Everytime i come in i get greeted by a helpful friendly staff. They are great with my kids and even helped my daughter pick out the exact frames she loves. Been going for more than two years for annual check ups and will continue to do so!!! Highly recommended

I wanted to like Clear Vision Eye Centers on Water Street because it is close to my house, has plenty of parking, and offers a good selection of frames. Dr. Abraham is also quite knowledgeable. Unfortunately, those positive aspects were completely overshadowed by a deeply uncomfortable and discriminatory experience.

From the moment I walked in as the only brown patient in the lobby, I felt judged. The front desk staff was very confused about how to process my two forms of in network insurance. Worse, they added extra exams that were not covered by my insurance without telling me until it was time to pay. This tripled my copay. I probably would have agreed to these exams if asked, but being tricked into them is unfair and unacceptable.

The visit continued to feel like a high pressure sales pitch. The doctor wrote me a prescription for bifocals that we had just established I did not need, along with another prescription for blue blocking and UV protection on reading glasses that I clearly explained I only use for a few minutes at a time.

The most insulting part was selecting frames. I immediately went to look at designer frames. A young white sales associate saw me browsing and intentionally tried to steer me toward the cheaper, entry level glasses, explaining that they cost less. I had to tell her that I am very capable of paying for whatever I want. When I finally chose my frames, she used scare tactics to try and force me into the expensive blue light and UV upgrades, claiming I should follow the doctor's exact prescription.

Even after I declined all the extras, the quote for the glasses was somehow way more than what my insurance covered. At that point, I was done. I declined the purchase and asked for my prescription to take somewhere else. Suddenly, she came up with a "cash price" that was exactly half of the original quote.

I still walked out and will not be returning to this eye care provider. I felt extremely discriminated against and judged. If you want to avoid being racially profiled and tricked into hidden fees, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

So let me start this review off by saying this location specifically has the best & friendliest staff I've ever personally ever encountered or dealt with.

So while visiting this location the young lady at the front desk I didn't catch her name so if you end up reading this review just know that I'm terriblly sorry in advance sweetheart, but she looked to be either Asian or possibly pacific islander I could be completely wrong, but anyhow see was very nice and polite very soft spoken along with extremely friendly.

The other young lady who tended to me, her name is "Ava Reynolds" top tier customer service very professional knows her job like the back of her hand that one, Ava was mighty helpful she explained everything without missing a beat & answered all of my remedial questions is what I call it because that's what it sounded like 😂🤣😆. She's mighty cool very easy going and easy to talk too literally walked me through the whole process when it came to picking out what options I wanted on the lenses, like the differences between bifocals & progressive lenses, tint or polarized again VERY THOROUGH can't stress that enough! ! !

And seeing how when I walked in there I was feeling 100% under the weather, by the time I left there it was as if I completely forgot I was even sick that's how awesome my experience was. walked in there all straight faced looking like one of Snow White's seven dwarfs "grumpy" in specific by the time I walked out I had a smile that was from ear to ear, you'd think I walked out of there with a date or something from my facial expression hahaha 🤣😂.

All in all the person in charge of this location should be happy and consider themselves not only lucky but blessed to have such a incredible team, not even kidding or exaggerating ! ! !

Not enough variety in store = website clearly names brands like (morel lightec) (Tiffany & Co) (D&C Dolce & Gabana) but didn't see any of those in store, so kinda misleading if you ask me. If your website shows those brands you should have them in store or remove them from your site just the opinion of one 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Also wanted to mention ladies on behalf of men, I want to sincerely apologize from the bottom of my heart for the behavior of that older gentleman who came in there acting a complete jerk over something that was his fault & taking it out on you guys, he was 1000% wrong for that, and you lovely ladies didn't deserve that. So I hoping and praying to dear god this review restores some of your guys faith in us men & that it possibly earns men some brownie points with you guys, in the end you guys are doing not only us men but women and children a favor by saving our vision, you ladies are the real

Dr. Amy Abraham is great and very thorough with her examination and explanations.

Her optician Ava wasn't very helpful. Very disappointing. Right when she came out to greet me, she never looked at me and just mumbled "how are you?" I wasn't sure if she was talking to me or the other patient that was in front of her. Even the other patient was confused if the optician was talking to her or me.

