I would like to share my experience as a patient, particularly following a recent unsatisfactory encounter with Yuli. I initially commenced my treatment at the Henderson location, which met my expectations; however, I had to continue my treatment at a different facility — Durango — due to my recent employment, as their operating hours conflicted with my work schedule. Consequently, Durango became a more suitable location for my treatment, enabling visits during lunch breaks. My initial experience at this location did not meet the expected standards; and my concerns were addressed to the manager, whose name I do not recall, although I can specify that she had a deep voice. Furthermore, during a scheduled appointment, the shock machine malfunctions, necessitating a wait, and despite numerous follow-up calls and texts to inquire about the arrival of a new machine, I received no communication regarding its status. Additionally, regarding the issue encountered at the Durango location, I was informed that I would receive three complimentary sessions as compensation; however, this was not accurately documented, resulting in miscommunication. Previously, I purchased six sessions of shock wave therapy on two occasions, but some visits involving non-shock wave treatments were erroneously applied towards these sessions, leaving only one shock wave therapy session remaining. During a recent conversation with Yuli, she mentioned that my free sessions were granted in April and expired in June, which I was entirely unaware of. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Henderson location again and tried a new machine, which I found to be highly satisfactory. However, given the numerous inconveniences and operational difficulties encountered, I cannot recommend this facility until operational procedures are improved, including better training to listen to patients when they take the time to explain their situations. There has been poor patient service, particularly concerning Yuli.

I can't say enough good things about First Physical Therapy & the staff there! I originally was referred to them for severe back pain from bulging discs due to what I do for work. Im a small business owner and I was going to have to close down due to the pain . Nolan recommended dry needling along with the different exercises and it worked like a charm! They litterally fixed my back with the different treatments they offer and I'm back to doing all the things I was doing and planned on doing. All the staff there are so friendly and helpful! They are really great there! So Far my daughter has been very happy with the Physical Therapy that she gets here. The only complaint that I have is their phone system. If they are closed for lunch or closed for the day, you have to wait on hold for about six minutes until the voicemail finally let you leave a message. I do wish that they would fix that. I am extremely disgusted by how the manager of this physical therapy office treated my elderly mother. She was charged a $50 cancellation fee because she had to cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, despite the fact that she was experiencing a severe arthritis flare-up that left her unable to walk. Situations like this are medical emergencies and are completely unpredictable. Penalizing a patient for something so clearly out of their control is not only unreasonable, but frankly inhumane.

To be clear, the physical therapists themselves have been kind, professional, and have made my mother feel comfortable during her care. However, the way this situation was handled by management completely undermines that positive experience.
Julie, the manager, was dismissive and rude, and showed a complete lack of empathy when speaking with my mother. She justified the charge by stating that my mother has canceled appointments before. It is shameful that a facility serving elderly patients does not understand that emergencies, especially serious health flare-ups—happen and cannot be predicted or avoided. Using that as justification to penalize a vulnerable patient is unacceptable.

The only times when my mom has cancelled her appointments have been due to serious health issues that have kept her from leaving the house. This woman took advantage of my mom's age and vulnerability. It goes without saying that $50 is a considerable amount for someone who is retired.

I would like to add that in one her many moments of deep arrogance, Julie stated she wouldn't reverse the charges and that the only person who is above her is the owner of the clinic. She also hung up the phone on me when I was confronting her about the charge.

Charging a sick, elderly person under these circumstances feels exploitative and abusive. I would strongly caution others, especially those with elderly family members, before trusting this office with their care, at least while Julie remains a "manager" or unless you are able to predict emergencies within 24+ hrs in advance.

First PT contacted me as soon as my doctor had put in the request. We made appointments luckily they’re right down the street from me. It’s a small office, but it’s efficient and complete. The therapist, Dr. Nolan was on point with his exam to evaluate and treat. The plan was explained to me and I agreed. The exercises were emailed to me and when I do them, I click submit and Dr Nolan has a record that I have done my exercises. I look forward to the mobility That will return!

