Do not go to this Dr. I had a terrible experience. The placement of one of my veneers was crooked. He tried to fix it and I received the same outcome. The veneers were extremely different than the temporary’s. And when I mentioned it his fix was to grind down my two front teeth making them slanted and not straight at all. Pain, suffering, time and money all to go to another dentist to fix his mistakes and spend more time and money. I will tell you what he told me when I last left his office, “Good luck!”.

I was hit by a drunk driver in 2024 and one of my cranial nerves in my face was impacted, which cut off blood flow to my teeth and jaw. Unfortunately my teeth started to die. I went to two other providers who had no answers or solutions for me. I found Dr. Downey online and I went in for a consultation. He immediately had a plan for me which will buy me some time with restorative care. He also was very understanding of my financial situation due to me being a single mom and needing to go in phases. I have been so happy with my results and am still in the middle of the process but we have made so much head way. His bedside manner is beyond professional and friendly. His staff is absolutely wonderful and caring. I made an appointment for my dad to see him. No one likes seeing the dentist, however I actually enjoy seeing all of them! Five stars!!!!

Dr. Downey and team have saved my teeth. My teeth haven't been this healthy since I was 10 years old. I've had decades of issues with "soft teeth", root canals, and was still getting cavities in my late 30s, despite brushing and flossing religiously. My teeth have always been extremely sensitive and dental appointments were excruciating. I searched for a practice that specializes in comfort dentistry, and have been a patient for about 4 years.

Dr. Downey is the only dentist who has ever sat in a conference room and explained general and my personal dental concerns, and created a plan for how to turn things around. When I said something hurt, or there was too much air, I have always been listened to and steps were taken to alleviate my discomfort. It took a lot of work to get me to a good base (the 1 hr crown is magic!), but I followed my plan and have reversed my gum regression, and for about 2 years have only needed cleanings. My sensitivity is minimal and continues to improve.

Even when I've had insurance that doesn't include Dr. Downey, I refuse to switch to another practice. Any out of pocket costs are more than covered by the respect, compassion, and care I've received.

I recently had 6 of my veneers replaced by Dr. Jason Downey—my originals were 23 years old—and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I had been following his work on Instagram for months before scheduling a virtual consultation, which was quick, easy, and surprisingly personal. Dr. Downey answered all of my questions before I even stepped foot in his office, and he even gave me his personal cell number for any concerns.

From the moment I arrived, his entire team—from the front office staff to the dental assistants—were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Dr. Downey is clear, concise, and truly takes the time to articulate every step of the process, which helped ease my nerves (especially since I had to wear temporaries for 3 weeks). When I had two temporaries break, he fit me in the same day—and even came in on a Sunday. That level of dedication is rare!

He delivered exactly what I asked for, while also offering great advice along the way. After seeing my updated smile, I decided to add 2 more veneers to balance everything out—and with his no-prep veneer option, the process was simple and seamless.

One of the things I also appreciated is how many photos he takes along the way. The before-and-after shots really helped me understand what I liked and allowed us to make adjustments together. He was also very patient with fixing my bite and making a new mouth guard. There can be many small adjustments to get things just right and he literally has an abundance of patience.

I’ve been going to dr Downey for over 10 years. He’s categorically the best dentist in vegas. I’ll share one anecdote that illustrates what kind of person he is.
Two years ago I had veneers on my top and bottom teeth.
He was supposed to do the tops one week and the bottoms the following week.
He did a phenomenal job on the top teeth and when I came In for the bottoms he was so honorable that he said, “You know, you really don’t show your bottoms, let’s save you the money and just do the tops”
He let go of a ton of coin to do the right thing.
I’m 62 and have been to myriad dentists. Trust me when I say none of them would turn down work to do the right thing. The others would actually make up stuff that you don’t need.
He’s truly one in a million in this greedy world.
Not only is he honest, but does the best work in the city. Have recommended him to my mom and whole family and they couldn’t be happier. Very thankful!

Before I let this dentist work on my mouth, it was fine. I could eat any food hard, soft, cold, hot. Now I can only eat soft food and room temperature. He replaced a filling that wasn’t bothering me at all. Even when x ray he said it wasn’t bad. He must’ve put it in wrong. I let him try to correct it a couple times. The other tooth he worked on was fine for a while then became super sensitive to hot cold. I miss being able to eat. All three areas he did work on have problems now. Sad. Prices are high, but not worth the extra. He will add fees to your quoted bill, unannounced. His dental exams seemed to be pretty good and thorough. His online portal allows you to ask questions and send video. Cool. He will answer video first time clients only. Also while in chair mid operation your religion and abortion standings will be questioned. Try your best to agree with whatever they say about the topics. It seems to effect the outcome of how your procedure will go. Sadly I answered not accordingly cause I was so surprised by the topic mid operation. Wanted to like this place, they come across as super nice and accommodating. But then it just goes south after that. Be very careful about your finances and insurance at this place. Get everything in writing. And do your research before you follow his suggestions. He may be limited to what he knows and other options elsewhere could be possible.
Deeply sad I can’t eat normal anymore, and I didn’t have this issue before I paid a decent amount of money to get work done. That may have just been an upsell. I gave them chances to correct it. Failed.

