Just the utter lack of respect for people’s time. They regularly see you 1-2hrs AFTER your appointment schedule. They often forget to order your prescriptions on top of that 😮‍💨👍

My urologist Dr. Wise is trying to get me into surgery ASAP! I could have been in surgery earliest July 27th latest July 31st but because I couldn't get schedule till the 30th with Dr.Tsai for an EKG and approval till July 30th! Now I'm looking at surgery the earliest August 6th and the latest August 13th! His office team could have fax over my ekg and approval to dr. Wise office/scheduling the day I saw Dr. Tsai on Thursday july 30th for.my approval and ekg but instead his nurese decided not to send my ekg and approval. 🤷 For some odd reason his nurese don't see my surgery as important and keep prolonging me from my surgery!! Guess I'll be reporting his staffs license to the medical board for incompetence just like I reported Dr. Patino my first urologist who allowed my health to get this bad in the first place. Dr. Wise scheduling team told me July 31st said if Dr. Tsai staff doesn't fax over the ekg and approval by Monday August 2nd this will prolong my surgery again. Dr. Tsai is a good man and great doctor but his medical staff is really hurting his profession and patients with their laziness, negligence, and neglect. I feel like I'm in the Twilight zone and can't get adequate treatment 😕 Also reading a lot of these reviews I believe if his staff doesn't like your tone of voice they make getting adequate treatment harder by retaliation.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and I like it a lot. It’s a small office but the staff is very professional and prompt. Dr. Tsai is excellent and has good table side manner. He seems to genuinely care about his patients which I truly appreciate. So far, it’s been the best experience I’ve ever had for a primary care doctor. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Of all the dozen of doctors I've seen, Dr. Tsai is the one I trust the most. He stays up on current tech. He is open to listen to my concerns as well as my thoughts on causes. He tries to understand, not preach. He'll be even carried his notebook computer with him to the exam. He improved my health greatly. even catching a cancer before it became dangerous. I can't thank him enough.

Wow, we just got off the phone with the little admin for this doctors office July 23erd 10am…… after listening to my wife explain that this office is in our network, this woman admin, not even an associates degree lets out a sigh as we disturbed her second breakfast. Then asks if we are in Medicaid after telling her our insurance is anthem. Then she explained why we have to find out what type of insurance it is before she can schedule us with out even looking our insurance up. This front desk has set the standard for a lack of respect, horrible introductions and a generally lazy office. You should be proud of this one dr Edward get your girl dude ..

I had such a great experience as a first time patient of Dr Tsai. I needed a PCP and was referred from my other doctor. Making an appointment was easy, the front desk staff is very thorough on the phone, checking me in, and even on the way out. The MA/Nurse was incredible, so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. Dr Tsai is awesome! He was so patient with me and answered all my questions and reassured all my concerns. He had a great explanation for anything I was brining up to ask about. He’s so friendly & so professional. I’ve never had a male doctor before and couldn’t be happier after meeting him. I felt heard and respected. It was such a smooth and painless appointment. So glad I was referred to him!

Side note: a negative review on Yelp said he was in his 70’s which made me nervous. That is incorrect. Dr Tsai must be in his 40’s/early 50’s if that. That was a false Yelp review.

Easy parking, easy paperwork, just bring your ID, Insurance card & prepare to pay your copay or deductible. Please learn how your insurance works before blaming an office for their billing codes. Anything beyond a yearly/no issue physical will most likely be billed differently. Be prepared to pay towards your deductible or get different insurance. :)

I recommend this office! 10 outta 10!

Disappointing Lack of Communication and Responsiveness at Dr. Edward Tsai's Office

As a long-time patient of Dr. Edward Tsai's office, I've witnessed a decline in the quality of service over the past few years. While Dr. Tsai himself has always been competent and caring, the same cannot be said for his office staff. Recently, I encountered a frustrating situation when I urgently needed a prescription refill. Despite making two phone calls to the office and leaving detailed messages with the front desk, I received no response for over a week. This lack of responsiveness is unacceptable, especially when it concerns crucial medications. What's even more disappointing is Dr. Tsai's apparent disconnect from the issues within his own practice. The fact that he didn't personally follow up, or ensure that his staff addressed my concerns in a timely manner, speaks volumes about the level of care and attention to patient needs. Regrettably, after nearly a decade of loyalty, I was left with no choice but to seek medical assistance elsewhere. It's disheartening to see such a decline in communication and professionalism within a healthcare setting, especially when there are numerous other competent doctors in Las Vegas who prioritize patient well-being.

In conclusion, while Dr. Tsai may possess the medical expertise, his office's lack of communication and responsiveness ultimately detracts from the overall patient experience. I would advise prospective patients to carefully consider their options and prioritize finding a doctor who values and prioritizes their health needs.

Best Dr I have ever had. Been with him since 2007. Over the years, my health has changed from this to that, severe to not, and he's always been there for me. I felt like I needed to leave a longer review than just "I've been with him since 2007."

The woman who runs the front office staff (omit name as that's private information) who runs the front has been there for a while now. She's very nice and even when it's super over the top crazy busy, she answers questions the front office staff have.

It's hard to imagine that the first time I found Dr. Tsai I was just 27 years old. And now in 2023, I'm 43! I was in Las Vegas six years when I found him. And I've never gone to anyone else unless I had to see a specialist. When your health changes over time from your late 20s to mid 40s, and as women, we know the changes that come in that time, it's important to have one Dr you can trust to know your whole real adult history (pretty close to it at this point when I found him). He was so young himself then. Just a nurse and a receptionist. As the years have gone by, it's gotten a lot busier and though I'd like to be selfish and wish for the days I could call at 8am and be in at 8:30am, haha, I'm happy he's doing so well.

