Outstanding Optometrist. First time in my life an Optometrist would explain everything about the photos taken of my eyes. What the shades, dark spots, thicknesses, etc on photos means. Usually you watch the Optometrist look at photos and say "Humm Haa Humm" then say ok all looks good or looks like you have a cataract. Definitely a Star.

My wife and son have been going to Golden Eyes for a few years. They really like the place and have been happy with their eye care needs.

I had been going to a different optometrist for 15 years, but felt like I wasn't getting the best care. They were a chain and I felt like it was just a "mill". I decided to check out Golden Eyes for my own needs, and boy, I'm glad I did.

The level of care and quality of services at this establishment are top notch. Dr. Ngo and Angela were wonderful to work with. It is amazing what technology can find. My old optometrist practice was good, but seemed like they were stuck in the 80's as far as their equipment went. I believe that I am now getting the best care available for my eyesight and I am relieved to be apart of a team that genuinely cares about my vision and eye health.

I'm glad that all three of us in my family now go to the same practice. I used to feel like a number at my old optometrist; now I feel like a valued client.

If you like good customer service, DO NOT go here. Wow, what a terrible practice! I called ahead to see if they could make new glasses for me with a specific lens in them, and was told they could and to bring my prescription and come in. Of course, they said I would have to wait until after their lunch break which started a half hour after I called, even though I told them I could be there in 10 minutes. So I waited and showed up after their lunch break, only to find the door locked with a sign on it that said only 4 people were allowed in the office at a time (like we’re still in COVID days) so ring the bell. I rang the bell, and a smiling but not-very-friendly lady cracks the door enough to stick her face in the crack and asks very defensively if I have an appointment, like I was an unwelcome intruder. I said not with the doctor, but that I had called earlier and was told to come in after the lunch break to order new glasses. “We don’t do that here,” was her blunt response with no other explanation. You don’t make glasses for people, I wondered as I watched people through the window being fitted for glasses. So I explained that I was told that they did when I had called, and she said the person who told me that was new and didn’t know anything yet. THEN WHY WAS HE ANSWERING THE PHONE?!, was my immediate thought. And she again said, more forcefully, “We don’t take outside prescriptions here,” with no further explanation and the unsaid invitation to go away. Nor did she offer to help me make an appointment with the doctor to get a prescription there so I could order the glasses, which I would have done (but now glad I didn’t). She was extremely unhelpful and uninviting, and if she was any indication of the type of service one could expect there, I would tell everyone to STAY AWAY—PSYCHOS HERE! So I suggest you don’t go there either, unless you like being treated poorly. Their loss though—I am a cash-paying patient ready to order a $700 set of lenses with no insurance write-offs they would have to take. But they chased me away.

I’ve been coming here for the past four years, and love this office. The advanced equipment and thorough exams far surpass my previous optometrist in Los Angeles. Dr. Ngo truly takes the time to sit with you, answer every question thoroughly, and ensure you never feel rushed during your appointment.

I have been with Golden eyes optometry for over 10 yrs. My experience with them has been good, but it also has been very weird. I would often get calls and messages from their office of appointments I never scheduled. When I would arrive for my eye appointment the door was always locked and you had to wait until someone saw you to let you in. Each time I had my eye exam there was always some new eye test that they always pushed on you. My eye exams got more and more expensive each time I visited with more tests. The lady doing exams was sometimes in a snappy mood when giving directions of where to place your chin on the optical instruments. Her directions were sometimes confusing because she always directed fast. I have purchased glasses from Golden eye several times, but there was always issues with frames, lenses and were always very expensive for minimum options. I have also brought my glasses in a couple times for service at Golden eye, but they seemed bothered to help and the warranty is only 30 days from the pick up day so there's all these conditions that apply after that. This is why I decided to get glasses on line with a warranty. When I purchased my glasses on line there was a measurement that was a little off, so I reached out to Golden eyes for help in obtaining another measurement for my eyes so my glasses can be rectified. As a current active patient I definitely was ready to pay for this service, but they refused to do it unless I buy glasses from them. My own optometrist refused to do a service for a patient that they see every year. After a couple of tries I gave up and tried someone else.I went to a different optometrist and they had no problem doing the service for me. It took less than ten minutes to get this done after I explained what I needed done. I definitely will be going to this new optometrist for future exams and services. So disappointing, because Julie was always so nice to me and refusing the service made me feel like I was not a patient.

