In response to your reply: The other tenants in the building insist it is YOUR alarm. But you are too busy and arrogant to cut your vacation short to resolve this issue that is affecting other businesses and more importantly, the residents that are unfortunate enough to have to live around your business. I hope your compassion towards your patients is better than how you treat the general public.

Office is closed for a few days, but their alarm system is going off constantly. Nobody to turn it off or fix it until THURSDAY when they get back. So everyone living near there has to listen to their siren 3 DAYS? Very responsible neighbors.

Dr Shields does top notch work. His staff is really great. I’ve had a cleaning, root canal, and some fillings done here. I am super pleased. It’s no longer convenient for me to go to with my new schedule. The days that would be convenient for me, would be the days that Dr Shields is in the Summerlin location. This was my very first visit and I was totally impressed. Naomi, at the front desk, made me feel comfortable; like I had been going there for years. Recently saw DR Shields with a new problem and as usual I received the best professional care available in Las Vegas, Henderson or the lower 48.
The entire office staff is first rate. Professional can best describe them all.
We all have our pet peeves and mine is waiting eons on the phone till it’s first answered. Well I very seldom need to wait more than 30/45 seconds before they pickup. For that reason alone I’d call Shields Family Dentistry. !!

I did see the new dentist at the office and he was very pleasant. The visit was not as ideal in comparison to my previous visits as they were short staffed that day. Both the dentist and his assistant did explain it to me though and I truly appreciate their honesty and effort on handling everything as much as they can. I’m curious though what had happened to the dental hygienist that cleaned me last time. I liked her as she is thorough and efficient.

I went to Shields Family Dentistry for a second opinion due to the fact that I had a bad experience at the dentist I visited before them. They were very personable and the dentist was very knowledgeable, even on the consultation for invisalign. He knew exactly what I needed and was confident in his opinion. The previous dentist simply said I was not a candidate for invisalign and that my only choice was braces. I'm looking forward to my next visit with them, I feel confident that they will take good care in my following procedures.

When my teeth were cleaned it was noticed that a molar was cracked and in danger of breaking off. I scheduled a crown and the preliminary work was quickly done. The crown was attached and I came home to adjust. The fit seemed slightly off so I was told please come back and we will adjust. The adjustment was an itty bitty off and the Doctor and staff were so welcoming and anxious to solve the issue. They are a great office and I feel comfortable with the staff and their precautions to keep me safe as they take care of my dental issues.

What a difference from my other dentist. I had the most thorough exam and cleaning I have had in 5 years. The whole medical team were friendly and very professional. Shields Family Dentistry is the best! I have been a very happy patient since day 1 (I was a patient of the previous practice). The front office staff is amazing! Dr. Shields (Mr. though I’ve also seen the Mrs. and she also rocks) is very thorough, patient and makes sure you understand procedures and the steps before it happens so you aren’t thinking when does the torture end (come on, we all know root canals suck). Overall, I recommend this practice to all of my friends. I’ve never hated going to the dentist and I have to say that 90% of that reason is the entire staff! They have all been there for a very long time and it’s clearly a testament to how Dr. Shields treats his employees and his patience!
