I am extremely disappointed in my experience upon reading all of her amazing reviews. i’m not sure if it was because i’m young or if she was having a bad day but Dr. Landero didn’t seem interested in solving any of concerns or even looking into them. Her responses to my questions were rude and egregiously vague. I’m glad she at least treats her other patients well but I will not be keeping her as my pcp.

After a very good feedback from my friend, I planned to make Dr Maria Landero my PCP. Took an appointment to establish myself as her patient. The day before my appt I called her clinic and told them I did not have my new ins card showing her as my PCP and I was told that as long as the members ID and group no have not changed it should be fine. Things were totally different when I went for my appt. I was told that my ins change to reflect her as my PCP was not till Feb & I could not see her today! I told her why wasn’t I told about this when I scheduled the appt and all she said was “sorry” Anyways, so I told her to reschedule me and the first availability for a new patient was July!!! I couldn’t believe it. Now I couldn’t go to my old PCP and I didn’t have a new one till July. I tried to explain that I needed some referrals and it was not possible for me to wait till July to get them. She went to talk to her manager and came back to give me the same story & apologised that the person who scheduled my appointment was lacking training and should have informed me then. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she was in a meeting! If she was in a meeting how did she go talk to her just couple minutes before!! I pleaded to squeeze me in to see Dr Landero, so I can establish myself as her patient and could get the necessary referrals. I was bluntly told it was not possible. How can you not have any opening for 3-4 months? Why does it say on the website that she is taking new patients, if appointments are not easily available? This is so unfair, that their office made a mistake and I have to pay for it! If you are taking new patients then make appointments available instead of giving it after 3-4 months!!! Now I have no PCP and can’t get any referrals etc!!

Dr. Landero is an amazing person. She is very kind, caring and knowledgeable. She helps me very much and I am grateful for her.

As new patient first visit she takes the time but when test results get done she doesn’t go over them and when I communicated to main office she confronts you in a very unprofessional manner…

I was a new patient and she took her time to go over all my concerns. Followed up with my referrals to specialists. Her staff is great also.
