I had a great experience!

I would like to ask that there be more seating for the big booty folks, but otherwise, I'm very happy with my visit and the care that I was shown.

I have seen many negative comments here about Dr. Kwan after the fact (didn't think to check the comments tbh) but my experience was not the same.

She was kind and professional and I was able to get my prescripts sent to base with ease. I didn't wait long for my appointment, and it went quickly and all of my concerns were addressed. Overall, 10/10 for my first visit. =)

The office itself was very clean but when it came to my provider Jennifer Evan’s, PA-C the visit was approximately 3 minutes long in total and felt like she was just trying to exit the visit the entire time. Talking fast and stayed at the door the entire visit. I time my visit from the time I was called back till I walked out the exam door and total time was 7 minutes total. As I work in healthcare as well as an MA I get offices get extremely busy especially since my original appointment was with a different provider, regular practices such as verifying my current medications before prescribing new ones was not completed or reviewed and had to call my primary to ensure there were no drug interactions with my new oral meds and my current medications I already take. Over all I will not returning to that provider but I will be returning with original provider Bonnie Kwan, MSN FNP to hopefully get an overall better experience.

If I could rate this business a zero, I would. This is the only business you CANNOT speak to anyone at the office. All calls are routed to an overseas scheduling service that cannot assist with anything beyond booking and there is no way to reach reception or a manager directly. My wife brought our five-month-old baby in for an appointment and was made to wait over two hours before being seen by the allergist. Everyone in there was upset. Then they couldn't schedule a follow up for months. Then, just 10 days before the scheduled follow-up months later, we received a text stating the doctor would be out of the office and that we needed to reschedule—again, with the only option being to speak with someone overseas who cannot actually help resolve the issue. Terrible business. Terrible experience. I will continue to leave reviews until I am able to speak with someone directly at the office and get this addressed as our experience continues to be terrible. This place has nothing but 1 stars recently.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience at this office. I waited over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, which was frustrating. especially since I am paying out of pocket without insurance.

While my medical assistant was kind and helpful, my visit with Dr. Bonnie Kwan did not make me feel comfortable. I left feeling like my concerns weren’t fully taken seriously and that there were no real solutions offered for the issues I came in with. It also felt like my questions weren’t welcomed, which made the experience discouraging.

Overall, I left feeling disappointed and like my time and money were not well spent.

Would not recommend her as your provider.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I’ve been very disappointed with the communication and follow-through from this office.

After a recent appointment, I experienced weeks of delays trying to get a prescribed medication approved. I repeatedly contacted the office, pharmacy, and insurance company and consistently received conflicting information about whether the necessary paperwork had actually been submitted.

At one point, I even had to go to the office in person to get clarification. I was told notes would be added to my chart and that someone would follow up regarding alternative options if the approval continued to fail, but when I checked back later, there appeared to be no follow-through.

I understand insurance approvals can be complicated, and I don’t fault the providers for that. My frustration comes from the administrative side: inconsistent communication, lack of accountability, and feeling like I had to manage the entire process myself just to get answers.

The providers may be knowledgeable, but the office coordination and patient communication need significant improvement.

Other than the forever wait time the staff is nice. The new place is clean and fresh. Dr Herman and his team are great. He takes his time with you and answers any questions without seeming bothered as well.

ick a different provider if you can. They are very disorganized and unprofessional. Scheduled my appointment six months ago for a follow up. As I arrive, they told me they no longer take my (VA) insurance. Which is fine except they waited to tell me when I showed up in person. They made sure to send multiple reminders of an appointment but nobody reached out to let me know they would not be able to see me. What a waste of time.

AVOID the HEADACHE!!!!

I’ll start off by saying my daughter has been seen by Dr Herman at Las Vegas Skin and Cancer for approximately 6 years. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and very good at what he does. The nurses are also very good!!
On the flip side, his office staff is HORRENDOUS to say the least!! In my 6 years of dealing with Las Vegas Skin and Cancer, appointments have been cancelled without notification, practice location has changed without notification, billing and insurance documents have been incorrect, which took months to iron out. Getting someone on the phone to help with scheduling or medication refills is nearly impossible! In my opinion, my daughter has suffered many avoidable sinus infections due to lack of communication/care by this practice! I have been hung up on multiple occasion after waiting on hold for more than 15 minutes. I have been left on hold in excess of 30 minutes on multiple occasions. I have been accused of lying about an appointment that was scheduled because staff didn’t see it on their end, even with an appointment card written out by their staff in hand. I have also asked to speak to a supervisor on Jan 27, 2026 because the person I was dealing with was condescending and raising her voice at me. After being placed on hold for over 15 minutes, I was told that the supervisor wasn’t available but I as assured I would receive a call back. I’m still waiting for a call back and it’s been 2 weeks today. Needless to say, I will be transferring to a new practice. I will also be recommending that my husband and his legal assistant, who are both patients of Dr. Herman, transfer their care as well.

Jason Steven’s - quack Dr!
I went in June to see Dr Jason Steven’s and I had Medicaid. I go to another appointment (because he first looked at me for 10 minutes, no biopsy, just cream. And guess what. He was WRONG) they tell me I have a $350 balance. No bills, no phone calls, just a Dr trying to bill a Medicaid patient cash. I spoke with the drs/surgeons on the UNLV medical board. They said he wasn’t one of them…lol he charges Medicaid patients $350 for ten minutes of a wrong diagnoses. Shame, shame, shame!!!!

Oh and it was very obvious the receptionist didn’t know and to be there either.

Waited an hour with an appointment. Then was seen for literally a minute or two and told the prescription that i previously got at this clinic I could not get because my symptoms weren’t active enough. I showed Dr my symptoms from 2 days previous and she said “if it looked like that I’d prescribe.” Now here i am a week later with my skin horribly broken out and no prescription. Had to go to a different clinic to get the prescription i needed.

I was treated by a woman who talked down to me and my daughter. She kept saying the procedure coste $300. well lady we can afford $300 but you wanted to be such a high school girl talking over me like I wasn't there . You were such a horrible condescending human being . I will not be coming back to you for more of your verbal abuse. Her name is Dr. Bonnie . She asks questions then does not let you answer . I had to give you 1 star but believe you me I did not want to.