I have been coming to first physical therapy for over four years now. They have taken care of my rehab for both of my total hip replacement surgeries and my total right knee replacement. Please Read Before Going to First Physical Therapy — My Experience

I never really knew what physical therapy was or how these offices are supposed to run until a recent incident led me to need treatment. After my first visit at the Durango location, I immediately began to question the sanitation and safety of this place.

This is by far the least hygienic physical therapy office I’ve ever seen. They never sanitize their hands, treatment tables, or equipment between patients. The exam tables are covered with cheap, wrinkled white sheets and pillows that are not changed throughout the day.

The clinic is individually owned, and while they charge a fee for missed or last-minute cancellations, you would think that money could be used toward cleaning supplies or ensuring patient safety — but it clearly isn’t.

If you are immunocompromised and were referred here, it’s likely because your doctor knows the owner and wants to send them business. I strongly recommend against coming here. Even if you’re healthy, consider your safety — this facility is one of the lowest I’ve seen in terms of hygiene.

You could easily be exposed to bacterial or fungal infections, skin mites, or respiratory illnesses by lying on unclean sheets or using unsanitized equipment.

Thank God I left early enough and tried Kelly Hawkins Physical Therapy — it confirmed all my doubts. Their cleanliness, professionalism, and quality of care are truly 10 out of 10. The results and overall treatment experience have been excellent. They take hygiene seriously, clean and change everything between patients, and consistently sanitize their hands and equipment.

I’m sharing this review purely out of concern for public safety, hoping that it helps others make informed and safe choices when seeking care. Writing this gives me peace of mind — I feel like I finally have a clear conscience and a clear mind knowing that I’ve spoken up and hopefully helped others stay safe.

I am back for a second run on PT. The new doctor suggested a place where there was a six week wait to be evaluated. FIRST got me in in less than a week.

There are days that PT hurts but if you aren't pushed a little you aren't going to get better. The idea as I understand it is to make you stronger. If you don't want to work a little you aren't going to get better. And, it isn't going to happen in a few visits.

My therapist listened closely to my problems and
I could see he was thinking very carefully about what treatments might help me. He took an interest.

Most of the upscale doctors and specialists I have seen in the past could not care the least. It is like they have a specific chart and if your physical issues are not on that cart then they don’t exist. It's all in your imagination. They just can’t wait to get back out Golfing!

One doctor specialist wanted to put me on Paxil, which would not eliminate my issues.

I told him I was not depressed for GAWD SAKE, I was frustrated, there is a vast difference!

I came to First Physical Therapy after a neck fracture that required wearing a hard neck brace 24/7 for three months which left my neck extremely weak and painful. I was so fortunate to meet with Nolan Daniels for my initial interview and evaluation. He was very knowledgeable and thorough and took precise measurements of my range of motion and neck strength to establish a baseline from which future progress would be measured. Nolan was very reassuring and I left very impressed and sure THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!

I've had a few sessions since and, amazingly, instead of being a twice weekly nuisance, I actually look forward to them. The entire staff is welcoming. My team of therapists is energetic, friendly, and fun. "Hi, Team!". Proper technique is very important to getting the most benefit from the exercises included in my personalized program and if I start to drift, I'm glad someone will quickly come over to correct my form. I really appreciate that. Not once have I ever felt "abandoned" during a session. This is a really comfortable facility. No pretensions -- just a "let's get going and get you better" atmosphere!

What else can I tell you? I would never hesitate to refer anyone and everyone to First Physical Therapy. I am slowly, but surely, feeling better and have every confidence that I will soon be pain free!

This was my best experience with PT. Nolan did my intake appointment and actually measured my ranges of motion to set a baseline. I had fractured my femur at the neck and recovered from surgery. It had been a few months ago that I completed three weeks of PT to regain my strength, and I was still experiencing pain and limited mobility.

At my first treatment, Nolan went right to work with stretches and manipulating my hip joint to relieve tightness in all the ligaments and muscles. After a few treatments I had improved to the point of not being bothered by the reduced level of pain. For the following 3 months I continued with treatment to improve my strength. I am now pain free, thanks to the team at First Physical Therapy.

