Dr. Candace Spann is amazing! She saved my life from skin cancer. I have been seeing her for years for dermatology and cosmetic treatments. Her and her husband are the best doctors. They are both so friendly and thorough. When Dr. Spann greets me, she somehow seems to remember so many personal details about me, asking me about my daughters. She is remarkable, and she makes me feel like more than just a patient. I trust her with my care completely. I feel blessed to have her as my doctor!

When you get diagnosed with breast cancer, the range of emotions that you experience are vast, real and deep. Trying to navigate everything while being scared to your core that you may not survive. Making sure that you get the best doctors (that fall under your insurance of course), making sure your family and close friends know how much you love them and how strong you are, accepting that this will by far be the hardest part of life you’ll ever go through. You navigate so many thoughts like; “am I going to die?”, “am I strong enough to do this?”, “am I going to need chemo and radiation?”, “will my children have to bury me?”, “will my spouse be a widow?”, “am I doing to lose my breasts?”, “will I be able to get plastic surgery for fake breasts so I at least feel like a woman?”, “will I lose my hair?”… the questions are forever never ending.

One thing you should NEVER have to question or worry about is, “will the plastic surgeon I meet with be rude, unkind, lack empathy, lack compassion and be downright cruel?”.

Well I am here to make it known that with Dr. Spann, you will get rude, zero empathy, negative zero compassion, and 100% cruel. And you’ll pay him to be all these things.

A very close friend of mine is going through breast cancer. She was diagnosed with IDC (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of no specific type, triple negative). At the time of the start of her journey in October 2024 she was estimated stage 3 as there is lymph node involvement. She is not Bracal positive, her cancer is independent of hormones. She is a wife, a mother of 2, a friend and a great human being. She went to meet with Dr. Marvin Spann hopeful, and positive that he would be able to make a horrific chapter in her story just a little brighter. She entered the room and sat anxious and scared, wondering if he would agree to do her surgery - and remove a set of breasts, thus playing a key role in saving her life. Dr. Spann enters the room - and instead of introducing himself and getting to know my friend, blurted out “Oh, you’re a smoker, I don’t know what you think I’ll be able to do for you here.” Wow… way to start right? It gets worse. My friend knowing that this is life or death, she will do whatever it takes… Dr. Spann finally gets into discussion of what would need to place for him to do the surgery… 8 weeks pre op no smoking and 4 weeks post op no smoking. My friend immediately said no problem. She stated she would not be able to quit cold turkey, but a patch will immediately start her in direction of quitting. She has done it before, but has been a smoker for over 30 years. He said no. No nicotine at all or this is a “waste of my time and won’t help”. Okay, maybe she needed the reality check - but some bedside manner would have been great. Dr. Spann and my friend begin talking about the different types of procedures - he mentions one that will remove fat from your stomach, and create some boobies… but end his explanation with “But I’m not sure how that would benefit you as you have a lot of fat around your stomach already.”

My friend left in tears. She left feeling hopeless, ugly, defeated, beat down and feeling like breast cancer isn’t the worst of her problems. She went to a doctor/surgeon for help… and left feeling she isn’t worthy of it.

I would never in a million years recommend Dr. Spann with Couture Dermatology and Plastic Surgery to anyone. Not for an elected surgery, not for cancer related surgery, not for anything. I dug through reviews and found my friend isn’t the first person to experience this kind of thing, and unfortunately she likely won’t be the last. I’m thankful that this took place because so many reviews also report he is not a good surgeon, and has ruined many people. I’m thankful God stepped in and directed my friend far away from this place. If you’re considering surgery for any reason - stay clear of Dr. Spann at Couture Dermatology and Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Spann is extremely knowledgeable in her profession. She takes great precautionary measures for her patients overall medical well-being, she leaves no stone unturned which exemplifies her level of genuine concern. She is very personable and has impeccable bedside manners. I highly recommend her. She's

My Dermatologist referred me to Dr. Candace Spann after he told me he did all he could for me.
I am so happy I stuck with her treatment plan because I am seeing results. It took a couple years but I stuck with it and am now elated instead of hopeless.

Dr. Candace Spann was incredible. Super patient, thorough, and very nice. I came to her for a checkup after having-a-less than desirable experience elsewhere and she was wonderful. After finishing paperwork there was just about a 10 minute wait and that was it. I'm so thankful to have found her!

I can't say enough great things about my experience with Dr. Candace Spann. First off, her staff is amazing. Valerie, Cynthia, and everyone I encountered were immensely warm and welcoming.

