Hello, Im a senior citizen looking for glasses. My family recommended Eyeglass World. The 99.00 for 2 pair. I was introduced to Lexie when I walked in.I showed her the kind of frames that I have. They're rectangular, square. I've worn these type of frames for years. I was told, they don't have that shape of frames any more. They are out of fashion. Not enough stars or character space to describe how WELL I was treated (along w/ my boyfriend). Walked in w/ no appointment. The whole staff was so kind, caring and most of all patient! I was in a car accident and in need of new eyes since this was the closest location.I crossed my fingers for help. Ms. Gibson went above and beyond! it is so refreshing to be treated like a human instead of a sales figure! She was super busy but never treated me like a hasell. I felt like she was genuinely excited to help me see and feel confident in new frames! fast forward 4 months and my wire frames are bent and Ms. Gibson with her cape readjusted everything for me at no cost!

I have referred two others to this location due to Ms. Kaitlyn Gibson. We were treated with kindness, respect, wonderful energy and FULL transparency regarding costs/insurance/optional add ons with no pressure, just education. Thank you so much to Kaitlyn, Mario (going into detail about my boyfriend's glaucoma even asking if he could refer him to a eye specialist [glasses are a fix-but Mario was truly concerned about his health, as he had personally experienced similar circumstances]) and Ms. Essence for being so on top of everything! She is SUCH a dearheart! It's like I was talking with family!

p.s.I actually got so excited to pick up my new pair I left my old bent scratched pair at their location and the staff called my right away, knowing the pair was lost but they found them! This team is absolute! So so SOOOO many amazing folks at this location! Thank you folks at Eyeglass World at E Trop!

Got my optometry exam and purchased glasses for delivery. I paid extra for 2 day shipping so I can have them on time for a trip, but it took 3 weeks to arrive. Meantime I was stuck without glasses, and I called them to get a copy of my prescription so I can get another pair elsewhere but they refused to send me a copy. I got my glasses a week ago and I went yesterday 08/25/26 to see if I can change the frame of my glasses. Mario the man who helped me was very sarcastic and rude when I was asking questions. He was also making faces and seemed annoyed, which made me feel uncomfortable for simply trying to get information. My daughter and I get our annual exams here every year. Clinic staff is great and accommodating. The optometrist is so sweet and caring. My daughter gets a little anxious for her exams and optometrist always makes her instantly feel comfortable and at ease with her kindness and warmth. Optometrist is also very thorough. We went in because the place that i usually go to charges way too much. As soon as we walked in we were politely greeted and felt welcome we told them our situation and they were able to give us a good deal for two glasses and they told us it will take one day to a week depending on how strong the prescription is and they took one day while the other place would take months for one pair. The employees were very nice and kind 100% would recommend this place.

I did the $154 comprehensive eye care exam as that is what you need to get contacts. I told the doctor I wanted DailyTotal1 for Astigmatism as my research showed those to be my best fit. (you will get a spectacles prescription as well)

You need to follow up with a $35 contact training class. Samples are given to you this day. Took 10 days for mine to arrive. They ordered bi-weekly Acuvue Oasys for astigmatism. Not only not the brand I wanted. Bi-weekly without a doubt would be my LAST CHOICE. You will be required to put them in there at the office in under an hour. I think it took me maybe 10. Good luck to you. 🧡 During this class again, I told the different doctor that day. I asked for dailies. Which would suit me best since they barely even correct my vision. Have no interest in the build-up of debris or the long list of cons all non-daily options present.

At which point you'd think the legal liability is gone & you'd be given your prescription. No. You will be scheduled for a follow-up. Another $34 (they waived my fee & thank you, I was not told I was going to have another $34 fee between me and the prescription.) This was the end of my journey. It was not explained to me that the fact they decided to pick a brand I did not. & A style of contact I did not. You can only order those EXACT contacts they gave you. My presumption was I'd get my prescription and order the Daily version of Acuvue Oasys for astigmatism, nope, not allowed. Need their permission.

So I'd have to wait for them to allow me to schedule another appointment to get the DailyTotal1's for astigmatism that I wanted. I'd be able to Uber there and pay $34 again to Uber home. SAMPLE THEM. Then schedule another $34 appointment to go in & say I like them, can I have the prescription? So I can order them. Suffice it to say I had no interest at this point.

Wasted a lot of time & money on this. Didn't even come close to getting what I wanted. & Yes in the office that day I lied and was just like woah I love them. Because at that point I'm fed up. At that point for the money I had spent I wanted to at least get the paper with the prescription that was neither the brand nor style I wanted. So that it wasn't a complete waste. The chances of me ordering them are slim. & I have no interest in contacts anymore. & Since my vision, quite frankly, barely needs correction I will not be going anywhere near any optometrist until it becomes necessary.

The people are all extremely pleasant. The customer service is top-notch. But the parts that were more important to me in this sort of business transaction were completely missed. Being that I knew what I wanted when I went in. & Wasting time & money is something I find to be extremely agitating. Especially in a failing economy whilst the price of everything in my life is rising at an exponential rate.

I tried. & Hopefully, this review will give someone insights into the first-time contact user experience that will save you from falling into the same 'trap' I felt myself in.

I usually get very good service here, but not this time. I picked up 2 pair of glasses yesterday. One had the wrong lens prescription even though I reminded the technician that the prescriptions were different. Today I got a text stating that my glasses were ready. A top notch experience. Manuel was excellent. I told him my situation with these pair of glasses that were only going to be used as emergency backup to my contacts. Again here I am updating my review about this place. We've have terrible experiences twice and one decent experience.

