I was very impressed with my treatment from when I entered the office and greeted by your front office staff, to when I left. I live two hours away. Once I signed in, Dr. Renk came to the waiting room and introduced himself. This is rare to see. We went to his office where we discussed my paperwork I had to complete and why I was recommended to him and what he was going to do first. Dr. Renk made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Renk is a miracle worker! His staff is amazing. I have had 2 previous sets of teeth, this is the first from Dr. Renk. He takes the time to listen to your problems and concerns. The teeth are beautiful, they are aligned perfectly, and I can eat without "glue". He makes them in his office instead of sending them to a lab. I forget I'm wearing dentures. The teeth may cost a little more, but totally worth it. I now have a beautiful smile and can eat comfortably and without worry that they'll pop out into the salad bowl. Dr. Renk and staff are friendly and professional, eager to help. It can be difficult to find a prosthodontist that knows how to work with the obturator I require following cancer 30 some years ago. Some states have no one. I consider myself lucky that Dr. Renk keeps himself up to date and even develops new technology to improve the use and longevity of my prosthesis. I wish I could say my experience was 5 stars. I am astounded by these great reviews. Dr. Renk proposed a treatment plan for me to correct my TMJ by adjusting my bite, which he claimed to have done successfully many times. I had perfectly healthy teeth, he ground down all of them to stumps, and then crowned. After completion, not only was my TMJ not corrected, it is worse, and I have pain all the time in almost all of my teeth. Cost for this was $70,000. Saw other specialists since, all of them have advised that occlusion adjustment can NEVER correct TMJ. I had filed a complaint with the Nevada Dental Board which they rejected, not a surprise as NDB is well known for being corrupt. There are whistleblowers who quit working there, stating that NDB always looks after Dentists only, not the patients, and these people have recently filed lawsuits of their own against the Board. I now am filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals office. If you are thinking of having a costly treatment with Dr, Renk, please be careful and get a second opinion first.

Dr. Renk is a top professional in his field, I feel really fortunate that I choose him to create my mouth guard and investigate my options for TMJ treatment. First he had ne get a scan to see the structural condition of my jaw and associated joints. The provides information regarding the ability for my joint to be allowed to be repositioned for treatment. We found as I suspected by joint is pretty much bone on bone. I am a grinder more heavy in years past but still....I provided recommendations with success percentages. Bottom line I am not a good candidate for addressing TMJ with a mouth guard.
I decided to get a custom fit guard to replace the boil and bite guard I was using. What a difference the guard has made ! Amazing fit, and my husband says my snoring has decreased Significantly !!!. My jaw doesn't hurt in the morning ever ( the was still happening with boil and bite guard some since they flex and grinders can still mash the plastic).
Love my guard and the case and love the experience with Dr. Renk, his staff is exceptionally friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Don't go anywhere else ; I went to 2 other ' Dentist' offices for consults on snoring guards/ TMJ resolution and they didn't bother going to the extent that Dr. Renk did to confirm with science ( the CT scan) if I was a good candidate for their treatment. Important to not the 2 offices I visited took Medicare for payment, I am extremely disappointed that Medicare doesn't require more data to confirm treatment is viable for a patient in the dental arena. Dr. Renk doesn't take Insurance, but he will save you money in the long run and provide a far better quality product and experience then the ' Medicare' accepting providers for this particular problem.

Dr. Renk is a true artist, not only does he do a stellar job but he along with his entire office are as warm and friendly as I have ever experienced. My mother had a horrible experience at a different dentist, her teeth looked like horse teeth, she was quite nervous to trust another dentist, but as soon as we met Dr. Renk we immediately knew that not only would he make sure my mother was happy but also that he would never let my mother leave until he was completely satisfied. If you are searching for a great prosthodontist Dr. Renk can offer his services to you, you can consider yourself to be one of the lucky ones. Dr. Renk was recommended to me by a trusted Doctor locally after I had a very bad experience with my previous dentist and ongoing issues for 5 years previously. I was very frustrated with my situation, and it was a hard case that I didn’t know if there was a viable solution.

In general, the office is very clean and his front office staff and assistant are pleasant and professional. From my second appointment with Dr. Renk, I realized I was being treated by a doctor who was an expert in his field and one who uses advanced technology. Dr. Renk will listen to your problems and will show a deep understanding of your situation. He checks your condition thoroughly, works in a very precise manor and will plan a custom-made esthetic solution for your problem.

Just a week after my new prothesis has been completed, there has already been a significant improvement in my condition as my gums are starting to heal. Cleaning the prothesis after eating is much easier and more effective than I had previously. Dr. Renk and his staff were absolutely amazing!! I was in the middle of a full mouth reconstruction that wasn't going very well.
I had gone to my son's wedding and my front tooth came out the night before and I was devastated, and mind you this was the third time this had happened. So when I got back I went to see Dr Renk. It was determined that I now was going need full upper and lower immediate dentures. All the time and money spent was a bust. Thank God he is a perfectionist, cause no one can even tell that they aren't my natural teeth. He made one of the worst times of my life not so bad. You are the best and I am forever grateful.

I have a very complicated dental situation that started when I was very young. I was talked into having some procedures done a long time ago by a dentist who totally butchered my teeth and gums. It took years and several surgeries to help repair as much as possible. After the prosthodontist I had been seeing moved to Costa Rica I had to find someone else. I am very fortunate to have found Dr Renk and his wonderful staff here in Las Vegas. From the first time I walked through the door I knew I made the right choice. My daughter is 17 years old and has been dealing with Regional Odontodysplaysia her whole life. Before Junior High, this wasn't much of an issue because kids often have missing teeth. As she grew older her self esteem dropped tremendously. We were referred to Dr. Renk after having a bad experience with another prosthodontist. Dr. Renk is such a kind and considerate man. Listening to what my daughter needed treating her with dignity and respect as well as spending an eminence amount of time making just the right appliance for her. When we walked out of the office this last time with the appliance he had made/altered my daughter's smile said it all. It's a very emotional moment for a mom to witness her child who mostly feels defeated and ugly feeling empowered and confident. She felt beautiful, even though she always has been. For years, I felt excruciating pain on my right side ear and temple. It felt like there was a fire in my ear and that the right side of my brain was going to explode. I went to ENTs, got cat scans, MRI (rule out and brain issues), then I started to think, what if it’s my jaw?! Yes, I diagnosed myself. Then more tests & imaging on my jaw. Nothing. I even tried ($1000 later) Botox to relieve the pain, actually made it worse! Until one day my sister said hey, I heard of a periodontist & they might be able to help. I had no idea what/who that was. I called Dr Renk on April 1 2020 in the very begging of the pandemic & he said we need to see you right away. I thought, oh great, another Dr. I went in really open minded. I knew this was my last resort. Dr Renk LISTENED to everything I had gone through, he took the time to look at all my X-rays and images. He explained exactly what he thought was going on. He showed empathy for me and his expertise in the TMJ world of the unknown. He got me fitted with a hard mouth guard that I can say I have worn religiously for almost 11 months. I can tell you that I am no longer in pain, I am no long crying because I feel like my head is going to explode. I can tell you Dr Renk absolutely knows what he’s doing to help TMJ. I can also tell you, no, it didn’t take a year, probably 4-6 mo b4 I felt no pain/little pain. But like I said, I’m religious westing my mouth guard. Thank you so much Dr Renk. Thank you.
