Learn from me, Ladies. One day I was perfectly fine and then I wasn't two minutes later. I became nauseous and sweaty. Little did I know that I was having a heart attack. I did nothing for a couple of hours because I just didn't know. Finally, I felt pain in my RIGHT shoulder and collar bone and asked my husband to take me to Mountainview Hospital which was not the closest hospital - another dumb move. But luckily, Dr. Tanvir Ahmad, a Cardiac Interventionist, was on call that Tuesday night. I was rushed into surgery where three stents were placed. My heart was severely damaged due to my waiting so long to realize I was having a heart attack.

I was in the hospital for five days. I asked Dr. Ahmad if he would become my Cardiologist. I have been under his care since 2022 and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I have absolute faith in him. His staff are professional and lovely. Dr. Ahmad keeps close tabs on me. If I had to have a heart attack, I'm glad it was on a Tuesday, the night Dr. Ahmad was working.

Dr Ahmed was my assigned cardiologist during Open Heart Surgery last year. He was so good I asked him to be my permanent cardiologist. His no-nonsense, tell it like it is, frank demeanor are exactly what I need to make the necessary changes in my life and survive.
