I was very sick and went in today with a fever and deep cough and an infection.
The doctor was fast and efficient and the nurse was wonderful and kind. She have me an IV of fluids because I was dehydrated and a blanket and kept checking in on me.

MA Leyda was terrific and offering her perspective. LPN Jessica came in to get the ball rolling and then PA Meaghan Durby assessed the situation and did a great job closing my sliced thumb. I went to Intermountain Healthcare on 10/25 because of a extreme cough. Front Desk receptionist Priscilla was very polite had me fill out paperwork took drivers license and insurance card then called back by Leticia, Nurse who took my vitals and told her drainage in throat and cough. then May, Nurse came in to swab nose for flu/covid and no fever. Then Dr. Perlot came in checked my nose throat and lungs and said I had issue with Nasal Sinus and suggested DexAmethasone injection to help with nasal sinus and allergic rhinitis. May, Nurse came in and gave me injection and waited and she brought in my paperwork so I could go home. The shot started to help relieve my nasty cough by 6 pm last night. Thank you all for helping me.

Be very careful I went in for a toe injury and received an xray. Ryan O’Hara MD signed off “no fracture of big toe”. Someone needs to go back to school because when I went to the podiatrist my big toe was clearly fractured LV foot and ankle took an Xray and showed me the fracture. URGENT care dr was wonderful and even told me it was fractured as she saw it on the xray herself so who ever is reading the X-rays needs to be retrained! Luckily I kept my podiatrist appt cause I still was in pain. Arrow shows the obvious fracture. Do better!

Today, they showed me they actually care about me as a human being, something I don’t see at many medical office anymore.” My oh my how things have changed. My doctor left and was assigned to the Julio Giron PA. HE is holding me hostage for my prescription refill, he wants me to come back a third time to discuss test results again after the second set of blood tests. I am out of medication, can’t afford the third $120 appointment plus the new tests, etc. Clearly they don’t care about my well being since they denied the refill, it always comes down to the almighty $… What a disappointment!

Took my wife in for blood work. Quest person was telling her that her appointment was half over 30 seconds in . Had just sat down, no needle in yet. Told her she couldn't get the bloodwork done for the appointment she came in for. So next week she won't have the right tests for her specialist. SLOW! AND poor communication. On March 27 my PCP, requested a referral to see an ENT. Waited and called Intermountain on April 7. Was told the referral was switched from and ENT to a dermatologist without notifying me. Later learned it takes 10 to 14 business days for a referral to be adjudicated. All unacceptable!

I knew I had strep throat before going, just needed correct medicine. I wait for almost 2 hours for a "doctor" to shine a light in my throat and write me a scrip. Turns out he should have given me 2 minutes of his time not one. If strep is viral, antibiotics will not help, only penicillin and amoxicillin will do the trick. Im the sickest I've ever been in my life, and these guys just added 3 more days to it bcz no one cares about the patient anymore, just those $$$$. Only go here if your comfortable with dying.

My doctor left this Intermountain facility in January of this year. I am on medication for diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, and I am a cancer survivor over 65yrs of age. I called today for an appointment and a young lady named Shanunte assisted me. She was rude and told me I could not get an appointment until June 2024. She also told me all the other facilities would be in the same position, not being able to offer me an appointment until next year. Do not choose this practice or facility if you need to see a doctor.

Tried repeatedly to return a call for my lab results and cant get an answer from my Dr or med assistant when they try to transfer. Worse yet is the woman that answered the phone at 4pm Mar 23rd. I visited Intermountain's West Lake Mead Urgent Care earlier this afternoon when I couldn't find same day appointment availability for a possible sinus infection within 20 miles of my home. Intermountain is seven minutes from my house; I just didn't know they existed since we just moved to that area at the end of September.

My husband and I arrived and, because I had some sympoms that overlap Covid symptoms, we checked in with the security guard as directed by a sign on the door and waited outside for someone to come out to take my information and the reason for my visit. A nurse came out within ten minutes, then told me to pull around back and wait in my car and they would be out to talk to me. Oh, in the meantime, they called to say that the wait would be approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours, which was fine with me, since I couldn't get in anywhere else the same day and we were traveling to WA state the next day.

