This place only wants your money. I had infected tooth region from wisdom teeth and I am unable to get surgery soon because I have an important upcoming event. I needed antibiotics in the meantime. They refused any antibiotics and I had to go to a different dentist that actually knew what they were doing to get the proper medicine. They also didn’t try to force a tooth removal on me on the spot, and told me my options, unlike Edge Dental.

This place will recommend the most expensive and unnecessary treatment on you and expect you to nod your head yes because you don’t know any better. Don’t go here.

Furthermore, I later found out my father went here as well and he also had an unsurprisingly similar experience! He went in for a cleaning, and they pestered and forced him into getting a more expensive “deep cleaning.”

UPDATE: it’s 8 months later, my teeth are fine. I got a second opinion and I have 0 need for extraction. Antibiotics healed me in a matter of days. Again, this place will take you to the knife as quick and soon as possible. They only want your (or your insurer’s) money. Your lack of knowledge is their ticket to monetary success.

Stay away from this place. Had they only prescribed me antibiotics (which was the correct course of action) they would’ve only made a fraction of what they would’ve made otherwise, by taking out my wisdom teeth. I’m still very upset about this to this day.

Just be forewarned, if you have a procedure done there and you are in excruciating pain, they will not give you anything stronger than ibuprofen, because they are not licensed to prescribe the painkillers that give you relief from painful sleepness nights.

I had a very disappointing experience at Edge Dental. My wife and I declined an optional laser treatment, and after we did, the office refused to provide us with dental care and asked us to leave. We felt pressured to accept a more expensive service in order to receive treatment, which was upsetting and unprofessional.

During our interaction, the office manager was aware of what was happening and, based on my experience, appeared to support the decision to deny us service after we declined the laser treatment. That left us feeling that this was not an isolated misunderstanding but part of how the office handles patients who refuse certain services.

Patients should be able to decline optional treatments without being denied care or pressured into paying for services they don’t want. Based on what happened to my wife and me, I would not recommend this office. If others have had similar experiences, they should consider reporting their concerns to the appropriate dental licensing board or consumer protection agency so the matter can be reviewed.

Everyone at the facility is very professional and courteous as always.
What I like about coping there is that they being all of the staff always give me sound advice on my dental care and ways to improve. One thing in particular, in my last visit they showed me a picture of my teeth up close to show me what "they see". I found that extremely helpful and it brought to my attention an area that I could improve upon. The assessment the other day proved that the feedback and advice that I was given on the last visit had helped, since I did not have the staining that I had the last time.
I highly recommend the step of showing patients what you see, this helps drive home the advice that is given.

I scheduled a routine cleaning at Edge Dental on Blue Diamond Rd. after my insurance changed. Despite clearly requesting a standard cleaning, I was told I “needed” a deep cleaning—an expensive procedure I’ve only had once, five years ago.
When I declined and asked for a regular cleaning, the office refused. Their policy was deep cleaning or no cleaning at all—something about Standard of Care.
I paid out of pocket to see my former dentist for a second opinion. He confirmed there was no clinical indication for a deep cleaning.
I’m 74 and have had reliable dental care my entire adult life. I know when something is wrong—and when something is being pushed.
This office denied my right to refuse what I believed to be an unnecessary procedure and tried to upsell a $1,300 treatment instead of providing the routine cleaning I requested. That tells you everything you need to know.
I called my insurance company. I was told that this deep cleaning is becoming a trend. I can see why. For the well-being of others, I will take this further.
Please do not respond that “we only take your health as our number one…” I have been in the health care business my whole life. I know the standard of care. You are taking advantage of that standard.

My husband and I came to Las Vegas for a 5-day trip, and on our very first day, he developed severe tooth pain. We had 4 full days left in the city and called this clinic immediately to schedule an initial exam and a root canal treatment if needed. The receptionist initially booked an appointment, promising they would handle it as quickly as possible.

When I called back to clarify how soon the actual treatment could be done within our remaining days, the woman on the phone completely changed her tone. She informed me that their root canal specialist is only available a few times a month. When I asked what my husband was supposed to do with severe pain for two weeks, she literally started laughing out loud into the phone. It was an aggressive, arrogant, and incredibly unprofessional laugh. When I asked to cancel the appointment due to her unacceptable attitude, she just kept laughing mockingly and said "Okay."

Treating patients in acute pain with such mockery and disrespect is non-negotiable!
I truly hope this phone call was recorded. I will be filing a formal complaint against this clinic with the Dental Board and medical associations regarding this abusive and unethical behavior.

I was warmly welcomed as a new patient to Edge Dental today. I had a severely chipped molar that was driving me crazy. The entire staff was so professional and treated me like royalty! I’ve been coming here since Dec 2023. I have only had a bad experience ONCE leaving me in tears and trauma, the GD who caused that experience is gone (for some years now). I returned because the rest of the staff treated me with respect. I voice my concerns and I feel heard. The new way to make monthly payments isn’t too thrilling, in the past I would just call monthly to make a payment, which helped with flexibility, but I comprehend why a business would need to change that. Dunia who does my cleanings is a ball of positivity & professionalism. The front desk staff have always made me feel welcomed, never pressured or alienated. I have spent over $8,000 at this office over the last few years, so this review is based on my personal experience as a returning patient.

