The doctor would not give me a copy of my new RX for contacts. 1800Contacts called to get it so they could fill my order and he refused. I read that it is a federal violation for a Practitioner to not provide or withhold any and all prescriptions created on the visit.
I will never go back there ever again. Karma will come calling. He is a disgrace to his profession.

I first came to Eye Care at Rhodes Ranch for an emergency visit when I abraided my cornea. They were able to fit me in on the same day and I'm so grateful to them for making it happen! Later on, for my yearly eye check up, I went back to them. Dr. Mar also prescribed me an eye drop which has been so helpful for my severe dry eyes. Very happy with my care at Eye Care.

I was seen emergently as my eyes were red and i was in severe pain. I was seen by the doctor, and my prescription for medicated eye drops was supposed to be sent to CVS. CVS calls saying the doctor filled out my prescription wrong- forgetting to include her license number for the script, making it unfillable. CVS called the doctor, and they did not answer. I called the doctor several times and was told they'd call CVS and fix it. My wife even called and i was assured the correct prescription was sent in. Upon arriving at CVS for the third time, I was informed that it was never resent. It has been five hours at this time. I called them back, the doctor said they sent it. I went into the office, to find nobody sent the prescription. The office manager finally sent in the prescription five hours later, with me standing there. I would understand if they were busy and needed more time, however, I was told it was corrected and sent in, when in fact, it wasn't and I was lied to and forgotten. To me, it seems like its neglect and it is frustating I had to go into the office to get them to send over the correct information. It is required by law to list your medical license number when sending off a prescription and it causes undue delays in patient care by not filing out a valid prescription. My wife and I both have backgrounds in the medical field and the goal is to not cause delays in patient care, if i did something like this with a patient, i would have been written up or fired. I will not be coming back here.

The responses from the “owner” is the same response to every post, no real customer service focus just the same standard response, and this is not a healthcare provider I will choose to see based on the reviews and standard reply shows a lack of compassion, empathy and patient centric approach.

These guys gave me a glasses prescription. When I brought my own frames, they said if I wanted to use my old frames they would have to charge a “$30 processing fee”. The total came out to like 240 dollars.

I went to a different optometrist a few blocks north, and what do you know they don’t charge this random “processing fee”. Total was $170.

Been coming here for 2 years now but just came for an appointment at 2pm and the doors were locked. An employee and I were both waiting outside, they let the employee in after a minute and shut the door behind them and locked me out. Literally could’ve just said, “hey, we’re just coming off our lunch break” or put a sign on the door but I was just awkwardly standing out there with everyone chilling inside and had no idea what was going on. I ended up finding another provider. I called & tried to make an appointment for 3 people, my 2 kids and myself, we all wear glasses and contacts. My employer has changed, so I got a new insurance and this place is in network. Their phone line was making lots of noise and I could hardly hear a lady, so she suggested to switch to texting. We did. In the text messages she mentioned they inly schedule 2 family members a day. I was confused, it’s first time I ever hear limits on how many family members you can bring for the appt. So if you have 2 parents and a kid, or 2 kids, or a single parent with 2-3 kids…. You gotta make multiple appts… super inconvenient, no way, sorry, there are competitors on the market who make it convenient (!) for their patients.

I scheduled an appointment and never met with an optometrist. I bought a pair of $500+ glasses and am still unhappy with the results. It was my first appointment with an optometrist and I was definitely naive, but to spend that money and never meet with anyone that actually knows what I need is why I'm leaving this review.

I got replacement lenses once I received my new lenses they cracked after a week. They got me new ones and once I got home and cleaned them under water and used a brand new micro fiber cloth that I got from here I saw they were scratched, im very careful when i clean my glasses. I told them (with proof of pictures) they ordered a new pair of lenses again once I got these They had me look them over before the installation and there was a mark on the surface of the lens that the manufacturer was supposed to get rid of but didn't. The rhodes ranch eye care got it off but they got scratched in the process and after 2 weeks they cracked again on both lenses. I will never go back here because of the poor quality of lenses that they provide. The staff is very nice and understanding tho just a waste of time getting cracked and scratched lenses 3 times.

