Went to the ER for chest pain. Images and cardiac work up showed I needed emergency treatment. The ER physician and team sent me to the cardiac cath lab quickly. Dr. Bhatti was there waiting. However, he told me and the ER team there was no concern for treatment. He then informed me that meds would be called in to my pharmacy, and to schedule a follow-up in his office.
The ER physician stated I needed to immediately go to another ER with the documents provided to me. I had checked into another ER. Immediately taken to the cath lab and treatment provided. A few days later I looked at my patient portal, the reports were updated to help protect Dr. Bhatti. Glad I kept the original, which shows a significant difference between the 2.
Wow! Glad I had an ER team to advocated for me, documents to prove changes made to the cardiac work up.
I'm now seeking a lawyer to sue!
