Dr. Karthiek Narala took care of my son during his 12 day hospital stay. He was very informative and answered all questions put to him. He made certain that we understood what was needed and would be needed for recovery and future care. I recommend him to everyone. I have also been very satisfied with the care given my son by his father and everyone in his practice.

Drs. Narala (C and K) have helped me sort out complex cardiac, circulatory, and breathing issues. What I appreciate most is their tenacity in working through complicated medical problems, developing a plan for testing and treatment, and sticking with me throughout. As you get older, cardiac problems may require more than one simple test and medication. My case has been difficult but the Naralas (Chandra and Karthiek) helped me find answers, step by step. After a complicated angiogram recently, Dr. K sat on the foot of my hospital bed and patiently talked with me eye to eye. No rushing. He explained options and made me part of the decision-making process for my care. Both he and his dad seem to relish finding solutions and solving complex medical puzzles. The office is busy, no doubt, but I've found success by making connections with a few of the staff members whom I can reach out to when I need help.

Horrible front Desk receptionist. I'm a new patient and all of a sudden she says loudly "swipe your credit card here for your co-pay" I tell her I only have my DL and Medicare Card with me. She yells, "you leave home without your credit card for a Dr's app!" with her snide look and bug eyes for the waiting room to hear! I tell her she is insulting and has horrendous customer service. Then I left.

I seen Doctor Narala when admitted to Saint Rose Hospital. I will find another heart doctor to follow-up with. He dosent know or he straight up lied. Just a simple Google search of Hospital articles it's clear. Bradycardia does cause chest pain and it's the first symptom listed by the Mayo Clinic and other articles by well known hospitals.

My first appointment involved about an hour of waiting, which was acceptable. The ultrasound and stress test during my second and third appointments were handled efficiently, and the technicians were professional.
However, my third appointment with Narala to review the results has been entirely different. I was moved from the lobby to an exam room and have now been waiting for over two hours with no update or explanation. This is unacceptable. If appointment times are not going to be honored, there is no purpose in scheduling them. This level of disregard for patients’ time is unprofessional and disrespectful.

First I would like to say that my visit at Desert cardiology was wonderful! The nurse Aniya was very efficient and took great care of me along with Dr. Narala. I appreciate the patience and support I felt while being in this office and without the care I was given, I wouldn’t know what to do with my condition. Thank you Dr. Narala and his staff for caring and putting my mind at ease. Thank you!!

So far so good. I had to switch my cardiologist from another place due to insurance reasons, to Desert cardiology and I'm glad that happened. I am currently in the process of being diagnosed with POTS something my previous cardiologist dismissed. And I have severe health anxiety. I was about to reschedule, because I felt my symptoms were a little too much for me too deal with on this particular visit. They told me to go in the back to reschedule, but they asked if I wanted to be seen asap. So I was seen. I was in a very bad state as its hard for me to make it out to any appointments or any outing for that matter.
The entire staff was caring to my needs and went above and beyond when they didnt have to. They had knowledge about what I was going through with suspected POTS and anxiety to be mindful enough to leave the door open to my room to keep my mind at ease. And props to the staff for properly knowing how to take someone's blood pressure. Previous cardiologist staff did not and sent me in a full blown panic attack. Your arm should be at heart level not down by your side. So thanks for that lol
Dr. Choji listened to my every word and order test that needed to be done for POTS and was very knowledgeable. I feel like this is one step closer in the right direction. Thanks everyone!

What can I say? I’m extremely pleased with my care and the high level of professionalism and genuine concern for my well being. I greatly appreciate the senior Dr. Narala. My provider is Ms. Ting Ting and I only can say nothing but positive things about her. She’s always on time, her assessments skills are outstanding, she listens to me, she really tracks my progress and she offers me constructive and meaningful feedback. She’s highly professional as well as demonstrates loving kindness to me as another human being and patient. I feel seen and heard when she sees me in the office. She’s a true GEM. Special shout out today to the medical assistant today Aniya who treated me with such respect, care and kindness. Thank you also Don for being excellent in my sleep study issues and for putting me on the right path with my CPAP. Thank you Desert Cardiology for hiring the very best people in your office as well. Everyone there truly practices patient-centered care. Thank you and I’ll be back in three months for my follow up.

