I just moved to Nevada a week ago and got a recommendation on a dentist from my brother who has lived in Anthem for the last 20 years. When I went to Anthem Hills Dental last week for my first appointment it was a great experience. I knew when I walked in there was a great vibe to the office and staff. Megan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with scheduling of appointments and answering any questions. Then I went to the back of the office for first appointment and Jaylee was wonderful to work with as she took X-rays and pictures of my teeth and we had a great conversation. Then Dr. Wilson came in and was very friendly and did a thorough evaluation of my teeth and gave me his recommendation. I was very impressed with the quality of care and scheduled my next appointment to have work done on my teeth. I’m looking forward to making Anthem Dental my new dentist.

I visited this clinic today to get a composite filling for a single tooth. Before the procedure began, I asked if they also offered porcelain veneers—something I’m interested in for the future. They tried to upsell me on a $30,000 veneer package and claimed that the composite filling I wanted wasn't an option—insisting that porcelain veneers were the only way to go. After I insisted—explaining that I’d had this done twice before and just wanted to fix that one specific tooth—the dentist reluctantly agreed, rolling his eyes. Throughout the procedure, he complained that he doesn't usually do this kind of work and dislikes spending time on anything other than porcelain veneers; I felt completely disrespected while he was working on me. When I looked in the mirror after the treatment, I wasn't happy with the result; it felt uncomfortable and bulky, touching my gums and irritating my tongue. I told him this, but he simply refused to fix it, saying, "That's how it is, and it can't be adjusted." I left feeling dissatisfied—all because he wanted to sell me that $30,000 veneer package and didn't want to put in the effort to fix the tooth properly just because it was a cheaper procedure and “he is wasting his time”. After I left, they tried to charge me nearly $600, but I showed them a screenshot from their website listing $19 for an exam and $84 for a composite filling on a single tooth. They corrected the charge immediately after that. It is truly outrageous to try to extract money from a patient and treat them with such disrespect. I felt so uncomfortable and I left feeling sad and dissatisfied, and now I’m stuck with a tooth that is bothering me.

Dr. Wilson has been my dentist for over 10 years. I could spew out all the superlatives, but let’s just say that I’ve changed insurance carriers at least 4 times over the last decade and I ALWAYS make sure Anthem Hills Dental and/or Dr. Wilson is in the network of the plan I choose. I do the same for my medical PCP/general practitioner, but over that same period I’ve had 3 different doctors. So I’m not afraid to change my medical professionals, but I have never had a reason to do so with Anthem Hills Dental, Dr. Wilson and his awesome staff. Recently, I broke a veneer over the weekend and texted him for advice. This is regarding my recent visit to the dentist. Excellent. The personnel; doctor (Dr. Le), dental hygienist and staff, are all excellent. They're professional, capable, thorough and markedly pleasant to deal with. The place is spotlessly clean, airy and well lit.
Now the part that people might find truly unusual - the experience is more like a health SPA: neck pillow, sunglasses, warm hand/face towel, perfect music, pain-free, etc. I almost fell asleep a number of times during the cleaning.
Caveat emptor (full disclosure) : Under the watch and care of such excellent dentists (Dr. Le, et al.) and their staffs, I have managed to keep my teeth and gums in fairly good shape over the years. There was no drilling or pulling or shots, etc. used during my visit. If there had been then I'm sure I still would have had an overall great experience but this I cannot state with first-hand knowledge, so keep this in mind should you make your own appointment. Lastly, "thank you" to Anthem Dental, Dr. Le and her staff.

I first went into Anthem Hills Dental last week. As a first time patient, I was given the works. X-rays, teeth and gum inspection, and finally a good old fashion fluoride rinse. Unfortunately, I had a few cavities that needed some attention. Fortunately that meant I got to go back the following week. All of my scheduling needs were handled by their lovely front desk held down by Sabrina. She’s very friendly and has a cool pet gecko! Dr. Le was my dental provider and she is great. Friendly, answered all my questions, gave great care, and comes stocked full of jokes to lighten the mood. All around great dental practice and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new mouth pit stop.

I would put this dental practice up against any in the country!! I’ve been going here for years and I am extremely hard to please when it comes to dentistry… But these folks know what they’re doing! Dr. Wilson is thorough, patient, and professional. Heidi is very good at explaining everything and always has a pleasant smile on her face. The dental hygienist does An incredible job. Whether you have a big procedure to be done or just a simple cleaning ; make sure you go see Michael. I have sent so many of my friends to him & they love him & his staff. When you walk in they welcome you like it’s their home . Afterwards you get water , cookies & if you golf a sleeve of ProV1 golf balls. They take all insurance, if you need a Dentist in Vegas he is your guy for sure .

It was positive in the beginning. The staff was very courteous and kind. The dentist was outstanding and explaining the work that I needed done but in the end I felt pressured to make a decision and to make a payment right away I also think that the atmosphere in the dentist office was outstanding. "We need to replace your fillings"

"You need an expensive deep cleaning"

"And we WILL NOT clean your teeth. Only the deep cleaning that cost's thousands of dollars" Seriously, they refused to clean my teeth. I guess insurance doesn't reimburse much on that.

The tragic thing is, my friend visited this same dentist the day after me and received the same sales pitch.

So if you are looking for expensive suggestions, or really like dealing with timeshare and used car salesmen, then this is the place for you!!!
