Dr Baldauf has been my orthopedic doctor for at least 10 years. He has all of my confidence in dealing with my conditions. He has replaced both knees and a hip over this time frame. He is personable and truly cares about my care. He is straight forward and honest in his assessments. Options are always given honestly with what I believe are my best interests. Pros, cons and possible alternatives are presented based on his extensive experience in a caring, and sometimes appropriately humorous way. He is my go to guy for my orthopedic needs. I highly recommend him for those needing orthopedic care.

I was referred to the Desert Orthopedic Center team by the V/A for total knee replacements. My first surgery with Dr. Baldauf was in February of this year, and the entire process from start to finish went extremely well.

Dr. Baldauf is extremely straightforward and awesome to work with. He has a unique way of dealing with patients—he is very clear about the process and objectives while remaining incredibly focused on the rehab goals. His explanation of the surgery made me feel much more at ease.

I also want to give a special thanks to the entire support team. Their coordination was excellent. I actually look forward to working with them again on my other knee in a few months!

So far so good. I've been in a great deal of pain for a long time. Dr. Baldauf was recommended by my PCP. Everything about my appointment was top from efficiency and professionalism to getting a diagnosis. I felt like I was able to make an informed decision. I'll be back with a review of my right hip replacement.

I'm back with my post surgery review. I had my right hip replacement December 12th and just went to my post surgery follow up yesterday. I'm blown away by the results. I'm already walking with a cane and can tell I'll be ditching it in the near future. The bandages were taken off and the incision area is healing well with minimal scarring. My guess is it will be difficult to tell where it was in the future. The x-rays showed a perfect result and everyone is pleased with the outcome. I can't tell you how grateful I am. Just a month ago I was crying in pain, walking downstairs backwards and using my hands and feet on the steps to get upstairs. I had no idea how much my body was overcompensating for the hip. I've been at a zero pain level for 3 days and the second week after surgery was at a 1 or 2. If you're hesitant about surgery and in the pain I was in, don't be. You'll receive stellar care with the entire Baldauf team. Dr. Baldauf is an Orthopedic Rock Star.

As I arrived for my initial exam appointment concerning having knee replacement surgery on my left knee by Dr.John Baldauf, I was first impressed by the layout/floor plan of the clinic located on the ground floor. I appreciated the professionalism and courtesy shown me of the front office staff and personnel. The x-ray technicians made me feel very comfortable and they politely guided me through my x-ray procedure.

The assistants for Dr. Baldauf exceptionally explained my requirements to fullfil the post-op requirements. And the assistants were also considerate requesting my disclosure of my medical history and medications.

Dr. Baldauf impressed me immediately upon meeting with him for my first time. Dr. Baldauf eased my concerns and worries about my use of Eliquis related to my pending knee replacement surgery. Dr Baldauf explained in detail the process of my knee replacement surgery and my post-op procedures and rehab requirements. Never thought I would say this about my pending knee replacement surgery that I am looking forward to having the surgery by Dr. Baldauf and having a new beginning for a better quality of life following my surgery and not having to use my walker again.

I went to facility on Desert Inn Road. It is modern, spacious and comfortable. All of the staff were upbeat and courteous. Dr. Baldauf was affable and patiently explained my likely problem and the procedures that would be required to remedy it.
