We went to Eyeglass World to purchase frames. We didn’t think they accepted our insurance but they did and were so helpful in explaining our benefits and how the insurance worked. Manuel was amazing. He really took his time in explaining glasses size and fit. Then he spent time helping my son pick frames that looked best and felt best. Manuel was so patient. Update: went for my annual exam today and still a wonderful experience! I believe the lady who helped me was named Jodi? Such a sweetheart! I can't wait to get my new glasses!

Went in for the first time the other day to get some new glasses and had a great experience. The doctor was fun and chatty and the eye exam didn't take long at all. When it was time to pick my glasses, Daeja helped me. She was really patient with me and helped me calculate numbers to see what the best option was for me. I decided to go with their buy one get one free deal and got a pair of sunglasses too. Such a great deal and my glasses were ready in only a few hours! Wonderful experience and I'll be bringing my son in for an exam too!

i have been going here for years i go into the optometrist inside here and take my prescription with my own frames and let eyeglass world switch out my lenses. i have never had a problem up until today. I believe her name was stacy. she was completely unprofessional and made any excuse to not accept my frames. This time i had brought in my disabled moms frames to get her some new glasses and without even looking at the frames she said she wouldn't be able to accept them. she then told me to go to the sahara location tomorrow and that her manager might be able to help me instead. she insisted i didn't tell anyone that she sent me there. i am definitely not happy with the service here.
side note, after i left i went to AT&T next door and have been waiting in my car for a while. She sits there on her phone. Seems like she didn't want to work today.

The arm on my glasses came off, so I took them in to the Decatur office to repair. The man that helped me didn't seem like he wanted to be there or bothered.
He took glasses to the back to repair, in the meantime I started order for two new pair to replace a lost pair. When he finally finished the repair he placed the glasses in the case and I was on my way.
The next morning I went to put the glasses on only to find he replaced the arm with a gold wire frame arm, NOT the brown tortise shell one I took in! I went in to have it corrected and was told he threw it in the trash, since it was brokend and couldn't be reattached, so he used a spare one he found!
At no time did he advise me of that and to make matters worst it didn't fit my face and the glssses won't stay on properly! Needless to say I left with a pair of one armed glasses that won't stay on!
If I could I would cancel my order and never return!
Whenever we've gone to this location the staff are very pleasant, however Emanuel leaves much to be desired and I will have to really think about going to this location because of him!

I have been using America’s Best glasses for years - sister company to Eyeglass World. The last time I visited Eyeglass world I was serviced by one of the managers and felt a little bit pressured to upgrade my glasses so I didn’t - And I got regular reading glasses.

My ten month old, accidentally dropped my glasses and got a scratch on the glass. I went to visit Eyeglass world on Decatur to get my glasses repaired and was serviced by Alex (one of the managers) WOW!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!

Alex was extremely helpful, Very supportive, super knowledgeable, very calm not “salescy” and instead of trying to upgrade me he provided suggestions and made me feel very comfortable. At the end of this exchange I ended up upgrading to the TOP OF THE LINE PROGRESSIVE GLASSES available!

Thank you, Alex for an amazing experience and for your sincere, easy-going and calm demeanor and for your willingness to give what the customer wants instead of what a Sales rep may need!! If I could give you 100 stars on this review, I would!!

We are going on vacation very soon and my daughter in the middle of the night broke her glasses. Insert full panic mode because most places including her regular optician would take a week to get new glasses. I saw this location had the option to have glasses ready in an hour to a day. After presenting Emmanuel with the problem and broken glasses, I was prepared to pay for a new pair of glasses. After looking at them he assured me he could fix them. After a few minutes he came back with her glasses fixed and with no noticeable changes in her frame at all. I was not charged for this which makes my experience even better and this place and Emmanuel worth the 5 star rating. I'll be returning to purchase more eyeglasses from this location as my visit here was great in every way.

Went in today to get my kiddo some glasses. I thought what a deal two for $99 right. Lady immediately tried to tell my kid the glasses were not for her, trying to up sale. We didn't budge, she took a call in middle of our transaction, 15 mins into it we walked out cause of the rude salesmanship of her. I forgot to grab my kids script, walked back in 30 mins later, she lied to my face saying she messaged me, no she did not. She tried to offer 10% off additionally but I do not recommend going there till she's fired. I think her name was Sandra? Late 30s early 40s white woman. Steer clear of her. very unprofessional and rude. When I said there plenty of business in Las Vegas, she exclaimed not at our rates... Really, zero apologies for her ride actions dealing with us and pushing us to side. Please, if you go in there avoid this rude woman and her terrible attitude, she's not god. Don't fall for this lady's poor people skills and salesmanship.

