My husband was under Dr. Alikozai’s care for eleven days while we were out of town, and while the medical care was excellent, what truly stood out was how exceptional and rare his patient care is.

He spent significant, unrushed time with us (over 30 minutes on multiple occasions) explaining things to us in a way that was both thorough and understandable. We never felt like just another patient.

He also went well beyond what is typical - coordinating care with other physicians after hours (including on a holiday), thoughtfully planning discharge around our travel home, and personally coming to the hospital on discharge day to ensure everything was handled.

This level of involvement, communication, and genuine care is not something you come across often. We are incredibly grateful for his support during a very stressful time.

Back in December of 2025, I traveled to Vegas for work, and brought my mom along so we could stay an extra day to look around.
Well, we ended up unexpectedly sightseeing Valley Hospital instead.
My mom had developed what no doctor could figure out, and we remained in the hospital for a full 7 days.

Dr. Alikozai was our Primary doctor during our stay, and when I tell you that he is one of the best hospital doctors we have ever met (and we have met a lot), I mean it. We were blown away, time and time again at how kind, gentle, and genuinely interested in helping my mom he was.

He would take a full hour, sometimes two, every day talking with us and never seemed rushed or uninterested.
He patiently answered all our questions and explained really complicated medical terms in a way that was so easy for normal humans to understand!

He went above and beyond in trying every avenue to help my mom. He even came to visit us on his DAY OFF to tell us the news himself that we could go home!

We are so grateful to God that we were blessed with Dr. Alikozai as a doctor. You can tell he loves his job and cares for his patients.
It made the stress of my mom's condition and being in a different state from home much easier! Highly recommend him to anyone!