I’ve been here before, but throughout the pandemic I’ve changed company and stopped coming to this office! Lately my company have this office on their listing, so I decided to comeback to Dr. Mar for my eye doctor! Dr. Mar is excellent and have patience on top of her great expertise but some of her staffs are not as thorough and caring! First of all, the glass frame was my own and they do charge me extra money for bringing it plus signing a sheet for Not responsible for any damage they might’ve caused during the process & I get that, but if the frame is loose on 1 of the arm and the nose pads were yellowing, I wouldn’t wait for the customer to ask for them to get tighten and change out. On top of that, my glasses were already arrived more than few days of the 3 weeks as they told me , but yet no has called me to let me know the arrival AND after they fixed my minor issues, I never got a case to hold my glasses! Everywhere I’ve been to had have given a case to hold the glasses! I have never been treated like this before, all I can think of is NOT to go back for anything else!

First time here for my husband & I. Checked all the boxes for us; open on Saturdays, accepts my insurance and my husband’s insurance, nearby our home. Techs checking us out and helping us with selection of glasses and contact lens selection were friendly, informative and helpful. We’re glad to have found them. The office is located next to Von’s at the corner of Warm Springs and Durango. It’s in a strip mall complex and what was also good is there’s a dog grooming shop in the same complex so we

Dr. Mars is the best. Always the consummate professional. Never a problem getting in on short notice or for an emergency issue. The entire office staff is friendly but you have to text to get an appointment . I have been going here for several years and see no need to look anywhere else for eye care .Dr Mars gives an outstanding exam

Ivy been going to Eye Care at Rhodes Ranch for almost a decade now. Initially with Dr. Mar and now Dr. Miranda and their staff. I always get , what I feel , like is the best care and attention possible with a big smile. Staff was friendly and informative. Office was clean with high tech equipment. Their system allows for a nice treatment flow. But, most importantly the doctor, and I'm sorry to say I forgot his name, had great patient interaction skills, made it a welcoming setting so you felt comfortable enough to ask questions. Very organized and all staff is knowledgeable as they were able to answer all questions. The wait time was minimal. The exam was very thorough. They continue to require masks which I agree with. Dr Mar was wonderful, (also recommended by my retina specialist) as she explained everything as well as options. I didn’t get new frames, I’m replacing my lenses only at this time, but there was a large selection. I definitely recommend.

This was the best eye appointment experience of my life. Updated technology in use HERE allowed me to NOT have a huge blast of air attack my eyes… NOR did I have to go through the dilation process and wear those awful “sunglasses” and have blurry vision for hours.

Everyone was so friendly and the Doctor was extremely personable. She was efficient without me feeling rushed at all. She also educated me about what I was seeing on the digital scans of my eyeballs! (They were fine and beautiful BTW)

Additionally, my former job’s insurance was ending soon and I was in a rush for an appointment. Within one hour of calling, I had a date to come in because someone cancelled.

I’m so thankful for the great communication and friendly atmosphere I experienced here since I am brand new to the area. I highly recommend!

I love this place. The Dr.’s and staff and always generally nice. I’ve been going here for about 3 years now. Today I went and there new staff in green, I didn’t get their names but they weren’t as kind as usual and it really bothered me so I’m writing this review. Otherwise great place.

My family and I have Dr. Mar as our eye doctor for so many years and I can only say that we love her :)! She is so patience, friendly and explain your condition in a way that it’s easy to understand. Every time we contact the office, the staff is friendly and we always answer your questions promptly. This office started using the text messages for scheduling or questions which I like it because the staff do respond timely and the messages are cleared and accurate. Appointments can be scheduled within weeks, no months. If you have any billing questions, the staff or the Manager always address your questions with courtesy and respect. I hope that I can find a family doctor like Dr. Mar in Vegas.

The staff was very professional and prompt in checking me in and doing the eye tests prior to my appointment with the optometrist. Dr. Mar performed a very thorough eye examination and made some recommendations on changes that will improve my vision that I was previously having difficulty with. Dr. Mar is excellent with customers. She provided the most thorough examination I’ve experienced in over 50 years. Very professional and interested in her customer’s questions regarding eye health. She provided solutions for the customer to choose from.

I was having flashes, floaters and missing some visual field in my left eye showed up Saturday an hour before close and Dr. Harsini accepted to see me even though I was a new patient with no appointment. Excellent care, thorough, friendly. Even though I live in Henderson will definitely come back for future eye follow up. Highly recommend!! ❤️❤️
