I've always had great experiences at Las Vegas Heart Associates, starting with very easy office accessibility via phone, to the friendly & efficient front office staff, to the very short waits, to the great professional nurses & other back office staff, to the office scheduling & inter-relationship with Mt View Hospital (just right upstairs!), and of course, the cherry on top is to get to interact with Dr. Levisman, who is an amazing doctor with great bedside manner, in a branch of medicine where it can be pretty serious stuff at times, but he always is a welcoming presence and a top-quality purveyor of excellent cardiology. What type of place is this that see a patiente in march 2026, send some test, don t have time to see the patience again until june 2026, they call and leave a voicemail cancelling that appoitnment, then set another visit for late in august, and the same day of the appointment aomeone call and leave a mesaage stating the appointment was cancelled again and they will call to talk to us and give results over the phone, when? OFFICE & SURGERY SCHEDULER STAFF TERRIBLE & MISTAKES MADE ON MOTHER'S HEART PROCEDURE! My mother has been going to Dr. Levisman for a year now. You can NEVER get through to the office staff and when you do, they are rude, obnoxious, and down-right unprofessional. They rarely return phone calls and they give incorrect information on how to get insurance issues fixed or put a request for medical records to name a few. The final act was a heart procedure my mother underwent with Dr. Levisman that left her with three psuedo-anyrisms on her femoral artery. They released her against my concerns and two 911 calls later with additional surgery and hospital stays later, she's finally on the road of mending. I am writing this review to save anyone thinking of using this group and office staff the trouble. Stay away... they're just awful!

I chose 5 stars because everything about my visit was top notch. The front office staff were nice and welcoming. I got into the exam room on time. The check-in staff was nice and welcoming. My nurse practitioner Melissa was extremely thorough in her explanation of my test results to the point that she excused herself to double check her answer to one of my questions. This allowed my conversation with the doctor to be that much more productive. Finally, the office staff that checked me out and scheduled my next appointment were just as nice and friendly as the check-in staff was.

We go to this cardiology office. My husband's cardiologist Dr Antony Dota practices here. We appreciate his knowledge and assistance in explaining reports or tests we've had done for my husband's heart health. The office staff is helpful and when we visit provides great assistance for rx refills and other notes for my husband's Healthcare chart. There is plenty of parking, however it is a larger medical building so it can be busy at times, so you may need to walk a distance to get back to the building from the parking lot. You can drop off at the front door area and then find a space. There is adequate handicap parking spaces too, but they are normally full.

Last summer I needed to change my appointment. I left 13 messages (1 every 48 hrs!) with 0 return calls. Luckily, on the 14th try, a human answered the phone. This week, again, no return call from a human. However, in trying to answer a text message from them about my appointment, it was cancelled. This office could possibly qualify for worst administrative service on the planet. There appears to be no way to contact a human being, even when urgently needed.

I see one of the heart specialists here who I really like and trust but I am OVER the lack of phone response when calling. It is very clear talking to patients is NOT their priority unless the patients are in front of their face and can't be ignored. 9 times out of 10 when you call for refills or appointments they DO NOT answer the phone, and you have to listen to this offensive lecturey message that you better not leave more than one voicemail or they will be sure to make you wait 3 times as long for a response etc. WELL IF YOU WOULD ANSWER THE DAMN PHONES to begin with you wouldnt have a bunch of voice mails to handle! Duh! Get over yourselves already. You are not too important to answer patients when we call.

There is NO excuse for you to have incoming calls dead end at a voicemail nobody checks or responds to. If the people at the front desk are busy I should be able to HOLD in a queue until they aren't.

As a new resident of Las Vegas with a long history of cardiac issues, I was happy when I met Dr. Jiji at my first appointment in mid September. Her concern was genuine as I presented her with many pages of cardiologists' notes and information on my HOCM experience, and all the data on my pacemakers and each of their implantation histories.

She arranged for me to see Dr. Koide, the electrophysiologist, in late October. At that time I did not realize I was going to be out of town at a wedding and it would be difficult for me to make that October appointment. But trying to get in touch with the office to reschedule Dr. Kiode in October was impossible. I left messages at the appropriate extensions but didn't hear anything back until a few days before the appointment I was trying to change. I was then told that if I didn't make it to that October appointment I would most likely be waiting until December, and that wasn't going to work for me, so I made sure I could keep the October appointment, which was arranged to discuss the pacemaker issues my cardiologist at UPenn noticed at my June appointment that were distressing to me. When I met with Dr. Koide I was surprised and disappointed that he hadn't been provided with any of the documentation I had provided to Dr. Jiji two months prior, and had hoped he was ready to suggest options based on what he read. After talking with him for several minutes he appeared comfortable waiting until December 17, at which time I would be seeing both him and Dr. Jiji.
Another communication snafu involved my difficulty arranging for the Echocardiogram. Each time I called to schedule it the radiology place said they hadn't gotten any information on me yet, so I was calling back and forth to see what the hold up was until ultimately I had to drive over to Dr. Jiji's office to pick up the order for the Echo, but when I went to the 4th floor to schedule the test I was sent over to Red Rock because they are the ones who are supposed to schedule the test, and until I walked in there with the order in my hand, they said they had never seen the order. Fortunately they were able to fill a cancellation the following day (today), so the Echo has been done. I appreciated the manager's phone call yesterday while I was driving home, and the apologies she expressed for all of the stress experienced over the past several weeks trying to make appointments to have my pacemaker issues addressed. I am hopeful that I can put all of this behind me, and that I made the right choice to remain with this practice.

I am back to edit my original review on the staffing situation. This practice has outstanding doctors, and this is why they are slammed with so many phone calls on a daily basis. Too many calls in one day and not enough staff who are willing to come in to work and do their jobs leads to a communication pile up. They also have an outstanding practice manager, Sandy, and Sandy is not only very responsive to patient communication problems/issues, she is doing her best, and her best is outstanding.

