My daughter had a UTI. I took her in to get her on antibiotics. My daughter explained her symptoms to the provider Sujatha Battula. She disregarded my daughter and told her that it was something else and she was going to prescribe a cream. I took a stand and informed her that it was a UTI and she needs antibiotics. The provider said to me “she is 10, it’s not a UTI.” After going back and forth for about 30 minutes I told her I was no longer going to argue with her and we will wait for the results from the test. The test came back positive for a UTI. When the provider walked back into the room to inform us of the test results and prescribe the antibiotics I told her I was trying to tell her that for the past 30 minutes and we were right without even needing a test.

Sujatha Battula Is one of those doctors who really is there for a check. She doesn’t listen to her patients. She doesn’t listen to the symptoms. She has it made up in her mind that we are the one who are wrong and she knows best because she is the doctor.

It was wrong that I had to fight for my daughter and be her voice when the doctor should have listened to her in the beginning. The doctor was doing wrong by refusing to help.

We came to this clinic with our 7-month-old baby and our toddler. Both were coughing, and our 7-month-old sounded like he had significant mucus congestion that was affecting his ability to sleep. Because of the severity of his symptoms, we brought both children in to be evaluated.

We currently do not have insurance, so we paid $150 per child, or $300 total, for the visits. The doctor checked their breathing and looked at their ears and throats, then told us that both children simply had a normal cold and prescribed cough medicine.

Unfortunately, the following day, both children's symptoms became worse. We called the office because we were concerned and explained that the initial evaluation did not seem to have addressed the symptoms adequately. We were then told that if we wanted them evaluated again, we would have to pay for another visit.

I want to be clear that the reception staff were very nice, professional, and helpful. My concern is specifically with the medical evaluation and the lack of follow-up or accountability when the children's symptoms worsened.

I am not a medical professional, so I understand that I may not know exactly what examinations are appropriate. However, when a parent brings in a 7-month-old and specifically expresses concern that the baby is having difficulty breathing or sounds like there may be an airway obstruction from mucus, I would expect a more thorough assessment. At the very least, I would have expected something as basic as checking the baby's oxygen saturation, especially given the age of the child and the breathing concerns we described.

What concerns me most is not that the initial diagnosis may have been incorrect—illnesses can be difficult to diagnose and symptoms can change. What I found disappointing was the response when we called the next day because the children's symptoms had worsened. Rather than showing concern or reassessing the situation, we were simply told that we would need to pay for another appointment.

I understand that medical practices are businesses and that visits have costs. However, when dealing with young children, particularly an infant with reported breathing concerns, I believe there should be a greater level of caution, compassion, and willingness to reassess when symptoms worsen.

I am leaving this review not to be rude or unfair to the staff, but because I want other parents to be aware of our experience and to make their own informed decision about where they take their children for medical care.

Worst ever I waited for so long nobody else in the lobby but me and my kids. The lady at the front desk with earphones while I was talking telling her I was done filling out paperwork. Well after doctor seen my kids prescriptions were supposed to be send to the pharmacy.. well go to the pharmacy and they didn't send all the prescriptions for the medication.. well me leaving the doctors office trying to ask for how many days are they going to be off from school and a school doctor excuse.. she sees me waiting and hides i just left that office besides that place was very dirty

This was our first time visiting this office, and I have to say, I was so impressed!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Miss Nettie. She was incredibly kind, patient, and had such a positive, welcoming energy. Then we met Miss Heather, who was an absolute ray of sunshine! She was funny, down to earth, and made us feel so comfortable.

The PA was knowledgeable, thorough, and took the time to answer our questions, which really put our minds at ease regarding the reason we brought my son in.

The only minor downside was that the office and exam rooms seemed a little outdated, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the excellent care we received.

The staff made such a wonderful impression that I’ve decided to make this office my children’s primary care provider. It’s not often you leave a first visit feeling this confident in a practice. Highly recommend!

We have gone here twice. And so far the service is good. Got in and out in a very quick time frame.
HOWEVER their hours are inconsistent.

