERLY LACKING INTEGRITY.
Your reply message lacks genuine care. If you cared, your response would have been immediate as requested.
UNACCEPTABLE again.

Dr. McKnight is great! He listened and took his time. My son likes him. I can't say the same for some of the staff. I've been trying to get an answer from Carmen for weeks now in regards to payment and what exactly it's covering. Her tone immediately changed on the phone with me when I asked if I could do payment plans for the Large sum of money they need for the allergy medicine. All of a sudden she was speaking to me like she was wasting her time with me. Meanwhile I have called and left several messages in with no calls back, and it's delaying my son starting his treatment. It's sad when the Provider is Wonderful and the Staff is Terrible. It can make or break an entire experience.

DO NOT GO HERE
First of all the off visit is very expensive second they never and I mean NEVER answer the phone. They only call you back. In this case they never did after my initial consult. I have left 4 messages in a month and no call back. It took me months to get in for them to never call me back for follow appointment. What a complete waste of money. I wasted $223 for them to never call me back. Plus the Dr. Needs to go back to school or maybe do some continuing education so he can get with the times

I had originally left the following review on Dr. Miyake's personal google review page. I am adding it below as well as an update from my last visit:
"I had my first visit/consultation with Dr. Miyake and I found him to be a breath of fresh air. He was polite, introduced himself, shook my hand, spent adequate time getting to know me, and was very thorough. (One would think these are common attributes in healthcare professionals but I have been surprised and appalled at the amount of Drs who burst into rooms, no introduction and spend less than 5 minutes with you) Based upon our conversation, I truly believe he will leave no stone unturned in helping me get to the root issues I am having. I look forward to continuing this journey with Dr. Miyake as my allergist."
Follow up review: I had my second visit with Dr. Miyake and everything still stands true. Dr. Miyake spends the most time listening to and addressing my concerns than any other Dr. I have encountered (besides 1 other) and I have seen A LOT of Drs. I find Dr. Miyake to be very genuine and thorough. It is very rare to find a Dr. who actually cares or at least seems like they care and I truly believ Dr. Miyake is invested in his patients. Although we could not necessarily get to the root issues for me personally, he made wonderful suggestions for my further treatment. I also wanted to add that the receptionistist have been nothing but very friendly. Overall a really wonderful experience. Their automated system for appointment reminders is also top notch. I prefere more communication than less and Allergy Partners of NV deliver. Thank you.

No one answers the phone. We called several times and left messages but no one call back. Dr ordered lab tests for my son. I and my husband called the office several times to discuss the results. No one cares about it. So disappointed. We are both physicians and didn’t see that anywhere! No responsibility for patients.

The doctors are okay, the front desk is friendly as are the girls who give shots. My big issue is the inconsistent hours. They routinely close early because they don’t have a doctor in the office. This is not emailed to current patients and not normally posted online. If you are coming here for shots expect to often get turned away. This literally just happened again to me today and this sign is the only communication which does not help considering it’s a 30 minute drive for me to get here.

The only complaint I have is how hard it is to make an appointment sometimes as they are booked out months in advance, so be prepared for that! And the waiting time is a little long. I know that is just because they are very busy! Dr. McKnight is amazing. I felt so heard talking to him. He addressed every one of my questions and concerns and spent a lot of time with me to discuss every aspect of my treatment. We made a solid plan together and he walked me through every step. He was so patient and thorough. I’ve had so many doctors that seem to rush me but Dr. McKnight takes time to listen.

After waiting TWO MONTHS for this appointment, I was called a week before and told, "sorry, we do not accept your insurance." Completely and utterly unacceptable that this was not identified as an issue WHEN THE APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED. I've been suffering through allergies of an unknown origin, all the while thinking that this appointment was my light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately, at this doctors office, that light I saw was actually the stupidity train, coming to steamroll me yet again because of medical staff incompetence.

Dr. McKnight is AMAZING! I have suffered from allergies all my life, but I thought taking my Zyrtec was enough until COVID19 hit! I got bilateral pneumonia and chest tightness with reactive airway for months after. I had to see a pulmonologist for the first time, and he did some testing. He believed my allergies were not under control and they caused me to have COVID19 complications. As soon as I started feeling better, I made an appointment with Dr. McKnight. I wish I would've done it sooner! He is so thorough and smart. He had allergies as a child and had to get allergy shots (allergy immunotherapy) for years. Therefore, he's very understanding. He puts everything he suggests in writing for you to take home. It's been a long time since I've met a healthcare provider who provides such quality service. I teach at a local nursing school, so I like asking questions. I want to understand why a treatment is beneficial and all options. Dr. McKnight always answered my questions, provided all options, and allowed me to make an educated and informed decision. He also gave me the most detailed explanation of how I should begin to exercise again because after COVID19, I kept getting a tight chest with exercise. I monitor my heart rate now, thanks to Dr. McKnight. I loved Dr. McKnight's office so much, I brought two of my kids who suffer from allergies to see him, too. Below are two pictures of my kids getting allergy testing. (Yes, my son has a ton of allergies.) They didn't complain at all. We can't wait to get started on our allergy shots (allergy immunotherapy), so our family can get our allergies under control.
The staff at the Henderson location are really nice. Dr. McKnight is the best physician for allergies, asthma, and immunology. Warning: he's so good, it may take you 3 months to get an appointment to see him, but he's worth it!

Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff, always on time for appointments, and the system they have for allergy shots is incredibly convenient!
Several years later, I have to update to say that it has become near impossible to get in touch and make an appointment for shots - due to Covid, you have to schedule a time. Totally understandable. However, every time I call, I have to leave a message and I have not had any of my 7 messages returned. I haven't received shots in months because it is such a hassle to get in touch with the immunotherapy office.

If you have Medicaid, I want to save you a trip. They won’t accept you as a patient. Don’t even bother. Of course this info isn’t anywhere on the website or even mentioned by any of the staff I spoke to before the visit. This is my sons secondary insurance and we have never had a doctor not accept us before. If they weren’t contracted they would just bill us whatever the primary didn’t cover. Not these people. I don’t blame the office staff...they were nice enough. My son has a strict feeding schedule that takes a lot of time to tweak for doctors appointments. We had to wait for almost two months for this appointment only to be turned away at the door. A note on the website...maybe even the forms would be nice. Also advising referring doctors so they can make a note not refer their Medicaid patients could have helped in our situation.

We didn’t even see the doctor. Front desk staff was very rude and condescending. We were not told to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork.
However, we did arrive at the front desk 8 minutes early, and were not even acknowledged by the man at the desk. I guess we were not the right clientele for this office. Instead he ignored us, until I asked if it was the right office, then he dismissively told us to wait. We sat and waited, then went back up to the front desk, where we spoke to someone else who gave us a bunch of paperwork to fill. After 20 minutes, she said, “well the doctor can’t see you, as the paperwork is not complete”. Needless to say we left.
I’m sure the doctors are quite nice, but the front staff needs more training when it comes to diversity, (maybe) and bedside manners.
We will certainly never go back there!

I tried to make an appointment for my two daughters and the guy who answered the phone said I can't do a back to back appointment because it is against their policy. I have to go there for the first appointment at 10:30 and come back at 2:30 for the second one. I told him that is impossible because I live far from the office and he suggested me to wait 4 hours there with my two kids. That is ridiculous!!! When I ask to speak to a supervisor or someone else, he hang up on me. Also, I called today and first time patient appointment availability is only for May. I don't know anything about the doctors but their front desk employee sucks!!!
Update: I called the office again and talked to Rachel who was able to explain me the reasons why they can not do a back to back appointment which for me still not good reasons but I guess I have to accept that.

STAY AWAY!!!
Front desk are the worst people!
I came in and first thing front desk tells that I have 15 minutes to fill paperwork. Rude person. But oh well I came in 15 minutes early. They gave me a lot of papers with questions- “do I have a carpet? what bed I sleep on? what kind of heater and AC? etc
It took me forever to read through it. Older lady came to me once to check how far I am. Again very rude. And minute later the other girl SENDS ME HOME. I was doing paper for 45 minutes for nothing. This is my third language and it might take me a little longer than anyone else. But this place don’t care! What language you speak!!
I was judge the way I speak, dressed(comfy clothes) and made it obvious!
I was at urgent care the same day. Took me 5 minutes to get in with a lot of papers.
But this place is ridiculous. They should send those papers to fill out at home!
Sometimes front desk will let you fill up paperwork while waiting for doctor but it’s first time that someone handles it this way and sends me home! They just said your times up you can’t get in!! When I asked them why they didn’t send these papers to me so I could do this at home. She said they ask everyone to come in 30 minutes early. LIES!! No one told me. I came in 15 minutes early and spend 45 minutes of my life for nothing!!

Both doctors at Allergy Partners really care about your health and not the almighty dollar. If I have to wait I know it's because they both will spend as much time with you as they see fit and are spending more time than they thought with a patient, so while waiting I know I won't be rushed when I am talking to the doctor too. I have never been disappointed at Allergy Partners and I recommend them to all my friends and family. Two of the 'good guys' in town!

He was late, over 40 min I had to wait room. First visit spent maybe 10 min at the most. I was charged for this visit instead of it being hadled with my insurance. I have never paid more than my copay of 12.00 but they charged me over 100 w/ referral. Doctor may be good, but he needs a refresher. He said I was using nasal spray too deep. I have never used nasal spray. I told him I had a prescription but never used it. He said my nasal passages were swollen due to incorrect usage of nose spray, AGAIN I have never used nose spray. Waste of time, also I have to wait 3 months for an allergy appt. if they were doing their job I could have had it preapproved via my insurance that day and been feeling better. Not going back.