I would like to express my concerns regarding my recent appointment experience. As an established patient who was seen just three months ago, I was surprised to be required to complete new paperwork again. I am unclear as to why this is necessary when my information should already be on file.

Additionally, my appointment was scheduled for 2:45 PM, yet it took approximately 15 minutes to be placed in an exam room, followed by an additional 45-minute wait before I was seen. Ultimately, I was not seen by a physician but by a physician assistant

My visit today with Bonnie Kwam was a complete waste of time. Pushing me to surgery for a simple procedure is crazy. And what’s even more crazy is the attitude. It’s free to be a kind and caring provider. I would hate to have the type of attitude I experienced today. I highly do NOT recommend seeing this provider. Save your gas your time your energy and your money!

I just want to give a quick shout out to my favorite doctor of all time, Bonnie Kwan. Bonnie is ultra professional, but extremely kind and sweet. Almost a year ago, she cut out a huge Basal cell carcinoma from my back. I went back for a checkup today, and no cancer has returned. I appreciate Dr. Bonnie so much, for always taking such good care if me. To me, she's the best! Thank you, doc Bonnie! ❤️

I went there twice for my son skin problems and the doctor kept prescribing creams that I couldn’t afford. Recently I made another appointment for my son set for 7AM. I asked the scheduler why it’s at 7AM when the office opens at 8AM, she said the doctor will be there. I showed up at 6:32AM the doors were locked. I knocked on the door and the woman inside said they don’t open until 8AM. I left and called back exactly at 8AM to ask another scheduler why I was booked for 7AM. She apologized said that was the available time for the doctor and tried to make me another appointment; which I didn’t want. They need to stop outsourcing their calls so we can get in contact with the office directly. It’s very frustrating and inconvenient. I wish I could get refunded my money for my ride share for a complete waste of time.

Hello,

I don’t remember the doctor’s name, but she appeared to be Asian. I returned to your office after nearly 2 years, and unfortunately, my medical issue is still unresolved. Today was supposed to be my 6-month follow-up, but instead of receiving care, I was dismissed and disrespected.

I tried to explain that I’ve been experiencing a severe, recurring itch on my back. Before I could even finish speaking, the doctor cut me off and said she didn’t see anything. Of course, the itching wasn’t present today it happened two weeks ago. I came to ask for help and guidance, not to be ignored or brushed off.

I arrived at this appointment under extremely difficult circumstances. I brought my children with me, in 110-degree heat, just to be treated with disrespect and indifference. I left feeling deeply hurt, disappointed, and completely unsupported.

This is unacceptable. Patients deserve to be listened to and treated with compassion. You are running a business and being paid, but failing to provide the care people come for. I expect this issue to be taken seriously. I am requesting to be seen by a different provider moving forward—someone who will actually listen and treat me with the respect every patient deserves.

Dr Frederick Herman, MD is amazing. However he should fire his office staff and hire people that actually want to work. He prescribe me a prescription that needed a prior authorization and it’s been 3 month and nothing I called several times. Pharmacy called and fax several times nothing. Left many messages talk to office manager and nothing. I asked for the nurse nothing asked if I can walk in they said no. I asked to be stand by so he can change my medicine they told me I can’t. I asked for an appointment so I can talk to him and they said I had to wait 3 months! Peek allergy season and these people don’t care I feel bad for Frederick Herman, MD.

Not a horrible experience but a waste of my time with Bonnie Kwan. This was my first appointment with a dermatologist in 15 years. First, you’re only allowed to bring up 3 issues (only had 2). I went in for hair loss and cysts near my chest. I explained my family history, she parted my hair twice, spent a few seconds feeling out my cysts, and with that I was diagnosed. No testing, no further investigating my issues, just straight to prescriptions. The appointment lasted 10-15 minutes with no follow-up. Although this may not seem like a huge issue it is the reason why I strongly dislike having to go see a doctor. Some don’t see you like a person just another patient they need to get through.

Since then I have visited another dermatologist for a second opinion and it was a complete 180! I am having a few tests done to further investigate my cysts and we are going to look more into my hair loss and not just blame it on my family history. Please do better Bonnie Kwan!

Jennifer Zhu, PA-C, is the most unprofessional and cold-hearted medical provider I have ever encountered. I came in for a simple two-minute injection, something any competent professional could handle quickly. Instead, Jennifer Zhu deliberately made me wait nearly four hours. This was not a scheduling conflict; it was an act of disregard for my time, my pain, and my humanity.

When she finally decided to see me, Jennifer Zhu jabbed the needle into my skin with such unnecessary force that it felt cruel. It was painful, careless, and completely avoidable. This is not just bad bedside manner; it is a clear sign of someone who should not be trusted to treat patients.

When I told her I was a survivor, someone who has endured unimaginable pain and hardship, Jennifer Zhu coldly replied, “Everyone is a survivor here.” That dismissive remark revealed how little she values her patients as human beings.

She then tried to push biologics I never asked for, while belittling my condition and implying I was not “severe” enough to deserve her attention. She even suggested moving me to another provider, as if my care and well-being meant nothing to her.

Jennifer Zhu needs to seriously reflect on why she is in medicine. A provider who treats patients with such arrogance and lack of compassion should not be trusted with anyone’s health or dignity. No patient should leave an appointment feeling humiliated, dismissed, and harmed the way I did.

Well i'm going to have to report this because in case any others go through this. First I want to mention that the service is not great. The waiting times are extremely long even if you are on time for your appointment. Also more importantly, they have billing issues. I had to pay privately for a treatment and I accepted that, but they also billed my insurance company. They received double payment. I have to report this as fraud to the insurance company. I will give you an opportunity to make this better. I caught this mistake when i recieved a billing statement from the insurance company. You are not allowed to do that.
Please contact me ASAP to correct this matter otherwise I will escalate further.