Dr. Tsai is very kind. He has an old school approach to his visits. He wants to check all vitals and with that you might not see teledoc with him anytime soon haha, but that's okay. He now has a service that text messages you when medication has been sent to the pharmacy, and that's nice.

Dr. Tsai will always do his best to make sure all of my general, albeit, extensive haha, needs are taken care of and anytime he has referred me to a specialist, it's been a pretty good experience.

16 years is a long time and so many things come and go in our medical needs. I like that he is the one who knows and understands them all.

I called because I was interested in becoming a new patient. A person named Nikola answered and immediately placed me on hold. She proceeded to check back every 2-3 minutes to inform me to still hold. Finally, she came back after over 10 total min on hold, and I explained to her I’m interested in becoming a new patient. She rudely said, “I’m going to need to place you on hold”. She started playing the hold game again checking back, and I tried to voice my concern before being placed on hold for about the 6th or 7th time. Every time though, I can’t even respond and was quickly placed on hold. I am working too and my time is valuable. Poor first impression of what to expect from your office staff and likely you. I’ll go elsewhere.

Ridiculously unprofessional. Waited 25 mins to be let in (after appt .time), plus another 38 mins for a doctor to come into the room (left at that point). When asking front lady reason for delay at the beginning, she responded with: "You know, peoples health problems are serious" - which I never assumed they were not. When wife called to follow-up, same lady said if we didn’t like it we can go to any other doctor. Super rude and low level of service.

Would not recommend Dr Tsai! I had to see him 2 times just to get him to understand that I needed a pre-authorization in order to get a necessary vaccine. Which he never really understood so I had to call his office (they never call back by the way) they finally told me he wouldn’t do it because it was too expensive to order, thats what the pre-authorization to insurance are for! Im not ok with someone wasting my time so they can get extra payouts. And the office staff is clueless and rude. Such a wast of time.

EDIT: Since submitting this review I was billed an additional $18 for a total of $115 for my free check up! Also their main argument for billing me the way they did was that it was NOT a check up but it says check up right on the bill! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Completely incompetent! I came in to see Dr Tsai for my regular check up which I told them when I made the appointment and multiple times while I was there. During my check up I mentioned the fact that I have a hard time breathing while running. This somehow turned my check up into coming in for shortness of breath. I've mentioned this to other doctors and been prescribed an inhaler without being charged. Check ups are covered by my insurance 100% with no deductible. Whatever they put me in as is not covered at all until reaching my deductible. So now I'm out $96 because they don't know how to do their job! I was very nice when I called to explain this to them and they were extremely rude and argued with me. I highly recommend finding a better doctor!

I have been seeing Dr. Tsai since 2007 and he has always been attentive and concerned with all my families needs and issues. I first met him while in the hospital for an emergency surgery and he was assigned to check on me afterward. His bedside manner was so great that I chose to stick with him as my PCP ever since. After the introduction of the ACA he seems to have taken on quite a few new patients which means longer wait times in the front office, however, he still takes just as much time during the appointment making sure he addresses all of our needs thoroughly. I have recommended him to all of my friends and everyone has always come back satisfied. I've even had a few clients of mine try to recommend him to me not knowing that he was already my doctor! Lets all be honest, we normally wait in a doctors office, and if we don't, then the doctor probably isn't doing his job with the people before you and won't do a good enough job for you either.

All doctors in this town are overwhelmed. Dr. Tsai takes the time with his patients to address their concerns. He is one of the best I've had in this town. For those of you complain about waiting, I've not been to a doctor here where that is not the case, and I've waited less at Dr. Tsai's than at others, for sure. Dr. Tsai is great -- his staff is friendly and courteous.

This place is horrible. The Dr is always rushed and has no real concern for the patient only the money. I had to pay out of pocket for my last visit since they no longer take my health insurance. OK, no biggy however waiting three hours for an appt is ridiculous. Then when you are finally called he is so rushed that it really doesn't matter what is wrong with you. He prescribed me Chantix the starting pack. I asked him that day what about the continuing packs (refills) as it is a 12 week program. He said to me, "call back in when your ready for your refill and we will call it into the pharmacy". SO today I called and the receptionist says that I need to come in and see the Dr again, even though it was a month ago that I was there. He refuses to refill my ambien as tho its some form of oxy and he won't refill any of my other meds that I have been on for years either unless I come back to see him. Makes no sense why should I have to pay every month for an appt just to get some pretty basic refills. I found a new Dr and I will not be going back there. This has been my worst experience to date and most ironic of it all is you see alot after waiting three hours and people coming in and out all day picking up refills for pain medications yet chantix and ambien require another appointment. SMH just isn't how someone should do business. You are better off staying far away from this Dr's Office.

Very confused dr. acts as if he doesn't know exactly what he is doing. You will leave getting the feeling that he doesn't know what it is he is doing. Like he is unsure of himself.
After so many visits for the same issue you will finally get the idea that he really doesn't know and have a clue regarding what he is doing. Just one script after another.
Try someone else. His not worth the $$$ and the headache regarding the visits and not getting the service and help you need. And after the 2nd visit you will feel as if he might be a little young and over his head for some stuff and not exactly the right person for your concern, after to many visits.
But for the flu and a cold his great. But so is CVS and Walgreens.

Try a different Dr.
