I had a great experience with Dr. Lam and her team! The first thing I noticed was how nice the office is. Everything is very clean, modern, and beautifully designed. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the space and invested in some really impressive equipment. I was especially surprised to learn that they can make crowns right there in the office and have them ready the same day. It’s nice knowing you don’t have to make multiple trips just to get a crown done.

Faith at the front desk is wonderful. She’s incredibly friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. Mariah, the dental assistant, is just as great. She’s very kind, attentive, and makes sure you’re comfortable throughout your visit.

Dr. Lam is an excellent dentist. She’s gentle, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything without making you feel rushed. What I appreciate most is knowing that I’m in good hands with her. It’s not always easy finding a dentist you can genuinely trust, but with Dr. Lam, I feel completely confident in her knowledge, judgment, and the care she provides. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in her work.

Overall, I’m very happy with my experience. Between Dr. Lam, the wonderful staff, and the beautiful office, there’s really nothing more I could ask for. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a good dentist!

I’ve had dental anxiety in the past, so I read the reviews before scheduling a routine cleaning online with Dr. Tracie Lam. Her personal bio stood out because she seemed down-to-earth and relatable. From booking the appointment online to walking in this morning, everything was seamless. The office is immaculate, and the great music made it feel even more welcoming.

Faith answered my PPO insurance and billing questions, the dental assistant, helped me feel comfortable during my X-rays. From the imaging to my dental cleaning, everything was phenomenal and who usually says that about going to the dentist?!!

When my imaging revealed an infection and I needed an emergency extraction, Dr. Lam put me at ease with her warm welcome, gentle touch, and detailed explanations. The team continued to check on me throughout the visit to make sure I was comfortable.Today’s experience single handedly changed how I feel about going to the dentist again. I’ve found my favorite dentist, just five minutes from home: Dr. Tracie Lam!

I originally saw Dr. Lam at her previous office and had such a great experience with her that when she moved, I followed her to Grand Canyon Modern Dentistry. I’m so glad I did. I’ve also referred several of my friends and family to her over the years, which probably says more than anything about how much I trust her.

I’ve had such a great experience at this office. Liz, the office manager, is always friendly and helpful and makes everything from scheduling to checking in easy. Bryan, the dental assistant, is great too — he’s attentive, personable, and always makes sure I’m comfortable.

Dr. Lam is amazing. She’s gentle, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. She checks in throughout the appointment to make sure I’m comfortable and never makes me feel rushed. I also really appreciate how personable and easygoing she is. Going to the dentist isn’t exactly something most people look forward to, but she genuinely makes the experience so much better.

There’s a reason I followed Dr. Lam to another office and continue recommending her to the people in my life. I trust her completely with my dental care and couldn’t recommend her and her team enough!

This was the single worst experience at a Dentist's office of my life. And I truly regret scheduling an appointment here. Scheduling was easy to their credit. And they were conveniently located. I did not realize they were private equity owned corporate upsellers.
I should have gotten it when I walked in, the waiting room was completely empty, and two girls at the front desk were on the phone telling people the procedures hadn't actually been covered by insurance and did they want to make payment plans.
After assuring me that I was paying $0 out of pocket today as this was covered entirely, the X-ray process was borderline excruciating and took forever. I have then been charged $812 out of pocket which I will NEVER pay. $812 out of pocket for x rays and nothing else. Literal fraud!
Went into an exam room and the roughest dental hygienist I've ever met clearly was running the show. And for all I know she was telling the truth, but the way everything happened I simply don't trust her, and there's no way I wouldn't get a second opinion.
I only saw the dentist for about 30 seconds who said I had no cavities, and my teeth looked fine, they even asked if I had had braces because my teeth were so straight (I had not). Then it just went into upselling. They refused to do the cleaning that I was there for, insisted on $1k cleanings 4 times a year. I mean it was just absurd. I sort of engaged with the front desk girl for a bit and got her to drop all of the extras they'd piled on (which was a 900% upsell!), but in the end it was just such an awful process I didn't want to make any future appointments, and honestly couldn't schedule wise.
She then completely lied to my face about what I was being charged for the day.
In addition to the ridiculous upselling the office was just cold and factory like. They didn't even refer to the doctor by name. It was all just so impersonal it was disturbing. I also cannot even conceive of refusing to take into account a patient's wishes or provide them with insurance covered care/cleanings with the understanding something else might be required later. What possible benefit could there be to doing nothing? Other than making it clear the office/patient fit is not a good one.
Again, I cannot reiterate enough that I would never return to this office, would never recommend them to anyone. They are committing insurance fraud and taking advantage of their customers! Now looking for any independent dentist in the area that is willing to work within a patient's insurance and wishes.

Dr Lam did a great job, she saved my tooth from needing a root canal, I had a very deep cavity but with her expertise and precision I was able to get away with a crown instead!

I thought everyone in the practice was very kind and friendly, and they took good care of me and were understanding about my dread of needles. They also got me scheduled quickly, and stayed late to finish the rather arduous procedure.

