In early August 2026 when I awakened I felt that something was very terribly medically wrong with me. I dashed into the S. Durango Urgent Care clinic which is just a very short drive from my home. Those ladies and a gentleman took such very good care of me. I felt safe and cared for. Internally I was somewhat hysterical. They sensed that too and understood how to put me at ease after my exam. I also went back the following day to thank them for their care. They're five star in my book!

I had another excellent experience at CareNow Urgent Care today and wanted to recognize the team for the outstanding service I received.

From the moment I arrived, Christine greeted me with kindness and professionalism. She made the check-in process easy and helped put me at ease right away. The wait time was also very reasonable, which is always appreciated when you’re not feeling your best.

I was then seen by Christa Dixon, who took my vitals and carefully listened as I explained everything that was going on. She was professional, personable, and genuinely made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She also has a great sense of humor, which made an urgent care visit much more pleasant!

I was also seen by Uiana Sabas, who was equally kind, knowledgeable, and professional. She listened to my concerns, evaluated my symptoms, and was able to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan efficiently while still making sure I felt heard and cared for.

I have visited this CareNow location a few times over the years for different urgent medical needs, and one thing has remained consistent: the staff is always professional, efficient, welcoming, and compassionate. I have always received great medical care along with excellent customer service.

We had to wait for an XRay tech to arrive and she made sure we were comfortable and brought us chips and water and even provided a cellphone charger for my daughter. This place is a joke, I only chose to go because it was the closest quick care to the pharmacy and I thought with zero wait I’d be in and out. Instead of seeing patients they chose to be loud and obnoxious and waste your time screwing around. They must think the doors and walls are sound proof but they aren’t. They make it obvious they don’t care about patient care by walking in still laughing and spending all of 5 seconds in the room. Had they just seen us right away instead of screwing around we could have gotten in and out and the prescriptions tonight but that won’t be happening. I keep going back to this Urgent Care not just because of the convenience of drive, but the service that they provide. My recent visit was probably I would say the best experience. I also must say the best crew. NP Kintana is very knowledgeable and informative. She is very patient and ready to listen regarding your health concerns. She definitely gave what I really need for my inflammation treatment. Kintana should be the permanent doc/NP at this location. She us truly the best. Of course I wouldn't forget Ciana, who gave me the injection shot. Very gentle, kind and informative as well. She made sure that I'm very comfortable before I took a shot. This Care Now facility has been the best one I’ve come to. I was greeted by Tanya as soon as I walked in. She was pleasant and offered to help me if I had any difficulty with the tablet. Krista, the nurse had a wonderful
personality and told me that they would do everything to make me feel better. Michael Stewart (PA) was also very kind and made me feel less anxious. He explained my condition and asked me what antibiotic would work for me since I have many allergies. This tells me that he really took the time to review my allergies and medication.
The last person I spoke to was the manager (forgot her name) who was also very personable. I spoke to her to commend the staff and their compassion!!!

Fixed my issue. Should maybe hire more staff so that there isn’t such a long wait in between patients. Patients who are in pain waiting that long could result in worsening symptoms and shows lack of empathy. My first time at CareNow at 7040 S Durango was the best visit at any urgent care I ever went to, hands down.
The front desk: Christine and Cyrus were warm and welcoming. They helped me register with the kiosk, that was new for me.
The assistant who took my vitals also took good notes, because the provider was well informed as to why I was there. She was clear and concise and told me what I had and what she prescribed. The end.
I think my total time there was less than 30 minutes.
The office is nice and clean and easy on the eye. I was very impressed!! Thank you all❤️

Don't listen to the negative reviews! This is easily the best urgent care I’ve been to in years. I went in on a Thursday around 1:00 PM with a painful pinched nerve and back pain, and my entire visit took less than an hour! I truly got the "dream team."

Christine at the front desk gave me a very warm welcome and a smile, getting me checked in right away and explaining the paperwork perfectly. She was so sweet!

Nurse Jackie assessed me next and she was just amazing. She gave me my liquid medication and my back injection. (she was so incredibly light-handed that I didn't even feel the shot!)

Finally, my Nurse Practitioner, Kintana, was equally wonderful. She has such a warm spirit and took the time to explain everything to me clearly and made sure I understood my recovery plan and the red flags to look out for.

Overall, I had the best group of women looking after me today. I felt completely seen, heard, and taken care of. They are all absolutely meant to do the jobs they have. If anyone needs care, I highly recommend coming in on Thursday at 1:00 PM to copy my visit!

I want to express sincere gratitude for Christa Dixon, Medical Assistant at CareNow Urgent Care.

From the beginning of my visit, she created a calm and supportive environment for both me and my sister during a stressful medical situation. She listened with attention and acted as a strong patient advocate throughout my care.

She supported timely diagnostic imaging and helped ensure X-rays were completed during the visit, even with limited time before closing. This included coordination to bring an X-ray technician on site so imaging could be completed without delay.

During the wait, she checked on my condition multiple times. She monitored pain and swelling and provided ice packs on several occasions, which helped with symptom control while I waited for evaluation.

