Absolutely LOVE centennial pediatrics brought my daughter since a newborn and then my second daughter as well, I always had a say so in what vaccines i was comfortable giving, and what i could split up or decline with full support then their Office Manager, not even the Dr's decided they were going to enforce vaccines and if a parent decided not to vaccinate they could no longer be seen at their office. Makes me so very sad because again I loved taking my kids here, Dr Tenby, Dr Fong and Bonnie are FABULOUS. It is sad that a parent does not get a say so in the choices for their child that could potentially affect their long term health. Hope there is a change soon that gives parents more freedom to decide what is done to their child and not dictated by an office manager 🤞🏻

I specifically requested an individualized benefit-risk assessment based on my child’s unique circumstances before consenting to the hepatitis B vaccine. I explained that he is a perfectly healthy baby and that, before agreeing to a preventive medical intervention, I needed to understand both the expected benefits and the risks in his specific situation. I also explained that one of my concerns was that the frequency of certain potential adverse events, such as autoimmune events, was not clearly established.
Rather than discussing my child’s individual risk or answering my questions, I was directed to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia website and then expected to make a decision during that same visit without a meaningful opportunity to review the information.
This was not the first time I attempted to have this discussion. At my child’s two-week visit, I raised my concerns and was told there was not enough time to discuss them. I was given CDC handouts that did not address the specific questions I was asking or provide the underlying data I was seeking.
When I explained that I needed more time to make an informed decision, I was told this is a 100% vaccination practice and that if I did not consent, I would need to find another pediatrician.
There was no indication that Dr. Tenby values individualized informed consent, shared decision-making, or parental preferences when they differ from his recommendations. I sought a physician willing to discuss my child’s specific circumstances before recommending a preventive medical intervention. Instead, I was referred to generalized, and outdated, educational materials and ultimately forced to choose between immediate consent and losing our pediatrician.

We've been bringing our kids to Dr. Tenby and Bonnie since 2014, and they have always gone above and beyond for our family. They take the time to listen, truly care about their patients, and always make us feel comfortable and supported.
Sarah at the front office is always kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful whenever we call or have questions. The entire team is welcoming and professional.
We're so grateful to have found such an amazing pediatric office and highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, exceptional care for their children!

Bonnie Tafoya is such an amazing APRN & person. She is my absolute favorite. She shows so much compassion & love for her little patients, taking the time to listen to your concerns. She definitely makes you feel valued & a part of centennial’s practice family. I’ve been taking my kids here for almost 10 years now & I don’t need to look anywhere else. Everyone is in such a good mood & if they’re having a rough day, it doesn’t show because their top priority are the children. That’s where it is at! I cannot express enough gratitude for having found this gem. Do not listen to the naysayers. Find out for yourself like I did. The entire office staff is also very helpful, especially Emani. She is a wonderful person with a sweet spirit, you can tell she loves her job. She has made my son feel so welcomed after a little rough run in before his appointment today. What a rockstar! Children are precious & they learn from adults. The staff here from my experiences show integrity, respect & the love for what they do. Thank you so much! Mahalo to you all 🤙🏼

We’ve been going to Centennial Pediatrics for a few years now with all four of my kids, and I honestly couldn’t imagine a better doctor’s office. Dr. Fung and Bonnie are our absolute favorites—they make you feel heard, understood, and truly cared for. They are both so personable and treat my kids with such kindness.
My oldest son has severe autism, and unlike other places we’ve tried, he actually feels comfortable coming here. That alone means the world to me. We’ve also seen Dr. Tenby before, and I find him to be very knowledgeable. Some people might see him as blunt, but I don’t take it that way—he’s simply straight to the point, and you can still tell he truly cares.
We’ve never had long waits, and I’ve almost always been able to get same-day sick visits when needed, which is such a relief as a parent. The nurses are always wonderful, and Daniel at the front desk greets us so kindly every time—we always feel welcomed. Centennial Pediatrics has been such a blessing for our family, and I’m so grateful to have found them! 🥰

Loved the staff there; everyone from the receptionist to the medical assistant's to the doctors were super nice and friendly.
The office is also so cute and clean. Love that they have a well child entrance/waiting room and a sick entrance/waiting room.
So glad to find a great pediatrician for my son.