Their door says week days open until 7pm.
Drive all the way over with my sick kid and they are closed at 5:20pm.
Look on the website and it does state SUMMER HOURS close at 4pm.
BUT ITS MARCH.
Summer is of course not March as March is Spring. Very unfortunate that they can’t have accurate hours posted.

As a PHYSICIAN who took his toddler there for croup only because his normal pediatrician office was closed I was appalled by the clinic. First off it’s very dirty with visible dirt on the walls, the examination table, and chairs. The MA took a pulse ox on my son, but it didn’t register as his fingers are too small for the machine, but somehow it was documented 99%. The physician documented parts of an exam that was NEVER performed in the medical record. It was clear my son had croup given a “barking cough” and fever. Somehow the physician diagnosed him with Allergic Rhinitis, when he doesn’t have any signs of that and isn’t even allergy season. I wanted him to get a steroid shot for croup she gave it for “allergies” so I didn’t care, but beware this is an awful clinic. I will never return. From a Board Certified Physician I would encourage you to go somewhere else!!!!!

Great experience. I drive by here every day and never even noticed. My daughter hurt her finger and I called the urgent care I've used in the past and they said they don't have xray. Dr. Jagannath S. Surpur is the worst urgent care pediatrician ever ! She will do anything to not run any tests!
You have to fight her all the way to beg she runs all the tests possible. I have been here 3 times & every time it is the same.
She will say “no” to all of your requests! Does she come out of pocket for these tests ?
I am not sure I understand? Does she hate her job or the kids ?
Does she not want results ? I mean isn’t that the point of coming here to find out what is wrong with our children ?

Love this place! Urgent care and primary care in one place. My children feel comfortable with the staff and they are also very welcoming of input from the parent. That was a green flag for me as I am not too hot on places that will treat on little or no information. Another plus is that the prescriptions are sent electronically and if there is any issue with insurance coverage of brand name or generic, there is always someone available when they call to approve or make suggestions on alternatives. I like that there is never an outrageous wait time... walk-in or appointment... I like that they value my time. Would recommend.

I brought my one year old son here to be seen with a severe fever over 102 in a panic. The doctor told the nurse to give my son Motrin to lower the fever right away and administer a breathing treatment since he was coughing and there was mucus on his chest.

No other tests were run but a prescription for Amoxicillin, Prednisone, Albuterol and a Nebulizer was issued and i was to keep giving him Tylenol and Motrin alternating. My poor son was on 5 strong medications at once.

He never got better so 3 weeks later I took him to the ER and found out he had a severe ear infection in both ears with pus behind them. It was not a brand new infection I was told and that he had had it for at least 2 weeks if not longer at that point. This place did not do an actual check of looking at my son's ears or throat or it would have been seen.

The receptionist was unprofessional and unkind. That's a reflection on the practice itself. When that behavior is tolerated towards a demographic that is underprivileged (my daughter is covered by Medicaid) , that is shameful!
Did not schedule, took our insurance and business elsewhere.
Response: 1. Fact: Same day, moments after the unpleasant experience with your practice, a different practice with professionalism, and perhaps better insurance verification training was able to verify my daughter's medicaid insurance. Therefore THAT was not the problem.
2. I am so glad to hear that accepting all 5 medicaid plans are a pride point. Medical access for under privileged demographics is truly important. May I simply suggest training is offered on verbal over the phone interactions and verbiage to best navigate situations as the one encountered, which made my family and I feel discriminated against. I encourage your practice to reflect on how this can be improved rather than simply feel insulted. I certainly felt insulted by your reception staff member.

My first experience here and my last. This place is dirty and run down. Brought my child in with a broken bone, doctor on duty telling me she didn't think it was broken but for safety reasons she'd write a referral for xrays, if anyone knew how to fill it out properly that would've been fantastic but after the 3rd attempt and the same turn away from the referral place because these people couldn't be bothered to do their job properly ended up taking my child to emergency room to get answers! A fractured arm, and my poor kid in pain for 2 days due to it. Save yourself the trouble, dont take your kid here, I won't return to this urgent care. Worst experience.