Her attention continued during discharge. Due to difficulty bearing weight, she ensured I left with proper mobility support, including crutches in addition to a walking shoe. This focus helped reduce risk of further injury and improved safety.
She also coordinated access to imaging results after hours so I would not need to return the following day due to limited mobility. This step showed awareness of patient limitations and practical barriers to care.

X-rays of the left foot showed soft tissue swelling with no fracture or acute bony abnormality identified.

At every point, she showed consistent professionalism, medical awareness, and emotional care and sensitivity. I hope she is recognized and commended for the personal touch, compassion, and dedication she brought to my care experience.

Around 10:00 AM, I checked in online from home using my computer for the Quick Care service. Twenty minutes later—at approximately 10:20 AM—my husband and I arrived at the facility. We were able to complete the check-in process immediately; however, after being escorted to a private examination room, we waited for over 50 minutes, yet the doctor never appeared. Since the room was extremely cold, my husband and I asked a nurse how much longer the wait would be. The cold also made me feel the urge to use the restroom, so I stepped out to do so. However, the nurse responded by saying: "The doctor is still examining other patients, so we don't know exactly how much longer it will take. If you are cold, please feel free to return to the general waiting area to wait." About 20 minutes later, while we were waiting in the general area, another male patient—who appeared to have finished his examination—walked out. I followed him out and asked him what time he had arrived at the Quick Care facility. It turned out that this man had arrived at the Quick Care facility a full 40 minutes *after* we did.
Furthermore, his condition did not appear to require any particularly urgent treatment.
This raises the question: Why did he finish his visit before we did—even though we had checked in first, around 10:20 AM—and why were we left waiting in the examination room for another 30 minutes after that? By the time a nurse finally called me back in to say that the doctor was ready to see me, it was already past 12:00 PM. In other words, even though that patient arrived at the Quick Care facility more than 30 minutes after we did, why was his visit completed over an hour before ours? Does this not clearly constitute a case of us being neglected while waiting in the examination room?

Incidentally, while we were waiting in the general area, I asked the woman at the check-in desk if she had any idea how much longer we would have to wait. She replied, "Since this is a Quick Care facility, there is no way to know how many hours you might have to wait. You could potentially end up waiting for over 10 hours." Why would she say something like that?
For an ordinary patient, waiting for over 10 hours—especially in such cold conditions—would likely just lead to catching a cold or developing some other illness on top of their original ailment. I have no idea what makes this place "Quick Care." If it takes that long, I plan to go somewhere else next time. I definitely won’t be visiting this location in the future.

Went in on a Saturday evening for serious flu symptoms. I felt like the doctor wasn’t really listening to what I was explaining and gave me prescriptions for things I wasn’t too concerned about. I still took all the prescription medications but actually felt worse than before so I went back on Thursday. I checked in online and arrived 10 minutes before my arrival time. I had to wait over an hour to see the doctor for less than 5 minutes and she said I have bronchitis. Wish the initial diagnosis was done properly so I wouldn’t have wasted $100 on copay. This is the second time I went to this Urgent Care. The clinic is very clean and well kept. I was treated by the NP. She was very professional and personable. I saw her the first time as well and had a great experience. I was screened by her Medical Assistant Ciana. She was wonderful and took care of me with great care. I would definitely return in the future if needed.

My ear felt plugged and I was struggling to hear, so I went to CareNow Urgent Care. Nancy Diago, NP determined my ear had wax buildup and was causing my hearing loss. Jackie was able to flush the wax out of my ear like a champ. I am now able to hear good again. I had a pleasant experience and all the staff is very nice. I would highly recommend this facility. You can tell they really care about the patients, are super sweet, kindhearted, and knowledgeable.

Horrible place.
The receptionist was rude, not only to me but to another patient.
My child was refused service do to not having currnet insurance and couldn't pay upfront. They refused to bill me. Then proceeded gaslight me and say I refused payment so I cant be seen.
Which in fact not once did i refuse to pay the bill.... i jaut asked foenthe bill to be sent to me.
Then I asked for the closest hospital and the receptionist refused to give me any direction.
Mind you I am new to town and in the process of getting insurance.

I had to complete my physical, blood work, and titers for pre-employment. I did have to visit a few different locations, but the staff at each one were kind and helpful in directing me to the clinic that could finalize everything. This CareNow location ultimately got it all taken care of. The team was accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. Only giving a 1 star because that’s the lowest you can go! TERRIBLE! They’ll text you they’re ready for you and still make you wait another hour on top of it. Why tell someone it’s ready if it’s nowhere near ready? What a joke . Don’t trust the estimated time they give you , you’ll probably wait 1-2 hours over that.

Came in yesterday on a Saturday and had a pleasant experience. I checked in online before heading over. Joseph the MA on staff was very professional. He explained everything so I understood. I was having ear pain. The doctor came in promptly and took a look. Before walking out of the clinic my prescriptions were already at the pharmacy being filled. Will definitely use this location if needed again.
