CareNow Urgent Care is the best urgent care. It’s very clean and has a great staff. Unfortunately, I tripped, fell and hurt my hand. When I walked in Sandy, the receptionist helped me right away. The medical tech was fantastic (I’m sorry I forgot her name) and Joanne, the nurse practitioner, was great. They are all very caring, knowledgeable and explained everything that I needed to know. You can make an appointment on line or walk-in.

The final result was fantastic with summary of condition and treatment. The receiving nurse asked if okay with throat and nose swab. I’m a certified EMT and you can’t do interventions without explaining to a patient. I’m afraid of being poked the nurse could’ve set expectations of the swab procedure and said “you may feel your reflex however the swab is just to your tonsil and nose to back of nasopharynx and may be discomfort but it not harmful.” Felt she just wanted to poke at me without saying anything. I’m sensitive thats all. Would return and maybe ask myself what expectations of a throat and nose swab. Excellent return to work note and prescription.

After 11 days of dealing with the flu, I went to Urgent Care—oh my gosh, every person there was so helpful and so prompt—I was in with the nurse within about 15 minutes and 10 minutes later Dr Allen was sitting in front of me explaining my issues! I went in for a UTI test and the doctor came in and told me they didn’t find any bacteria with the quick urine test but they did find some blood and they needed to do a culture. I asked her what it could be if the culture doesn’t show a UTI? She says, well I don’t want to go down that road but if it’s not a UTI it could be Cancer. I was shocked and said well, too late you already went down that road. She laughed and said they will call you with the results in 2 days and walked out. I was floored. I know health care workers are never supposed to say that to someone without a good reason. You know where your mind goes when a doctor says something like that to you. I have been beside myself worrying the worst case scenario is true and I’m still waiting for the results. So much undo stress has been caused by that comment she made to me as she somehow thought was funny and went about her day.
I do want to say that I have been to Care Now several times over the years and so has my family and the staff and other doctors and nurses have been absolutely amazing!
But I just want to bring this to attention because it is causing me and my family so much stress and I hope she never does this to anyone else!

I do not recommend this place if you're in trouble and the nearest place is this. I came in with a severe hand infection (cellulitius) and requested to be seen by a professional around mid day. Instead, I'm delayed and stalled for insurance information or direct copayment BEFORE treatment or any emergent medical attention because of internal policies. It's illegal to delay and deny any form of emergency healthcare on the Federal.

I was forced to walk to the UMC Urgent Care in the scorching heat. I got a diagnosis and they helped me in a medical emergency, effectively saving my hand and referring me to the Hospital. The best part was that those people collected my information AFTER I got medical treatment.

This model of CareNow is such an abhorrent and monetary focused institution that doesn't value human health as it ethically should. You don't need all the tools to help a human being in need. You just need to do what you can, send to the next qualified person. That's how it works and should work in the medical field.

Instead, this is the sad fact. They're a decent facility out of convenience and check-ups but when it comes to emergencies and it's the nearest place you can think of in a panic; these people do not care about you. Their philosophy is money first, treatment and questions later. You're better off going to other facilities in the valley that won't enable and encourage this kind of Medical Malpractice, or simply dying alone.

They have changed the reservation system. You used to be able to log in on line and they would notify you when to come in. Now you have to select an appointment time. We had an appointment scheduled at 9:36am. Did not get called in to see the doctor until 10:15 am. Previous system was much better. You did not leave for the clinic until you were ready to be seen. Completely unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional. I brought my child to CareNow for a school physical and was rudely told they “don’t do school physicals”despite their own website clearly advertising them, including a $35 back-to-school promotion for school and sports physicals.

After I pointed this out, they finally agreed to perform the physical “this one time as a courtesy,” as though they were doing me a favor by honoring a service they publicly advertise. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive from the moment we arrived, and the office manager’s attitude was no better. Rather than acknowledge the misleading information or apologize, they treated me like I was the problem.

The physical was not a “courtesy.” I came in requesting an advertised service and expected to pay the advertised price. The entire interaction was unnecessarily disrespectful and unprofessional. Corporate has been contacted, and I will never return to this location.

My experience today was a plus. I was treated so nicely. They fixed my problem right away. I had wax in my ear, a horrible buildup and I could not hardly hear out of my ear. A very talented young lady came in and flushed my ear out, under Dr. Allen’s Guidance.