I brought my son here because our regular pediatrician's office was booked out a week as they'd lost a provider and were overbooked. My son had a fever and they recommended giving this place a try. I called and they were very friendly on the phone and they told us we could come right down. When we showed up, the front area was clean and the ladies up front were great. When we got to the patient room, however, it was a different story. The room had dust bunnies all over the walls. One part of the wall looked like it'd been wiped, but they were still everywhere. There was also a hole in the wall and the whole room felt run down and dirty. The doctor was nice but her accent was extremely thick. My son couldn't understand her and I had to pay very close attention so I could repeat the questions to my son. We ended up with a prescription for allergy medicine, which I thought was strange, and antibiotics. When we were leaving, a woman at the front counter whom I hadn't seen before, asked if it was our first time there. She then asked how our experience was and I told her they were able to see us, so it was great. She asked me to leave them a review on Google right then. I told her I would would write a review later. She responded that no one leaves a review when they leave and I should do it now. I said I wasn't going to do that since I had my sick child and we needed to get his medicine. I can honestly say I've never been directed to write a review and then chastised when I didn't do it right away. Other than that unnecessary interaction and the state of the patient room, I was very grateful they were able to see us right away. Though, now I understand why they had availability.

If you’re thinking about taking your child here for stitch removal, DONT!!! I will never take my son to this Urgent Care ever again. Tried avoiding ER visit so we came here instead but I definitely regret it. Their NP, Battula, barely said a word. Her & the MA that helped us that day has no patience at all & definitely not gentle with their instruments. How are you working at a peds clinic but doesn’t know how to deal with kids? Waited 2.5 hrs for the doctor to see my daughter. She came in and in less than 30 sec. She was done w her check up. Told us we were done and gave her a prescription. I asked the nurse if i needed the prescription for pharmacy, and she said we will send it. Once at the pharmacy we were told they did not send anything. I call back and they were going to fax the prescription. We call the pharmacy again and no prescription. Called the nurses and of course no answer . I have taken my Daughter here twice. This last time though was the last. The staff is nice and the Doctor who saw my Daughter was good too. I would go here again but this place needs a face lift. It is extremely unsanitary for a Doctors office. When we were in the waiting room there were 2 small bugs crawling on the wall. The furniture is dirty and well past it prime. The fish tanks no longer contain fish and are just storage units for a garbage can and whatever else. Just being in there doesn't give you a clean vibe.

I have no proof but my Daughter has not been anywhere as of late except for this office and now she has Mouth, Foot, Hand Disease and this was the last place she was out in public. I am a stay at home Mom and we are mostly home. She does not attend day care and was not around any children, except for this office. We haven't been anywhere else prior to this office in over a week, so I have to conclude it came from this office.

It does not seem like they do daily maintenance of cleaning, sanitizing, and general upkeep. The children's table and chairs in the waiting area are filthy. And even the exam room fire truck our daughter was on seemed dirty.

I would love to recommend this place but can't in good conscience allow myself to. Again, if they renovate their office and stick to higher cleaning standards we would go back. However, until then I will not be bringing my Daughter back.

I started taking my son to this location for seasonal allergies early this year. But today I took my son in because he had an allergic reaction to cashews and we were seen immediately. The staff had a great sense of urgency and they were very attentive. The doctor was very helpful and knowledgeable. She showed empathy and acted quickly to help ease my sons allergic reaction. Don't ever go here. Doctors don't listen and have the worst bed side manners I have ever seen. I brought my daughter in for a serious medical condition and all she told us was "just be happy and trust God". Doctor refused to run any test and kept interrupting me when i spoke. I am currently visiting family here in Vegas. We needed a children's urgent care due to my 1 year old running a fever. It was already late in the day so most of them were closed. This was one of the few that were left opened. I went in and of course had to pay out of pocket for the visit because they didn't except my insurance. I was seen fairly quickly. The nurse had my baby stand for height and weight at a 100.4 temp. I was taken back and told it was allergies and prescribed meds. I did a covid test which was said to be negative but no test results were uploaded. So I went to pick up the antibiotics and they never sent the order in. I had to go to another urgent care none pediatric to have my baby reevaluated and to get some meds. So I had to pay more money out of pocket to be seen again. The doctor at the new facility said that he has a virus and gave me totally different instructions on how to care for my baby. Now I wonder if they even ran the covid test or not. why didn't they send in test results to the chart online or why didn't they send my prescription for my baby in. This place also was not a presentable place for a doctor's office. I will be definitely contacting them.

