I was referred to Dr Mohtaseb by my primary care doctor. I was amazed by my initial appointment with NP Pink who methodically took me through the process and answered all my questions. After testing I met Dr Mohtaseb. He is professional, knowledgeable and most important, kind. The entire staff goes the extra mile to help with concerns or questions. After 5 weeks into my treatment plan, I am making real progress. We live in a medical desert where many doctors are average or worse. Dr Mohtaseb’s practice is finding the oasis. Wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!

I was told I had to see a hematologist so I chose to see Dr Mohtaseb, I didn't know anything about him so I was nervous, my first visit was with Dr Rachel Pink, she asked questions and ordered a lot of tests, my next visit was with the doctor, he explained my condition to me and made suggestions on a medication that would work along with other medications I already took, another visit with Rachel Pink where she explained how the medication worked. After 5 weeks of medication there is a improvement. Doctor Mohtaseb is very thorough and patient and takes time to answer all my questions, Dr Pink and everyone on the staff has been friendly and helpful. I am thankful I chose their practice.

To be fair….i was 15 minutes late because I had my appointment time screwed up. I got there at 12pm. Being seen before. They took me back after maybe a 5 minute wait. Then I sat in the room until 1:35pm with no communication, no hey we are sorry he is running behind. I finally asked and they told me just a couple of minutes. I gave until 1:40pm and left. No we are sorry. No please he will be right there. No Nothing! I left and will not be back! Leaving someone in a room for over an hour and a half is ridiculous! Especially with Zero communication or anything!

I’m thankful I’m better, but how dare you say be thankful I’m not worse! Like other patients! You have no idea my medical situation. Since trying to see you I spent 2 nights at St. Rose and am currently not able to walk! Instead take accountability. I get things happen! First phone call I made was very friendly and they let me know to call back after 1:30 to make an appointment. When I called back a day later the person Who answered the phone was really rude. Asked me if they had called me. I said no that I was calling back to make an appointment because I have a referral from my doctor that they had received and she got really rude and just said we will call you for an appointment you don’t call us we’ll call you….. I have still yet to hear from them. That was about a month ago. Very disappointing and I guess I’ll wait and go back to my family Dr. And hope that what I have going on isn’t super serious and that they can refer me to a new establishment.

Incompetent front desk staff. I called to verify that our insurance was accepted, was told yes they do. I requested the from the PCP and Mohtaseb accepted it and gave us an appointment. I drive across town to the appointment, hand over the insurance card and I’m told that they don’t take that insurance. Train the staff!

Dr. Mohtaseb and his staff are first rate. I was at what was the worst time of my life, they cared and that mattered. The staff are very knowledgable and took care of all the details of my treatment for me. The only thing I had t do was show up. Dr. mohtaseb has a great bedside manner and explains everything in a way that makes sense. I have nothing bad to say about him and his staff. All of them are very compassionate and attentive for all your needs. We, my husband and I, are very happy to have Dr Mohtaseb as my Oncologist. He has been very professional and nice during my visits and patiently explained the results during the follow ups of my lab works. Every visits I had with Dr Mohtaseb and his front desk ladies were pleasant. I totally agree with the two 5 starts reviews I just read. They are very right about Dr Mohtaseb and his office in Henderson. I strongly recommend Dr Mohtaseb to anyone who has problems in his specialized areas.

Well.... I had my Dr's office send a referral here less than 2 weeks ago.. I never received a call from this office letting me know they received it. I called roughly 4 days or so after it was sent. When the I called and spoke with the scheduler to see if they received it, she told me yes but she hadn't gotten around to putting it in the system . She said she would call when it's done. That was 8/3/2023. I called back the following Mon and she rudly said it hadn't been done yet and that she would call me. Here we are at 8/10/2023 and I never got a call. Needless to say, I've had my referral sent elsewhere. If you can't even get a scheduler to return your call and be cordial, I have a sneaky suspicion that your health and care would not be in good hands. These reviews are deceiving.

My review is for the office staff Kalani and Courtney. Dr. Mohtaseb is an excellent doctor, but his front office lady is horrible. She was supposed to send lab papers to quest as well as email them to me. We show up for our appointment the next morning at 5:50 am to quest and they have no lab papers that was supposed to be sent to them. There was nothing we could do that early in the morning as Dr. Mohtaseb's office does not open until 8 am. They didn't answer their phone until past 9. After I asked a few questions to Kalani, she decided I was being rude, which I wasn't. Didn't think asking questions was being rude, just because she didn't have proper answers for her lack of work. She hung up on me and refused to answer my calls ON PURPOSE. after attempting to reach their office numerous times with no luck, I decided to file a police report as she was purposely putting my mom's life in danger. Those are labs that was urgent and needed to be completed immediately. My mom's life is at risk now because she refuses to send in paperwork or answer the phone. I will also be filing a report with the medical board. If something happens to my mom, Kalani is responsible.
