Over 10 years ago, when I was 18, I had a zirconia crown put in. It was always several shades whiter than my natural teeth, and because I have a wide smile, I was always a little self conscious about how obvious it looked.

My previous dentist always told me it looked fine and there was no reason to replace it.
When I brought it up with Dr. Vrenon at Desert Breeze, he took a different approach.
Before doing anything, he reviewed my X rays and explained that because he couldn't see through the old crown, he couldn't be sure what was going on underneath.
I'm so glad we decided to replace it. Once the old crown came off, there was visible decay that needed to be cleaned up. Now I have a new crown that blends perfectly with my natural teeth, and since it's visible on X rays, we can actually monitor the health of the tooth underneath. I’m really happy with both the cosmetic result and peace of mind being able to keep an eye on my oral health

This is the Best dental practice I have ever been to and I've been To a lot of Dentists during my long life. It's the most professional, well organized Dentist I've ever seen. Took my wife here to correct some problems with service she received from G4byGolpa. Her lower bridge broke, repeatedly, in the back where your molars would be. G4 replaced/repaired the bridge multiple times as it was an ongoing headache that just would not stop breaking. It broke again in the same spot, we waited to get it repaired, broke on the opposite side in the same manner. When we tried to get this finally handled, we find out G4byGolpa is out of business and their patient roster was absorbed by TrueDentistry. We went there first and she had a HORRIBLE experience. She has been through some very trying issues, but never cried in the dentist chair until that appointment. The dental tech was extremely rough and seemed to get more so after being told he was hurting her. She left after the appointment with small rips in each corner of her mouth. My dentist told me a place he would go in Red Rock. I called and they referred us to Desert Breeze Dental Dr. Vrenon. Oh.My.God. The absolute blessing that is Desert Breeze and Dr. Vrenon! The entire team made her feel truly cared for and not like a burden. They are so incredibly gentle with her and take their time to explain each step and why it is necessary. Checked with her every few minutes to ensure she was comfortable and asked if she needed a break. I cannot recommend this team highly enough!! Wonderful experience!! Thank you Desert Breeze Dental!

I've been seeing Dr. Vrenon and team for over 20 years. The office runs like clockwork. Procedures are very efficient. The team is also very accommodating when I've had an issue, eg broken tooth. He was tasked with removing 19 of my old rotten teeth and he had to perform surgery at times. I came here 8 months ago had dental Implants put in my mouth. All of them fell out except one. They said it was my fault my dental Implants fell out. They took all the money I had and now they don't even want to see me as a patient because I said I was going to contact the dental board and make a complaint against them. The Dentist isn't even aware I've been trying to contact him. I paid $14,000 in cash and now they will not give me a copy of my receipt that I paid. Stay away from this place

Dr. VreNon cured my dentophobia! I've never had such an experienced dentist who worked on my teeth. 3 root canals, 5 total new crowns with buildup and pain was minimal. I didn't even need to take ibuprofen for the pain and it was gone in 24 hours. They know what they are doing and the staff takes very good care of you. I LOVED getting to go to Desert Breeze Dental. They were a referral from my dentist in North Carolina and I could NOT be happier with the care they provide. Not only was everyone thoroughly interested in educating me about my teeth, how they worked and how best to care for them, everyone was INCREDIBLY kind. It was a genuinely great experience. I visited Desert Breeze because of a recommendation from a Dentist I typically go back home (to New York) to visit. I am terribly wary of the dentist, so there is that.

All I can say is, do not go to Desert Breeze unless you are prepared for a photoshoot. I was asked to hold extremely large metal tongs inside my mouth and pull my cheeks apart so that they could take pictures of my mouth with a camera. Not an X-ray, or a medical tool, but a Canon camera. With an on-camera flash. Yes I’m serious.

This process was humiliating and uncomfortable, and they put me through it twice. Sticking a large mirror in my mouth down to my throat in order to take pictures. Readjusting me, taking more pictures. Then once they were done, the dental assistant wasn’t happy with the photos and I had to start the whole humiliating process over again. I have never felt so degraded and violated by a dentist’s office and I have also never experienced this type of process or treatment in my life.