My son broke his glasses during the weekend (of course) and I called Eyeglass World on Decatur about an hour before they were closing. Erika was very sweet and told me to come in and they'd wait until I got there. When I arrived, Rubi was ready and ordered a new pair of glasses (under warranty) and I was done in less than 5 minutes. After not such a grand experience at the actual optometrist’ office the preceding visit to my most recent one, I had my mind made up that I would only return to Eyeglass World was IF and only if “Patty” was still employed at the facility on North Decatur. To both my wife’s and my gratitude, Patty is still at this Eyeglass World site. I could use an endless amount of adjectives to describe how wonderful she is and has been while tending to our eyeglass needs. But in the interest of brevity, I will emphatically share that, bar none, Patty “cares.” And while I grant all employees that have greeted us upon our arrivals made us feel welcome, it’s just that when you have a one on one encounter with Patty, you will get the sense that you are the SOLE client or customer. I believe Patty comes from the school of thought wherein Customer Service still means something and the customer is both important and unique. I honestly cannot state that point in every facility I enter nowadays. Can you? If not, see Patty at Eyeglass World. Came in to assist my mom with her appointment when she needed contacts, they staff was helpful in getting us in through a walk in. However, when she got her contacts she mentioned how one eye felt off and was blurry, they brushed it off stating to wear it for a week. We decided to follow the instructions thinking maybe they would adjust. As I went to call to confirm the appointment we were told our appointment got canceled (we never called to cancel it), luckily they were able to set us up a new appointment and took it as there may have been an error. Come next week I am my moms translator so I translated to the doctor in regards to her eye still feeling uncomfortable and blurry, I was brushed off and kept being interrupted by the doctor in regards to the reason. Before I could finish the doctor stood up and said to speak to the front and they will handle us. It felt like just because my mother didn’t speak the same language we were being over looked and brushed off. Then again when I called to ask about the appointment we were told AGAIN there was no appointment ever made. This felt very targeted and luckily I was calling to cancel because this was not okay. Thank you to the staff that assisted us but to the doctor, I really hope you review your ethical practices as that was very rude to continue to ignore and overlook a patient.

I went in Eyeglass World, on 6436 N Decatur Blvd S 140 & 150 in N Las Vegas, NV. Ivica helped my Mom, Carolyn adjust her glasses & even cleaned her glasses for my Mother. She was the sweetest person & treated both with such respect!

The optician SUCKS! get a new one. I literally almost left and paid for nothing and took my insurance elsewhere but the darn Versace glasses were too cute and Ms Patty and the other staff were amazing.
This optician sat here and tried to tell me what I wasn’t seeing. As if I was fogging up the glass and making what I saw blurry. I’m a 37 year old full grown woman college student business owner and mom whose had to

Then I paid an extra $30 for that fast imaging scan and fast it was not the machine is dumb and broke and I was in there most of the time trying to get them to take that imaging. DO NOT DO IT

I’m annoyed about the rule I found out about today, we’ve been using them for a while, we go to the eye doctor and then bring them our prescription because I love them and the time frame…today I decided I wanted to get a new style of glasses and my current prescription is only a few months old. I asked if they had more options online she said no so I said can I please have a copy of my prescription because there aren’t a lot of options of the style I am looking for. She said yes go ask the doctor area and I’m like I go somewhere else and come here I gave you my prescription a few months ago. She said no I can’t give you your prescription so you can go purchase somewhere else…I was like but you take prescriptions from us to use from somewhere else? Am I not allowed access to my last order? That’s absolutely CRAZY because eyeglasse world is notorious for wanting you to bring in your prescription with their one hour ready glasses?! But you won’t allow me to have a copy of the prescription I gave you?! What a joke. I honestly don’t want to purchase from them anymore simply because of this…they need to also update their selection of $89 glasses they are very old school for the most part and aren’t current styles. I cannot believe they wouldn’t give me a copy of my prescription I actually gave them when they literally encourage people to do what she won’t allow me to do lol and use MY prescription to purchase glasses online…