We pulled around back and a nurse was out within 15 minutes or so to talk to me, then they sent me a link via text to complete the check-in process, which was easy. About 20-25 minutes later, the doctor came out and did a quick exam while I was in my car and said he would prescribe me antibiotics for sinusitis. I asked him to send the prescription to the Walmart pharmacy nearest the clinic. I called the pharmacy about 25 minutes after arriving home, and the prescription was already there and ready for pickup.

Going to the doctor can be stressful, especially while going to a new place, and this was a really good experience. Everyone we talked to was very nice, knowledgeable, and the system they have in place is well-organized. And the wait time was not nearly as long as I expected it might be. We'll definitely use this clinic for our urgent care needs in the future!

The office on lake mead in Henderson has the most amazing staff as well as drs. My refills get done over the weekend and I never wait more than 10 hours for mine to be filled. I would follow Dr. T Macanallen ANYWHERE!! Proper care is hard to find especially in Las Vegas when you take a barrage of meds from different drs. Dr. T has never made me feel like I needed to defend myself and my pain meds. He truly cares about his patients. He is why a man should be a dr. Less expensive by $50 and NO WAIT TIME, compared to CareNow on Horizon. Attendant Eric asked "May I?" before every step of standard check-in procedure: "May I take your temperature? May I move your arm to take your blood pressure?" Asking for consent made me feel very safe as a single, female patient. Dr Laurel listened to my needs and exceed expectations. She said "You know your body better than I do" when making a decision. Took my finances into consideration and said "all these scripts should be low price." Didn't give me any 'fancy new expensive stuff'.
Visit was REMARKABLY quick. Maybe fastest Urgent Care visit I've ever had. Half an hour, including check-in.
Highly recommend. Will use again. Great resource for locals.

The Dr. that covered for my primary was lacking in the fact that she jumped to her own conclusion instead of hearing me out. She prescribed meds that did nothing to help me. I then called my primary and tried to explain that the Dr. didn't let me explain and instead of listening they came back and said I don't like Dr's. And go to the E.R. Gee aren't there Dr's. There? I came to this facility during a major asthma attack. Staff didn’t ask me to fill out a bunch of paperwork or wait in the lobby to be called. I had a virtual appointment with Mary Kidwell, physicians assistant, Intramountain Health Lake Mead office covering for Wynn Urgent Care follow up due to a serious staph infection I had seen Dr. Tom for on 1/20/21. My skin was still weeping poison and I was out of antibiotics and scared because my eye had swollen shut. She was very precise analyzing my skins condition noticing I had sores in a nostril. She ordered more antibiotics and an ointment to be applied in ears and nostrils for staph resistance. That was last Thursday 2/3/21. With a gallon of water a day and her continued care my skin is drying up and I am beating this infection finally. Perfect care for not leaving my home as staph is very contagious. I am grateful she was available to help me.

Having something terribly wrong with my foot, I hobbled into intermountain Healthcare just off E Lake Mead Pkwy and W Van Wagenen. I was politely greeted by a security guard who checked me in (no appointment). I then checked in with a very polite receptionist, filled out all my paperwork with my smart phone and waited to be called which was only minutes later. All my vitals were taken by a very courteous aid, the medical professional (don’t know if NP, PA or MD) but she definitely was professional. My foot was x-rayed and she determined it was a bad case of gout whereupon she prescribed a medication which, by the way, got me walking almost normally the next day. All I can say is it was a very pleasant experience in spite of having a very painful foot.
This was actually my second visit to this facility (another story) but I did remember how very pleasant and professional they all were which is why I am a repeat customer and always will should I damage myself again. God Bless you folks at Intermountain Health!

I went to get tested for covid and right when I walked in they ask if I had symptoms and I did. They explained what steps were next and they assured me that I would be okay. They maintained social distance as they took care of me on the curbside, incase I did have covid. I was seen by 3 nurses and they set an appointment for me within an hour at their Wynn location. It was fast and convient and the nurses seem to really care for your health. Highly recommend!