Been waiting for over 40 minutes past my child’s appointment time, just for shots. Been coming here for a couple years and never felt like the staff cared, always left with out an actual diagnosis and meds to help symptoms.

I brought my 15month old baby here for a high fever the nurse practitioner didn’t use a tape measure to get her measurements but instead grabbed my baby & made her stand up straight my baby cried her eyes out! That’s not even the worse part!! When she decided to take her temperature instead of using a forehead thermometer she forced her to open her mouth & stick the stick underneath her tongue, when I asked “why aren’t you using the forehead one?” She said rolling her eyes to me “because they’re all out of battery” my baby cried & screamed so hard!! will NEVER come back here again!! Sujatha Battula FNP waste of time traveled over a hour for this and spent over a hour in the waiting room to be seen for 10 minutes. Worst care ever wouldn't recommend this place at all. She said a bunch a stuff that didn't make sense ( come back if these symptoms come up “those symptoms are the reason I am here) said she was going to do this and that but just dismissed me and my child with not even a report summary of anything the lab papers no nothing. I only rated it 1 star because I can't give a 0. only one parent is allowed back into Covid it but they don’t social distance in the waiting room at all. Also they said for the people who are going back with a patient to be have their temperatures taken for the full hour and some change when I was there only one person out of the whole waiting room tested.

The staff was so patient and kind! The wait was long… 1.5 hours long lol but they were super busy and we were walk ins so we understood. Appreciated their positive empathetic attitudes towards us from the front desk to the dr herself. The dr was quick but thorough and didn’t dismiss any of my concerns or appear frustrated with my screaming child. Truly appreciated.

Came in about 45 minutes before they closed as a walk in because my daughter complained she couldn’t open her eyes. I definitely wasn’t sure what was wrong with her but didn’t feel the ER was needed so Children’s Urgent Care was my first stop. The receptionist was able to promptly get me checked in and then we sat for a very short time before seeing the doctor. The doctor immediately was able to see something in my daughter’s eye and get her eyes flushed out and clear so she can open them again. The doctor was caring and gentle with my baby girl and made her feel all better. Literally every staff member that was there showed that they cared about my daughter feeling better.

Dr. Surpure was my pediatrician for the better part of 7 years and he was the most competent doctor I’ve had. I was also seen by many of his providers who were always kind, caring, and resolved concerns my parents or I had. Patients come out happy and smiling.

As for COVID precautions, providers are wearing N95 masks when entering the room with a patient. PPE such as gowns, gloves, and shields are being used. Hands are being washed and surfaces are sanitized between patients. Happy parents are coming back to individuals dedicated to providing quality healthcare for their children.

This was by far the worse urgent care experience we had. I brought my 2 year old son in with a high fever and was seen by a NP. The room we were in was very small and dirty. It needed a deep dusting and cleaning. The NP that saw us came in with her mask under her nose so it was completely exposed and was very dismissive of my concerns. I asked for a Covid test and she refused. We were told to drop off a urine sample the next day and we'd have test results immediately. Next day and we still haven't gotten results or a call back although we've called them twice (once with no answer during business hours). The medical assistant was fine, but a bit dismissive and just generally not friendly which I found odd for a children's facility. We will not be going back. Had a much better experience today at Over the Rainbow.

Dr. Battula was so caring and attentive to my sons needs. Doctors scare my little guy and she was able to establish trust quickly and fully examine him.

The way she presented her plan of care really demonstrated the care she has for her patients 💕 and that’s rare to find!

He is now doing much better and I am so grateful that I found a place I feel comfortable taking him when my primary care pediatrician is closed.

I had visited this urgent care with my daughter yrs ago. My son hasn’t been feeling well and I was able to do a walk in. I was greeted by Netty who is superb, with excellent customer service. I was taken back with little to no wait time. Assistants were attentive and knowledgeable. Dr. Battula was great, she answered all my questions and concerns and gave me comfort in her diagnosis. My son was terrified of visiting a doctor, but he did great..thanks to the staff and Dr. B. Thanks for your professionalism and dedication to the profession! God bless

My son got sick several months ago and we took him to another pediatric urgent care in the area. It also cost us $150 but we were sent home with essentially zero answers on why he was sick. The other urgent care just gave a generic answer of "viral infection" after having spent less than three minutes with him. They were friendly... But completely infective.