I really like this pediatrician for the kids my son is 2 years old he's been going there since he was born the entire staff doctors nurses and receptionist are all extremely kind one time I enter there and I had like a little bit of a bad day feeling insecure about parenting
It seemed I was a tad bit snappy but like the staff was like really educated and professional, when my visit was over I apologize and thank the staff for like being organized and kind. The doctors really know what they are doing & be sure the kids are healthy I recommend to go to the ER if your child gets sick they get more meds that way. And actually my favorite staff is the man up front and the only man. Because that one rough day I was having he seemed to have noticed, and seemed compassionate about my visit. The nurse with the Big bug eyes, she seems like a mother herself. So very warm and relatable. Dr Tenby answers your questions is assertive and attentive. The patient rooms all have different paintings inside, I took a picture of my son each visit to show all of my friends and family his growing 💗 once I needed formula, and they were happy to offer me a couple cans. Which of course I needed at the time so I of course l agreed to have them! Anyways. It's a little far from my home location, but, Since my son was born at the centennial hospital it was majorly convenient to choose right after giving birth when they ask you if an office you'd like your baby to be seen from. I am a single mother so it's really heart warming when you get to see you yor children being loved by nurturing people Ok. Thank you for our super cute experience. Xo📱🦓

I have been coming to Centennial Pediatrics for about 8 months and my daughter sees the Nurse Practitioner, Presley. Presley is kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. She answers all of my questions and takes all of my concerns seriously (no matter how big or small). I couldn’t imagine taking my daughter to another provider.
I have also called to try to get an acute visit when my daughter was sick. Unfortunately, they had already filled all of the spots for acute visits for the day (it was the height of flu season) but I was given information on pediatric urgent cares around the valley and then was given an appt for the next day to follow up on the plan of care given from the urgent care. I was also called twice that day when there was an opening/cancelation in the schedule. My daughter and I couldn’t have asked for better care!

The worst place to ever take your kids, everyone talks bad about the patients behind their backs, if they don’t like you they become so rude to you! It’s crazy because I never received this type of energy from other doctor offices. Such a hostile environment. Do better!!

This is my second time, having to file a negative review and on Christmas. On the ER staff, the Nurse Tammy in the ER is extremely rude and acts like she doesn’t know how to answer simple, questions, without out being rude and disrespectful. I will follow up with the Charge Nurse Manager and Management please, train your staff on how to properly speak to people. I see why yall have such low ratings.

I’m so tired of this place. I’ve given it so many chances but it’s exhausting honestly. The only reason I stay is for Dr. Jane Fung (Great doctor, very personable and seem to care for her patients). My son has been there since birth, so just over 4 years. I’ve tried Dr. Tenby (cold, robot like, and off kilter), tried Tafoya (also cold, shamed me for my sons weight and felt like she was version of Tenby and does not connect with patients). Front staff is nice EXCEPT for the one male staff member. He is rude 99% of the time. Advice nurses are usually helpful and nice but I guess I got one on a bad day. Unable to give me advice and to even state she was a nurse. Just told me they were booked and to go to urgent care or the ER. I thought they held sick appointments for each day but apparently not. If you’re looking for a pediatrician, I would only recommend Dr. Fung.

This review is for the nurses, Allison and Julie. Literally the sweetest, kindest nurses I have ever met. My son and daughter both see Bonnie and we love her as well. But the nurses really make each visit so enjoyable even when it’s a stressful visit. They make you feel heard and calm your nerves especially when your LO is super sick. Overall love this Pediatrician office, they truly care and will get you in a moments notice.

We need to hear some things from other people to grow in life. Simple facts! I’m grateful for the whole team picking up my mom slack to make sure they stay healthy!!! Thank you to the moon and back!