If you are having an impossible time getting through to these folks on the phone, getting a hold of Sandy will resolve the problem. Ty so much Sandy for being there for us, the patients and for the doctors who need staff to run their practice smoothly so they can focus on what they do so well, helping their patients get better.

There are no words… 2018 I was in huge trouble. Dr Jiji and Dr Levisman are the two best cardiologists in the state of Nevada. Please don’t trust just anyone with your heart health. My 85yo Mom would not still be here if these two didn’t take an active role in her heart issues which also involves working with nephrology and pulmonologist. This team of Doctors, Dr.Levisman, Dr.Chung, all the nurses, PA’s, Sandy Aldana and all the staff are remarkable in many ways. I just had a valve replacement last month and I've had a very good experience with all of them. My only thing I would like to see or experience would be improved telephone access at the office. Lots of times no answer and must leave voice mail and the return calls could improve on timing. But other than that, this facility and all involved with them is truly a breath of fresh air in a time of difficult medical services. Very much worth the 2hour drive for quality caring treatment. Mountain View hospital is truly remarkable as well the nurses, and all staff were wonderful during my stay. Dr. Runyon and his assistant were fantastic in assuring that I did not have a bad experience during surgery. My nurse McKenzie was outstanding as well. I wish I could mention each one individually but am terrible at remembering names. Thank you all for a wonderful experience

In the same boat as Ms. Skelton. Been almost 2 months and can't get someone on the phone to verify what radiology procedure i needed. When leaving the office for my initial appt, I asked for documentation but couldn't get it after waiting over 40 minutes after my appointment. I requested it be sent to me BUT never received anything. I can't make a follow-up until I get the requested scans. I like the doctor I saw but wondering why you can never get anybody on the phone to personally speak to when calling. I've left messages and haven't received a response. I understand! being busy but other offices are as well and they manage to answer calls for the most part. This is a really nice office so I'm hoping this can be worked out. But if you really needed something, you probably have to go to the office or wait a long time. 😞

Update: Initial issue was finally resolved but now I still can't get the test I need because they didn't send in the required info/records to my insurance which is causing more delays in getting this test done. Just verified that my insurance stated they contacted the office twice requesting the info and they didn't respond back nor send the requested info so my breath was denied. What does it take to get important standard tasks done here? Im not trying to complain but this is something I feel I need to have done to figure out my health issue and I feel like my well-being isn't important enough to warrant being provided competent, on-time, reliable service. I'm hoping this can be resolved sooner rather than later.

I had a follow up visit with Dr. Dota after a heart ablation procedure in December. Dr. Doda listens to my questions and answers them thoroughly with all the details that I need to make me comfortable with my medication’s and lab work. I was there in 2/14/2025. I received a bill for an ekg I NEVER received! Spoke to office manager, of course they have all the evidence to back them up, and because I trusted them, I am now stuck with a bill for service I didn’t receive and I CANT FIGHT IT BECAUSE I HAVE NO PROOF. My point is, they may have all the electronic proof, how do I know know it wasn’t manipulated???? Be careful!!! BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE!!!
FOLLOW UP: after my post, sandy the office manager reached out, I have to say, she was eager to rectify the situation, turns out billing code error. Bottom line, the fact that she reached out, researched the problem and rectified it restores my trust again and really shows they are striving to do their best…after all… we are all human.

I would give the medical staff a five star review. The doctor's and nurses are great, but the ability to talk to a human is nonexistent. I have been waiting since the first of February to get a cardiac clearance. My other doctor's office has sent on three faxes, I have called numerous times and left messages, but to no avail. Just had three stints installed, Dr Daoud and Dr Dota did an excellent job on me. After when I came to, I felt instant pressure relief off my heart. I want to say thank you for a job well done! LV Heart is an amazing place, everyone there is Exceptional. And Mountain View Hospital was great too, and the nurses! The front desk people were great but that's about all I can say at this point. The doctor implied that I am just fat and out of shape but because of blood work and family history still ordered a cardio work up. That was a month ago and I still haven't heard anything further about the testing. I called the office after 2 weeks like their voicemail says, then again after 3 business days and then again after another 3 business days and have not received a call back with an update. Extremely frustrated at this point.

Dr. Daoud is great, but the rest of this office is either severely understaffed or incredibly disorganized.

Getting someone to pick up the phone feels like a miracle, and I've had to follow up multiple times to get test results, orders, etc sent over to other providers. It can take weeks to get a call back. Getting this office to send over a requisition for some tests to another office has taken 3+ months now. This is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Given the nature of the health problems treated here, you'd want a bit more professionalism, urgency, and organization.

My experience with the Las Vegas Heart Association was exceptional from the beginning. They quickly accommodated us for an appointment despite our scheduling constraints. The check-in personnel were extremely kind and patient. The nurse was equally kind and personable. Dr. Daoud was extraordinary—so kind, attentive, and personal. He listened to our concerns and promptly ordered additional tests, coordinating everything quickly. When I asked the staff to expedite the tests, they were understanding. The location is convenient, and the lobby is spacious and not crowded. This is exactly how all offices should be: compassionate, professional, and empathetic. I walked out extremely impressed with the service.

I have been in good health for most of my life and then almost two years ago I was hospitalized with covid and it has left its scares on my lungs and some issues with my heart. This has left me with some fear and confusion. I decided to see Doctor Dota and I knew he was a caring and good man besides being a highly skilled doctor. I was hospitalized last weekend and Dr. Levisman was there for me. After a short period of time I have no doubt that I am bleesed with a great team, a very skilled team.