Dr. Herman is wonderful and the staff are great! The only problem is with West Dermatology taking over, things are much more corporate and it's more about making money. Their mark up OVER what your insurance pays on services, visits, etc... , is ridiculous! Their bill collection is aggressive and began before I even completed my treatments or received all the EOB's from my insurance! To my surprise, they took the money from in network insurance payments, and then charged me about what the insurance paid. So they have like a 100% markup. I quit my last sessions and won't even get to see Dr. Herman again because it's just too much money. I had to come back every week for injections and they were charging me for each visit. It should be a law that clinics have to disclose charges above what their insurance will pay BEFORE providing the service. At least let me be able to make an informed decision before starting a treatment. For example, if an allergy treatment costs a $1000, and my insurance only discounts that by $400, I would like to know my patient responsibility is $600 BEFORE I agree and begin the treatment. Then you would think that would be inclusive, but they separately are billing you for office visits, injections, tests, and "Dermatology Products"!? Next thing you know, I have bill collectors hounding me for amounts I had no clue about, or even had time to research after receiving the EOB's. I wish healthcare was more about CARE these days, than profits. It shouldnt be in the same category as other for profit businesses. It pollutes the nature of healthcare.

I arrived to my appointment and was pleasantly greeted by skilled staff. My wait for the doctor was record time short. The doctor’s assistant was very personable and kind as she prepared my information for the doctor.

The doctor entered my room after a very short wait. She took the time to explain my symptoms. While doing so, she actually looked at me! Eye contact is very important to me. I could hear her and understand her professional skills and recommendations. This doctor has earned my guarded trust.

Dr. Herman is an awesome doctor. The office itself, management and scheduling is an absolute nightmare.

Canceled and delayed appointments multiple times (after driving 30mins each way).

Scheduled for 30, 60+ days out with a problem that can't be diagnosed correctly.

Attitudes from phone intake employees.

Waited 30 days for test results, not even a call with results or reasoning.

Literally please go anywhere else.

I’ve been a patient at Doctor' Herman's office for some time, and I appreciate the care I’ve received from the doctors and medical staff. The office is generally well-run, and the medical team seems knowledgeable and attentive.

However, during a recent visit, I had a brief conversation with a staff member that left me a little concerned. We discussed a topic related to health and science, and I was surprised by the response, which didn’t seem to align with what I’ve come to expect from a healthcare environment. While it may have been a personal opinion, I believe it’s important for staff in medical settings to promote trust in science and evidence-based practices, especially when patients rely on accurate information for their care.

I hope the office continues to provide excellent care, and I would encourage a focus on ensuring all staff reflect the same commitment to scientific accuracy and professionalism that the medical team does.

It wouldn’t be bad if they didn’t run an hour behind. Then when I request to switch offices-it’s denied. And now I go pick up the prescription and it’s incorrect.

Hi, I would recommend this place to anyone. From the beginning I received a text for new patient registration that was easy to understand and fill out, so I was ready to walk in and see the Dr. And that’s what happened. I walked in and signed up. They called me right away, the 1st tech, very nice, quickly reaffirmed my information. The Dr. Came in right away also. He was very nice and he Listened to me, observed, answered a few questions, then wrote out a couple prescriptions. I walked out and the staff made my next appointment. They all were nice, efficient, and quick, no waiting! A first for me.

I have been a patient at this facility for a year, consistently arriving 15 minutes early for each appointment. Despite this, I am invariably called 20-45 minutes past my scheduled time. While patients are expected to be punctual or risk having their appointments canceled, our time does not appear to be valued.

Additionally, the female employees exhibit a demeaning, condescending, snappy and unprofessional attitude. They frequently claim ignorance about matters directly related to their responsibilities and are particularly rude to elderly patients. While openly joking how they forgot about patients, leaving them to wait longer. Despite addressing these concerns previously, no accountability has been taken, and the same issues persist with the same staff. Least to say, I do not plan of continuing my care at Rancho Dr. location.

My appointment was at 2:15pm and it was a full lobby, took about an hour to get seen by a doctor. Both the Medical Assistant and the Doctor's bedside manner were lacking. There didn't seem to be a care for my concerns when speaking to them and it was very cut and dry like they were trying to hurry up and get me out of the room instead of listening to what i have to say and adressing my concerns. I get they have to go through the same things over and over but I dont do this everyday unlike them. The least I could expect is more compassion for concern. The doctor at least prescribed me something that will hopefully help my skin issue. They didn't give me any other helpful paperwork towards my conditions either and it was like "Okay I better commit this medical advice to memory" otherwise its like i didn't even visit.

Dr Herman is a fantastic doctor. He knows what he is doing. I do not have a problem with his staff. Only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because trying to get a hold of scheduling is a nightmare. They do not have a good system, very horrible. I've been trying to get a hold of his staff to ask questions and schedule an appointment for 3 days straight now. Nobody ever picks up. I appreciate the amount of concern from the nurse. The Nurse Practitioner that treated me is also nice and informed me about my condition so that I can understand what is happening. Next, I checked in online more than an hour before my appt time. Yet, here I sit, 30 mins past my scheduled appt time and the lobby I packed.

40 mins now ... A patient next to me has been here for an hour and has not been seen.

The lobby is packed with people and has been since I got here. No way that this wait is by accident. They only want your insurance money. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!

My appt lasted 8 minutes. I wonder how much they are going to Bill my insurance company?

Very awful experience the entire way around. For starters, the scheduling department and the offices are not on the same page so youll get screwed, they had me all over the place.
Fast forward to finally making it to an appointment booked out months in advanced, show up and had to wait 3hrs total to be seen after my appointment time.
Finally speaking to someone and they say they cannot do anything for me because they don't work in the office (warm springs) and would be pointless unless I came to see them at home office (rancho). At this point I'm not letting my time be wasted so I agree to follow to another location.

Finally get to my procedure appointment and finally get it done. I start bleeding profusely, and then they proceed to ask me if I'm on blood thinners. Mind you, no pre-op instructions were given to me. But apparently my habit of pre workout and caffeine didn't do me any favors at this point, had I known I would've laid off that week. Good thing I had a rest period or I'm sure the bleeding would've been a lot worse. To this point they had to literally fry my arm to get it to stop bleeding. The burnt skin smell was terrible.
The stitch job was HORRENDOUS. The worst stitches ever done, and they were too tight. My skin hated the healing on them, and they didn't heal right. Because the stitching was so janky and sloppy there was still bleeding in some spots and left room for potential infection. Fast forward to removal, an assistant had to remove them and not the NP, and cut me open doing so. Bleeding from fresh stitching should've been a red flag. Nope, put a bandaid on me and sent me off.
Fast forward a few weeks and the internal stitches were being rejected from my skin. Turns out they didn't use desovable stitching for the internal stitches and my body was rejecting it. And when I called they said they couldn't get me in to see someone for 2 weeks. Well before that day came the stitches already rejected and came out of my arm, leaving scarring from hell and pain like no other.
Fast forward a few months they also sent me a surprise bill in the mail and their billing department gave me a run around saying my insurance gave me additional copay, with that sounding fishy I called my insurance. Well my insurance says otherwise, so I'm letting them handle it between them. So over it.