After she sat down and logged in to her computer, the first thing she says to me is "you don't have to get your glasses here" so I was confused. It didn't seem like she wanted to help me get glasses there. Her attitude was just not very helpful. So I said nevermind and that I'll get my glasses somewhere else. I just told her that I just need my prescription and so I just paid for my exam and went on my way.

Dr Amy Abraham is so amazing, she was great with my daughters age 6 and 11. She was very knowledgeable, patient and informative. The entire office staff was also so wonderful, and friendly as well! Not very happy this year about Clear Vision. Ordered glasses and my insurance had extra money I could spend on upgrades. Worst pair of glasses I have owned. Had to send the lens back 3 times because of scratches and then was told by Shannon that it's because of my insurance and they changed companies that make the lenses. My experience with Dr. Abraham was wonderful! She was very attentive and found a solution when I expressed concern of still feeling like my eyesight was not correct, even though I could technically see 20/20 with my current contact prescription. We’ve been going to Clear Vision Eye Center on Water Street for some time, and in the beginning, the service was excellent—friendly staff, respectful treatment, and a smooth experience overall.

Unfortunately, our most recent visit was a complete disappointment. Despite clearly stating that I did not want my underage daughter to receive a specific examination, they went ahead and did it anyway—and then charged me for it. When I brought this up, the young woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and condescending.

We are paying customers with good insurance, not looking for handouts, yet we were treated like we were an inconvenience or trying to game the system. As a military veteran who served overseas, I find this kind of disrespect unacceptable. No one—especially someone who’s served this country—should be treated like this.

Clear Vision has lost our trust, and we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.

Only wealthy people deserve the ability to see at this practice. I now have to transfer to an entirely new company as my previous location is no longer accessible. It is absolutely the doctors choice to discriminate against the poor, but its still wrong. Vision isn't a luxury, it's not a cosmetic splurge. It's disappointing that the Dr. here feels the need to gatekeep that precious ability.

As it turns out there are many other locations but the receptionist only mentioned going to the one I previously used. I didn't get the extended location list the first time I searched so I thought there were only 4. A better trained staff to retain customers for the entire company would help. I am hoping the other location takes my insurance but if they don't I will just take my business elsewhere.

The office staff and text are friendly and efficient. I loved Dr. Alesha Johnson. She is knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She explained my options regarding a changing prescription and my progressing cataracts. And, she’s a Henderson girl!

Dr. Robinson was so easy to talk to. She explained everything very well. She noted I was developing a cataract but told me that nothing needs to be done now but sometime in the future. She was so friendly I would recommend her to anyone who needed a new optometrist.

Everything was great. Dr openly talked to me about lasik surgery, optician was amazing. It made a bad errand not a bad time. I will continue to go back.

Probably the best, most thorough eye exam I have ever received. Dr. Johnson listened to me, explained my condition very well, took the time to insure my results will be as expected & did not push me for extra services. Also, staff that set my appointment, did preliminaries before & after seeing the doctor were very professional & helpful. Highly recommend this office & staff.

10/10 recommend this place. They were able to schedule me for an appointment very quickly. When I arrived, I didn’t have to wait for any amount of time during my eye examination. They’re very efficient and friendly!

When I was settling up, an employee noticed my glasses had some issues (missing nose pad) and asked if he wanted me to fix them. He brought them back three minutes later with two new nose pads and they were tightened up, for free! Everyone I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. :)

Called to see if they repaired glasses. The lady who answered the phone was nothing but nice and said bring them in and they would try. I went down there and was greeted with very friendly staff and they had my glasses repaired in about 15 minutes. On top of all that they did not charge, which was completely unexpected.

They Donated my glasses now I have none. I came in the office multiple times & asked for the frames but since I didn’t bring the old ones with me, I was never given the new ones. Now I have no frames at all. And I just take the loss on my money 🤣🤣 what a joke

Edit: it’s been 9 months since I was told the manager would reach out. They have not even attempted to do so changing rating from 2 star to 1 star

This Clear Vision on Water St. is the absolute BEST!! The doctor who gave me my eye exam and her assistant were Fantastic!! The optician who helped me choose the right kind of glasses that fit my face the best was also Amazing!! He helped me soo much!! Everyone who worked there was so warm and personable!! I would be more than happy to recommend my family and friends to this Clear Vision on Water St!!