This place RUINED my Life!!!
I started Physical therapy after C5-C7 Fusion from Dr. Khavkin my Nero Surgeon referred me here. I kept complaining they were hurting me, Joey was my therapist and was very ruff with me. I felt like I was getting worse and went into the office and told them They're HURTING ME. I started crying from the pain, I went in for an M.R.I and found out they bulged out C4..... 6 MONTHS AFTER MY FIRST SURGERY. Now I needed a second surgery. This place is great. I’m older and was seriously ill about 18 months ago. I had always been in good shape and was very active but during my lengthy convalescence I lost a lot of muscle mass.

My doctors recommended First Physical for PT to start limbering me us and resuming more activity than just working on my butt in front of a computer!

I’m glad they did. Not only is the staff super but they tailor-made a plan for me (and for all their patients). I’ve had 5 or 6 sessions and I can tell a difference. It will be a journey, as any rehab is, and they combine realistic goals with a heaping dose of optimism! Thanks, guys!

Nolan is a very knowledgeable therapist. He does frequent assessment of my progress and I feel heard when I give my feedback to him.

Joey has more than once given me unprompted additional hands on exercises to help me at home.

Dee is always willing to show me exercises again and again to help me get the most out of the session.

This is the best staff and easiest office to schedule. I appreciate all they do! I would recommend this office to my family any time.

I have been told a few different therapy places. I never stay with it long because it never felt like it helped. That is not the case with First Physical Therapy. They are very knowledgeable and also listen to you and what you need. I really look forward to my sessions with Lily, Dee, Joey, and Heather. I refer all my family and friends here.

Joey Scorza my physical therapist helped me tremendously when my right side Sciatic nerve was a problem in 2015. He helped me get off medication through various physical muscle movements. The same problem occurred in 2024 and with the identical results, reduced pain, improved range of motion and the knowledge how to move forward and help keep the problem at bay. The staff is caring, informed, professional and I highly praise them all.

I really like First Physical Therapy and very excited to have Heather Hutchinson as my therapist. Heather is giving me lots of tools to help me with navigating through the problems I’m having and so nice that she understands what I’ve been goi g through. I had back surgery in June and i needed to do physical therapy and i got recommended to this place by my doctor. My first appointment was with Nolan and i was very nervous because i had bad experiences with other therapist and sure enough he made my feel so comfortable and he reassured me he was here to get me back to work and that I would leave a normal life again and with the help Jordan they both have made me feel comfortable and they listen to me if I have pain or if i had a bad day it’s all gone when im there bc they listen and provide me with the care i need no pain is to small for them Nolan and Jordan and the whole staff always listen and are there helping me get back to normal so yes to me this is the place to go if u need therapy it’s my home away home I’ll always recommend this place

I am 25 years old and I slipped while running and broke my hip on the ride side. Needed surgery the next day. After a grueling 8 weeks of immobility and steadily recovering post-surgery, I asked my Surgeon if physical therapy was recommended in my case, and she informed me there was no reason not to at least try it out since my insurance would cover it. Initially, I had my doubts about how much this would help me in the long-term of my healing process, but now that I've completed my last session, I only wish I was covered for more! I do my own work outs at home and I thought I could heal just as much on my own. Boy, was I wrong! This location has some of the most helpful and knowledgeable people you could hope for during any sort of rehabilitation. For every instance of struggle or difficulty during my assigned exercises and routines, there was a guiding hand right there with me, almost like an angel was watching over me while my body was working it's hardest on getting back it's health and stability. I want to give a personal thank you to Jesse, Joey, Nolan, Jose, D, and Brandy for their vast and helpful assistance in my recovery. The order isn't particular whatsoever; everyone was immensely encouraging and insightful during every aspect of my sessions. Receiving countless advice, care, and understanding, this place improved my rate of healing by at least 80%! If I have any more slips in the future, I know the first place I will look into if I could benefit from physical therapy again. Before my mom went there, I went there myself for a pinched nerve problem. They're a great group of professionals who took excellent care of me and so I brought my mom to them. My mom was a difficult case to begin with. We didn't get the results that we wanted but we still got good results through their professional efforts. If I get hurt again I would definitely go to them for treatment.