I will start from the fact that before June 27th 2026, I always received great help from Care Now Urgent Care on Sahara and Hualapaii. That's why I decided to go there on Saturday, June 27th 2026. Expecting same as before.
Me and my husband, came back from the cruise in Europe,and we both were very sick. We needed help. Some lady with longer straight hair was the provider. Can't tell if she was a doctor or nurse practitioner because she didn't mentioned anything.
And here starts fun part. I was more sick than my husband. We've been asked certain questions. She also asked me if I have fever but before I was able to finish my answer, she answered probably not. You don't look like you have fever. At this point, I asked myself if we are at the Urgent Care ir at the Psychic office? Noone check my temperature, just blood pressure, and oxygen. She asked my husband, if he thinks that I am more sick than he is. My shock was reaching litmits. We both were not tested on flu or covid. I hit prescribed prednisone, and we both were told to drink more water. Not mentioning that my deductible is $50,same as my husband. So, for $100 total,we've been told to drink more water. I wasn't getting better,same my husband, so because it was during the week, we went to our doctor. We got tested, and test results were sent back to us 3 days later. We both had Covid!!!! And some couple other infections. I actually had fever all this time.
I could be angry,Write mean things but I am just disappointed. I always believed that people choose medical field not because of money but because of the fact they want to help people. I am also shocked how we were treated. That noone even bother for basics, like Flu or Covid test. Not mentioning checking temperature. Especially that we came back from European cruise, and there were lately going some issues with some upper respiratory viruses. Thank God, we did not get anything.

What really stood out, and made this my best experience yet was Dr. Siu. He took his time to address all my concerns, and was very thorough. He was easy to talk to, and obviously very capable. I felt very at ease even though I suffer from extremely bad issues with anxiety.

The nurses were great. But the Provider had terrible bedside manners and didn't listen to me at all. They do not accept Kaiser Permanent insurance so I ended up spending $180 dollars. They rushed us out of the building as soon as they could. Went to CareNow Urgent Care on Sahara & Hualapai and honestly, what a waste of time and money.
I did the whole online check-in process beforehand, uploaded everything they asked for, only to show up and be handed a stack of paper forms to fill out anyway. What is the point of the online process then?
Then came the real surprise: $217 upfront just to be seen, even with two insurances. No real explanation, just "that's what the insurance says, you have to pay to be seen." I said no thanks and walked out.
Went straight to UMC Primary Care at Peccole Ranch. Same two insurances. Paid nothing. Faster, friendlier, zero hassle.
If you're wondering whether the billing issue is an insurance problem, it's not. It's a CareNow problem. Hard pass on this place.

Super care by Brandon male nurse but rushed out by the PA on duty Kintana Wixom-I had to slow her down to actually speak with me about my test results including X-rays , she seemed annoyed and couldn't care less rushing off to next patient .
Poor care by her ,the rest of the staff fine .

I must have come at a good time. First time visit here as a recent CA escapee (POS state). Haven't even set up my new health insurance. My asthma flared up for 1st time in a few years. No time to go through healthcare waiting list. Need inhaler like now! Was in and out in < 1.5 hrs, incl 1st time registration. CareNow staff were very friendly, welcoming, clear in communication, duties, responsibilities. Refreshing in today's world! A 10-min drive away, office in a good location, office clean. You can tell they care about their business and "customers". 5 stars, but you already saw that.

Everyone was extremely nice. Took longer than i thought it would. The doctor ves very nice. But my complaint is that i went in for a harsh cough for over a week…that wasnt allowing me sleep. I explained that to be able to sleep at night was my biggest goal. I was prescribed benzonatate and bromphen/pseudo/dextro hbr syrup, which was even less effective than the over the counter night cough med i had been taking. I did not sleep at all last night.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I stopped in on March 2 how easy things were. I handed my drivers license to the receptionist, who asked if I had a mobile device. I said I did and she gave me my license and said, You’ll get a text in a minute. Please register.

I did get the test and it was simple. I was able to take photos of my ID, and my medical cards and upload those. I answered a few brief medical history questions and was done.

I had a place in line and it kept updating me. The nurse and the doctor were very professional and from start to finish, I was in and out in less than 90 minutes.

I was very happy with the service and quality of care I received and if I need use of an urgent care in the future, this is where I’ll head.

My husband was seen at your facility, and the appointment initially seemed to go smoothly. He was diagnosed and prescribed an antibiotic. The visit was very quick, which unfortunately meant the evaluation was not thorough. His eyes were not examined.

As we were driving away from the facility, he developed a rapid onset of conjunctivitis symptoms. We immediately called back once we realized he was experiencing clear symptoms of conjunctivitis and asked whether antibiotic eye drops could be added to the prescriptions that had just been written.

We were told this was not possible and, due to policy, he could not be seen again the same day and would need to return the following day.

This was extremely frustrating. My husband is a helicopter pilot and depends on clear vision for work. Time is critical in his profession, and we were disappointed that his eyes were not assessed during the initial evaluation.

We have also just relocated here temporarily for his job and do not yet have a primary care provider, which made the situation more difficult.

Fortunately, we were able to find another medical facility that saw him promptly, diagnosed conjunctivitis, and prescribed antibiotic eye drops without issue. They were kind, efficient, and understanding of the urgency.

Based on this experience, we will not be returning, as we do not feel confident in the thoroughness of the evaluation or the decision-making process.

The facility and staff are 5 star, they listen to you and tespond without giving you a hard time. I witnessed the front desk cleark immediately find a way to help a family who did not have i surance find a way to help them. Candice helped this family and I was so impressed that she found a way to say Yes and not turn them away.

I had a very positive experience at CareNow today. The entire team was patient, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. From the front desk to the medical assistants and the provider, everyone took the time to listen and clearly explain my diagnosis and next steps.