Communication about scheduling and appointments was clear and accurate, billing and quotes also clear and accurate. This was a great clinic to work with and I will be happy to come here for all my dental needs going forward!

I had some well-needed dental work done today: cavities removed and one crown. While going to the dentist isn’t necessarily a pleasant experience, I can say that the entire staff and Dr. Lam made the experience as good as it could be! I was shocked at how far dental technology has come: they used a gel to pre-numb my mouth, which I had never been administered in the past. This step eliminated nearly all of the pain and discomfort from the numbing shots. Even those were epinephrine-free, which I opted for on account of health reasons. And the most impressive part of my experience today was that mine was one-stop “shopping.”

Front deal can’t be trusted. They lie. I loved Dr. Dan, I thought he was a great dentist, but because of there front desk business practices I had to find another dentist. They said they had Preapproval for a procedure that was only $258. I had already spent over $5000 out of my pocket there a month later after I had the procedure I got a bill for the $258 when I called them and question them on it they swore they got preapproval so I called the insurance company and the insurance company assured me that no one called them for preapproval that they don’t do preapproval over the phone without a referral number and an agent that they spoke to when I told him that at the front desk, they couldn’t supply me with a referral number or an agent they spoke to, and when I asked to hear taped conversation between them and the insurance company, they couldn’t supply it and the insurance company told me that if they would’ve called for a preapproval, they would’ve told him no because that procedure wasn’t covered because of that even though I love the dentist I can’t go there anymore cause I can’t trust their business practices. Also when I ask them for a number for the corporate offices, they couldn’t supply me with one. They said the corporate officers were in Irving California, but they said there was no phone number. How is that possible and when I googled it and checked it it said that corporateoffices are in China.

Practice is a fraud. I already had my doubts at this facility when they did my cleaning earlier this year since they charged a random $50 fee. Now with 2 crowns involved, I was told that would fix an issue where I would have striking pains from cold/hot temperatures but it didn't. They then said I would need either a root canal or my tooth has a fracture. They said they will call me within a week to notify me of the cost and would have someone take a look to determine if its a root canal or fracture. Come appointment time, I never received a call. So I still went in for the appt to see what will happen. To my surprise, they just told me that I need a root canal and it will be $1,282 even with insurance. No insurance, they are charging a WHOPPING $4,004. I REPEAT $4,004 and yes this is for 1 tooth... I told them that I am not gonna be paying the $1,282, that seems VERY high for a root canal procedure even with insurance. The practice was very unprofessional to not even inform me of the cost when they had 1 week prior to my appt and they can't just dictate the procedure however they want and bill at the cost of whatever they choose. They then told me that there is a $100 cancellation fee because the person who came was a specialist. I did not sign any consent and I'll appeal it with my insurance. I then called my insurance and they said that the practice is charging a higher percentage than what they are normally supposed to. 80% is covered for a non major surgery in which a root canal isn't. So that is 20% co pay. Practice literally charged closer to 35%. This is a bad practice and unfair service. They milk clients/patients out of their money. What a scam and a fraud business. They just lost 2 clients because of their low class no integrity and disrespect to the people who are in need of dental service. Good riddence and I hope one day this business gets penalized for obnoxiously inflating rates that is deemed theft.

As someone with a lot of dental anxiety (and, unfortunately, a lot of dental issues!) I can confidently say that Dr. Bingaman's #1 priority is the comfort of his patients. He has always gone above and beyond to explain his care plan and the options I have as a patient. As the patient, you always feel in control of your treatment and can feel confident that the providers truly have your health and comfort in mind. I never feel pressure from the team at Grand Canyon to pursue treatment, and they are always considerate of the expense that comes with dental care. Ash, the lead dental assistant, is an absolute rockstar! She was gentle, confident, knowledgeable, and efficient while taking my X-rays, which made the experience completely stress-free. You can truly tell she helps run the office smoothly and supports her team in such a positive and effective way.
Dr. Lam is an amazing dentist. She was incredibly sweet, thorough, and took the time to carefully go over each radiograph with me while explaining all of her findings clearly. I really appreciated how detailed and caring she was. She also has a very light hand — I honestly didn’t feel anything when she numbed me. I received a same-day crown, and the entire process only took about an hour and a half from start to finish.
Holly, the treatment coordinator, went over my treatment plan and benefits with me, and I fully understood everything she explained. The entire team made me feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in my dental care. Their modern technology was mind-blowing, and I was beyond impressed with the whole experience.

WARNING: If you’re comfortable with unsanitary conditions, careless dentistry, and a “we don’t care” attitude, then Grand Canyon Modern Dentistry might be the place for you.

As someone who writes and relies heavily on Google reviews to decide where to spend my money, I feel obligated to share my experience. Despite GCMD’s many positive reviews, mine was very different, and here’s why:

Unsanitary glove use: The dental assistant took my X‑rays wearing gloves, then touched multiple surfaces around the office and my mouth without changing them. The final straw was when she pushed the garbage down with the same gloves and then was about to touch me. Completely unacceptable.

