I have used these guys twice now in the last year and both times I have had the greatest of care. They just took me into a room did the preliminary stuff Dr Mayer did a pretty cursory exam and stated what I pretty well knew already that I had a cataract and he referred me to a place for surgery. I've been "seeing" Dr. Mayer for years. I have had eye issues in the past and he is the best optometrist I've found in the area (yes I've tried others). He takes time to understand your needs and assures you have the correct prescription to meet this. I spend allot of time on the computer and with this taken into consideration, he has made sure my eyes are not straining and are comfortable during the day. The exam itself is not a one size fits all. The staff is kind and friendly. You can tell they like working there. The office is very clean. Dr. Mayer and his team do an excellent job! The staff is always friendly, welcoming and helpful and there always seems to be new technology every year that I get my exam. Also, the puffer test hardly puffed, it was more of a flutter. LOL. See y'all in a year!

I was referred here. Dr. Mayer was spoken highly of. so I was super excited to bring him 4 new clients. When calling and speaking with Krista she had informed me that I needed the specific name of vision insurance I had which wasn’t a big deal I called my HR department and they informed me of the name. I called the clinic back the next day and got Krista again and apparently the name I provided wasn’t good enough she told me multiple times she couldn’t find me in the system. Then about 3 times after saying she couldn’t find me, she found me but not my kids (which were also on my insurance). She then said she didn’t have enough information so she referred me back to my HR department, stating my kids need to be added to my eye insurance and I couldn’t come in to provide the insurance cards that my kids are on. She stated she needed to find me in the “system”. After multiple odd phone conversations with Krista still not getting anywhere, with no appointments set up, and never encountering anything like this before. I called another eye clinic and within minutes they were able to find me and my kids in the system just fine with only a few simple pieces of information the phone call was short and simple. PLUS I have appointments set up for all of them. LONG story short Dr. Mayer lost out on 4 new clients just because Krista wasn’t willing to try. Super sad. But hopefully in the future she doesn’t lose more business for him.

I love Dr. Mayar! So personable and really cares about your eyes. I’ve had contacts since I was 13 (32 now) and only when I went to Mayar a couple years ago did I find out I had an astigmatism and got new contacts which changed my life!! Takes his time with you - for sure go here

Office staff is professional & very friendly... Dr. Mike Mayer is very thorough w/ explaining everything to you & in terms so you understand. He showed me when he was testing my eyes what my old script looked like & what the new one will look like & he always tells you if you get your glasses and you have problems with them to bring them back in so he can fix the problem. Ive already referred one new client & will be referring more.

Okay I typically let my Insurance Company choose my Doctors for me. This time I decided to go on Google and find the best Eye Doctor in Las Vegas Nevada. The first Eye Doctor that populated was Mayer Eye Care. Dr. Michael G. Mayer and his team exceeded my expectations and for filled my needs. I have recommended him to my family and friends. If you want someone who truly cares and takes the time to give you the options you need go to Dr. Michael G. Mayer and he will treat you like family. Found them on Google about 10 years ago...and I've never been more happy.
Dr Mayer is so amazing. From my first appointment he mad me feel very comfortable he always answers all my questions and educated me on my eye health and hygiene. As soon as my daughter came to age for her first eye appointment I came to him. At this time my whole family sees him .I'm so Iucky i found them.The whole office IS AMAZING from front and back staff every time you walk through the door eveyone is always friendly and they make you feel at home. I can honestly say in all my years in Vegas this has been my best find by far.