Needless to say, if I could go back in time, I would've never seen anyone at this disgraceful place. And I would've left the lesion on my arm to begin with.

Whatever you do. Don't let BONNIE KWAN give you stitches, you'll thank me later.

The staff was great! Dr. Herman was worth waiting two months for. I had gone to another specialist and he had told me that my condition could last up to three years. I was not going to take that answer. I was recommended to Dr. Herman, and I am so thankful to have found him! He’s a great listener and is willing to do whatever it takes to solve the problem and not just fill you up on medications. I look forward to continuing my care at this office!

They are spamming me to leave a “review”, so here I go: 0 stars. If I could even get in to see a physician for a screening maybe it would earn 1. Quoted one price over the phone and upped it by almost 100 in person. Self-pay and they couldn’t even figure out how to take my money. The waiting room packed, so obviously they are double/triple booking patients. Severely disappointing. 👎🏽👎🏽

My last two visits have been horrible experiences. First in 03/15/22, arrived 15 min early for check-in, 25 min later asked if I had been skipped because I noticed and overheard, approximately 6 folks arriving after me went back to the patient rooms, to see the same doctor I see. As I was about to approach the desk again, 20 more minutes later, the male attendant saw me stand up and he literally jump out of his chair with a ghostly look on his face and grabbed my file. When I asked what was happening he said they were getting the room ready. Waited 10 more minutes and told them I needed to reschedule since I’m now late for work.

They sent me to the scheduler who said the next available for the Rancho location was Monday, 03/21/22, so I took it. When I arrived for check-in I was told my doctor doesn’t work that location on Monday’s; as indicated on the email confirmation.

I’ve been going to the Rancho location for about a year and never had a problem, was always seen on time. I did take note of the new staff at check-in, hopefully they get it together. My time is as valuable to me as I’m sure theirs is. Unfortunately, across the board the standard of service gets poorer each year.

Hoping to see an improvement at my next appointment.

Do not go here! They are not upfront about the prices. I went in as a cash patient and the lady at the front was not willing to tell me what my price would be for a simple consultation as a new patient. She claim she wouldn’t be able to give me a price till she got the code from the dermatologist (after the consultation). I paid $164.07 that day but a little after two weeks, I got a bill in the mail saying I needed to pay an additional $51.33 for an adjustment fee. Nothing about an additional fee was explained to me that day. Also, I got a reaction to one of the medication prescribed by the dermatologist and I called the facility to see if I can get in contact with her. the medical assistant claimed she would let her know but no one ever reached out to me. Horrible establishment! If you’re a cash patient please go else where, they will hit you with a surprise bill. Service here is mediocre!

This location is absolutely horrible!!! I scheduled a skin appointment two weeks ago. They waited until two days before the appointment. To tell me that the provider was going out of town and was unavailable. I asked the lady on the phone if there was another provider available for the same day and same time. I had to request the day off in advance at my job. She said yes there's a lady named Erica for 2:55 PM. I get here on time. They take my card and make copies. Told me it would take a few minutes. After 35 minutes, they pulled me to the back to tell me that Erica is in doing a procedure and they don't know how long it is going to take. I walked out. Never again will I ever return to this stupid clinic!!!!!

When I had my appointment it felt as though my doctor was not listening to me. She insisted on a treatment that I have already tried and the side effects of the treatment were not harmful than just managing my condition. I also feel as though my appointment was a drive by. The doctor did not explain thing thoroughly enough for me. And when I had more questions she refused to comeback into my room. Have concerns? Want to get some "work done"? This is your place!

I had a concern, called for an appointment thinking it may be months out, and it was early the following week. Completed the new patient info and even paid my co-pay online before the visit. When I arrived, the wait time was less than 5 minutes, the entire exam and checkout took about 10 minutes, but I didnt feel rushed through. The doctor answered all of my questions and took time to explain everything to me.

Mixed feelings about this place. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Pro: was able to get a next day appointment. Had a couple moles that have been evolving, making me very anxious, so it was a relief to be seen quickly. Office staff was nice.

Cons: I’m a new patient, and told the practitioner I haven’t had a full body exam for a few years. She said we should have an exam annually, but then she didn’t offer to give me an exam while I was there, and said I should get an exam when I come back after a year. What the heck, that makes no sense! It was like she just didn’t want to do it. She just looked at my two little moles in one small area for 30 seconds, said it was not a concern, and dismissed me.

For that, they charged $175, and I didn’t even get an exam or to see a full MD. Im between insurance and paid cash out of pocket. Most providers offer some discount for cash patients but apparently not here. Feels Like a ripoff. I brought this up with the office staff who checked me out but he didn’t do anything for me. He offered to send me back in to same practitioner for the full body exam but I was totally uncomfortable with the idea of getting naked in front of this woman who obviously didn’t want to give me the exam she should have done in the first place (without me Having to fuss about it). It’s an awkward experience as it is, even more so if the examiner is being weird.

Office was super busy, not enough chairs for everyone with some people standing in the corner, and I had to wait a long time.

Wonderful experience, from walking in the front door! The receptionist was polite, answered friendly. We had already filled out our paperwork prior to the appointment online, so all we had to do is sign in that we were there. We were called within 5-10 minutes, spoke with a young lady about any known allergies, what pharmacy we use, and why we were there to have my son, a 15 year old get checked out. He was concerned about a couple of moles, and wanted to get it checked out. Soon after that the PA. came in, she was a warm and friendly woman, who took a look at the moles in concern, and her own checking above and beyond that. She said that all is well, nothing to be concerned about. Apply 50 - 70 spf. Which we do, and important to reapply every 40 minutes, especially after, swimming or sweating, and exercising. So a huge sigh of relief, and to know what all is well. Continue with my practice of applying sunscreen, and limited exposure to the sun when possible. Can't say enough good things about our experience at this location. We have a appointment in a year from now. But we were told to call anytime we see something of interest. Better to catch it earlier than later. Great business, highly-qualified and great staff. A pleasure for a doctor's appointment. Highly recommend this place for all your skin's
needs!