Ignoring patient concerns: I had just explained to the dentist which areas of my mouth were sensitive. Yet when he checked my teeth, he treated the sensitive area like any other. When I reacted in pain, he casually said, “Oh, that’s right, it’s your sensitive area.” Not listening.

Reckless handling of instruments: While the explorer tool was still in my mouth, the dentist swiveled to talk to the assistant. When he turned back, the tool caught my lip, puncturing it and causing it to bleed. Absolutely careless.

After the lip incident, I got up and left. I immediately called and spoke with Lizz, the office manager. She apologized, but her tone was defensive and dismissive. She insisted they have procedures and that every room is sterilized after each patient, yet somehow dirty gloves in a patient’s mouth are acceptable, and she completely brushed off the dentist’s carelessness.

Policies and procedures only matter if they’re actually followed.

Update 4/13/2026

When I first spoke with Lizz after the incident, she assured me I would only be charged for the X‑ray/imaging. Today, I discovered that was untrue. They billed my insurance for a "D0150 Comprehensive Oral Evaluation", which was never performed. When I called Lizz, she denied ever telling me I’d only be charged for imaging. Why would I make that up?

This office has shown they cannot be trusted with your dental care, your safety, or with handling insurance billing responsibly. Just so sad!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this dental office. Although t it was close to home and covered by my insurance, the Dr. was shockingly dishonest. He recommended costly procedures that I didn’t even need. After seeing my regular dentist today (who is 10 miles away) I learned there was absolutely no need for any of the work the first doctor’s suggested. I felt deceived and will never go back here. On their website said “Dentist you can trust” I don’t think so this place is disgusted because the Dr. was very dishonest. Good luck with finding new patients if you guys continue overcharge customers with procedure that they don’t need.

This dentist is excellent. I came in for an emergency visit while out of town, and they accommodated me without any issues. Dr. Binagaman took the time to put the patient first, clearly prioritizing what I needed before anything else—something I haven’t experienced in a long time. The front desk staff, Liz and Faith, were also wonderful and very welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience.

Not at all impressed. We just moved to Vegas and needed a new dentist. My husband and I have gone to dentists consistently twice a year and when we have issues. They diagnosed us with periodontal disease, claimed I had a cavity and probably a cracked tooth. They probed so hard to get the deep measurements! They wanted us to have an expensive deep cleaning and then have our teeth cleaned every 3 months.

We did not believe their diagnosis and scheduled a checkup with a different dentist. If we had periodontal disease we wanted it taken care of. Completely different diagnosis at the new place and we also contacted our old dentist who didn’t believe we had periodontal disease.

Just beware if you schedule an appointment with them.

Scheduling and treatment plans were smooth and stress-free, and they worked with me to make sure everything fit my needs. The office is clean, modern, and relaxing, which makes a huge difference if you usually dislike dental visits.

Best dentist office EVER, from the moment I made my appointment with Faith I felt comfortable, she is AMAZING!! All of the staff are professional, kind and patient. The office is the cleanest I’ve seen yet, which is a big deal for me personally. Dr. Bingaman has the absolute best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced with a dentist. He is kind, gentle and thorough, and he discovered major issues that other dentists had missed. They also have all the specialist in this same office which was such a great relief to not have to go back and forth, they did everything right here!! I’m super grateful for this experience, I finally found what I’ve been looking for! I highly recommend Grand Canyon Modern Dentistry to anyone that wants the very best!

BEWARE: Do not go to this dentist office. They do not care about their patients. They have a periodontist that has a terrible chair side manner. He gives poor directions, makes bad treatment decisions and then blames you for the bad outcome. The office was not helpful and no one in the office was willing to take accountability. They are more about selling services than patient care!

Walked in a few minutes before my first appointment with them. Faith ensured I got processed in quickly and efficiently. A few minutes later Brian, the dental assistant, came and got me for x-rays. He also did a great job--accurate and efficient. And instead of having me go back to the waiting room to wait for my exam, we moved to the exam room where the dentist, Dr Bingaman, did a terrific job explaining my situation and doing my deep cleaning. We set follow up appointments and I was on my way.

The facility was clean, bright, and modern. Faith, Brian, and Dr Bingaman were friendly, supportive, and highly professional. We're new here in town (we're back as "re-locals"!) and we can choose who we want for dental care. We choose Grand Canyon Modern Dentistry.

Where do I start? I had a really great experience as a new patient with Modern Dentistry. From the check-in, to the x-ray images with Mariah, to the closer look with Dr. Rob, and closing out a bang with Faith who was truly amazing. Dr. Rob was very thorough, without me even having to ask, he explained things clearly. Mariah was very sweet & made sure I was comfortable during my cleaning. They have the right person at the front desk, Faith is a joy and her vibe is everything! I’m glad I checked out Modern Dentistry and hope to make it my dentist home for years to come.

This was the worse dental experience I've ever received and I was highly disappointed. I was not satisfied with any part of my visit or any of the services. I genuinely feel patient care is not a priority at this office. I felt as if the primary focus was revenue for the company. More time was spent discussing payment for services not needed then my concerns. At no point throughout my experience was a medical intake form offered. I was never asked at any point about allergies which is highly dangerous.