This place is run like the DMV not a doctor's office!! I've had a couple different appointments here and each time its the same thing. They staff are sarcastic, passive aggressive and say they're short on providers. Then you will be directed to up a room full of people all waiting in line. Mulitple appointments for the same time slot that that are overbooked. Average wait is about 2-3 hours UNTIL you are seen followed by an additional 1-2 hour wait time for doctor and nurses to finish the appointment. DO NOT GO HERE!!

She even completed oxygen and bills pressure check for my husband even though I was the patient. Even when I was leaving the office mgr was so nice. I highly recommend this Dr and office. Only thing was a longer wait than usual due to a call out. Which happens but they were apologetic about it.

Dr. Karthiek Narala is an exceptional doctor! He was able to improve my husbands quality of life by putting in three stents in his heart. My husband had been to another cardiologist at Mayo Clinic. He did not offer to help my husband. Dr. Narala studied my husbands complicated case and was willing to help. He is such an amazing doctor. We are so grateful that he cares so much about his patients.

My wife and I have been using Desert Cardiology and Vascular for 13 years. Our doctors, both Dr. C Narala and his son Dr. K Narala are excellent cardiologist and surgeons. Dr. C saved my wife's life in 2015 and Dr K saved me in 2023. They both take their time with you as well as both communicate with my GP and my pulmonary doctors to assist in our health issues. I initially saw Dr Narala in my early 60s for sinus tachycardia. I was given a very thorough work up with a battery of test. He repeats these tests every two years, due to my history. Dr Narala (senior) is very kind and caring. His son works alongside him and his Dr. Chandra Narala The staff that does the testing in the office and the front desk staff are some of the best in the city. The office is very efficient and well staffed! I see the same faces year after year and that’s a good sign. I decided I would see the nurse practitioner named Ting Ting. I am a registered nurse with a background and cardiac intensive care. Ting Ting is extremely knowledgeable, very compassionate, and willing to take as much time as you need to answer every single question.

Where to start. A year ago I was to have a lower back surgery. First I had an appointment with Dr Chandra Narala for a followup on my medications. When the Dr entered the room it was Dr Karthiek Narala. I really like both of the Doctors but DR Karthiek has always been special to me. He told me that I had some plack build-up in my arteries and because I was having surgery, he wanted me to have an Angiogram just to be sure. Well I didn't want to do the procedure because it may have hindered my surgery. Dr Karthiek talked me into the procedure. So on May 24th 2023 I had the angiogram, and on May 26th i had a triple bypass procedure.
Dr Karthiek Narala saved my life.
A year later, on April 30th 2024 I had lumbar surgery and am recovering as I write this.
I would walk a mile on broken glass for Dr Chandra and Dr Karthiek.

Dr Chandra Narala was friendly, informative, and awesome! I have gerd & a little bit of anxiety and wanted to make sure my heart is healthy so I went here to check. Thankfully to God after running an EKG echocardiogram the results said my heart was healthy. Doctor recommended some reading and studying material for me to relax. Negative thought patterns are a true problem in our society and it’s something I definitely need to work on. Thank you for informing me of what it was so I can get better. Hope you go get checked and ease your mind as well. God Bless you all!

My husband and I recently had a wonderful experience with Dr. Karthiek Narala. I credit his prompt actions with saving my husband's life. He was accessible during the hospital stay and post follow-up. He certainly has our trust. We highly recommend him.