Two stars because Dr Herman seems nice and at least was friendly. Appointment was rushed. Office is not at all wheelchair or stretcher friendly. Maneuvering through the hallway in a wheelchair is intense and the doors to the bathrooms are similarly difficult to maneuver in a wheelchair. The checkout desk is so tall that you could basically only use it if you’re standing. No masking by providers but many masks seen from patients which was ironic. No available teleahealth services due to ‘policy’ which makes appointments particularly inaccessible for immune compromised and/or bedbound folks. Nurses in the back seemed a little friendly, appt probably only lasted about ten minutes which was unfortunate.

He has seen many different types of people in his practice and I can tell that he doesn’t judge a book by it’s cover. It’s very clear to me that he cares for what he does and cares for his patients. I unfortunately have had a very bad experience. I took my daughter in for some acne she kept getting on her scalp. I saw NP Bonnie Kwan. First visit she prescribed my daughter two different types of topicals and then a shampoo. I called about a 5 days later and let them know it was getting worse and I discontinued the topical creams. They got us in for a visit the following day. We go in for the visit and they prescribed her a ringworm medication that would be highly effective on her liver, and we would have to follow up with labs. They did a couple of swabs to send out for culture, and I suggested we wait for results before starting medication, she wasn’t to fond of the idea, and told me she would call me with results. I never received a call from the office, and I thought okay maybe it was nothing, it seems like the shampoo is drying up the acne I’ll continue the shampoo. About a week later the acne worsens and I call the office and they tell me they see no results. That they would forward a message to the staff and get back to me. They call me back later that day and tell me she has Staph and as I am trying to ask questions the MA LaJoy continues to cut me off and tells me I need to make an appt if I have more medical questions! She then places me on hold and puts me on the phone with the provider, which she continues to cut me off as well. I obtained access to my daughters medical records and results were ready as of July 6, and I only didn’t find out about results until July 22 and that’s only because I called them. And the medical assistant LaJoy, needs a new job, because she looks like she absolutely hates her job and hates people. If you don’t care about people do not go into healthcare. Our healthcare is crap because we have people working in it that don’t care about other people.

She was acting as if I was wasting her time. Looked at my rash for 2 seconds and prescribed me something. Didn’t ask if I was allergic to anything! How long I’ve had it! What have I tried! Now y’all know us parents already have medications at home we’ve tried before going to the dermatologist or doctor. Dr. Herman is wonderful and he cares for his patients. He is Professional and friendly. But the office staff needs to be good training. I originally made an appointment at 9:30 in the morning on July 6 to get an allergy injection. When I arrived at the clinic, the nurse told me that I had to make an appointment again. I asked the nurse why? The nurse told me that because the dose and composition of the injection given by the doctor were not displayed in the computer system, so the nurse couldn’t help me with the allergy injection. I feel very angry. I have confirmed the appointment for injection three days before the appointment. Why is this happening? I think some people should do her essential work well, be responsible for her work, and not waste the patient's time.

Nice office and staff. But Why is it denied when you request a simple biopsy or lab testing for reassurance and answers for your well being/health?
Things like that should never be questioned when a patient asks for it.
They shouldn’t have to jump through loops and walk through fire pits to get what they are requesting after going to a clinic for their medical needs or concerns.
Does a couple stacks have to be pulled out of your pocket and offered to bribe for someone to help you in the medical field?

The receptionist was fine, it was when the nurse called me . Was there to have my back checked for irregular moles as I was experiencing pain. Not sure 🤔 why she did not have me take my shirt and bra off and give me a cover, and put me on the patient table ? . Had me sit in the chair, the wall was to my left and the table was to my right , How good of a exam is that? The doctor could not walk around me, Craziest thing 😜 I felt like I was in a three ring circus so uncomfortable 🥴 I am not sure why they even have the patient table in the room ? The nurse ask me if I saw anything on my back? Well I was thinking that is why I made the appointment in the first place so a professional could look, I don’t know what I am looking for? The doctor suggested there was nothing there that could be causing the pain I was
experiencing. Come back in a year .I think It was just the cloths and chair thing, the nurse should of had me disrobe in the first place and had me sit up on the the patient table . Maybe they don’t do that anymore ? The doctor would have have been able to check both sides and give me a good checkup had I been higher up, the chair was low, she had to bend over me while I am trying my best to get my shirt and bra off, while she proceeded with the exam, kind of funny 😄 just in a big hurry😏

After several months of being ignored and passed off to new manager multiple times, I was told I’m at fault because they’re employee did not keep records. Shady business practice.

The staff is Attentive and kind. The doctor was very nice. But if I am to be honest. I left the office feeling like after waiting to see the doc for a bit I was rushed out. I get you have a lot of appointments but I got a lot of "I think this maybe this" responses. And it seemed like she was a bit scared to help with what is a pimple on my eyelid. I told her about this large bump on my arm under the skin. I told her I have a few like that on my back and other arm. She asked if it hurts. I replied only if you push down on it. Then she just moved on to another question. Again, very lovely but felt like it was a missed opportunity to help someone put concerns at ease.

Long wait. Looks like they took too many reservations. I've had liquid nitrogen treatments for precancerous spots on my face many, many times. I know what it looks and feels like. This time, there was no blistering, not even redness. I don't think their canister had any product. All I know is, I'll certainly have to have it done over again. Frustrating. Great crew, however, with upbeat attitudes and smiles.

Dr Hall is a great doctor. He is very good at what he does, is personable and I’m not sure he would get upset about much, just remains calm. This made us very trusting and calm. Let me start by saying, the staff has always been wonderful, especially Dr. Herman. The results from my allergy shots have been life changing. Well, on Monday I arrived to my 1:50pm right on time, 45 minutes later they finally call my name. I'm not exaggerating, it took less than 1 minute to get my allergy shots. It was frustrating to wait 45 minutes for a 1 minute appointment. Hopefully this was an isolated incident.

