Getting braces can be a big adjustment, but the staff has made the process easy and positive. They genuinely care about their patients and always make sure I’m doing well at each appointment. The office is clean, organized, and appointments are quick and efficient.

Their admin team to me is the most impressive as we had some personal issues happen and were unable to make some appointments. The admin team handled that with compassion and professionalism. I visited this office last week for a braces consultation. Check-in was easy, and I was taken back right away. The staff member who did my X-rays and photos felt a bit dry and not as friendly compared to the rest of the team, but everyone else I interacted with was kind and welcoming. I appreciated the privacy of being in an office when going over treatment options.

I met with Dr. Hansen, and he was great—very friendly, personable, and thorough in explaining everything. The main downside for me was pricing. Their quote was the highest I received: $5,600 for traditional braces and almost $6,000 for Invisalign, not including extractions. I expressed concern about the cost and was told their usual coordinator would follow up with possible options, but I never heard back.

I ultimately went with a more affordable office for my braces. I would recommend getting multiple consultations before making a decision. Overall, my visit was okay, and the office staff was very nice. The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the pricing, not the quality of care or the office itself.

Hi : it's Kim getting care with Hansen orthodontics. Love this office. Excellent care, great communication, friendly team. Im late 60's starting invisalign treatment. Never too old to have straight teeth. It is for the overall health of the teeth. In older years the teeth have a natural predisposition to move together (crowding) of th lower teeth. I had never worn brace and had straight teeth. Then come the mid 50's and the lower crowding was evident. This caused my lower teeth to feel like they were hitting the back of the upper front teeth. Caused some chipping. Went in for the consult and find Im able to get this issued fixed and put me back to where I was 20 years ago. Teeth feel cleaner and look great. Lots of compliments on my teeth. Dr Hansen and team are wonderful. I know first hand what i'm talking about since we saw first hand what his patients looked like before and after treatment. I am a hygienist!

Today was my consultation/first visit and it was so quick, easy, and smooth! The staff is extremely friendly and personable. I didn’t sit in the waiting room at all. I checked in and started paperwork, went straight back for photos and X-rays, and then met with Dr. Hansen to discuss my treatment plan. He’s got a great personality and definitely interacts and gets to know his patients! I’ve never had braces and I have very straight teeth. We've been going to this place for our 3 daughters and they are amazing people. Both doctors are really gentle with excellent bedside manner with the kids, Ronda at the front desk, is nice and I'm pretty sure she's a tooth fairy and Macy was so patient and gentle, especially with our special needs daughter. It is my pleasure to highly recommend Hansen Orthodontics Southwest. In a city in which many people are frustrated by long waiting times and lack of customer service, this is a practice that does everything the right way!
As a senior who wore metal braces many years ago, I was seeking an orthodontist who could correct some shifting that had occurred in my teeth over time. I was initially concerned that it would be awkward to be an older patient, but this could not be further from the truth. I see patients of all ages in the office, and I would encourage seniors who are contemplating orthodontia to be evaluated by Dr. Hansen. From my initial visit meeting with Holly, the treatment coordinator, Gianna who scanned my teeth and Dr. Hansen, I have had a wonderful experience. Dr. Hansen recommended Invisalign as the more gentle approach for aligning my teeth to achieve my desired outcome.

I have been a patient in this office for over a year now. I have yet to enter the office and not be greeted by name. I am often seen as soon as I arrive, and I have never waited over 10 minutes for my appointment. Anna and Debbie the receptionists could not be nicer or more friendly! Gianna is very professional and gentle as she scans my teeth. Within minutes of her completing the task, Dr. Hansen comes in to see me, to review the films and he answers any questions or concerns I may have. He also has that rare quality of being interested in you as a person, not just an orthodontic patient. The other thing I especially admire about Dr. Hansen is that he wants to know how I feel my correction is progressing and he has been open to continuing to make adjustments to achieve my desired result. On a few occasions I have been seen by Dr. Wyatt to adjust an uncomfortable attachment on a day Dr. Hansen is not in the office and he has been very pleasant and professional. On one occasion, Dr. Hansen was not available on my appointment day and I was told his new associate Dr. James would be reviewing my films and ordering my new aligners. I was pleasantly surprised that he was very knowledgeable and I believe he will be an asset to the practice.

