Absolutely do not recommend this facility. As others have said their communication is abhorent. To start they are archaic in the demand that a referral must be faxed over. I've never encountered an office that does not utilize email. In addition they said it's common for patients to physically drive to their office to make appointments in person. Is that not a hint that your scheduling requirements and phone system suck. Add to that when they receive your referral they don't bother to contact you. You as the prospective patient are supposed to follow up. Never experienced that before either. I heard there was a good Endo here but I'll never know cause they aren't getting anymore of my time. I should have checked Yelp for facility reviews as well as researching the doctor.

We haven’t had a bad experience at Intermountain northwest location in the past years. Most recently we got in to see the nurse practitioner the next day, there was no wait at all, the staff was welcoming, the physician followed up on all the specialist visits, took care of everything we needed, she made suggestions for home patient care, checked on the medications, etc. They are a great group caring for people.

The changed in our Health Insurance made us also to change our Primary Care Physician (PCP) that our previous PCP were not in contract with our new Health Insurance. My appointment with the doctor was great. I give that 10 stars. However, the building the office is in has broken down elevators many times in a year. People have been caught in the elevator and had to wait for the fire department to get them out. If I get caught in a broken elevator I would have a major breakdown due to my anxiety so I am afraid to go to the doctor's office because they are on the 3rd floor. I'm told I have to call to get the code to open the door to use the stairs. I have to call the folks who work elsewhere and manage all incoming calls for Intermountain healthcare and hope they pass me to someone who can give me a code to open the door to the stairs so I can go to my appointment. This is unacceptable to me and others who use the building.

I booked an appt for myself and my husband in March. It’s now 1 week before his appt and they have to reschedule because the doctor he’s scheduled with doesn’t take our insurance. I specifically asked when booking the initial appt if they take our insurance and provided all of our info.. then one day before my appt they have to reschedule because the doctor got called to another office and won’t be available for another week. This place is unreliable. The last on the phone said they have to reschedule often because of doctors being called elsewhere.