Complete waste of time. It shouldn’t take 3 appointments to remove a large blackhead from the middle of my back. 1st appointment, I thought the Doctor was removing this bump on my spine. It was a just a consultation. However, a wart was dry frozen. Told me to put warm press on my back daily and come back in 30 days. What 30 days? Came back about a month later to only be told to come back for surgery. Which are only done on Thursdays and Fridays and the first available was 3 weeks out. In the meantime, every time lean back I can feel this bump press into my spine. She is definitely milking the insurance companies! Do not recommend!

I got the 30 to 20 minutes before my appointment like I was told to. They took almost 30 after my appointment time to actually get me in the room for the doctor to see me, I told the nurse the reasons for my visit, and they said the doctor would go over everything once they were in the room. They never gave me a gown to change into, the doctor came, asked to take off my clothes right there and then to check the the parts of my skin I had concerns of. As I was naming things that I wanted them to look at, they stopped me and said I would have to come for another appointment to mention those things even though they were the reasons I came in for, same issue with my skin, just in a different part of my body, very weird to have to come back and mention the same thing I came in for in the first place. The doctor also said they didn't believe that my issue started in October and that it looked older than it was, and I mention that that was the reason I came in since it was a rapid growth, still said they didn't believe me. I felt not heard and rushed. Definitely not coming back, and I was paying out of pocket, I want even going to use my insurance. I don't recommend this place.

Are the reviews fake on here for this place? The waiting room was jam packed with people. The volume of patients going in and out every 10 minutes means fast low quality care. I wouldn’t recommend going to this location to see this PA unless it’s something easy to treat. The PA Last name Coulilaby I saw was simply unprofessional and just not that good. Her response when I said I had cystic acne was I don’t see any now. What an idiotic thing to say if you know anything about that. I basically had to explain that I had just gotten it under control but it’s still an issue. I politely asked about an herb that I use on my skin from near her place of origin she got nasty and rude. She made comments like I’m sure your insurance won’t pay for that or pay for this either. I sat there speechless at how rude and unprofessional she is. Fast forward 4 months later I went elsewhere got retin-a generic which is in fact covered by my insurance for cystic acne.Did they just hire a bunch of new grad PA’s from other countries to come work who have zero experience.? Cystic acne comes and goes that doesn’t mean it’s not an issue. I would never see this person for anything serious when they can hardly treat basic things.

I was referred to this place by Desert Valley Pediatrics. To date, the last few months have been nothing short of hell for my 2 year old. We have gone through 3 different doctors. Each time, they want to see her all over again. Each time they won't prescribe the medicine we ask for. They claim insurance will not cover it, but we want to pay cash for it for our baby. I am appalled with Bonnie the manager. She does not take calls. She has her staff take her calls and leave messages for her. I am going to keep calling until I get my daughter the help she needs.

This place is the worst place I have ever been to in my life. I am a 62 year old man who does not need to be treated the way I was treated in this God awful clinic. The person who came into the room to talk to me was a nurse practitioner who was Rude, Disrespectful and raised her voice at me to make matters worse. She was talking down to me and when she raised her voice at me caused me to leave this sorry place. First of alli am going to bet I am at least 30 years older than she was and second no wanna be Doctor is to ever talk down to a person. She should be thrown out of that office and let me just make this crystal clear if I was a person like I was not even a few years back and she spoke to me in that manner I would have torn the room up and on my way out torn up up the office with it. Whoever told her she could degrade me and then cause her voice at me told her a lie because that was as unprofessional as others. I will never go back there ever. In fact I am contemplating on if I should file with the board about her treatment of me. It was a disgusting and terrible experience I had there. You should all be ashamed of yourselves at that clinic. I will call Medicaid and ask them to deny them payment because her treatment and disrespect that was a crying shame I did not get any help at all I left disgusted. I do not recommend this clinic for dogs much less humans. Great job LVSC.. I AM Going TO REPORT THAT NURSE SHE SHOULD FIRED. What a miserable experience. Dale LAWRENCE

I have seen so many physicians over the years for my allergies and chronic migraines.
Dr. Frederick Herman is the ONLY doctor who actually cared to listen. He is personable, knowledgeable,
a great listener and has a great sense of humor.
My son urged me to find an allergist, not any of my doctors! That says a lot about being a good listener.
Dr. Frederick Herman tested me for everything. I discovered that I am allergic to many foods, as well the “great outdoors.” Dr. Herman explained everything about my extremely high score on my allergy test.
I am now receiving 3 allergy shots every week and I am feeling much better. Since I am allergic to grass, trees and bushes, I must wear a mask outside.
I have adjusted to my medical condition. Due to Dr. Herman’s diligence, my migraines have become more manageable. I will always be grateful to my son for insisting that I contact an allergist and to Dr. Herman
for discovering what was causing my chronic migraines. Thank you so much, Dr. Frederick Herman
for giving me the necessary information and tools to live my life.

Dr Hall is great; he is very thorough and takes whatever time is necessary with each patient. However, I believe whomever sets all of his appointments up overbooks him horribly and it is impossible for the Dr to stay on time or even close.

I do NOT like the outside company that sends automated text and voice mail messages. They send the confirmation request repeatedly, usually more than 5 times for each appointment; they also request the patient to repeatedly complete automated sign-in via Preesia. There is NO reason to do this more than once for each appointment; it is a huge waste of time for everyone concerned. I will not complete nor confirm an appointment more than once. Also, Preesia is very non-user friendly.

I put up with Preesia and the horrible check-in system because I really like the doctor.

Dr. Hermen is an exceptionally talented doctor who truly cares about his patients' well-being. From the moment I first met him, he put me at ease and took the time to listen carefully to all of my concerns. His kind and compassionate demeanor made me feel comfortable, and his deep knowledge and experience in the field gave me peace of mind that I was in good hands.

Throughout my treatment, Dr. Hermen always went above and beyond to ensure that I was receiving the best possible care. He was always available to answer my questions, and he took the time to explain things in a way that was easy for me to understand. His attention to detail and dedication to excellence are truly remarkable, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had him as my doctor.

In addition to his outstanding medical skills, Dr. Hermen is also a wonderful human being. He is warm, friendly, and genuinely cares about his patients on a personal level. His positive attitude and comforting presence make a real difference in the lives of those he treats.