My son means everything to me. When he's seriously sick, I need seriously informed answers, not best guesses with a smile.

When he got sick again this week, we took him here instead.

I'm so glad we did. Perhaps lacking slightly in bedside manner, at least they clearly knew what they were doing. They actually ran tests and determined specifically what was wrong with him (influenza A and an ear infection).

Because they had a specific diagnosis, they were able to offer specific and effective medication.

Twenty-four hours later, he's already made significant improvement.

When it comes to my son's well-being, I always want to have someone who is good at what they do, someone who knows their specialty inside and out.

We found that here.

We'll be returning in the future and I highly recommend the same for other parents.

My name is Sylvia I went to the Henderson location Because my son and daughters needed a well check up And also coming down with a cold and allergy And the provider was senia abarquez she is the best doctor I’ve seen yet very nice very kind very great with children she showed that she cared and was concerned for my children’s health She provided them with medication She also gave them some Pedia sure shakes well check very nice friendly with the kids the kids felt very safe and comfortable and so then I and I would definitely go there again she is my new pediatrician for my children now I have took in my son there in 2004 I don’t remember that doctor too much But I also want to say that there was a couple of ladies working there and they are very nice One of them her name is Natalie I think It was her name and one of them her name was Lindsay They were very wonderful And it did not take long what took a long words I had to sign in for new patients I’ve also had a check up for me as well and they provided me my medication I needed Very great stuff I would give them a five star ⭐️ Timing was great So I just don’t understand why people would give them bad reviews they don’t deserve bad reviews definitely I would recommend children’s urgent care to anyone 👍👍👍👍👍

This facility was fantastic! My son had croup and an ear infection and the staff was so considerate and kind to him. The nurse offered a Pedia Light popsicle to help his sore throat and my kiddo really enjoyed that while he waited. The wait was about an hour but the service and medical expertise was well worth the wait.

This places saved us when we were in a sticky situation. Overall, they went above and beyond what was needed and it really helped in a stressful situation for us.

Our son had split his head open while we were visiting from out of state. We made it in right before close and they made time for us anyway. Staff was friendly and my 2 year old son felt comfortable. He ended up with 3 staples.

There were some issues with us being outside of our insurance area and our insurance company already being closed for the weekend. They were patient with us in explaining our options. We had to pay the full cost but they got things processed with our insurance and sent a refund in a timely manner.

Overall, we visit family a lot in Vegas and I'll come back if we ever have an issue again while visiting. Thank you!

Just left this absolutely horrible place my daughter has an infection and we waited forever until we finally couldn’t take it anymore and left the older lady that works in the back should not be able to treat children she has the worst customer service! Now because of how rude she was and how long they made us wait to never even be seen my daughter is the one that has to suffer, Lindsey was nice and very apologetic for everything! If you care about your family and work hard to provide your family with insurance for them to be happy and Healthy don’t waste your time or money here

I really liked this office until I got the bill, the staff is friendly, the doctor's were good and the waiting time wasn't that bad, but, when I got my bill they charged us $140 for been new patient and another $100 for been seen during the weekend, I didn't know they will charge you more for a weekend visit, like I said, I really liked this office, but they should let you know all this fees before you get your appointment, that way is your choice if you still want to be seen or not, so disappointed!!!!

10/3/17 at 615pm, I took my granddaughter because had a boil on her buttock. The male nurse practitioner was unprofessional, rushing because they were closing in 20 minutes at 7pm and still one more patient had to be seen. Didn't console my granddaughter as she was in pain trying to pop a painful boil with no head on it yet and very unsantized not wearing any gloves.
I've been in the medical field myself for 26 years and this was poor bedside manners, unprofessional in compassion fir others and OSHA requirements. Some people dont need to be in this field. SMH.

Little to no wait time. Have taken my two young children there multiple times in the past 2 months due to cold and flu season.
