I've been going to Dr. Vi for many years and I can't say enough good things about her. Her whole team from front desk to assistants and hygienists are friendly and gentle. She is very thorough and explains everything clearly with such patience. Cleanings are top notch and I am so happy with the cosmetic fillings she's done on my front teeth. I've referred many happy friends and family and am so happy I have a dentist I trust.

I had my cleaning last week, and as always, it was such a great experience! They are incredibly thorough and never make you feel rushed. The entire staff is so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I drive 30 minutes just to see Dr. Vi and her team, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else! I didn't know that a skilled hygienist could perform a thorough deep cleaning in just under 30 minutes (for 286 Dollars) for R upper and lower quandrants when I haven't had any dental work of any kind in about 4 years. I am disappointed. They play games with patients. I received a call from another dental office after requesting a call from Dr. Raymond Vi. I had a question about my deep cleaning. Shortly after that, I received a call from another dental office. I never heard of them. I could hear loud laughter in the background. I understood what was going on. I assume that Columbia dental doesn't need my business. I would not recommend this office to anyone due to their in accountability and lack of professionalism.

This review is long overdue... I have been a patient of Dr. Vi and her team for about 4 years now. I found them from the many other positive reviews that many others have left. Now, I get to tell YOU myself that I couldn't have made a better decision in reaching out to Columbia Dental! Dr. Vi is one of the most kindest dental professionals and she has helped me each and every step of the way in improving my oral health. What started off as visits to the office to relieve toothaches (infections) has now become quarterly visits to see how everyone is doing (oh, and also get a cleaning). Throughout my journey, Dr. Vi and her team helped me with oral surgery, tooth extractions, and even referring me to get braces.
Dr. Vi and her team always listen to my needs and always take care of me. They always make me feel comfortable and put my oral health first. Every single time I visit the office, I feel like family and you will too! I've already told all my friends and family about them and now that I've told you, you should give Cindy/Chole (the most kindest and caring office professionals) a call and find out how they can help you improve your own oral health!

Dr. Vi and her staff are amazing. I had really deep decay and she was able to save my tooth from needing a root canal. She's very gentle and friendly and so are her staff. I never understood people not liking going to the dentist until I tried this office. They left me in horrific pain for over a week and I still gave them another chance. I was rewarded with them wasting my time and being dishonest about their pricing.
I have had bonding on my front teeth for decades and had a tiny chip at the bottom of my front tooth which happens frequently. It’s usually a very quick visit to repair, but my previous dentist sold her practice. I decided to give Columbia Dental a try. It is closer to my house and most of their reviews were very good.
They do not run on time so I was there for quite a while. As a new patient, they required a full set of panoramic x-rays. I finally did get my tooth repaired, it took a much longer time than ever before, but the work was good. After looking at my x-rays, Dr. Vi told me that I needed a root canal. I had no pain or issues with the tooth and it hadn’t even been 6 months since my last dental visit but she said most x-rays don’t show the area where the infection was and pointed out an area above my tooth root. Conveniently, they have an endodontist that comes to their office to do root canals. I met with him and he said it absolutely could not be anything other than an infection and even with the root canal, I had a 50 percent chance of losing my tooth so I scheduled the root canal even though I had a bad feeling in my gut about it.
I decided to take a strong antibiotic for the week before the root canal even though I had no symptoms of an infection. I’ve had several root canals and they were all easy and painless. This was different. He was very rough using what felt like a power tool drilling and stated he almost missed a root, but I figured the equipment probably changed over the years. The pain was indescribable. I took leftover narcotic painkillers and was in agony for a week. I could not sleep, crying uncontrollably holding ice packs to my face. My nose was pouring and my sinuses hurt on the side of the root canal and I had post nasal drip. The office contacted me after I wrote a review and I spent the entire week going to the office every single day to have my bite adjusted but it just didn’t help. Finally, I asked them if they would prescribe a steroid pack at the recommendation of a friend. They called in antibiotics and a steroid and after taking the steroid I was better in two hours. They said it was due to the severe infections (with no symptoms), but I think it was severe inflammation which is why the steroid worked so quickly. My nose continued to run for a week.
Dr. Vi is very nice and so is Cindy in the office so I decided to give them another chance. I called and made an appointment after I chipped bonding on my other front tooth and to get a replacement top mouth guard to wear at night. I was told a set of top and bottom would be $400. I figured that price was fine even though I just use the top. The first available was 8 days later during my work day so I put in for time off work. My appointment was for 2:00. They again took pictures and x-rays of the tooth even though it’s just a tiny chip at the bottom of the bonding. Then they bring in a bunch of different mouthguards to choose from and I tell them I just want the same simple mouthguard I’ve always used and pick out the one that I think is the closest to what my previous dentist gave me. Cindy tells me it will be $700, but I’ll get a set of four. I ask if I can just get one mouth guard for my top teeth and Cindy tells me no. I decide to skip it. Now, it’s been OVER 1 HOUR since my actual appointment time and Cindy comes back in and tells me that the dentist said my filling is going to take a very long time and she can do it at 4:00 (2 hours after my actual appointment), but it would be better if I just came back the next day. I used my sick time to take time off work and time out of my day to sit in their office and get nothing done to their bad time management and dishonesty about their pricing.