I scheduled what I believed would be a $75 cleaning, but instead I received an exam and was told I needed approximately $5,000 more in dental work. Before I had time to fully think it over, my credit was run and I signed financing paperwork.

After discussing everything with my partner, we decided to get a second opinion because of the cost. Within about 24 hours, we contacted the office to cancel the treatment. We also requested copies of my records so I could take them to another dentist, but I never received them before returning to the office.

What concerned me most was learning that payments were already scheduled to begin even though no dental treatment had been performed. When I returned to cancel, I was told I would lose about 10% of the financed amount, despite the fact that no work had been done.

The customer service from Jasmine during the cancellation was very disappointing. My wife said Jasmine repeatedly talked over her and disconnected the call multiple times while she was trying to resolve the issue. When I came into the office myself, I also felt talked over instead of listened to. I asked direct questions but didn’t feel they were answered. Another employee also joined the conversation, and the interaction became argumentative and unprofessional.

As someone who has spent over $8,000 at this office, I expected better communication and better customer service. I encourage anyone considering major dental work or financing here to ask plenty of questions, carefully review any financing paperwork, and consider getting a second opinion before committing.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this office.

After my examination, I was told I needed a laser treatment that would cost approximately $400 out of pocket. I have good dental insurance and was not interested in paying for this additional service. I asked if I could simply receive a standard cleaning and fluoride treatment and pay any applicable copay through my insurance.

I was then informed that the hygienist would not perform any cleaning unless I agreed to the laser treatment. As a result, I was effectively denied service unless I paid the additional $400 out of pocket. In all my years of visiting dentists, I have never encountered a situation where a basic cleaning was refused because I declined an optional treatment.

I do want to note that the dental assistant who took my X-rays was wonderful, friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The dentist was also polite and straightforward.

Unfortunately, the office’s refusal to provide the cleaning I requested left me feeling pressured into unnecessary treatment and extremely disappointed with my overall experience. I won’t be coming back.

Absolutely awful experience. I went in expecting a $200 copay for a basic cleaning, and when I arrived, I was told it would be $500—something I never would have agreed to for a simple teeth cleaning.

When I questioned it, the staff member claimed she had already gone over this with me and that I agreed, which is completely untrue. I would never agree to a $500 copay for a routine cleaning—that’s insane.

I tried to explain there must have been a misunderstanding, but instead of working toward a resolution, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. I was then told I had two options: pay the $500 and get the procedure, or don’t go through with it and still pay a $500 cancellation fee.

Do not go here. They add unexpected charges and then pressure you by claiming your insurance won’t cover anything unless you proceed—leaving you stuck paying either way. Completely misleading and unacceptable.

Always a positive & amazing experience at this office! The front desk staff is incredibly friendly & welcoming, and the wait time is short—which I really appreciate. The office is clean and modern, and I love that X-rays are done right in the chair —no need to walk to a different room. Hygienist was patient, thorough, and gentle which made the experience comfortable.

What makes this place special is Dr. Elpers. I followed her here from her last practice. She is sweet, compassionate, and truly cares for her patients. You will feel comfortable every step of the way.

I had a dental emergency on a Friday afternoon, recently. After making many calls to try to get into a dentist I called Edge dental and Spoke with Jasmine who was very kind, and listened . I had an appointment within a hour. Amazing in itself! My first time experience, walking into the office was positive. The entire office staff was polite and proffesional. My dental emergency was quickly resolved.

I decided to go to Edge Dental & Orthodontics because it was highly recommended by reviews from people with dental trauma and I can openly admit that I would give them 100/10 for their respectful service, hardworking staff, and excellent quality work!

When I arranged my appointment for Edge Dental & Orthodontics, I hadn't been to the dentist in over a decade and I avoided smiling in public because I was severely ashamed of my teeth. A dental emergency made avoiding the dentist impossible, and the staff here got straight to work while being upfront about the status of my oral health and what I needed to do to reach my goal of a smile I am proud of. They were empathetic and supportive throughout the entire process of initial cleaning, teeth extraction, Invisalign, and ongoing cleanings. I remember crying profusely on my first visit and bringing stuffed animals and a weighted blanket for my oral surgery; never did I feel judged for advocating for my psychological needs.

Well into a year of oral health and maintenance, I LOVE TO SMILE NOW! I no longer feel anxious about going to the dentist and I look forward to catching up with the staff here on my visits. Although I hate driving, I happily drive the half hour it takes to go here because it is the only dental establishment that has made me feel safe. The feeling of safety and care I get from the staff here is something that cannot be bought, and they continue to motivate me to take care of my teeth. I am forever grateful to the staff at Edge Dental & Orthodontics for the smile I have today, and I refuse to let anybody or anything take it away from me again!

I wasn’t very happy. I had a mouthful of canker sores and her answer was to send me to a surgeon. Oh and also, rinsed with warm salt water. This was an infection and all I probably needed was some antibiotics. So I left not knowing anymore than when I came in.