Every staff member at Golden Eyes Optometry — including the amazing doctor — has been nothing short of incredible. My family (myself, my daughter, and my son) have been coming here for years, and the kindness and patience we receive every single time is unmatched. They always take the time to answer all of our questions and never rush us, even when I’m trying on what feels like 100 pairs of glasses.
A few years ago, my daughter attempted contact lens training but became flustered and decided she wasn’t ready. We recently returned, and the team was unbelievably patient and encouraging. They never showed frustration, supported her through every step, and helped her finally master getting her contacts in and out. She left feeling confident and so proud of herself — and she’s never been happier.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Campania, and it was a very positive experience. I did struggle a bit with the online new patient form, but once I arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional and helped me get everything sorted out right away.
The office itself is very nice and clean, which made the visit even more comfortable. There was a short wait to see Dr. Campania, but it’s clear that he takes his time with each patient to perform thorough eye exams, which I truly appreciate.

My wife have seen so many Optometrist in CA and we were unable to get an accurate diagnosis and the correct treatment for her eye problem and we were always given false hope and instead spent money more on medications w/o good results. When we relocated here in Henderson, NV, one of the few concerns of ours is to be able to find a good Optometrist.
We knew right away on our first visit with Dr. Campana that we picked the right one, he is very knowledgeable, professional, very thorough and very caring he spent time with his patients and not rushing to the next appointment. Not to mention I noticed they are very advance with their treatments and also have state of the art medical equipments.
I'm very glad we chose Golden Eyes Optometry they have a great team very professional, kind, very attentive to every detail and very accommodating. I also wanted to mention their office clinic is very clean and very organize.
Most importantly I'm very happy on our first visit Dr. Campana was able to accurately diagnosed and effectively treat my wife’s eye problem with very promising positive results. And with each of our few visits there, it has been a very good experienced.

I’ve been struggling with my eyeglasses for over a years the prescription wasn’t right. Using a very outdated prescription. I don’t have a particularly strong vision problem and not dependent on continuous eyewear use. However, I’m used to wearing a somewhat costly lens that most places don’t carry keeping their costs down. Costco and Sam’s both advised I would not be happy with their bifocal lenses.

After searching for an optometrist I decided to try Golden Eye Optometry. I’m a nurse and wanted a comprehensive exam. Dezi was very professional during my screening exam.

I was then examined by Dr. Christopher Campana. He listened to my concerns and frustrations with my “current” prescription. Thorough exam completed indicated I had vision needs closer to the 2018 lens vs 2022 lenses that were remade twice. Couldn’t wait to get them.

Angela assisted me with frame choices. Lovely gal… patience and very pleasant. About a week later the glasses were here. Hallelujah! Perfect. Near and distance were right. I wanted to get a second backup pair. Not covered by my insurance but the discount was good. Now I’m wearing them too.

I have read the reviews… from a healthcare provider standpoint the negative reviews, I just don’t agree. But after more years in healthcare than I want to admit, most people tend to post negative reviews versus positive ones. You can’t please everyone.

I’m very pleased with my experience at Golden Eye Optometry. I wouldn’t base my choices on the negative reviews to sway you in giving them a try.

It is not okay to force patients to pay an additional fee for FDT Visual Field Screening if the patient does not consent to it. Any other eye doctor I've been to always allows patients to make their own informed choices on care. Wont be coming back.