I went in for a TBSE and was asked by an assistant if their were any issues on my legs? How would I know, that's why I'm here. The assistant then proceeded to tell me and I quote "We'll look at your arms and spot check some of your upper body." From everything I've read a TBSE (total body skin exam) includes the toes, feet, legs, butt, stomach, chest, arms, shoulders, back, ears, and scalp. I've asked to be contacted but still have not heard back. Next i will be contacting the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners to file a complaint on the ineptitude of this clinic. Waste of time and money, came in to get a freeze burn checked out and a care plan for my atopic dermatitis. I made it in time for my appt. And 3-4 people signed in after me. I was the last one in the waiting room before I finally brought it to the receptionist attention and lo-and behold I was the next one called. The nurse was kind but made no real interaction with me. I mainly felt as if they were only recording information and not dealing with a human. The "doctor" had alot of information but did nothing else but inspect the burn healing. I had to ask alot of questions and ask to be prescribed my medicine and also ask for an allergy test to see if there may be something causing me to flare up. It's almost as if she had no direction to advise me on and if I didn't take initiative I would have spent 85 dollars to have a conversation about atopic dermatitis with her. Disappointed overall. They also forgot I was in the exam room until I came out and asked if there was any reason I needed to be in there. The nurse was surprised that I was there and then apologized for leaving me there.

So disappointed with the staff and their lack of professionalism. I found this place and, based on previous reviews, thought we were in good hands. Unfortunately, we seem to have gotten someone from the billing department (Denelle) that treated us like we were ignorant because we didn’t understand the bill that was sent. We got a bill and followed up to see if they had billed our second insurance like they said they would. She wasn't able to tell me if they had or hadn't. When I repeated my question to get clarification, I asked, “sorry, I don't think I understood your answer. Can you confirm you billed our second Insurance?” She responded, yeah, it doesn’t seem like you get it! With an attitude. She then said, “there is nothing confusing about what I’m saying! You just don’t seem to understand!”
I explained that I just wanted to get a clear bill of what I owed. She then told me a different amount from what they sent. When I questioned why she said a different amount from what the bill I had in front of me said, she responded, why don’t you call your Insurance and ask them? I was just shocked they have someone like that working for them.
Sadly I will be looking for a new dermatologist. :(

I felt pretty uncomfortable at my appointment Monday March 15 at 11:05am. I was the only person called to the desk to pay their copayment before being seen. The physician's assistant was super rude and insensitive when inquiring about my symptoms and overall made me feel super uncomfortable after the doctor was there and I was half undressed and someone knocked at the door. The physician's assistant opened the door a crack while my shirt and pants were off which made me REALLY uncomfortable. I mentioned it before I left to the doctor, and she apologized and said she would talk to the PA. I normally don't have an issue with doctor's visits but I left feeling super violated and uneasy to return.

Update: West Dermatology, please provide a way to contact you directly, because I don't have a way to contact you by direct message.

Update: I reached out to the office manager after my Yelp review was seen and after being left on hold for over 20 minutes, the “office manager” gave me a lukewarm apology with no resolution. I let the doctor know, Did a Yelp review and called THEM. I have another appointment this coming Monday, and m not looking forward to, but I specifically came to see the doctor I requested so I’m reluctantly going to keep my appointment.

He did a very poor job explaining anything and I felt he was in a hurry to get through my appointment as quickly as he could and move to the next patient.

Once again I drove halfway across town for a dermatology appointment only to be told that my provider was not there that day but they could get me in to see her at their office on WEST WARM SPRINGS later today (another 35 minute drive).
Mind you, I scheduled this appointment in JANUARY. The man who "helped" me today said they CALLED me on July 10th to let me know about the schedule change and basically dismissed my irritation as being unreasonable. That is their "protocol". They text to confirm appointments but CALL for schedule changes.
So, I checked my call log for July 10th and guess what? THEY DID NOT CALL ME on that day. I showed the guy my THREE calls that day and asked which one was from them and I got stoneface and "we use lots of numbers so I can't confirm which one was from us". Guess what? Good physicians, office/phone setup not very good. I know in 2018 that insurance is a nightmare to deal with, I get that. The problem, from a patient perspective, is that everyone is so "busy" in the office that nobody is able to answer the phone when it comes to communicating with patients about prescription issues, for example. The current strategy is "leave a message and we'll get back within 2 days." That makes for a pretty inefficient communication model back and forth with the patient, even in cases where a prescription can be help up pending the answer to one or more questions. Related, I've had several cases where I miss the call, call right back within 10 seconds and it again goes to voicemail. This means that either you're not giving a good number for patients to call you back or you just make a point to never answer incoming calls.

So, my biggest pet peeve or request for improvement is to rethink all your phone numbers and voice-tree / voicemail setup to be more efficient. Improving patient-office communication can go a long way in improving customer satisfaction and quality of care.

If you have any other appointments at the VA on the same day and similar time; go to your VA appointments first and when you are finished go to this clinic. Not doing so it will cause you to miss your VA app. and as you are aware it takes much longer to reschedule an app with the VA. There is always a 45min wait at this clinic and well today I waited an hour and a half, thus missing an app with the VA healthcare. I'm outpatient here and it's an absolute waste of time; you wait an hour for a two second shot that can be easily done at home. On a good note, their medical assistants are very nice and sweet.

At my appointment I started not feeling well, the staff was so attentive, they called for the paramedics to check me, I didn't go to the hospital but they walked me out to make sure I had a way home and I got in the car ok. I thank you so much Rancho LVSCS!

Very impressed! Dr. Hall gave me the most thorough skin exam I have ever had in this city. I am so glad that I made the decision to try this clinic. The staff was just wonderful, especially Taylor.

The staff are all nice and freindly. Sometimes there's a long wait but then they are busy as always. Dr. Herman is super nice, he listen to my concern and I been given a good treatment by Dr. Herman or this clinic. I highly recommend him as allergy Doctor.

Purpose of my visit was to see about a lingering rash. It was on my chest but headed towards my face. I was offered a doctor or physician’s assistant for my visit. I chose the latter.
Check in was easy because I did it on line. Both the nurse and the P.A. asked me all the same questions that I answered in the on line pre appointment forms. No problem there as that possibly wards off potential problems for some patients. At first it seemed like nothing was going to happen from the appointment. Discussion was about possible change of lotion or soap. Then all of a sudden, a prescription got submitted for a steroid cream coupled with an OTC cream that has cleared the rash in just a few days. Successful appointment. Follow up in two weeks.