My wife and I recently decided to give Eyeglass World a go, after having had a very poor experience at the Craig road Lenscrafters where we had gone for the last few years, and are we glad we did! There are not a lot of opticians that accept our vision insurance (Eyemed), so we were pleasantly pleased to discover that Eyeglass World did so. We were also happy to discover that Eyeglass World seemed to be more immune to the inflationary pressures affecting some eyeglass retailers. We were assisted throughout the process by Emanuel, a very competent and patient technician, my wife is very deliberative so this was no easy task! The process was smooth and flawless and we couldn't be happier with our experience, In under two weeks I had an exam and a nice pair of Ray Bans, while saving a nice chunk of change compared to our recent past experience. I love going to the Eyeglass World on Decatur to get my glasses. Edith is who helped me a couple of weeks ago to pick out my glasses. She was so helpful. I got warranty on my glasses and so thankful that I did. I got into an accident on Sunday and my glasses broke. Went in and Edith was the one to help me again. My eyeglass frame was broken and I couldn’t fix it myself. At the store Karen made an attempt, but then gave the repair to Edith since it was proving really difficult. WOW! Both ladies were very nice and super helpful. Edith was able to fix the problem and wouldn’t accept a payment or gratuity. I had not purchased my glasses from this company, but that didn’t matter to the staff. I didn’t think such great customer service existed anymore! Came in with my Mom and fiancé. Was greeted friendly when we walked in. We proceeded to look at some glasses best suited for me. Then we were approached by Dina to help further us along. I would like to thank Ruby&Edith from the lab. I went in because my fathers glasses broke , and there were able to make new glasses the same day. The ladies did a great job on making them, the tint in the glasses was perfect for my father. My husband recently went here for glasses. He also used the optometrist, Red Rock Eyecare, at the same location. When we first met Dina, our eyeglass representative, she made us feel good about his purchase. He used frames he already had so they just needed to make the lenses and we'd be informed when they were ready to pickup up. The experience with Dina was very good.However, when we went to pick up the eyeglasses, were not right. We will go back tomorrow and have them do the lenses over. I will follow up at that time.

I lost my glasses in a ride share vehicle.

I just found out that someone wants to hire me for a driving job. I have no insurance and am pretty broke. I am required to wear corrective lenses when I drive commercially.

Dina found me a coupon to help pay for the glasses and promised they would be ready in two hours.

I have a somewhat difficult prescription and if it’s not almost perfect I cannot see properly. I am extremely nearsighted with significant astigmatism; I wear progressives that include far, near, and reading sections. I worked with a lady named Barbara, who spent a LOT of time with me to assure all measurements were correct and choose an appropriate frame. They have to send my glasses out to be made which took a while, but worth the wait. When I picked them up, I again worked with Barbara and another young lady; they made sure the glasses were straight and fit properly. Would highly recommend, especially to those with strong prescriptions. NOTE: This review is specifically for the Decatur store. I don’t know about other locations.

I’m a few months late with my review of this company but the more I think about it the more frustrated I get. I went here for the ‘2pairs for under $100 deal’ and while my experience with the eye doctor and his staff was great, my experience with the staff when picking out frames was a different story.
I went to pick out frames immediately after my eye appointment. After 15 min of standing there trying to get someone’s attention because I didn’t know what to do, I was told to sign in.
After signing in I looked thru the selection of frames for almost 40 min before my name was called. I picked both frames from the 2 for 79.00 (or something close) and thought that I’d maybe spend a couple hundred with my steep prescription. After all was said and done the frames and lenses cost over 430.00!! When I asked why the lady told me that the only way to get the price down was to have thicker more coke bottle like lenses. I definitely couldn’t afford the thinnest ones but I was super disappointed and felt that they take advantage of those who don’t want coke bottles on their face.

I lost my one pair of glasses. I called Wal-Mart to see if the had one hour service. They did not and recommended Eyeglass world. I was immediately greeted at the door. They check my temperature and explained the procedures. It was about 2pm and the lens maker (?)was leaving soon. The wonderful manager Barbers stated depending on what I needed she would be able to make my glasses. I was so relieved. I was matched with Deja to assist with my purchase. She was wonderful. So kind and professional. I left to have a late lunch while my eyeglasses were made. When I came back everyone recognized me and expedited my check out. I have semi-frameless glasses. Had the same pair for about 15 years. The nylon line that holds the lenses in broke. Brought them to Eyeglass World. They repaired them, straightened and tightened them, replaced the nose pads, and gave me a new case for them. NO CHARGE! Great people and service!!