Went to First Physical Therapy on Durango for an evaluation and Jordan did a great job asking questions and doing a physical exam. I have severe cervical foraminal stenosis that has been causing symptoms on a daily basis to the point I’m considering surgery. But after Jordan went over ways to work on my posture and strengthen my neck and even my back I’m hopeful that I won’t be needing surgery after my physical therapy is complete! I recommend First Physical therapy they do a good job of evaluating their patients and formulating a plan that works!

My physical therapist Dr Jesse Yurko gave me more amazing treatments.
1. One treatment was on my hips and thighs. It turned my waist spinal backward-curve to straight and relieved my tightened front thigh muscles a lot. These corrections reduce my awful hips pain and improve my moving difficulties. I hope my spinal curve will be adjusted and turned back to the normal S shape in the near future.
2. The other treatment was the cup-treatment. Because an unavoidable situation in that morning triggered my low back muscles and tendons inflammation, and the pain was intense. Jesse put 2 cups on my shoulders near my neck, and 10 cups lined up along both sides of my spinal column from the neck down to the low back. It sucked the poison chemical out of my back muscles and reduced the pain and my body heaviness feeling.
I greatly appreciate Jesse’s hard work to improve the quality of my life.

New update: The staff did not submit my Ins. auth as STAT like the Dr ordered, so my treatment was delayed. I am not impressed with how this facility is run and will be seeking treatment somewhere else. The manager gave me her cell number, but when I tried to reach out, she never returned my call until several days later. I won't do business with them, nor will I recommend anyone I know to have treatment here.

UPDATE: The manager came out to the lobby to speak with me. She stated that she understood my pain, as she has dealt with terrible back pain herself, and vowed to help me. She followed through on her promise, and I was very pleased with her help and the help of Jordan, physical theripist. They have redeemed themsleves, and the staff has been educated, so hopefully, no one else will have to deal with what I did, especially being a new patient. I am now comfortable, giving them 4 stars, and will update after other apts.

1st review: (2 Stars)They delayed submitting to my Ins. Company, and then cancelled.my appointment without calling me so I drove all the way to my appointment, only to find out they weren't seeing me. I have been in so much pain, and now I will have no relief at all for several more weeks. I am extremely unimpressed with this company. Very unreliable!!

I have used ATI Physical e techs spent little time with youtherapy where the Physical therapists sat behind computers and would only interact once a month for 15 minutes and the techs spent very littletime with you. But First Physical Therapy you work with your Physical Therapist every session and the techs are great as well working with you.kudos to my therapist Jordan as well as tech I believe she goes by Marion the librarian. This place is interested in your recovery

Our most recent experience at First Physical Therapy was nothing short of five stars. From the moment we walked in, staff were great! We were greeted with a friendly smile , the check in process was quick and easy, with no crazy wait times. We had the opportunity to meet with Jesse for our IE and he was very nice, informative and paid close attention to details and made my daughter feel comfortable and at ease as he discussed potential treatment plans and options. After back surgery, 8 sessions of acupuncture, and 2 epidurals without success, I feel hopeful working with PT Nolan and Joe and the most friendly staff at First Physical Therapy. My pain level has decreased. They work with me and Nolan determined that my pain may be from plantar fasciitis/neuropathy rather than sciatica. It’s been over a year since I’ve had my pain. After my severe sciatica attack which lasted weeks, ER and doctors, it finally subsided to where I could start PT. The attack also weakened my left leg and gave me knee pain. I searched several physical therapy businesses before settling on First Physical Therapy. Nolan did my assessment and created an effective workout plan. Within 2 weeks my leg was stronger and my knee pain was residing. I'm confident I will be back to normal and playing golf in another 6-8 wks, or sooner! Staff was very friendly and they had several machines other PT businesses were lacking like a Pilates Reformer and more. Highly recommend them!