What does this have to do with a dental examination or making sure my teeth are healthy? Are these photos going to be used for social media? I have no idea. Once I was fed up, I took the metal tongs out of my mouth, asked if they do this every visit, they said yes, and I walked out.

Their claim was that they take the pictures to “show the patient the progress” - but honestly, who is interested in that? I look at my teeth every day.

I can’t stress enough how awful my experience was there, because of this odd practice. If you are not okay with this, DO NOT VISIT DESERT BREEZE.

I’ll also mention that they ask very odd questions on their new patient paperwork. Questions I’ve never been asked by a dentist before like, “would you say you are depressed?” And “what kind of a dental patient are you exactly?” How bizarre. No thank you.

I loved this place back in 2019. So I called to ask about making an appointment. I wasn't sure if they took my new insurance but she told me their insurance person wasn't in to verify so I could make the appointment now and it could be verified when they are in. The day of my appointment I still didn't know and I don't have the means to pay out of pocket at the moment. A lot of miscommunication, they didn't document the new contact number I gave them. Which resulted in them not being able to contact me. She also told me with an attitude "we have tried to contact you multiple times!" I needed to reschedule which they had a problem with but they didn't seem to mind a cancelation? I'm super bummed because I really liked this place in 2019. I wish they would have just documented the correct phone number when I called to make the appointment just a few days ago.

In the past I've had trouble finding dentists that were efficient in their work which lead to complications, a hole in my wallet and lower self esteem especially when I smiled. I had been going to the same dentist for a long time and was fine with the service that I was receiving there but they seemed a little outdated. A Friend said that I should try their dentist, so I agreed and on my first visit I was surprised how modern the office was and the level of service I received. The staff was very friendly and on my first exam they used equipment that my dentist did not even have. I have a crown replaced which I was happy with. Lisa was the person in the office that did this. She was terrible and lied to me wasting my time and money. I called and told her I was in pain and I was referred to Dr. Brizzee, she told me he was not available today, but his partner was there and available today, that was a lie. Then I drive all the way across town and get there and I ask if Dr. Brizzee works there. She said, no, but we have a dentist that can see, you, so she lied again. I had explained on the phone I needed a specific kind of Dr. for this due to extreme pain. She tried to get me to stay there and see a regular old dentist which I already had. I told her on the phone and in person that my regular dentist had already referred me to Dr. Brizzee. She then tried to give me a referral to the real Dr. Brizzee so that she could get a kick back. Terrible service and customer service, very shady. I would not recommend anyone to go there.

After numerous times of suspiciously badgering me to replace my fillings and as far as going on to lie that I now have cavities and slight decay in my filling areas, I went for 2nd opinion and guess what; came out with a clean bill of health! I made a hygiene visit after my normal cleaning & check up back in February 2018 for 8am on August 28, 2018. The day before my appointment, I received a phone call asking me if I could move back my appointment to 9am, I told them that I couldn't do 9am since I have to work. My response didn't matter and they said they can't see me at 8am tomorrow. I asked what happened to my appointment since it was booked 6 months ago and she said they were "double booked" and they couldn't take me, but they could take the other patient. There is no point in making an appointment with them, when you could be bumped by another patient. I can't control who they would rather take as a patient, but if you're going to cancel someone's appointment, have the courtesy to give them advanced notice so they can make an appointment with another dentist.

The only reason I didn't give one star is because the front desk people have always been super nice and pleasant. We've gone to them for a few years with no issues up until this last year. My husband went in for a regular cleaning and was told he needed two crowns. The dental assistant was so rough on his mouth when attempting to do the moldings, for example constantly hitting his front teeth with the metal equipment numerous times. After the first visit He requested to have a different assistant and yet they gave him the same one each time. It took three visits for them to finally get the moldings correct. At this point, my husband's mouth was in costant pain. And he ended up needing a root canal! No refund was offered other than the for the basic co pay for the office visit. We will never go here again