The doctor is good and all but the office is bad business. I have insurance through Davis, when I made the appointment, showed up and checked in to never be told they only accept the insurance for exams only. No frames or Lenses. So my free annual exam is gone and if I want new glasses I’m 100% out of pocket

I read all these great reviews so I thought I would schedule an appointment then I found out I had a conflicting doctor's appointment so I had to reschedule then they announced to me they wanted to charge me $40 for a rescheduling fee they lost my business thus the reason for a bad review. Started with them when there were inside Target. Service was always adequate. Not game over stuff but nothing to write home about. Office is quiet so you usually get in and out.. staff was disinterested. Nobody ever went above and beyond. Calls I made never returned when requests did not suit them. I ended my relationship with the office after I sent my wife to them when she needed to get her eyes checked. She fell some days after appointment and broke her arm so she could no longer drive herself. We found her appointment conflicted with my work so I asked her to ask them if we could come in earlier to make my day work out better so I could take her. She called and gave them all details but they showed zero empathy and told no she could not change appt. She scould not come in then. They told her they would charge her if she ever called them again.

I have been with this company for years and it helps for them to see the progression over time. Being older has its challenges and they have really helped me. Had to modify my computer vs reading my phone vision. So frustrating but they figured it out. Very professional and amazing. Loved the office and latest technology.

I strongly recommend that you visit Golden Eyes Optometry for your eye and vision care. Dr. Ngo is kind and patient and does an excellent job getting you the exact right prescription. Dr. Campana goes above and beyond to help you select frames and lenses that exactly fit your needs. I recently switched to progressive lenses for the first time, and I was hesitant to make the jump. With Dr. Campana's help, I've adjusted quickly and now I see better than I have in the past 20 years. Additionally, Dr. Campana and the staff did a great job of explaining my insurance benefits and helping me figure out how to save the most money. Without going into details of my situation, I also want to mention that Dr. Campana was caring and extraordinarily helpful when I had a problem (that I caused) with my sunglasses. I know how hard it can be to find good medical care in the Valley -- Golden Eyes is as good as it gets.

I'm 65 years old and have worn glasses since I was six, so needless to say I have seen MANY eye doctors. I can't recall ever having such a positive experience as I did with Dr. Ngo and her staff. This doctor is not only a real pro, her office is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a machine that takes an MRI of the eyes. Two thumbs up!

My family & I have been going to Dr. Campana & Dr. Ngo for our annual eye exams for quit a long time now. We love the way they are tentative, thorough, patient and very informative. They have Amazing customer care and they show their love for what they do towards their patients.
They have ALL sorts of frames including the high end designer frames. I really like the Asian Fit frames.
Their staff are very tentative to your likes when choosing your frames and are also very helpful in choosing frames for you.
Their store & officers are very clean and they use all the State of Art equipment.

Wonderful Eye Exam Experience. Facilities are very clean. Staff is very attentive and right there to help when you ask for something.
Dr Ngo was great and very thorough. She explained everything clearly and double checked just to make sure I was getting the 100% vision clarity she could determine. Very nice person.
They have a very large selection of frames, and a great lens manufacturer they work with that provide cutting edge lens that are very customizable for different needs and lifestyles. I was very impressed with what is available as I have a very thick lens because of my bad near sighted vision, and this company can get me to a lightweight and versatile setup for outdoors, color changing, and sitting In front of the computer all day for work, blue light filters.
Some things may be a bit more on the cost, but I think the convenience, the extra attention to detail and the fact they care make it worth every penny.
I have worn glasses my entire life and had to change eye doctors because my insurance changed and the doctor I was going to was out of policy. I am glad I was able to find another great office in Golden Eyes Optometry.

Golden Eyes Optometry has a great selection of designer frames. It was a joy shopping for the perfect frames to fit my needs. I decided on a pair of Emporio Armani frames and love the way they look. Form meets function with the HEV filtering lenses, a much-needed feature for my long hours in front of a computer. My next pair will definitely be bought from the great folks at Golden Eyes Optometry!