I went to go to follow up appointment yesterday; it took an hour to see the doctor (it was the son, not the father) and when he came in, he said he had to take a phone call and stayed in the room while taking the call which was rude. He seemed annoyed by the fact I was there since nothing was wrong (so this all could've been done telehealth style), but I was still dealing with pain in hopes that it was going to show up in my veins ultrasound. I had my ultrasounds done when the doctor that day stated CLEARLY that I was done AND FREE TO GO. When I mentioned that, a loud voice boomed in a very mean tone saying "She just walked out and I left a voice mail." I never received any calls that day where it's to the point they literally only left a voice mail which my phone or any phone doesn't get a phone call notification for and when I went to the front desk asking if I was done, they said I was. Why would I walk out when I knew I had multiple appointments in a row AND I was there very early? Another thing was that the doctor kept mentioning how he was specifically specialized to the point he said I may need to go to Mayo Clinic for my issue which is ridiculous for just feet/leg pain since he didn't understand "anything that isn't the heart". Keep in mind, I'm only 21 years old and just wanted help and the only nice person that day was a very sweet black girl that was checking my vitals. I'm glad I don't have a cardiac issue so I don't have to go back.

Let Four stars mean something. Great system, Great Doctor. The only problem with good Dr.'s is the Age group. All the neurological Dx come into play. My only issue is the Audacity of cover up HR in most places will try and perform. (The Good Nurse #Netflix). This job issue is not work related. Check the stars. Just no, I will not tolerate a Mandala effect. So please As I preach Like most my google reviews! Law Suits! I hope and pray they will never be a patient. Cause I'm saying on this google review. Highly recommend both Dr. Naralas! They are kind, caring and experts in their field. However, their reception staff needs help. We called and left a message yesterday for an appointment with no response. We were unable to leave a message today because the mailbox was full. This appointment was requested by Dr. Narala. We understood they are undoubtedly busy, so we went to his office and was ignored for 10 minutes by his staff. You could hear them talking about personal issues. When we were finally greeted she was rude and talked over my husband. The lack of common courtesy and kindness is disheartening. Such wonderful doctors to have such an unpleasant staff. We of course will stay with the Doctors but hoping the reception staff improves. I'd love to give them an outstanding review next time we are in.

Doctor Chandra Narala is a kind, caring, thorough physician, however, getting to him is a nightmare. His reception staff is horrible. They never answer the phone. You're ALWAYS on hold for over 15 minutes if you have that time to wait. Pharmacies & insurance companies DO NOT have that time. They are rude and show no concern or urgency for the patients. This would be 5 stars had it not been for the reception staff.
They are the first people you see or hear, if they'd ever answer the phone. These employees should represent the physician not hinder him. Such a dissapointment.
HEART PATIENTS should not be experiencing such stress when trying to reach their doctor, get a prescription or handle an insurance claim. We come for care, not high blood pressure!
Doctors please read your reviews!!!

Long wait but pleasant once I got inside.
I was in a waiting room yesterday filling out the seemingly endless forms. The sign said masks were required to be worn. Everyone was wearing one except an elderly couple. A black woman came in without a mask. She was told immediately when she approached the receptionist that she must wear a mask. She put a mask on without objection, checked in and sat down, joining the still unmasked couple in the waiting room. The unmasked couple were soon called into the back. They were greeted and escorted back, still unmasked.

When you're in the door, they're not so bad! They did a whole suite of heart studies and test on me in February with no issues at all, no complaints - other than the long drive for me.
Since then, my health has taken a bit of a turn and my Neurologist suggested I talk to Dr. Narala about changing my medication, as some of my symptoms could be side effects of the beta blocker I was put on.
It has been 5 months. The first 2 weeks, I called every day and no one answered. 10 times i've tried through their website with the message to call me back and the list of my possible side effects.
Short of hiring an uber to drive me nearly an hour to their office, they basically DO NOT EXIST to this staff unless you are standing in their lobby. My pharmacist cannot even get in contact with them to double check the prescription.
It's very disheartening and incredibly nerve wracking. No amount of professionalism or talent in the office can make up for a complete lack of after-appointment support.