Oh my goodness, I just had the best cleaning ever! Adrienne was so thorough, scraping all the calculus off my back molars and the back side of my incisors. She asked me to do a tongue check afterward: "Does everything feel smooth?" Like butter.

I've been going to this clinic for years and I guess my previous hygienist retired, so I'm happy that the quality of care is as good as ever. I've been lucky that I haven't needed much more than regular cleanings, but I appreciate how Dr. Downey and his staff always take the time to answer my questions and they genuinely seem to care about my health.

I highly recommend Dr. Downey and his staff. They always make me feel welcome! The hygienists, especially Adrienne, pay attention to details. They ask questions about my general health and how my teeth are doing. When I'm getting my teeth cleaned, she tells me what's going on in each step and gives good advice on brushing and flossing. They also make sure that I'm comfortable in the chair -- they use cushy supports and give patients sunglasses to cover their eyes. It's really nice to have the glasses so the bright light they use isn't shining right in my face.

My daughter needed two baby teeth pulled that weren’t getting loose while the permanent teeth were coming in. Dr Downey was so efficient, and took the time to explain to her what he would do. Dr. Downey is the best! He has all of the latest in equipment and the know how to use it. For me, that meant one visit to replace the crown I broke over the weekend.

His amazing staff got me in the very next day (they take such good care of you there).

With his wickedly cool setup, Dr. Downey can image the tooth and area around it, build the tooth on the screen, then send it to the machine that creates the tooth in 15 minutes!

Add in some time for cleaning, curing, placement, and x-rays and the whole process for a perfect match and I was done in under 2 hours for something that used to take two days!

And even though you can't see the tooth easily, it's a perfect match.

I was worried that my 2 year old dentures were not made right because I havent been aqble to chew and cut steak well with them and at the recomendation of a friend at Dr Downeys I scheduled a checkup of them and he told me they were great and could not have been made better and that I shouldnt have thought that I would be able to chew as good with dentures as with my natural teeth and suggested that I just cut my steaks smaller and enjoy them. TOTALLY a GREAT professional dentist and not there to just sell you something---and a great neighbor living down the street from me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!

Wonderful place, from the front desk to the best doctor in Las Vegas. Dr. Downey is very professional, I had a lot of work on my teeth and for months we fixed everything. He made the whole process so easy, explaining everything from the beginning to the end. It made me very relaxed and less anxiety.

By far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. This was my first time going to see Dr. Downey and I’m so glad To have gotten the recommendation from a good friend. The office is clean, neat, and the staff is amazing! Especially during this COVID-19, the staff is ensuring that you do not risk getting infected. The office was extremely clean, I was provided a mask upon entry, temperature was taken, and had to answer questions related to COVID before proceeding with the appointment. Dr. Downey himself is just an outstanding dentist, highly recommend. Will never go to another dentist especially in the Las Vegas area

Dr. Downey and his wonderful staff have been providing dental services to my wife and I for in excess of 20 years. During this time, we were always made to feel as if we were their most important patients. If there was a time when we needed urgent dental care, and unfortunately there were a few those times, Dr. Downey always immediately squeezed us into his busy schedule.

The dental care we received was always the very best, delivered professionally in a friendly, caring manner. We were always confident the dental care recommended by Dr. Downey was the right option and in our best interest.

I have been a patient of this office for over 30 years. Loved Dr. Hale...the best...I have been to a few other dentist here in town, and even though they were ok...nothing compares to Dr. Hale BUT...now Dr. Downey, Dr. Hales nephew has learned from the best! I just had a root canal and cap put on by Dr. Downey in 2 hours....Never had a problem with it and he was gentle and kind to this whimp. He was fast, accurate, and the office STAFF...wow...awesome, friendly...The office is always clean...and they have great hygienist, specially Ms. Adrienne. love her... I was visiting Las Vegas on business during the first week of April, 2014. I accidentally pulled off the porcelain crown on a rear molar. With luck my business partner, a Vegas resident referred me to, in his words, "The best dentists in the city." I got an appointment the next day and everything about Hale and Downey was fantastic. They were kind, friendly, and the most professional experts. They even analyzed the crown composition to be sure to use the right adhesive. It was all fast, easy, painless and not expensive -- it was a snap. I live in Los Angeles and am very tempted to make Hale and Downey my regular dentists. They are easily worth the travel every six months!

I was in town for a convention and had lost a Veneer, of ocurse it was right in front, and had to be with clients most fo the day.

After trying a few places they were able to take me within 30 minutes, drove out and they got me in and out and were great about it.

Not only were they helpful, their rates are better than what I pay here in LA. Wish they were closer.