Just moved to Nevada and was looking up new dentists for our family. I checked my insurance provider list and called them up. I spoke to a "Cindy" who shows to be the office manager on the website. I let her know I was looking for a dentist and needed to confirm if my insurance was accepted. She asked what insurance I had and I let her know. She then abruptly says, "Oh, we are not taking new patients". I asked not even if we are new in the state? She said, "no." I asked if she knew of anyone who was and she cut me off saying, no. Before I could say that it states on the website that they are accepting new patients at ALL locations, she quietly says bye and hangs up. So glad I didn't get the opportunity to go in to what sounds like a ridiculous place. Very poor customer service, poor etiquette, and very poor management skills. I hope her boss knows she turned down 3 potential patients. After calling another place, I am blessed to say that they handled the call in a professional manner and gained 3 new patients. I would not recommend this place due to the improper handling of a customer call and service. I may not have gone into the office to have received this service, AND I am so glad I didn't have to. She proved to me over the phone just how they care for patients. I dislike writing these types of reviews but her manager or boss needs to know how poorly she handled my call and how abruptly she turned me away. I've worked as a manager more than 15 years in a healthcare setting and now work for your level 1 trauma center. I know how to deal with customers, patients, and families.
Stay blessed and hope you do not encounter this problem with this place.

Dr. V nor her staff takes accountability when they mess your teeth up. One of her staff members ruined my teeth and instead of her to show empathy she was more concerned with denying what she could see right in front of her eyes and her PRACTICE. Nor did she offer to fix what was done. The girl she had polishing my teeth was so discombobulated with foot pedal and the polishing device that water was everywhere, water got on my cheek and she was just going to leave it there and finishing making a mess. Yeah, everything is peachy cream at this dentist office until one of them Fs up your service and you say something. Will never return to this parlor or recommend any black women patronize this business.

Everyone at Columbia Dental from point of check in to my actual cleaning was amazing. I've been going to Columbia Dental for a couple of years since moving to Henderson. Our neighbor told us about Dr. Vi. So glad we found her. She is so sweet and caring. I found Columbia Dental around the corner from my house. A hidden gem by Auto Zone on Stephanie and American Pacific. I finally got dental insurance and made an appointment. They were not all about the almighty dollar. I've had 2 root canals and 5 fillings done here in the last couple of months. The front office staff is exceptional. So friendly!! You feel like you are in a great atmosphere. The interior of the office is beautiful. The staff in the back are so professional yet down to earth. They laugh with you and don't treat you like you are just another patient. After the x-rays we created a plan based on what is most important. Dr Vi and staff omg!! Just amazing. No rushing and printing out paper to force me into making an immediate decision. They showed me what I need, what insurance covers and what out of pocket I would pay. I wanted everything done and they made it happen. I was in pain and Dr Vi immediately jumped in to help. Everyone acted like I was family and I just knew I was in great hands. I freak out at the slightest thought of a drill but I felt relieved because they are really confident and have great teamwork. Dr Vi and staff talked me through my treatments along with regular chit chat about life, kids etc. I can't describe how amazing they made me feel. I already have appointments scheduled for my hubby and son. I highly recommend coming here. If you like modern dentistry with old school friendliness where everyone knows your name then this is the place to go. Unlike other places, they know how to treat their clients. Professional, kind, understanding and down to earth. Everyone in the office has a friendly, upbeat, kind personality. I never review anyone but I felt the need this time!! Love the dentists and staff! Very gentle and caring in their approach, as well as COVID-19 safe.I was in major pain and had to have a root canal and crown. It was my first time having these procedures and I was nervous. But both dentists made sure that I didn’t have any pain and they throughly explained the procedures before, during and after. I was having a problem with a broken tooth, and did not have a local dentist. I asked another teacher, who highly recommended Columbia Dental, so I made an appointment.
The exam was extremely thorough, and really showed me exactly what was going on with the bad tooth, and the condition of the rest of my teeth. I received top notch care from everyone; the assistant, hygienist and doctor.
Returning to see the oral surgeon. I received equally professional care.
Less than a week later, I feel so much better, and will be coming back for a deep cleaning in a couple of weeks. Thank you, Columbia Dental!
