My PPO medical insurance changed from United Healthcare to Humana starting 1/1/26. My doctor and Inter Mountain are still listed under their network. When I give my new insurance card to the front office personnel upon arrival, she only checked her list and said my new insurance not accepted. I asked her to contact Humana, she refused and act like none of her business. After I took action to contact Humana representative myself, ask rep to talk to office manager, taking more than half an hour to finally get it resolved. The new Humana plan does work, the front person just NOT want to take effort look into it and very rude to the loyal customer. Apparently she really needs more medical insurance options education and treat costumers more politely.

I was very dissatisfied with this visit, as I follow the directions of my health journey to the tee from my doctors. Dr Averilla did not respect the relationship I have with my regular physician and my family lost a week of my family reunion. I was devistated.. we lost out money for hotel reservations and precious time with grandchildren. Canβt get that back.

The staff and Dr. Averilla are all so nice. You're greeted like family when you arrive at the office, and they actually care about you when they ask how you are doing. They don't rush you along. Dr. Averilla takes the time to go over every pre-appointment test with you while explaining everything good or bad..and the things you need to work on. You don't leave without knowing exactly what health regiment you should be working on that she feels is specific to your own personal well being. It's literally a joy to check in with my personal physician.

Dr. Averilla was my doctor for a few years and after she told me my brain was shrinking because I use marijuana, said there was too much radiation in MRI's to do a 2nd so soon (there is no radiation in MRI's), and made a pretty obvious medication slip, unfortunately I couldn't continue trusting her advice.
