I seen Dr Joseph yu Today in March 4/26. I was referred by my primary & mom who had hip surgery. I have a MRI that states trochanter, at the tendinous insertion of the gluteus medius and Mild left greater than right greater trochanteric bursitis versus and I’m at the beginning stage of bone spir
gluteus medius tendinopathy. However I’m in lots of pain. Dr Yu rush in and out of room talk to me for less then 3 mins and told me everything looks good on MRI & X-ray and to go see a neurologist. 😳🤔🤨💁🏽‍♀️🤪🤨🙁😟 I’m scared and theses doctors are getting worse

Dr. Yu said I should give up on seeing orthopedists because my nerve study was clean. He recommended seeing a rheumatologist in one year. This was bad advice for suffering for 3 years and through 6 doctors already. I will follow the advice and see a rheumatologist. I will not follow the advice and “give up”. Go back to school if that’s where you learn things. Otherwise, read this and learn not to EVER let that happen again.

Astonished how blessings can pour upon one in such a profound way. With over 60,000 people at Allegiant Stadium watching the Raiders, I just happen to run into Dr Joseph Yu and his family. I had already seen one doctor earlier that week for possible shoulder surgery, complete rotator cuff tear. I asked him if he was a doctor and he replied, “yes.” It was then that I remembered he had done my other shoulder 12 years earlier. The next day I went to his office and his staff scheduled an appointment for me. I explained that I wanted to get in as soon as possible, a few days later I received a call to move my appointment up one week. I already had an MRI and a doctor visit with another surgeon who recommended surgery but after running into Doctor Yu, I needed a second opinion. At the appointment, Dr. Yu informed me that there is a new procedure where they clean out the shoulder and insert a balloon into the should then pump it up with a solution, I believe to be saline.
I asked if I could get in and do the surgery as soon as possible, again the staff was amazing and assisted. I researched studies on the ballon procedure that confirmed positive results after five years, this was a new procedure in the medical field. Right before surgery, I asked Doctor Yu to do whatever he could once he got into my shoulder. Within three months I have 100% range of motion in my shoulder. What blew my mind was the level of care and compassion Doctor Yu gave me. I noticed two months after the procedure that my torn bicep from seven years ago seemed to be back in place. On my final visit Dr. Yu confirmed that he had attached my bicep while he did the balloon surgery and that the area will be sore a little longer due to the screw he inserted to connect my bicep. I thought I was going to have to live with that torn bicep the rest of my life. I am beyond grateful, so blessed!! I could not thank him enough and his staff. This was serendipity at its finest measure. It was blessings from above. It was a great act of kindness and love. Thank you again Dr Yu, forever grateful!!

First let me start this by saying I'm not a fan of doctors at all. Never really have been. Earlier this year I injured myself skiing and dreaded all of the potential doctor visits I was going to have. I went to a doctor and for a month it was issue after issue. Finally a friend recommended Dr. Yu. I again dreaded having to start the process all over again but went to see him and man am I glad I did. Everything about the visit was perfect. The office staff was great, Dr Yu was great. He took time to explain things and help me understand what was going on. A couple weeks later I had my surgery and because of covid shutdowns I couldn't have a follow up right away, so Dr Yu texted me and followed up and made sure everything was ok. He went above and beyond and had definitely restored my faith in doctors. I will highly recommend Dr Yu.

I cannot say enough of how Fabulous Dr Yu is. I originally went to him for my knees, which another Doctor said they need to be replaced! Dr Joseph Yu. said let me give you a shot!!! That was 10 (Ten) years ago!! Still have the same knees!! And receive shots occasionally.
But, not everything lasts! I just had a full hip replacement!!! Everything went perfectly great. Dr Yu and Van,PA-C, are remarkable!! The care they personal care and attention is incredible!
The entire staff is excellent!!
Thank you again Dr Yu and Van!
