Little Roots Pediatrics has been exactly what we were looking for when researching care for our little boy and Tran has been absolutely incredible with him and us! Tran is kind, approachable, knowledgeable, and always answers all of our questions with patience and care.

Also want to mention how Tran truly went above and beyond for us when our little boy was sick for the first time at 4 months old. We were nervous and when things seemed to take a turn with his breathing/congestion one day after hours, Tran was absolutely our hero and offered to meet us at the clinic after she had already was home for the day! We couldn’t thank her enough for caring for our lil guy so much that she did that and got him on the right course of treatment immediately which helped him recover so much quicker!

Im a first time mom and my husband and I came in for my sons first pediatric apt. Monday November 10th. I also have postpartum depression and was an emotional mess and been so overwhelmed and scared that I wasn't doing anything right the first few days after delivery. Dr. Tran was so kind, reassuring, compassionate and helpful answering all my questions. I'm 34 and have never felt so lost, scared and helpless. Having Little Roots as our concierge pediatrician has been an incredible experience from start to finish. Dr. Shi and Tran are everything you could hope for—responsive, kind, and genuinely caring. As first-time parents, we were nervous and overwhelmed, but they went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and confident. During our daughter’s first week, they called us every few days just to check in on her—and on us—which really made us feel taken care of.

Tran and Dr. Shi have been my children's pediatricians since 2022, and I was drawn to their clinic for several reasons. First, they don’t pressure parents to stick to the recommended schedule if you're hesitant about administering multiple at once. If you prefer to take it slow and do one or two at a time, they will work with you to create a plan that suits both you and your child. Unlike many pediatricians who may be pushy, Tran and Dr. Shi are understanding and accommodating.

Second, they are available for last-minute concerns, even after hours, if your child is unwell (within reason, of course). The fee is definitely worth it, knowing that I can bring my kids in whenever they need to be seen or examined. Tran is incredibly kind and consistently goes above and beyond for her patients. Dr. Shi also provides valuable advice on safe supplements whenever I inquire about them, which I truly appreciate. Thank you, Little Roots!

I truly wish I could bring my family here as finding a holistic or even just a GOOD pediatrician in this city has been so unbelievably stressful. I understand why they don’t accept any insurance but it would really be beneficial for the families that care about holistic practices but can’t afford $hundreds of dollars monthly on children health care…. To truly care about helping the community you’d be resourceful to more people not just those who have an extensive amount of extra funds for monthly out of pocket health care for their children.

As first time parents, it was important to us that we found a pediatrician who would be there to support us through all our questions. We didn’t want to wait for hours in waiting rooms and decided concierge medicine was the way to go for our daughter. Although we have great insurance, we felt the monthly fee would be worth it. And it sure is! Dr. Shi is wonderful. She has answered after hour texts and calls and always makes time to see our daughter if we have any concerns (even for a diaper rash :). love the fact that we see her monthly this first year as our daughter is growing. We couldn’t recommend Dr. Shi more and we are so glad we found her.

Thank you so much Little Roots Pediatric and Tran Lyons for the time, knowledge, and care given to my grandson. I came to Las Vegas to help my son find the right pediatric care for his newborn. My first grandchild. Especially with them being first time parents this service sounded amazing but wasn’t sure exactly how it might go!!!!
I was so amazed by the time Tran gave and the knowledge she gave!!!! Hard to put into words the experience we have had. But almost to good to be true….. but the time she devoted at our well visits and the responsiveness to our questions that come up later is simply the Best!!!

Dr. Shi is by far the BEST! She will give you undivided fully uninterrupted time explaining what's need to be done. My son has a really bad asthma and she has be an angel to my little one. We have avoided going to emergency room since Dr. Shi is there to answer all our questions and guiding us to what we need to do. Not only does she guide us to want medication to give, she educated us what to do to heal the the underline issue. I am VERY HAPPY with the service.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Shi. We started taking our (now) six month old to her several months ago and she’s been so helpful addressing all our concerns and helping guide us through everything from switching to formula, introducing foods, vaccination timelines and concerns, sleep patterns etc.

Dr. Shi is the best!!! Our daughter loves her and gets excited to go to the doctor. She is warm, personable and and all around lovely person. She is knowledgeable and makes us feel at ease with our questions and concerns and gives the best advice! She takes the time to listen to each concern we have. Especially on how to get your child to eat better!! We never feel rushed at appointments which is a huge plus!!!! We love Dr. Shi!! We have been seeing her since our baby was born, and have had a great year with her as our pediatrician. We are in and out within 30 mins, yet have never felt rushed through an appointment. She gives great suggestions and has a very open mindset, we have never felt pressured to do anything yet completely trust her guidance. She truly cares about her patients, and it has been the best experience for us as parents! Dr. Shi is the best and truly provides an amazing service for my family. She provides her patients personalized care, thorough evaluations, and a forum to discuss treatment options. No one size fits all, or overmedicating when you see her for a visit. She is patient and listens to concerns and questions and takes the time with you when you need to go into the office. Dr. Shi is also responsive when you reach out to her directly. She even responds quickly when she is out of town. I am so happy we found her! Dr. Shi has been our saving grace! As first time parents we wanted a doctor that we knew would feel comfortable with and someone that personally knew our baby. She is so kind, helpful and always available. Dr. Shi is our secret weapon, not just during cold and flu season, but all the time. She is like that first round draft pick for the NHL where you get the all star goalie that lets no virus pass!

COVID put us through some trying times getting urgent care when we needed it, so we opted for direct access care. Dr. Shi responds with the quickness from the convenience of your phone or home computer with virtual visits. She has a wonderful bedside manner and will spend the time it takes to not just answer your questions but ensure she gets a holistic view about the wellbeing and development of your child. For us, her diagnosis history for both our kids has been spot on, so she's been quick to treat infections.

We feel honored to have her as an advocate for the health of both of our children. We could never say "thank you" enough for her expertise and care. I only wish there were more doctors like her.

Great doctor and easy to get a hold of. Recently our two year old fell and split open his chin. Of course this little accident happened after hours and needed to be looked at by a doctor. We called Dr. Shi and she met us at the clinic and had the wound cleaned and closed within an hour!!! She was very patient and gentle while caring for the laceration and my son always has full trust in her. Perhaps one of my favorite parts about having Dr. Shi as our children's doctor is her follow up. She always checks in on them afterwards to see how they are doing and had us back in the office a few days later to make sure the wound was healing.