Nothing was resolved when I submitted my review. No action was taken other than just "I'm sorry for your experience " . The same issue still exists. I'm not sure what it will take to get attention on this matter.

I was overcharged by $450.00 . The doctor said I received a certain level of treatment when I know I didn't . Tried to dispute , but nobody paid attention , just kept sending the same bill. I'll have to pay the bill to avoid going into collection , even though I was ripped off.
Previous experience was good , but would not go back after this.

The doctors and staff are incredible with their professionalism, care for their patients, always treated with extreme respect. Absolute respect to dr. Hall who during a routine visit actually found a basal cell carcinoma on my head execised it and I am healed completely. I will recommend this clinic and their other clinics to everyone I know. I have been going to this clinic for over 20 years.

I called asked if they had my pre-auth to go there, girl said, no this is how it works, you come here & we give you the pre- auth. I arrived, that was not the case, I had been on phone with my Dr that was supposed to be sending it that morning, they said they sent 3 fax, LVSC said they didn't receive. Dr. Herman saw me anyway while that was being sorted. He was nice, I liked him, decided to put me on a small dose steriod once in morning, before he walked out he said, OK we got a lot to do today. I waited thinking he would come back to do what all needed to be done (allergy test etc. ) Dr. Didn't come back. A guy came in and said OK that's it. So I gather my things thinking OK weird. Checked out. 6 days later my script still hasn't been called in. Every time I try to reach office (Rancho) there a crazy worst pre messaging, dial a million numbers to get put on hold, never answered, it would ring like finally someone was about to pick up, then went back to the music with recording, over & over.. So 6 days later I finally speak to human at office, and now I'm waiting for my script to be called in. My condition has gotten much worse too.

Doctor is competent and kind. Won't tell me what's wrong in ONE appointment with 10 random things,

each of them taking 15 seconds to 1 minute.

Making me come back stretched out over multiple appointments and 3 months so far.

Time consuming, expensive, risky if I actually have a cancerous mole or something

I understand why Medical field is criticized for inefficiency and high costs.

Dr Hall is the Best, Once I made it to the operatory! The nurse did all the preliminary questions etc., and Dr. Hall came in and started working on me within 5 minutes!
The problem was getting to the operatory! I stood in line for 25 minutes just to sign in for my appointment. Then 15-20 minutes standing around (the waiting room was over full) to get called to the desk to make the co pay. Then, finally a chair was open, and I sat for another 20 minutes before being called back to the operatory!!! I don’t what the deal was: somebody didn’t show up to work, double booked (maybe triple or quadruple booked), or blame it on the Covid. Milling around for an hour waiting for an appointment is about 45 minutes too long - dontcha think?

This was the first time I have ever been to see a dermatologist. I had an unusual mark, on me, and got worried that it was cancerous. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bonnie Kwon and her medical assistant. This was an incredible experience, oddly, almost fun. I received a ton of useful information and education, about what to look for, in the future. They both made me feel so comfortable, it was like talking to two of my girlfriends. Fortunately, the mark was nothing to worry about. If I could give them more stars, I would. I truly had a "5 Star" experience. Thank you, ladies!

Computers “down” and asked to leave after being told nobody would be seen the entire day. That I can deal with; the appointment was rescheduled after my daughter and I waited two hours. What bothered me was that the administrative staff kept giggling at the woe-begotten patients for more than a half hour. That was a new low in healthcare. For the love of humanity, hire new help.

Dr Bonnie Kwan is a very unique with an extraordinary care toward her patient! She’s very sharp, clever & under the care of her clients more than any other Dr that I have been with. I have been through 3 different doctors offices that they can’t cure me until the day that I had been seeing by Dr Kwan: only 2 visits, my symptoms gradually decreased, disappearing….She will be a very successful, prosperous Dr when she opened her own practices!!!!

Give them a try! Have to say the bad marks made me hesitant about going here, but the wait was minimal and the nurse ERICA was so sweet and friendly it made up for the not-so-great thing which I feel was the computer pad they give you, after taking all your info first, which you have to sit and go through about 25 pages and answer questions and enter the same plus more info. It was so long that I didn't finish it until after Dr. Nick Benites finished his exam. This doctor was on it with everything, efficient and fast, maybe a little too fast but when I asked him questions he answered them to my satisfaction. Note: the computer pad thing was a real issue - there were 7 people in the waiting room at one point and every one of them was working on filling in their new patient information. But, thanks to Erica and Dr. Nick I will be going back. :-)

The actual care provided by nurse practitioner Kwan was first rate.
The waiting room was jam packed and standing room only.social distance and masks not much help in this situation with so- so ventilation.
Picture taken by assistant with dubious claim it was needed for patient record.
Lengthy consent forms on notebook held by assistant were shoved under nose for signing after care was given and while literally on the way out the door. Questionable practice to say the least.
Not convinced I will return for scheduled follow- appointment.

I saw Doctors Jennifer, she only looked at my wound, told me how to treat it but didn't actually treat the wound. Let me leave the office with an open wound. She only looked at my wound, didn't even try to treat my wound. Then they never sent my prescription to pharmacy. Honestly worse vist ever. Didn't feel taken care of or valued as a patient.

The front office never told the doctor my prescription wasn’t covered by insurance, had me come to the office almost a month later just to ask if the prescription that i never received, was working. Then, after I told the doctor I can’t pay out of pocket for the prescription, she offers to write a prescription for an even more expensive one. In the end there was nothing that they could do or offer, which could have been told to me via phone.

I was left with a bad taste after the doctor requested I return in two weeks after my initial visit to see if the treatment was working when i returned the doctor looked at me for two second then told me I’d have to come back in 8 weeks because that when i would see results. It made me feel like a piggy bank and not a patient they were trying to help.

This is Steven Bennett. I made an appointment back last October. The soonest I could get was February 1st. About 10 days before the appointment I received a text saying the appointment was canceled. I'm a snow bird and go north for 6 months every year on April 1st. The closest reschedule date is April 11th (a week and half after I have left Las Vagas). If next year plays out the same as this year, I will never get an appointment for a badly needed procedure. How can you treat people this way?
