After my intake and EKG I was seen by Dr Aschenaki who asked why I was even there. When I said I was referred by my doctor for cardiac clearance in order to start a medication she became even more abrupt and irritated, stating they don’t do that sort of thing. Bear in mind I did not just take it upon myself to see her, this was a visit that I needed to fulfill through a referring physician and stated as such. And only at that point did she become a bit less combative & dismissive and put in an order for an echo & calcium score test.

Awful and totally unprofessional experience. I will never see this physician again.

This is a pleasant office. The front office staff is efficient and friendly. I was taken back promptly and helped by an assistant who readied a test, collected her results. Dr Aschtanaki answered my questions, advised future appt. It was made and I was on my way.

The receptionist could not have cared less than I had an emergency. She was more concerned about being part of the problem than part of the solution. I had to speak ti the practice manager who was wonderful. Dr Aschenaki and her assistants were also wonderful.

March 12,2025 Appointment with Dr. Mekdelawit Achenaki

When I checked in, I was handed a tablet to complete my check in details that I was not able to complete via the computer. The latest medical history they had on me was my visit at the VA hospital. They expected me to add all the details of
my December 11th 2025 ambulance visit to Mountain View Hospital, my December 22nd ambulance trip to Mountain View Hospital and the subsequent transfer to Silver Hills Physical therapy facility on December 31st, 2025. I was in for physical therapy for one week and discharged on January 7th, 2025. They have all the records in my file but failed to input them into their computer records by March 12, 2025 for some reason.

Dr. Achenaki began our visit with the question: “Why are you here?” She looked at my file and asked if it was because on my issues on December 11th (2024).

Obviously this Doctor was not prepared.

I will not be returning to this Clinic.

And when asked to elaborate, not much information is provided, as if I'm supposed to know this stuff already... after each visit, it doesn't feel like she has your needs in mind.
