We are so impressed with doctor Monroe and his staff! My husband had his ankle broken in several places Dr. Monroe very impressed! My husband never complains about his ankle and that was eight years ago. I tore my rotator cuff a couple years ago. He got in there and said he just had to clean it up. Again I haven’t had any problems since. Just recently, I tore my Achilles tendon. His staff was amazing. Shay got me right. My surgery went well looking forward to healing quickly! We highly recommend Dr. Monroe!

Dr Monroe did an excellent job on my meniscus tear surgery. I highly recommend him. I would definitely use him again for my other knee that has been hurting. His front office staff is very nice however I did find it hard to get return phone calls maybe because I was on workers comp

Referral department person is hardly never there, front desk receptionist barely speaks english. So you have to repeat yourself multiple times, they are rude women and the DR doesn’t take HMO’s! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I had a trimallelor fracture from playing Pickelball. I rolled my ankle on both sides. In the hospital I was blessed enough to have Dr. Monroe perform the surgery. He updated my husband, showed him the x-rays & informed him that the surgery couldn't have gone any better. My bones are completely however, I still have slight swelling & pain from the hardwear. He's has a positive attitude & is slightly aggressive but that is what I like. We are waiting a couple of months & will make a decsion on whether or not the hardwear needs to be removed, due to a sensativity issue which is why I'm still having slight swelling & pain. He is very knowledgable & experienced.

My husband was referred here for surgery on his foot. He went to his surgery consult and Dr Monroe seems very knowledgeable and we feel very comfortable with him performing surgery. Our problem with this place is the office staff. Dr Monroe wanted an MRI before scheduling the surgery the nurse said she was going to to to get a rush on the insurance approval because my husband is currently out of work. I called the next week and the woman on the phone was very condescending to me. She wouldn't even check to see if the referall was ready and just told me that I will receive a call when it is. After not hearing from anyone for 3 weeks I finally called again. The woman I spoke to said the referall has been ready but they didn't know what imaging center we wanted to go to. She said she would look it up with insurance and get it sent over to the center we are approved for. We finally heard from the imaging center and they tells us he can just walk in. My husband waited 3 hours to be told that there was a miscommunication and they were told he needed an xray instead of a MRI and that for an MRI the soonest appointment is in 2 weeks. He finally got the MRI and I called Dr Monroe's to get my husband in for a follow up. Now the next available appointment isnt for almost a month! I asked to be put on a list in case someone cancles and asked if I could call in the mornings to check for cancelations. Again got met with condescending attitude saying if I'm on the list I'll get called. But from experience with this office I am not taking this chance. It is very clear that the office staff here doesn't have much care when it comes to their patients.
