I got prescribed the wrong medication for an ear infection. I called to try to get the correct one sent and they wanted me to come back in and start the whole process over including paying again. I asked for a return call from the manager and never heard back. CVS minute clinic is much more organized and efficient.

I think Iβm learning that I should go to the ER. It always cost me $65 here. Theyβre not treating me here. Theyβre sending me out for x-rays. The ER could do that. Mind you, Iβm not saying theyβve done anything wrong. I just think I could do just as well without spending $65 at the ER.

I cut 2 of my fingers real bad. I was able to schedule online. They got me right in. Turned out I needed the ER. They referred me to their sister company stand alone ER. I was home in about 2 hours between both places. Only 2 Hours!!! :) will definitely use them again. Additionally, staff at both locations was very friendly. Overall great experience

Sandra waited an hour in the exam room without being seen. It was hot and stuffy and claustrophobic. Finally, she had to leave because we had to take care of something else. We paid the co-pay, but we denied a refund even though we did not see a provider this is terrible.

My rating of 1 star at the CareNow on Eastern & Horizon Ridge is solely due to our early arrival at the urgent care appointment. They promptly admitted us within 10 minutes, and we received a follow-up call the next day to check on my son. We visited the urgent care because my son was experiencing severe pain in his lower back near the coccyx, making it difficult for him to walk or sit. Upon examination, I noticed an abscess.
The βdoctorβ there, Oliver Torrefranca, NP, barely glanced at my son and didnβt perform a thorough examination. He failed to notice the pilonidal abscess or pimple. Despite my sonβs inability to walk or sit, he was discharged with instructions to apply heat compresses to encourage the abscess to rupture on its own and an antibiotic prescription.
Furthermore, the βdoctorβ advised us to go to the emergency room in 3-4 days if the condition did not improve. However, the exit care documents provided explicitly stated that untreated pilonidal abscesses tend to worsen and can potentially spread deeper into the body, causing blood infection.
Immediately after returning home, I scheduled an appointment at the ER at Green Valley Ranch. The medical staff there treated my son appropriately, and by the time he was discharged, he was already feeling significantly better.

I usually avoid going to the doctor, but the team at CareNow Urgent Care on Eastern & Horizon Ridge honestly made the whole experience easy and stress-free. I came in with some lower back pain that had been messing with me for days, and from the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, professional, and patient.
Check-in was super simple β they use a digital sign-in system where I could upload my ID and insurance right from my phone, which made everything quick. I didnβt wait long at all before being called back.
The staff really listened, didnβt rush me, and made me feel like they genuinely cared about what was going on. They explained everything clearly, took the time to understand my pain, and got me the treatment I needed. I walked out feeling heard and taken care of, and now Iβm finally on the road to recovery.
Thank you to the whole team β I truly appreciate the level of care I received. Highly recommend this location.

I had an excellent experience at this urgent care. From the moment I arrived, everything was efficient and well organized. The wait was surprisingly short, which I really appreciated since I was in a lot of pain.
The doctor took time to listen and explained everything clearly, and the nurses were kind, professional, and very attentive.
Itβs easy to leave a review when things go wrong, but itβs just as important to recognize when people get it right. Thank you to the whole team for making a stressful situation so much easier. I truly appreciate your professionalism and kindness.
Hope they see it. It matters a lot to healthcare workers, especially when so much of what they hear is the opposite.

If I could, I would give zero stars. I was told there was no wait. I rushed right in and all the rooms were filled. They were young kids, not even medical students at the front Said desk that had no idea what was going on. I wasnβt seen for 45 minutes, I was not the only one with an extended waitt. Also, I was charged a $55 co-pay when they were in network and I was not told about it until later. Donβt waste your time or money. . These corporate run care centers, only have profits in mind, not your health.

I went in for severe neck and back pain and saw NP Jerry, which unfortunately was a horrible experience. He was extremely dismissive and only spent about two minutes with me. He prescribed me a medication without even knowing whether it was safe for me to take and told me to check with the pharmacy.
On top of that, the prescription has been on backorder since April, so I wasnβt even able to get the medication. I left feeling completely unheard and frustrated. I will never go back here again!

I canβt say enough good things about (MA) Lauren R at CareNow Urgent Care. I was in excruciating pain and had to go through an extremely painful procedure, and Lauren was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.
What stood out most was how real she was with me. She didnβt sugarcoat anything she told me straight up that it was going to hurt, but she also stayed right there with me through it. She kept me laughing, talked to me, and somehow managed to take my mind off the pain when I needed it most. When things got really intense, she even let me squeeze her hand to help me get through it.
That kind of compassion and genuine human connection is something you donβt forget. When youβre hurting that badly, having someone who can make you laugh, keep you calm, and still be completely honest with you makes all the difference.
Lauren turned an absolutely miserable experience into something I could get through. CareNow is lucky to have her. Thank you, Lauren, for keeping it real, keeping me laughing, and being there when I needed it most. Youβre incredible at what you do!

I was very disappointed with my visit. I went in because my blood pressure was extremely high, but all the doctor told me was to monitor it, reduce my sodium intake, and follow up with a primary care physician. I explained that I don't have a primary care doctor, which is the reason I came to the clinic in the first place. Despite my blood pressure being so high, the doctor refused to prescribe any medication or provide any treatment. I was shocked that they allowed me to leave without addressing the issue. Overall, I found the visit to be unhelpful and a waste of time. Thankfully I was able to be seen by a real doctor a few days later and she prescribed me medication.

