Dr Hancock at Desert Orthopaedic Center, PA Milan, the assistant and even the X-ray personnel were all super courteous and professional. I really appreciate all the honest analysis of my shoulder pain issues. Even though a cortisone shot can be very painful there cold spray, ultrasound machine and the reassurance from PA Milan helped me take my mind off of it. Wow! I arrived about 20 mins early and was greeted by the front office: they processed me and took me back before my scheduled appointment! Radiological technician was friendly and in the X-ray room on the tv screen was explanations of the X-rays being taken. The medical assistant was through, and Dr Hancock spent time explaining my MRI results! Answered my questions! The PA was also very nice and walked me through my procedure! I was very nervous before the appointment but I was very comfortable after and I feel confident in Dr. Hancock abs his team! I highly recommend Desert Orthopaedic Center- Dr. Hancock!

I was in a lot of pain with my arm & shoulder. The whole team was very considerate and compassionate. I really appreciated the doctor wanted to start with physical therapy and scheduled a 6-week follow up. If things didn’t get better, they would do more tests. He was very concerned about taking care of the problem and not masking it with pain meds.

I have been having problems with my hip for ~ 6 weeks. Called for an appointment with Dr. Hancock as he had operated on my wife for shoulder injury and was very pleased with the results. I am amazed at the speed with which DOC was able to get me in to see Dr. Hancock, and then the speed with scheduling my hip surgery! From initial call to the appointment was one week, and am now scheduled for surgery on April 15 just three weeks away. I have all the confidence in both Dr. Hancock and his P.A. Milan Patel.

I would recommend Dr Hancock to everyone. He is calming yet to the point. I don’t like doctors who talk in circles and you have to figure out what they’re talking about. Dr Hancock is NOT one of those. He’s respectful and polite and I always feel like I’m the only patient he has. His staff has been very accommodating and always a nice vibe in the office.

First time going here. I went to the office on Centennial.
The front office girls were really very kind, the nurse that brought me back was very kind. The girl that took my x-rays was very kind.
Dr. Hancock was nice. He explained on what was going on with my shoulder. Said we didn't want it to become frozen. Then we have to do an MRI and go from there. So it is PT until the next time I see him.
Overall it was a great experience.

I had a short wait., the assistant i was so impressed with details typing in my injuries, medical issues. My doctor what a personable, pleasant person to make you feel comfortable. i was impressed with patient manners explaining to me, not rushing me or making me feel less, as a past doctor made me feel didn't have the time, and insulting. It’s a big operation, but it’s very efficiently run things happen on time people know who you are. They ask questions to understand what you need. Everyone to a person was professional, efficient, empathetic, and competent. Dr. Hancock explains in detail, in layman’s terms, his observations, conclusions and recommendations. Dr. Hancock did not listen to anything I had to say. Blamed the back of my knee hurting to being over weight and having early arthritis. Showed me x-rays of the FRONT on my knee. Told him the pain was in the back, and does not feel like anything to do with my bones. He didn't care, and dismissed me. Then just happen to have a business card (I hope you can hear my sarcastic tone there) of a nutritionist to "help me".
Basically just another lazy doctor who does not care but wants money....

I have been using Desert Orthopedic Center for over 8 years. Had a knee replacement and I think it is the best job ever. Going now as I had a fall and damaged an already bad knee. I am trying the gel shot and so far I believe I am a little better. At 77 I am doing everything I can to keep from doing a total replacement. Drs. Hancock and Patel have been very nice and explained explained all the pros and cons of my options.