Dr. Elpers is an excellent dentist. I can’t say enough good things about her. She cares about her patients and is always gentle and will walk me through the process if I ask.
I have the highest respect and regards for Dr. Elpers because she saved me from a horrible toothache I had during Covid and no one was able to accommodate me due to the present circumstances and timing. She has a genuine interest in each and every one of her patients and is always kind and professional.
Their office is always clean and has the most up to date technology. This was so refreshing versus the previous dentist I saw which was the complete opposite and lack of care or proper etiquette etc. Side note, I have Culinary which doesn’t pay much, so out of pocket after a discount was more but they offer credit payment plans upon qualifying which is worth it to myself to have someone I know who will actually help me and treat me well because your health is everything.
She is honest about what you need to get done immediately and will do everything she can to save your teeth 💝 so if you’re looking for a good dentist that you can trust I highly recommend her.

10/10! The dentist, orthodontist, and really everyone is friendly + they answer all 1000 of my questions about whatever’s happening during each visit. I appreciate knowing why certain procedures are being chosen over others. Also, being informed about what’s going on while I’m in the dental chair has helped with nervousness lol. The Dentist himself was nice but the staff is the issue: I was told before the procedure was done the Dr would give me my teeth by the Dr himself and what I came home with was a fake tooth?
I was also told by the Dr I would receive an excuse letter from work, and here I am 3 days later requesting it again! One was sent but did not include all the dates I requested.
I was told by the Dr before surgery I could text him with photos asking if the blood I'm seeing is normal but here I am being asked to come in if I HAVE CONCERNS.
So there's a lot of confusion and contradiction. I am a new patient and this is really making me not want to continue coming to this dental office.
I'm not happy.

Wow From the time I came into the front door until the time I left the dentist's office like an experience. I've never had before such a professional. Terrible experience! We made appointments here for a routine cleaning and had the worst experience at a dentist office possible. After extensive x rays, photos, and a brief exam I was told I needed a deep cleaning which would cost $500+. I declined, and asked them to do a standard cleaning which would be covered by insurance. They told me it was the $500 deep cleaning or nothing, so I left and will be going elsewhere. This office is a sales center for dental procedures, and nothing more.

Just now getting around to writing this review. Went here a yr or so ago and me and my husband just wanted a second opinion although we did not tell them that and a basic cleaning. She said she found all kinds of things wrong with each of us in our dental which I expected as Las Vegas is terrible about finding an honest Dentist. She said my husband needed a deep cleaning also and they could do it right then for 1500.00 and no numbing and she was done in 30 minutes so this was not a deep cleaning obviously but a rip off. Needless to say we never went back. Went for a 3 RD opinion and I had no issues and my husband had just a few. Our teeth have been just fine. Please be careful in Las Vegas and I guess pretty much everywhere with Dentist and realize they do put you in. Dental Database. You never have to give them your SS if you are paying cash which is the best thing to do because most dentist bill your dental insurance PLUS make you pay. It seems they all want to be multimillionaires by age 50 and retire😂. Cannot recommend Edge Dental and as you know Google allows you to use the posting name you desire with limited rules on this so check those out. I am sure I took photos and they are in my phone someplace. I may add them later when I get time to look through.

OMG…. I cannot say enough about my experience at Edge dental. Dr. Preston has the most gentle bedside manner which makes me so very comfortable because I’m always nervous at dentists. Yadira sweet personality is consistent each time I’ve called and with each visit I’ve had. Jazmine whom I met for the first time today is also so very kind. Dr. Hygen whom I saw on my first visit was patient as she explained what I needed and it did feel like a hustle the way I’ve felt at my previous dental office. I hadn’t gone to the dentist in 10 years as my last experience was terrible and created a huge fear. From start to finish everything was so so simple and I was cared for excellently. Shoutout to Ericka at Edge Dental!
My son gets really nervous at the dentist after having a series of extractions a few years ago. No matter how much I try to reassure him, it’s still hard. He was sitting in the waiting room almost in tears.

Then Ericka opened the door.
She came in with so much energy and warmth that she had him laughing almost immediately. Before she even started his cleaning, he was totally at ease. At one point he looked over at me and gave me that teenage smirk over his glasses like, “Okay… my mom was right.” 😂

That reassurance means a lot to both of us. Ericka has such a natural way of connecting and making kids feel comfortable. We’re so grateful for her patience, kindness, and care.

Been coming to Edge for a couple of years now. My teeth weren't in the best shape when I started coming in, so it's been a process.

Dr. Elpers and her staff are always pleasant and engaged. They make every effort to ensure I am comfortable and understand what's going on. They are efficient and capable and most everything is completed quickly and relatively pain-free! (Not like the dentists I went to when I was a kid!)

Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a dentist in the Enterprise/Mountains Edge area!

I decided to get my braces done here because of Abby! She’s amazing! She shared her own experience with me and explained the pros and cons of Invisalign and braces so clearly. She’s also incredibly skilled. One time I wasn’t seen by Abby, and the wire was left long, poking my cheek. When I came back to have it trimmed, Abby took care of everything. She even trimmed all the other wires just in case, even though they weren’t poking yet.