Awful customer service. I called for a price quote on a quick vision screening for DMV paperwork and was told $35. Called back a week later to set up an appointment and was told $35 but possibly $84. Okay, weird. Get to the appointment and then was told $84 plus $30 to fill out the form. I told the receptionist to cancel my appointment since I had been told three different prices on three different occasions and her response was, "Yeah, sorry about that. Do you want me to shred your paperwork?" Yikes.

I knew exactly what glasses I wanted. They were the same frames as my previous pair. Slightly pricy, but I really liked them.
My lenses cost a little more than the frames.

I brought the old pair. I was asked what all I wanted (as far as films and filters and whatever else they offer) I said “I want the exact same thing as I have on this pair nothing more” and I didn’t feel very confident that I got only what I wanted. But what do I know?

Fast forward a week and my glasses are ready for pickup. I wear contacts and so I had to get them “fitted” with my eyes closed. (Would be nice if they had some contacts cases and solution for quick fits, but that’s just a suggestion)

What really bothered me is I paid $400 for my glasses and when I picked them up I was handed some cheap $.50 clear plastic case and I wasn’t even given a cleaning cloth.
How is it a pair of your “designer brand” frames didn’t come with a sturdy case or a cleaning cloth?

This place is a joke! I Just walked away extremely disappointed. After this place was recommended. No I will never return and neither will my family. I walked in and after 15 minutes of waiting I was told I had to go to the back to have the doctor see me for an exam. I walked back and the girls at the window said that the doctor could not see me anymore. If somebody would’ve helped me when i walked I would’ve probably had time to see the doctor. They close at 5:30, I Walked in the doors at 4:31.

I have been getting my glasses here for years. They have always worked with me until they get my lenses right. My vision is poor with lots of Astigmatism and the lenses have to be precise or else my eyes can't handle. They took good care of me and made sure the lenses were spot on, I am going to pick up my new glasses today and can't wait. Attendees are friendly and give you their undivided attention...no complaints here thanks Eyeglass World for making my experience a positive one! Why 4 stars unfortunately for me they are out of network, not there fault but an inconvenience.

Beware of the $78 for 2 pairs of glasses deal! The eye exam to determine your prescription is also $78 but this does not include the glasses. I was not aware of this and thought that the initial payment included the glasses. The glasses cost ANOTHER $78. Do not be fooled by their sneaky business tactic. On top of this, I had actually called ahead and the representative never mentioned that the exam was extra. Buyers beware.

If I could give NO stars that's what it would be. Customer service is negative. They answer the phone like they don't want to be there. They called me to pick up my glasses and when I arrive they can't find them. They finally realize its because I owed a balance, which they never bothered to ask in the first place AND IT COULD HAVE SAVED ME AN HOUR. They asked for payment like it was borrowed out of their pocket, gave no receipt. The optometrist office is just as bad. I can handle bad customer service but if you are a cash paying customer save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
I could go on and on but there's so many other places I can go why waste more of my time on these fools!!

Terrible experience, I made an appointment for my son to get contacts. I get there they do the exam and take my money. I ask them about his contacts and they say oh we will need to do another exam for that they had my son down for eyeglasses only.I told the lady I specifically said contacts when I made the appointment, I never mentioned eyeglasses, she said oh we would need to do the exam for the eyeglasses anyways and your sun will have to pay $35 for the class to teach him how to wear the contacts , plus additional feee for the contact exam. I thanked her and left . I will never go there again .

During my eye exam here, both the office staff and the doctor himself were extremely friendly and kind. I had a wonderful experience and my insurance was accepted which is great. The optomistrists are amazing as well. The man helping me helped me understand the benefits of my insurance plan and broke down my receipt in a way that was super easy to understand. Went to get new glasses. Was told that I would get a call in 10 days when the glasses are ready. Nobody called. I called after 14 days. Lady said that she had a customer and would call me back later. Called about 15 minutes later to tell me that the glasses are ready for pick-up.
Waited 40 minutes to pick up. Was running out of time and left the store without testing them. Now I have to lean back to be able to read my computer screen. Poor service.