Medical person looked a skin condition for less than 30 seconds and said it's infected and go see a dermatologist. No antibiotics, no treatment, no time spend for the money. I was seen very quickly since i did online check in and the nurse who helped me was wonderful! My reason for the two stars is because i was dismissed by the doctor who said my abdominal pain/discomfort was not severe enough to be urgent. Then told me to make an appointment with my primary. Mind you my primary had no same day openings and is now closed until Monday. So now i have to wait until Monday possibly longer if thereβs even any openings to get any further help. They don't listen to patients, and only treat to maybe manage symptoms until they can pass you off to your primary or a hospital. I suggest going anywhere besides a CareNow Urgent Care in their network or Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. While at this CareNow, I was referred to the hospital because the doctor at CareNow, Jerry, told me that the CareNow clinic should never have set up my appointment and that he couldn't provide the medication I was requesting but had me wait in the room while his nurse called Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center (their sister hospital) to see if the hospital could prescribe the medication. While I was waiting in the room, I could hear the phone call taking place and heard the nurse provide the name of the medication to whomever she was speaking to and they confirmed that if I went to the ER (although it was CLEARLY not an emergency situation) that I would be prescribed the medication. They came back and told me this so I immediately left CareNow and went to Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. Upon arriving at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, I told the intake nurse that I had been referred by CareNow Urgent Care and told her the medication I was looking to have prescribed. She checked me in and took me back to a room. When she returned, she brought another nurse with her who informed me that there was nothing the hospital could do to help me, that Jerry refers people whom the hospital cannot help "all the time" (the nurse knew him by first name), and provided me discharge paperwork. I received no actual medical advice or assistance with the issue I was referred for, and I never would have gone to the ER had I not been referred by their own network of providers. I've now had to pay medical bills from CareNow, the Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, and the individual medical provider from Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center (whom I never saw or spoke to) close to $1000 out of pock when absolutely no medical assistance was provided at either facility and I never should have been referred to, let alone checked into the hospital, in the first place. I attempted to go through the patient advocate "service" to get what my insurance would not pay waived for them to essentially tell me tough luck you walked into the facilities so you owe us the money. I'll do anything I can to avoid both facilities and would recommend the same to a friend.

What a scam, I came in for persistent diarrhea nausea and stomach cramps for over 2 weeks and getting worse which I put on the intake from. They made me pay the copay before being seen, and once the NP Oliver Torrefranca came in, he spoke with me for less than a minute. He said he'll prescribe antibiotics and that should kill whatever I have. I asked no diagnostics? And he said "we don't do testing here" it's advertised on your website that you do diagnostics and X-rays, he said I'd have to go to the ER and then asked if i wanted to go there now. I said no I already paid to be seen here for nothing? And he just repeated they don't do testing here. So antibiotics for a $250 visit, without knowing what is wrong with me, without getting a full history, without giving me more than a minute of his time. This place is a scam, they are not a urgent care, they are a fraud. If you think something is wrong with you, save your money and go somewhere that will give you the treatment you deserve and not just write you off with antibiotics.

It was easy to make an appointment and I was taken back promptly once I arrived. I received excellent care from the MA, the EKG tech, and Dr Margo Smith.
Update: had to go to Care Now for another reason and my provider, Jerry, was excellent. The Care Now system to check in is easy and relieves a long wait time in the waiting room.

My wife and I developed a lower respiratory infection (didnβt know this until we were seen). The staff was very professional and friendly. The provider who saw us was very experienced with our condition and answered all of our questions, again in a friendly and courteous manner. Making the appointments online was so easy. I highly recommend CareNow on Eastern and Horizon Ridge.

Honestly, I didnβt walk in with high expectations β and Iβm glad I was wrong.
My visit to CareNow on Eastern genuinely surprised me. If youβve spent any time in traditional medical settings, you know the drill: appointments that run late, providers who seem like theyβre already thinking about the next patient before theyβve finished with you, and that unmistakable feeling that youβre being processed rather than cared for.
None of that happened here.
Booking online was straightforward β no friction, no confusion. And before I could even settle into waiting-mode, I got a call from a receptionist who was not only courteous but actually called to let me know I could come in earlier because of a cancellation. Small gesture. Big impression.
The front desk staff was professional and moved with purpose. The wait was short. The medical assistant was thorough and attentive β the kind of attentive that makes you feel like your situation actually matters. The NP who saw me carried that same energy: present, engaged, and unhurried.
This is what patient care is supposed to feel like. Iβll be back β and Iβll be recommending this place without hesitation.ββββββββββββββββ

So who likes having to go an urgent care? Nobody! But for what it is, this place made the experience less dreadful than previous experiences. The front receptionist was friendly and actually smiled (rare in Vegas) and although there were a few people in the lobby, they got everyone seen quickly. I was in and out in a short amount of time. I appreciated the provider because he didnβt make me feel rushed and answered all my questions. They sent my prescription off to the pharmacy and I picked it up right after I left. No complaints here! If I ever need future care (fingers crossed I donβt), Iβll come back.

Making the appointment online was a little cumbersome, but manageable. The practioner that saw me was highly incompetent and quick to dismiss me to the South Las Vegas ER facility, which I believe owns CareNow for an additional unnecessary test. In short, I am being billed by both associated facilities for a simple muscle tear in my leg.

Amazing! Best experience I've ever had at urgent care. A different location transferred me here at end of day & despite the inconvenience I'm glad they did! I had a a lower respiratory infection. I signed in at home electronically, therefore I waited at home for my scheduled appointment instead on in the office. When I arrived 10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment I was taken in within 5 minutes. Everyone was friendly and professional. I was seen by Oliver. He was friendly, quick and efficient. I am on the mend and very happy!

I knew I had bronchitis so went online and scheduled an appointment. Uploaded all my information ahead of time. Received a text message when my time was ready. Spent 10 mins in waiting room and 15 mins in the back with the Doctor and Nurse. Got my prescriptions seamlessly. Very easy experience. I highly recommend going online ahead of time. Will save you a lot of time in the facility.