Drs.Karthiek Narala and Chandra Narala are what I wished every Dr.would aspire to be. I recently was dealing with some very serious medical issues involving DVT, pulmonary embolism and potential vein damage stemming from covid and a recent knee replacement that other doctors couldn't seem to figure out. Its as if they were listening time me but not truly hearing me and my concerns. Dr. Karthiek took me seriously and I believe prevented me from having long term vascular damage and clotting issues. Great doctor...EXTREMELY rude staff
Dr. Narala is the leader in his industry, but I would have to say that whomever is in charge of hiring his staff has done a poor job recently. More specifically, Richard in his office is EXTREMELY rude and apparently thinks that lying is also appropriate. If I would have to deal with him on a constant basis, it would make me think twice before seeing this doctor. Dr. Narala should really do something about this as the staff that calls your patients are an extension of what you do. If your patients feel distrustful of the people who call on your behalf, they will eventually seek other medical attention.

We were referred to Desert Cardiology shortly after arriving in Henderson in 2008.
Our experience has always been positive. Yes, we do wait to see the doctor at times but have not visited many medical offices where you don't wait.
In December of 2017 Tom had two stints put in and we have nothing but praise for the way they have taken of him.
Just 2 weeks ago I had a TAVR (heart valve replacement) done. The tests needed for the procedure started just before Covid-19 started closing everything down. Through the long period waiting for hospitals to open again Dr Narala kept in touch with me and made sure every test was up to date and pushed to get in done ASAP in case hospitals were shut down again. It took 7 months but I feel without the excellent help of Dr. Narala it could have been even longer.
If I could rate higher than 5, I would.

I saw him again yesterday and it occurred to me...he is a very busy man with patients waiting, and my time with him is limited, that is just a fact at any doctor in our valley. But, when I am with him I feel like I’m his most special patient, that we are a team, that the quality of my life means something personal to him. His staff is excellent, his office is set up for all the necessary heart testing. And this is huge....I’ve never had a problem calling for an appointment, a live person answers the phone. The best.

Regularly takes an hour AFTER your scheduled time to do the regular health screenings that every clinic does and then you are put back in the waiting room to wait another hour to be seen by the doctors, who won't even see you for 30 seconds.
After being called in to see the doctor I had to wait an additional 40 minutes before they even came into the room.
I had a sleep study done a few weeks ago and they still haven't called me to schedule the follow-up appointment.
If I hadn't already gotten the sleep study done here I would have gone to the other sleep center, At Home Sleep Studies, which is about 20-30 minutes away. But even then I wouldn't have to wait 2+ hours for a doctor to say "hello there, your test results are such and such, come over here so we can schedule the appointment."
If you care at all about your health and time, stay as far away from these people as possible. I know I will.

Outstanding, caring and life-saving. My husband and I owe a great deal to Dr. Narala. He took time to understand and manage the situation then followed up with the life-saving protocol. He and his staff are a credit to his profession. Thank you, Doctor Narala.

Fantastic doctor. Terrible billing practices. The medical advice is sound, but be extremely thorough with their billing. Make sure you fully understand how much your copay is, thoroughly track the service amounts at the time of service, track what your insurance company pays and track what shows up on the statement from this practice. Make sure you only pay the copay amount printed on the front of your insurance card.

Dr Narala is awesome! His staff is a other story. They don’t seem to care. If you’re suppose to call 24 hours
before procedure to cancel if something happens. How come there’s no one to there to take the call.
Then they charge you $300 dollars for not calling.
What are you supposed to do? I had no choice. I could not walk. I was up all night in pain. Terri Eisenhour

I saw three vascular surgeons before meeting Dr Karthiek Narala. He was the only one that helped me. He took his time and spoke to me not at me. His surgical team is first rate. The people giving the two reviews before me Could not be more wrong. Five stars is quite honestly not enough!

The wait times can be a little long, especially later in the day, but the staff are all friendly (and competent) and Dr. Narala is an excellent physician.

Dr. Narala is absolutely hands down an amazing doctor and compassionate man! I have Lupus which keeps causing pericarditis. Dr Narala has worked so hard to try to keep me well. It has been a year since he first walked into my hospital room and I am so grateful he did. Dr. Narala listens to me and takes my opinions of what I think is happening to my body into consideration. I hope I never have to change cardiologists. He is an amazing doctor and a compassionate human being.

The wait is over an hour EVERY time, the staff is passive aggressive or blatantly rude. The stress echo they did was grossly incorrect. The doctor has no bedside manner. Run!
