I had a new patient visit w Dr. T. The reception staff greeted me and promptly got me checked in. Relieved there were no additional intake forms to fill out, duplicating info provided via the portal. Only about a 5-10 min wait to be taken to a patient room. Z, dr. Tβs MA, was super friendly and at the same time professional. She made me feel at ease. She went over my info and took my vitals. Dr. T came in just a few minutes later. I also found him professional while also being friendly. I felt comfortable discussing any concerns and asking questions. He listened well and gave suggestions and a course forward. Checkout was super easy and the billing receptionist was also friendly and efficient. Iβve rarely found BOTH a Dr and medical staff so on top of thingsβ willing to help, knowledgeable, and personable. Def would recommend!

It has been a pleasure having Dr Tanbakuchi as my primary care doctor. I'm sure I drive him nuts with my resistance to cholesterol meds (read the messaging on the prescription!), but he actually cares. I'm not just a number to hurry up and get out in 10 minutes. I definitely appreciate the care and concern. He hears the stories about all the other doctors who have long forgotten 'first, do no harm'. The staff at this location are equally as nice as can be. Always pleasant and helpful. Im glad im here before all patient slots get filled up. Still can say the same!

Great general practitioner! Takes time to listen to any concerns or questions you may have and in no way does it feel like they are trying to get you in and out as fast as possible. Referrals are done exceptionally fast sometimes as soon as the following day and the waiting room is never crowded and wait times are extremely short. The front desk staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful as well. I would highly recommend Dr. T to anyone looking for a new GP to be their primary care physician!

The doctor's visit with my son was good and informational. We just wanted to establish a rapport with the doctor in case of any illness my son may occur. We know as a new patient it's hard to get an appointment when you need it most. My husband really liked Dr Joseph Tanbakuchi. He is patient. He listens to your concern. My mother recently had her first visit with Dr. Joseph H. Tanbakuchi, and she couldnβt stop raving about how wonderful the experience was. As a new patient with specific needs, including a translator, she felt genuinely cared for from the start. Dr. Tanbakuchi was considerate of her language barrier and made sure she felt heard and understood.
She told me that both he and his staff created an atmosphere that put her completely at ease. My mom felt very comfortable during the appointment and was impressed by how attentive and compassionate Dr. Tanbakuchi was. She even mentioned that he is 1000% better than her previous doctor!
It means so much to me to hear that my mom feels sheβs in great hands.

My best dr appt. ever. I had bad experiences here prior, switched to Dr Tanbakuchi. He was patient, helpful and kind. The man at the check-in great on every visit. His nurse that checked me in, did vitals was very nice, helpful and kind.
My previous visits, except for check/in I didnβt feel kindness, at this dr office.
I tried my best with Amber Lee. Not treated with βkindnessβ which ok, just do my medical properly but lots of issues with prescriptions, tests, and my osteoporosis diagnosis. Worst care ever in my 66 yrs.
So, very happy now with the change and care.

Once again, I tried to schedule another appointment a year later hoping staff changes had taken place. That was not the case. ZERO customer service skills. While Dr. Tanbakuchi is a good doctor, I was treated with complete disrespect AGAIN by his unqualified and bitter staff. I barely heard my name called and never got a hello on the way in, just dirty looks. I wasn't acknowledged at all and while no words were spoken in front of the scale for me to be weighed, I asked if I was to take off my shoes or not, and she rudely replied shortly and abrupt - "It's up to you". The bad attitude on a scale of 1-10 was 20 at minimum. The other staff member Shantey was just as rude if not worse. They are all on the bandwagon to treat patients
with utter disrespect to push them out and not have to do their jobs, and I'm sure I'm not the only patient that has moved due to these people. I had to get bloodwork and the staff member that took blood was the only one that smiled and said hello to me. The door was closed and Shantey opened the door and sternly told the staff member- "This door HAS to stay open" while she pretended to be looking at files in the back room, so she could try to hear what we were saying. Completely unacceptable behavior for any staff members medical or not. Do yourself a favor, do NOT go here or you will be put in the boxing ring with these animals who do NOT deserve to have a job. My cardiologist with the same company (Intermountain Health) his staff is the complete opposite. I had two appointments back to back to get them over with for the year. When I told my cardiologist about my experience he insured me I would not have that problem with his staff, and I did not. They were pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Tanbakuchi's staff needs to take customer service classes from them to learn how to treat their employer's patients. I had to look for another doctor to get away from the bullies that run this office, unfortunately.