My wife goes in for a contact pickup/followup the front staff don't have a complete understanding of what to do for the follow-up. On the phone call for the appointment they said wear your glasses explicitly but they wanted her to be wearing her contacts instead after arriving.

They puff her eyes for a contact fitting for no reason? One person had told the person doing the intake "Use the middle machine" when they were confused on how to do the intake. Then after the puffing realized that wasn't the right machine and apologized to the coworker and just ignored my wife? 🙃

She goes in to speak with the doctor and the doctor asks her which contact she put in first? My wife says they are the same prescription so it shouldn't matter right? The doctor asks it again the same way, my wife thinking she was too quiet says the same thing. The doctor instead of trying to clear up the confusion by rephrasing or explaining what they are trying to ask, like a trained medical professional would, just yells the same question at her? Then tries to make up for the fact that she yelled at her by saying it's so that the more recently put in eye has time to rest?? I mean it's not like the contacts go in 20 seconds after one another so it's very pressing information that warrants yelling. 🤡

The question is how to rate this company honestly without some preface. I've heard this store is the worst. I'm 53 and have tried them all. I'm half blind in my right eye and it's been tough to find a kind doctor that goes beyond the chart for 30 years. The old man doctor here on the other side of the machine listened and took the time to hear my story and gave me the best exam I've ever had. So him and the store gets 5 stars. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was going to be taken care of no matter my finances. They didn't care if I was poor or rich. So to the staff, I couldn't be more happy. All of them.
For the first time in my life, a least on the machine I could read the bottom line on the chart. Read on, the end results were close and still the best.
Wait time is 5 stars from phone call to delivery. Glasses in an hour I've tried and they suck, including pearle. Again, 2 pairs for less than $100 probably suck. I don't know. I just know it's always a bit of a bait and switch. You probably get junk. But this company didn't care as far as the exam. The exam was not included in the cost. Anyway, I was told I might have to sit for an hour but the doctor called me in within 20 minutes before I could even finish looking at frames.
I was told my glasses would take from 3 to 10 days. My first pair took 3 days, I was so pleased I ordered another that took 8 days. I have ordered pairs from other companies that said they would be a week and took 6 weeks, including Pearle that didn't cut the lenses right in their own store so I had to wait months and other big names. This company gets 5 stars.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I'm a high spending client that bought the best of lenses and frames. The frames are the most noisy creaking frames ever. This company didn't build them but they obviously don't test them since I own 2 of them now. I settled and didn't complain because I needed to see and couldn't wait months again.
I'm sure they would help me if I asked I just wish they would vet the high end frames before they sold them.
Finally, ask about the buy one get one free because their are caveats including insurance. My buy one for $700 turned out to be $1500 for the second same pair. So there was no get one free. It was buy one spend $1200 more for the 2nd same pair. I hope they change what they really mean. I had to walk out with one pair. I'm happy with the vision. It's not HD like the doctor said I'd have but like I said, I'm half blind in one eye so I wasn't expecting miracles but he did give me the best and his best. And the staff is the best!
This is all an honest opinion and I'll go back. I just wish their frames were worth the money.

My glasses arm had snapped halfway (not an item defect issue; i was punched in the face) and she was able to bend it back with a little heat. They were fixed and readjusted in seconds! Leaving this review for Lexie and Lovejeet and the amazing service they provided me today. I’ve been coming here for two years and had a frame that didn’t last as long as I expected, but due to me having the protection plan, Lexie assisted me with getting a new frame and lenses in no time.

Walked right in for an appointment for new glasses. They were able to see me in about 15 minutes. While I waited I walked around and looked at the frames on sale. They had pretty good deals, but the lens definitely got me. What are you gonna do, not protect your eyes? The advertisement said same day but I was told they'll call me when my glasses show up.

Lexi is absolutely amazing!
She has taken care of myself and my Husband for the last 3 years. Always greeted with a smile and always remembers our names. Never has she hesitated to be available for any of our needs as far as broken eye pads, or adjusting my glasses. Even cleaning!

So my wife has been going here for years, for our son. I've been a couple times with him as well. Now he is 15 and no longer a member of their kids club wich use to be a huge discount. My wife went last week and had a price in mind that she was able to spend. The cheapest Adult male was $89 +The poly at around $60 a lense so 2 pairs of glasses they wanted around $378 all said and done. MY WIFE was not .comfortable with this. SHE FELT LIKE SHE WAS DEALING WITH A CAR SALESMEN . SHE KEPT SAYING MY BUDGET IS $× amount of dollars, wich was rebuttled with it's only $30 more, oh I know this is hard, sometimes we have to spend money on our kids. EXCUSE ME? ALL OF THIS in front of our 15 year old son. He did not like his mother getting pressured. They get it down to $250 magically after canceling the poly and warranty, but by this point my wife is done. She does not want to spend any money here. So she leaves ends up at Visions Works in Walmart a thew days later. ALL SAID AND DONE TWO PAIRS OF FRAMES FOR $120, OK get this the same poly they wanted $60 a lense For (nope) $14.99 a lense. $180 for two pairs of glasses. ONLY HANG UP, YOU ARE not going to get your glasses same day. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND NOT BEING pressured well worth waiting 5 to 10 days. We saved over $100. Oh and an amazing selection of frames all different price ranges Instead of $89, $99, and up. Just had to put this out there. YOU Know for the parents that do not have $400 laying around to spend on their kids glasses.....
