Dr Vickers was the best of the best, I've ever met in many years. Brilliant! Engaged! Compassonate@ caring. Dr Vickerd Assistant Nurse, Samantha, took me to my car afterward for my safety. Noone ever has offered that to me at a medical appointment. They knew I was experiencing a very difficult time with my mobility. I can't even say enough how much I appreciated their care and concern over my eye condition and safety. I highly recommend and very rarely post a review.

I have been a patient of Dr Vickers for about 7 years. In this span of time my appointments always have a wait time of 30+ mins. Once I’m taken back my appointment is no more than 5 mins. I have multiple issues with my medication refills being denied with no reason given then after 10 calls 10 transfers and 10 voicemails I’m told oh you have to be seen. Again after 10 calls, 10 transfers and 10 voicemails no appointment and still no refill. I’m not sure who is in charge of scheduling/refills or communication with patients but who ever it is does not know how to correctly and effectively follow up with patients. Hopefully my medication will get refilled or I get a call back?

Edit: i got seen. im too utterly exhausted to update. my eyes hurt a ton rn. im crying bc it hurts so much yesterday/today but i think my next appt ill just go nonverbal bc bringing up my pains & problems did nothing, if i even make it for a next time. its so hard to read what im typing like my eyes dont work right. feeling extremely hopeless.

Edit: 9 days in the hospital before i ever got to see this dr. my lumbar pressure showed the highest pressure in my head they have ever seen, others w papilledema dont last this long without vision loss or eye pain in some way…..can i please please see Dr Vickers now??? ive waited in severe pain for over a year. i tried the opthamologist for a 2nd referral As Per this offices “requirement” but she strung me along for 3 visits last year & then refused to write me a referral or help….its crazy ive had two eye drs tell me my optic nerves are swollen, i need to get this checked immediately. im also an established patient in this building with the other neurologists. PLEASE MEDICAL BOARD RECONSIDER.LOOK AT MY HOSPITAL NOTES IM BEGGING. i also have better insurance so please take me.

My eyes hurt, Ive said this on my multiple appts in the same building as dr Vickers, i am seeing the other neurologists in this practice, they see and agree im sick. my field of vision test at the opthalmologist had black spots last year…so i wish this neuro opth would see me. i need a true professional on my side.
very swollen optic nerves & migraines since at least march of last year . i have ZERO quality of life & lay in bed all day. still trying to get in to see dr Vickers, her reviews look so good she sounds so nice. i wish theyd at least schedule me.

I rarely write reviews for anything but as I told Dr. Vickers at my last visit, she truly is a wonderful doctor who cares deeply about finding out what ails her patients. I was super impressed w her willingness to turn over every stone she could think of to diagnose my eye issue, as well as advocating for my better overall health care by recommending a general internist. Extra points for dealing w my retired doctor brother on the phone :)

Worst neurology office in Las Vegas. Scheduling staff doesn't answer and cancels your appointment day of with a text message telling you to get ahold of them and to reschedule, but it's been a week and still can't get them to answer. Scheduling department. Tell your doctor you need a different referral this place is the worst to get referred to.

I found Dr Vickers very kind, knowledgeable but more importantly, easy to talk to. She spoke clearly for me, making it easy for me to understand. She explained many possibilities and and ways to move forward. But her best advice was to tell me to wait...be patient. That there was a good chance my issues just may rebound on their own...and, they did. Her examinations were thorough, and she reviewed each one with me. I've been seeing Dr. Vickers for a few years now and hands down has been 1 of few Drs that actually listens to me and advocates for me. My previous neurologist prior didn't want to help the problem just wanted to refer me back to my ophthalmologist who referred me to him in the first place. She also takes the time to make sure that you understand treatment, procedures, and options and takes time to answer all of your questions. Her direct staff is amazing also!!!

My experience was good. This was my first time meeting Dr. Vickers. She and her team were attentive, friendly, patient and caring;. I didn't get the sense of rush or my issues were all made up or there wasn't any help, so take these pills and good bye. She wanted to know about me my issue, past, family, the works, so they could help find a solution, not just a band-aid for the time being.

Dr. vickers is a great and caring doctor. Your phone service needs to improve. It took me four days to talk to an actual person to make an appointment. I just kept getting sent to voicemail. by the third day, the voicemail was full and nobody had called me back yet I even tried to call the new patient line and waited on hold for hours. I text the number and left a message and somebody finally called me back hours later only to send me to another voicemail. you have a great doctors you should be able to do better than that.