My experiences here have always been lovely. I have only seen Dr. Fung and will continue to see her as long as possible. She genuinely seems concerned with my children's health. My last visit was a sick visit for my daughter who they diagnosed with RSV after a quick 15 min test. The nurse who administered the test seemed concerned as well. I appreciate Dr. Fung taking the time to show me what to watch out for with her breathing and what to do if she got worse. there is nothing worse then feeling like a doctor dismisses your concerns and I REALLY appreciate Dr. Fung. I have always been treated respectfully and in treated in a timely manner. If you are in the centennial area, I recommend .

I was forced to see another pediatrician. The staff there is not helpful whatsoever. My 5 year old daughter had a really bad earache and could not go to school they told me they couldn't get her in for 2 weeks. Had to take her to urgent care to get antibiotics. Then for my son's one year old well visit on March 28th I had to reschedule because I started a job. They said they could not see him until July for a 3pm appointment. Their schedule is not accommodating. Now I'm at desert valley in centennial and love it.

I've been taking both of my daughters to Bonnie since birth. They are now 4 and 6. We love her. She is amazing at what she does. She is super friendly and nice. She takes her time when examining. She asks questions and we truly feel comfortable. Both nurses are so friendly and kind, Sarah is one of the ones that usually brings us back to the room she is amazing. I'm sad that with our insurance change we can no longer go to them because they do not take my type of insurance. Having to find another doctor's office is a scary feeling.

Dr Tenby was so rude to my child at his first appointment. Mind you my child just came home from a 67 day stay at the Nicu and had two surgeries among a lot of other things. Dr. Tenby comes in waiving my sons discharge paperwork, 14 pages long and says he does not have time for this long list of problems! He keeps saying he didn’t have time. He kept typing and asking us questions about our son instead of taking the time to read the discharge notes that were right in front of him! He had a student with him and he yelled at him and handed him the paperwork and demanded him to stand there and hold the paper so he ca type a “problem list” for my son.
When it came time to look at him he took 5 seconds! My son has been through a lot , we have been through a lot. He also has a G-tube and Dr Tenby should have just been a little more kind and a little bit more compassionate towards our son and us. We felt so terrible. I looked at my husband after the doctor left the room and I started to cry. I felt to disrespected and felt like he was basically kicking my son while he was down. He said he was gonna go over my sons discharge notes over lunch. Instead he just left the paperwork thrown on the desk in the exam room and went about his day hurrying out of the room like we had just waisted hours of his time. As we were checking out, I over heard him go into another exam room and say I’m sorry I’m late I just had a very complicated baby! Why is he sharing information with other people about my son?! The worst part is that I heard that and I felt terrible!
I had twins and we took one of my twins here and figured when my other twin comes home from Nicu we’ll stick with Dr Tenby, but I am switching, and taking my kids to someone who has a heart.

My son was sick and unless you are a established patient you won't be seen for 4 weeks, what a joke , they said they are a small practice but so is abc ped in Henderson, I'm sick and live almost an hour from abc but , I think I would rather drive the hour , what a joke, they should be ashamed of their office, I have never heard of such a thing. I will tell anyone who listens not to go to a joke of a place. They suck

Let me first start by saying Bonnie was amazing and wish I could have stuck with her but sometimes it would not line up with scheduling. Dr. Tenby on the other hand I could not handle. He was impersonal. Never bothered to ask my name and twice that I had come he was teaching a student on my 3 month old baby. I am a first time mother and very protective of my baby and they made him cry because they were doing things like checking his ears twice and it shouldn't hurt and he started crying. My baby does not cry unless its something serious. The second time I went to Dr. Tenby, he again brought a student. Dr. Tenby proceeded to do the exam and forced my babys head to the side not even consoling him or talking it through and he started to cry. Not scream, but he had actual tears. It was a bad experience. I don't recommend this pediatrician at all. If you do, stick with Bonnie.

My three children have been seeing Dr. Tenby and/or Bonnie Tafoya for 15 years. They are attentive and kind. We have always been able to receive an appointment, even same day. Dr. Tenby has provided care through illness, injury and even emotional support. He returns calls and even makes follow up calls to check up on the kids. I would go without insurance and have to keep him as our doctor.
