I originally went here for my annual eye exam, and the Dr was great. I then went here when I woke up with swollen tear ducts and the Dr again was amazing. He prescribed what he needed and was very patient in listening to my concerns!

The customer service here is always great! Sometimes the optometrist seems rushed and you have to re-ask questions a few times, but I have never felt dismissed. Everyone is always super friendly and I never dread having to call the office. The ladies at the front desk are always great about giving input on how frames fit your face too! I've been going here for years and have never had an experience that left me considering going to a new optometrist.

By far the best eye exam I had ever it’s been over four years, but the last two eye Exams that I had don’t quite add up to the care that I got from the moment I walked in the door until the moment I walked out of the door from the front desk to the young lady that did the exam before the doctor came in

Fantastic doctor. He was able to figure out my dry eye situation that my primary care doctor and optometrist couldn't figure out. I was able to get glasses and sunglasses for a super reasonable price. Gloria was able to rush my order as I was going out of the country for a few months. Way better than Pearle vision. The doctor was not professional during a partial of the eye exam for my kids. My older daughter did not want to wear glasses and said it out loud. I tried to check in on my other daughter during her exam he came in basically telling me to leave her alone because I needed to address the issue with my older daughter.Then the doctor came in basically telling me that I needed to have her wear glasses. Stating that I was being a lazy parent, by not enforcing her to wear them. I said that this was a conversation I was going to have at home with her not in a doctor's office and a bunch of people can hear me. Then they dialted her eyes and told her it wouldn't hurt. She cried for about 20 minutes and stated that it hurt her eyes.

This was not a good experience at all. When I went to get my vision exam their machines kept failing and malfunctioning, and kept making side comments about maybe needing to send me somewhere else to do my exam (they didnt), they rushed through my vision exam and did not explain a single thing that was going on. I was basically brushed off with a "your vision is just not that great," because I was struggling to see the letters but to rush me out they just gave me whatever prescription they could. Then they said they would call me back in a week to see how the contacts were doing (they didn't, I had to call them several times instead). Then I went to pick up my prescription and they didnt even explain what types of contacts I got. Honestly the walmart vision center was far better in comparison. The staff is nice, but nice and efficient are not the same thing.

The service was fast and efficient. The ladies in the office are very nice. The older doctor is snappy and condescending to his staff, which is a turnoff. The prices for frames & lenses are high and they don't have much to choose from that's covered by insurance. I bought glasses elsewhere.

I've been going to Buena vision for going on 3 or 4 years. Up until today Dr.Hernandez is fine. Today was a disappointment for him to be so loud about my vision issues outside the doctor room. His office manager is real mean. She didn't explain what frame's my insurance cover.. I had to ask her everything. Everything I asked her when I was picking out a frame was a dead tone rush vibe. I was cool until the office manager was the one I got to write the frame order up. The other ladies working are nice and ask questions.

I've been coming to Buena Vision for over 5 years. Dr. Hernandez and his staff have been outstanding! He makes you feel comfortable and explains in detail the eye issues I'm dealing with. I have a astigmatism in both eyes and he helped fit me with specialized contact lenses. My wife and daughter also come here and love it! Best clinical support staff in town!

I came here with high hopes to get referral for a much needed surgery, instead what I got was extra attitude, extra rudeness, lack of understanding, and absolutely no compassion for my unique situation!!! The doctor diagnosed my child with no exam told me his eyes were fine, if that was indeed the case why can’t he see good why couldn’t he read the letters and why did he have to leave crying such a shame would not recommend to anyone for any service just pathetic

when i went here for an eye exam, i was taken into the dark room where you look at the house in distance and the blow in your eye thing. and during switches from one machine to the other, i see one of the workers (the young hispanic one with the glasses; usually the one who helps w your contacts) in the doorway telling his other coworker about the birthmark on my back. i saw him point and laugh with her quietly. my birthmark is pretty medium sized, very noticeable while i wore my thin strapped romper.

it was overall just very childish and unprofessional to talk about your clients like this. stopped going here for that reason. i was always insecure about my birthmark and now i have another reason to be. i may be blind but i'm not blind enough to see you giggling w your coworker about an insecurity of mine.

Quick and thorough exam,the Dr is very smart and explains everything. Great selection of under $100 frames and designer frames ( snagged a pair of oakleys for $80 after insurance) All around amazing experience from start of the exam until I placed the order for my new glasses.