Finally, I would encourage any adults seeking treatment to consider coming to this office as it is friendly, efficient, professional and very accommodating in scheduling convenient appointment times. In my particular profession, I do public speaking and meet with clients individually and in groups. It is easy to speak clearly wearing Invisalign aligners and most people are not even aware that I am wearing them.

Respectfully over this place. Why do I constantly need to make an appointment when I'm getting in 20-30 minutes later than I'm suppose too? It's so ridiculous... I even tried coming early right before their lunch break ends and yet my family are the last ones to be called. I watch people come 20 minutes after me get in before me when my appointment was way before their's.The annoying part is that it takes literally 4 minutes for my son to go in and get out! Excellent on-time record for all our visits. They usually call my son back within 3-6 minutes after check in, sometimes while I am still checking him in.
I like that Childrens Dental in the same office, can coordinate with them for wire removal for cleaning and X-rays, then just have the ortho replace and adjust the braces on the same visit. Great customer service!

Waiting times can be somewhat long but I’ve never been to a dentist or orthodontist where that isn’t true. Hansen is definitely worth it. Before the Covid joy-suck they provided a great waiting room environment that was very child-friendly and fun. They even held events for their customers. So orthodontics is very expensive! So before I drop the money I want to ensure that I’m dealing with a company (Orthodontist and employees) that is completely honest and that has integrity. I also want to make sure they have a process in place to teach my children the proper behaviors to ensure my investment in their teeth will last. I also want quality! Hansen’s is the best! No short cuts. They encourage and teach proper behaviors in our kids and their little contests and parties make us feel like family. Office is fun and interactive and you get a sense of who they are. There has been zero doubt about their integrity or honesty and I paid a lot of money, but in the end I feel like I robbed them! I don’t see how anyone could have issues with Hansen’s orthodontics at all. But the. Again there are those people out there that will complain all day to save a dollar or two.

Hanson orthodontics has been exceptional. I was a revision case, as I’d had Invisalign through my regular dentist and he transferred my case here to close one last, resistant gap! So far I’m on my second set of trays and hopefully the last, but the office staff has been warm and friendly each time I’ve gone in and the dr’s have both been so friendly and nice. Dr. Hanson is a perfectionist and though I was thinking my teeth were “good enough,” he encouraged me to get one more set to make them perfect. I’m glad I took his advice, because I realized the tiny gap would drive me crazy, and frankly, after paying for Invisalign, your teeth should be perfect! I’m confident my teeth will be just right by the time I am finished.

Truly exceptional service! Dr. Hansen’s team went above and beyond to exceed any expectations of what “great service” normally looks like. Not only did they go through a lengthy appeals process with my insurance company to NEGOTIATE A LOWER PRICE (seriously, who does that??), they also took extra time to remove an old dental appliance during our Invisalign appointment so we wouldn’t have to come back another day. They even made the time to polish a couple of blemishes off my son’s teeth that were bothering him. I love this orthodontist office. My son was referred by a friend to the dentist that shares the building and it’s been an amazing exporter e from day 1. When he got his braces on it took all of 30 min for tops and bottoms, they actually did both tops and bottoms same day and they helped explain how to take care of them thoroughly.

My first time having braces so I’m not sure how well they put them on, so far so good. Front desk is really nice but they almost mistakenly charged me an extra 150$ if I haven’t told them and compared to the price they gave me during consultation. While I was getting my brackets on the assistant I assume would stop putting on my brackets sometimes because she was talking about her food or drink order on her phone with her coworkers? After they put on the brackets it seemed like they didn’t know I had to get me teeth taken out till I told them, when they said I should? So they took the brackets off after I told them. As I said this is my first time having braces the workers doing my teeth were more talking to each other about their food than telling me what is happening in my mouth. I had to ask so many questions to only know what is happening in my mouth. Braces is a life changing experience. You’re expected to have them for a long time at least tell me what is happening.

Just finished my Invisalign treatment at Hansen Orthodontics.
I had previously been through treatment and I wanted to "touch up" some teeth that had moved after my retainer broke.
Dr. Hansen discussed with me what I wanted to fix, he provided some insight on what would be best, and then we got started.
It was super easy and now I am done.
I love my result, and in just 5 months of treatment!

Everyone is nice and helpful. I checked in and they took me back right away. Irene explained everything to me before she started and was really soft and gentle. I would recommend this place to anybody who is looking to do braces.