When I initially called to book, her first opening was 4 months out. I asked Valerie about a cancelation list, and she said she'd add me to it. Well, about 30 minutes later, Valerie reached out to inform there had been a cancelation for the following business day. I can't thank Valerie enough, she's a miracle worker.

Now for Dr. Spann. There just aren't enough words to describe what a special human she is. I've lived all over the country and traveled all over the world. I've worked in the entertainment industry for nearly 2 decades, so I know instantly when I meet someone who possesses the 'light'. Dr. Candace Spann has that light. She's a very special human and doctor. She's astoundingly knowledgeable in her kraft and all related modalities. Her passion for it overflows the room. You will be overjoyed with your decision to work with her.

Dr. Spann developed a strong treatment plan for me, and was even able to begin the first phase of that plan same day. I was supposed to be there solely for a consultation, so needless to say, I was surprised and elated to begin actionable treatment the first day.

Overall all, I'm beyond happy with my experience here. I'm very excited about my prognosis and beyond confident in the results we'll yield. I feel fortunate to have found this gem. Thanks again guys for all your help.

Dr Spann is one of the most compassionate doctors I have met in a long time. And as a chronic illness patient - I see A LOT of doctors. She is knowledgeable beyond just dermatology. She spent time with, answered all of my questions, and promised to get to the bottom of a very complex health issue I have going on. She is willing to confer with many other doctors to figure this out and instead of writing me off or passing me along (like every other doctor has in town, she’s offering different paths to get to the answer. She said we won’t stop til we figure this out. She is so much more than just a dermatologist! Her staff was exceptional (esp. Lydia) as well, very communicative and helpful. I can’t thank my friend enough for recommending me to her. It’s hard to find rare gem doctors like her!

I am very happy with this doctor and this office. I have been going here for over a year now and have had many appointments (due to the large amount of moles I have). I've never had to wait long, I've always gotten right in. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Candace Spann is wonderful! She actually takes the time to give my moles a complete examination. She will take pictures of them, measure them and then mark the dimensions. I've never had a dermatologist do that before and I've been to plenty. She'll answer all of my questions and explain things to me (which is very important to me) and she is always happy and friendly. After 15 years of searching for a good dermatologist, I think I found her. She is the best dermatologist I've ever had.

I was most impressed with my first doctor's visit with Candace Spann, MD.
My hair had been shedding (zip lock back full) for months. After seeing four different doctors, and having blood drawn, twice, it was determined I was fine because my blood work results were the "normal range."
Dr. Spann took me serious and didn't dismiss my concerns, as she listened intently than shared her story.
She was the only doctor that discovered a few things were off with my blood work. She's very detailed orientated.
I haven't had a doctor explain health issues in detail like that in years. She is so very intelligent and charismatic doctor, and shows she cares about her patients.
I've been using her ReTress hair products she created, and I can see a difference in just two days.

It is the most terrible experiment I've had so far. I booked my appointment 3 months out. I showed up 20 min early to complete all the paper work since I am a new patient. Here I was, waited for an hour. I checked up with the front desk (the lady was pleasant but that was the only good thing happened) and found out that they double booked my appointment, and Dr. Spann was behind schedule. And it looked like they had no intention to see me anytime soon. Enough said, I walked out without even seeing her. I am extremely disappointed since Dr Spann was recommended to me my family member. It was a waste of my time because I could have spent that hour looking for a better doctor with greater professionalism.

After losing over 100lbs I had loose skin. I was recommended to see Dr. Marvin Spann. He took the time to walk me through what my options were and what to expect. Surgery went smooth and post op things went great. He works wonders! I recommend him to others all the time and will be back for my next procedure!

I called this morning as I found a cyst in my chin area that seemed to grow overnight and thought I should see Dr Spann about it. They offered me November of this year! As my doctor for many years, I had assumed for an emergency Dr Spann's office would fit me in immediately, as I'm not sure if this is serious or not. I was very disappointed in the lack of concern for a patient or the attitude I heard on the telephone.Obviously, even in an emergency situation there is no way for me to see the doctor immediately to determine whether or not it is a serious situation.

It’s been three years since I was treated for a painful leg sore by Dr Candace Spann. She was pleasant, interested and knew exactly what to do. After treatment the sore never came back. I’m 74. I recommend her highly.

I have been waiting since AUGUST for "the best" doctor to treat hair loss, as I continue to lose hair. This is horrible. My appointment is not until DECEMBER. Is there another "best" in Las Vegas????

They are listed as accepting new patients but book at least three weeks out. A lot can happen with a medical condition in those three weeks.
