Went to another dentist for a basic cleaning, they claimed I had periodontal gum disease and were pushing a tooth replacement as well as putting me on a large payment plan so I opted out.

Went here and got a 2nd opinion and the Dr showed me scans and says my gums were fine. Did a thorough teeth cleaning and polish and was in and out.

Good to see a professional family owned business that practices transparency. Thank you!

I’ve had two visits with Dr. G at Day 1 Dental, and both experiences have been great. Dr. G and his assistants are wonderful, friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

My teeth felt incredibly clean after my cleaning, and I also had a cavity filled. The filling was completely painless, and Dr. G talked me through everything he was doing, which really helped me feel at ease.

First, let me start by saying it had been over 10 years since I last went to the dentist because of my severe anxiety with going to the dentist. From the moment I walked through the doors of Day 1 Dental, I immediately felt at ease. The office was clean, welcoming, and filled with positive energy from Dr G and his wife, Asia. They listened to my fears and made it a priority to ensure I was comfortable from the very beginning. During my first exam, everything was explained in detail so I fully understood the state of my oral health with no confusion. I needed a deep cleaning with gum irrigation, two crowns, and three fillings replaced, but I was so happy that I wouldn’t be losing any teeth! LOL! 😁 I still have some minor work to do down the road once I get insurance, but the biggest hurdles are behind me. The shots are what make me the most nervous, but Dr. G applied a numbing gel beforehand and I barely felt anything. That alone made a huge difference in my experience, and the fact that he would always check in during any procedure to make sure I was good. For now, my treatment is complete, and I couldn’t be happier that I found this family owned dentist office. In almost 60 years, I have never found a dentist’s office where I’ve felt this comfortable. For the first time ever, I didn’t experience any anxiety at all before or during my visits. I will definitely be coming back. If you’re not completely happy or comfortable with your current dentist, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Day 1 Dental. You won’t regret it. 🦷

I had my first appointment a couple of days ago. Other patients who gave a 5 star review were right. I've been living in the valley for more than 25 years and also used to work in medical/dental ins company so I've known and been to quite several of them in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. This dental office will not disappoint. Very welcoming and friendly but professional. This is also the first dental office I came across taking pictures (not just x-rays) of my mouth showing very clear image of my entire mouth. Showing every teeth, their condition, gums, etc. and my visit is not a dental cosmetic appointment, this is just a routine exam and cleaning. Dr Gutierrez was very gentle, when it comes to cleaning (Yes, he's the one cleaning your teeth not a hygienist) and very thorough. Very detailed about the visit and treatment plan if needed. Find good dentists has been so difficult for me and the family. They either charge too much or they recommend unnecessary work.

This is why we switched to Day 1 Dental. They are super friendly and a family owned business. The office has technology that my other dentist didn't even offer. They give you a thorough run down if what's going on in your mouth, the nerves and the bones. It was so cool and I've never seen it before. I was impressed and this was before we even leaned back in the chair.

Once I laid back, I usually get worried, but Dr. G was super gentle and walked me through everything that was happening. I told him that another dentist recommended having 8 or 9 fillings done and a partial crown. When Dr. G looked at my teeth, he gave me a more honest assessment instead of what I need vs trying to gouge me.

I felt super comfy and appreciated the approach they take here. Even telling me that some of the work the other dentist wanted to do could actually cause more damage.

Needless to say, I think we finally found the dentist for us. My wife and my kids now go to them and I recommend them to anyone who's looking.

I had a fractured tooth that was killing me for the last 2 days. I called up and they were able to get me in that day. Probably the friendliest staff and Dentist I have seen in my 50 years. They use hydrosonic tools for cleaning and were able to numb my gums for a cleaning. My fear of dentists will disappear as I continue to visit this office.
